Peugeot 5008 - 7 seater
by kell_jenkinsCombined rating
The Peugeot 5008 was everything a family could need, we didn't have a chance to use the 7 seats but did put them up to see how roomy the car was and you could easily fit an adult in the 3rd row seats, when using the 5 seats with the back row down the boot has an amazing amount of space, we have a fairly bulky pram and managed to fit the pram, nappy bag, 2 scooters and some toys with room to spare!
Peugeot 5008 - total luxury
by kell_jenkinsCombined rating
Drivers seat massage... yes please! How did I not discover this earlier, the massage function made the car feel like pure luxury! Although we didn't get to drive long distance I can imagine taking this car on a family trip and having an amazing back massage arrive relaxed :) I admit I drove the long way around to enjoy the function a bit longer!
Peugeot 5008 - 3 car seats across
by kell_jenkinsCombined rating
The elusive 3 across for car seats, we have a much larger SUV that didn't fit the same 3 car seats as easy and roomy, we have 2 in boosters and a rear facing, the seats were so easy to install and felt so secure, the back seats are moulded so the seats secure well and have little movement. Both my older 2 children were able to easily get their hands between the seats to secure their seat belts and getting our youngest into the middle was so easy, the argument of who is going to sit next to their baby sister didn't happen for a few days while driving, worth more than anything :)
Peugeot 5008 review
by kell_jenkinsCombined rating
We were lucky enough to review the Peugeot 5008 for a few days, what an amazing car!! As a family of 5 space is a huge factor in our family car and this one didn't disappoint, it doesn't feel like a huge car to drive the design has been well thought out and executed into a stylish, practical and very functional 7 seater SUV, would happily and proudly drive the 5008 as our every day car
Solid and safe on the freeway
by Kalani’sMumCombined rating
I have spent some time driving and testing the Peugeot 2008 SUV. As a young family we spend quite a bit of time on the freeway and although it's a small car, the 2008 feels very safe and solid on the road. I feel comfortable driving my kids from the city to my mum's house in the country on the weekends.
Roomy yet compact!
by mom306065Combined rating
My Peugeot 5008 SUV 7 seater that I had the joy of reviewing was surprising roomy. Lots of boot space to fit my double pram plus my sons bike and scooter!!! I drive into the city x3 days a week for work and I have a very tight car park and it was a dream to park with all the sensors and birds eye view of reverse parking. It’s an absolute triumph of a car.
More boot space
by MelKCombined rating
The boot space could be a little more deeper so it can fit more things in. My boys have outgrown a pram but I can imagine once you put a pram inside, you might struggle to put other things in. I was able to fit all my weekly shop in with no issues. However we tried to fit in a junior bike and scooter and I had to jam it in, so the door will close. One feature I do like is the automatic opening and closing of the boot which is handy when you have 2 handfuls of shopping plus little kids to hold on to.
Stress free parking
by MelKCombined rating
Love the birds eye view camera when parking. Helps see from all angles how close you are to other cars and/or poles. Really takes the stress out of tight spots!
Picking up our 3008
by mom323194Combined rating
Picked up the new ride for the next few days and was surprised and how stylish the SUV was. Looked bigger than. I expected. Feels so smooth and easy to drive. Comfy leather seats and spacious seating. We are excited to get the baby seats in the back and see how much room we ate left with
What about the storage?
by JulieSCombined rating
When I was using a 7 seater to maximum capacity the school bags filled the boot, shoes were strewn on the floor as kids quickly changed out of school uniform into clothes for whatever afternoon activity we were heading to, and my handbag usually ended up underneath it all (including the snacks eaten on route). But now that I'm after a car that is a little more about me, I'm more interested in driver comfort and mid size, than a third row and multiple drink holders.. So how excited was I to discover that the driver's side storage bins are the perfect size for my handbag - convenient, clean and feeling just a little bit fancy amongst the wood grain and nappa leather.
Peugeot 5008 stylish design
by kell_jenkinsCombined rating
The design of the Peugeot I-cockpit was so functional and easy to use, they have thought of everything with the style! I loved the small leather steering wheel which gave plenty of room to see the dash board, having the next steps of the navigator shown on the dash not just the screen made it really easy to navigate when I didn't know the area. Everything felt streamlined and easy to navigate through, the charging pad for mobiles was so great I always forget to charge mine so being able to just pop it into the area and have it charge while driving and also out of view so your not tempted to look at anything was a fav of mine
Peugeot 5008 - safety
by kell_jenkinsCombined rating
Peugeot have really thought about safety in the 5008, I felt totally comfortable from the first time I was driving, the lane assist made me feel totally at ease driving through busy streets I wasn't familiar with not knowing the size of the car, reversing with the 2 views made parking in a busy shopping centre a dream and think it was the straightest ive ever parked a car!
Can fit x3 car seats and so easy to install
by mom306065Combined rating
Finally a car that didn’t take a degree to work out how to put a car seat in. For years I have been paying professionals to install my car seats- but the 5008 model was so simple. I loved that I could fit in x3 car seats if necessary along the rear as I quite often look after my friends little boy. So it was a treat being able to take them all out by myself. There was plenty of leg room for both front passenger/driver and the kids in the car seat too, which is a real problem in my current car.
SO STYLISH!!!!
by mom306065Combined rating
I didn’t think I could combine a Mum car and a stylish ride but boy was I wrong! The leather seats, wood panelling along the doors and general finish is all I could’ve hoped for in a car and more. It really is a dream family car
Baby seats in for the real test
by mom323194Combined rating
It’s day 3 and we installed the 2 baby seats in the back and was still able to fit someone in the middle. We put the car to the test by driving an hour away and was nice and comfy. No complaints in the back even from the 3rd person. Drive wise was really smooth and luxurious to drive. Navigator was a great extra to use which also pops up on the dashboard so you dont have to keep looking at the screen in the middle of the car.
Spacious family car
by mom323194Combined rating
Deceiving little SUV but infact was able to fit 2 car seats in the back plus a 3rd person in the middle. Drove over an hour away on the weekend and it was a comfy car woth full leather interior. Third person in the back had no complaints about feeling squashed. I must also note the reverse and 360 camera which is such a great function which all cars should have. Got my daughter tick of approval
Navigation system for everyone
by MelKCombined rating
The in built navigation system plugs and plays for both Apple and Android users. This was quite handy to have since I am an Apple user and my husband is an Android user. He connected his phone seamlessly and could access his dong playlists and utilize Googlemaps. The navigation is operated via touch screen and is very easy to navigate between functions.
Truly special car
by MelKCombined rating
I think this feature is very unique to Peugeot. A welcome light is projected on the floor with the Peugeot badge from the door. Nothing like a VIP, rockstar welcoming every time you get into your car!
Futuristic and Stylish
by AmoreCombined rating
Day 1 of driving the Peugeot 2008 SUV (smallest out of the range) and after trying to figure out how to get it into drive and getting used to a smaller car (currently own a Honda CR-V) we pulled out of the driveway and off we went. I absolutely love the heads up display and how you can set it to show you everything from Navigation to speed signs. Not only is this car quiet and so smooth to drive, it's comfortable and spacious. My son fell asleep almost immediately and didn't even wake up when the car was stopped. Excited to see what this car has in store for us!
Headturning design
by JulieSCombined rating
Day 3 and we put the 3008 to the test with a round trip to the beach, dog park and the dreaded tight parking in the local shopping centre. Everyone (including the 20kg pooch and a surfboard) fitted in easily and we zipped down to the beach with ease. I did notice a few people doing a double take at the car - the "black pack" on the 3008 SUV means the badging is in matte black rather than the usual silver so you have to look twice to see the make. Parking my 7 seater is always a challenge on a weekend as there are few spots big enough for me to get the ole "tank" in easily ... lets just say that parking is not my strong point. But the 3008 is smaller in size and also has a split screen reverse camera so you can see behind you, an overhead view and the added comfort of the "beeps" to tell you how close you are to the surrounding cars. Surprisingly for a car with so much high tech bells and whistles, the reverse camera picture is pretty grainy - but the overhead view is fine. I would have expected a higher resolution picture but it doesn't in any way detract from the usefulness of the reverse camera. I have been told that I should be trying the manual mode the GT Sport offers but, not being that fussed on how the mechanics of how a car drives, I am not sure if I have the energy to delve into the online manual to work out how to do it - if someone walked me through it in a showroom I may give it a go - but I'm exceptionally happy with how the car feels driving in auto mode. Tomorrow the 3008 is taking me into the CBD for a business meeting, via a trip to the local coffee shop .... well I need to test out the cup holders don't I?
It just gets better with every drive!
by JulieSCombined rating
Every time I get in this absolute pleasure of a car I find something new to love .... this test drive pretty much sealed the deal and I'll be heading to the showroom to buy one. While the car is pretty intuitive to drive, I have the real sense that I am not utilising all the amazing features in relation to both driver comfort and safety. Within the large touchscreen are plethora of options to customise your drive - it was here that I found the driver seat massage function - I gave that a good workout between the usual Saturday run around of shopping, visiting the dog park and dropping off and picking up the kids. I did find it a little distracting to have a lumbar massage while navigating the traffic - however I popped it on while waiting for my son to get out of the surf and it was a treat .... sunroof open, massage function on - was in heaven! Another surprise that awaited me was the ease of night driving. While navigating a few dark back streets I noticed that headlights automatically lit up the inside bends of the road which made night driving much easier. There was also a spotlight that illuminated (with the peugeot logo) the ground surrounding the door and "mood lighting" that softly lights up inside the car ... peugeot calls it "welcome lighting". Just adds to the overall lux feeling of this car. The 3008 is a perfect size for me - enough room for the dog, a teen with a surfboard and a full weeks grocery shopping. For the past 10 years I have driven a 7 seater which I have loved. I really enjoyed having the extra space - but the reality is, as the kidlets have all grown older, most of the time its just me in the car .... but not always. The 3008 is nimble and small enough that I can zip around the shops and city, but big enough for me to still fit in the not so small dog and a teenager and a mate.
Final review 3008
by mom323194Combined rating
As previously mentioned, my o only salt would be the boot to this SUV. I loved that it looked compact very spacious interior, I was able to fit two baby seats in the back and three adults in the car and just the field of the car was very luxurious all the instructions will touch options as well. The car was amazing on petrol which I think is a real bonus for a family. Also have 360 view cameras which I think is a great little added bonus
Ultimate Comfort
by mom306065Combined rating
This little slice of heaven is such a delight to drive. From the waffled, leather heated massage drivers seat, to the the way it glides along the road and around corners. It really does make for the ultimate in comfort for our 5 people family. Very impressive.
So Spacious, luxurious & a wonderful drive
by mom306065Combined rating
Oh no! I’ve completely fallen head over heels in love with this car!!!!! Since getting my hands on this little gem I have been trying to find reasons to head out on multiple times to the shops for no reason other than to enjoy the absolute dream of a ride. It’s spacious yet compact enough for me to feel safe driving and parking in smaller car spots. The fold out trays in the backseat my son Archie just adores- it’s almost like being on a flight! I will struggle to give this car back. If I could rate 6 stars I would.
Love the sporty steering wheel
by Kalani’sMumCombined rating
The more I drive the 2008 the more I love the steering wheel and i-Cockpit arrangement. It's so sleek and sporty. It makes driving on the freeway and in traffic enjoyable!
Stylish way to
by JulieSCombined rating
Today's the day - picked up the keys to drive the Peugeot 3008 SUV. My first impression .? wow, just wow. Sitting in the driver's seats surrounded by brushed silver, leather and wood grain and the overall feel is luxury, comfort and plenty of bells and whistles. The steering wheel is smaller than that in the old trusty people mover - but it felt great - so comfortable. Before I knew it - the panoramic sunroof was done, spotify connected and I was flying ( .... sensibly of course) towards home to pick up the teen from school camp. Great first impression and can't wait to get back behind the wheel on day 2.
Super stylish design
by MelKCombined rating
If you quickly glance, this car could easily be mistaken for a Range Rover. The car looks sexy and quite masculine at the same time with the front grill and slanted headlights. This blue is quite unique and the color pops out underneath the sunlight!
Good for small families
by kk77Combined rating
For our young family ( 4 and 7 year old) this car is a good fit. The booster seat and car seat fits in the back but it does leave little room for a third passenger in the centre - it could fit another child or skinny adult but definitely not a third car seat. It was very easy to install the car seats too- two hooks, each located behind the seat. I did it myself for the first time :) Boot size is good for us now but if we had a pram - be it single or double, it would leave little space for shopping and other bits and bob. I do like that the boot has that top cover to make it flush - good for happy changing and easy to load and unload, and it’s good to hide and store things underneath. Overall I think the internal size is only slightly bigger than our hatch- would prefer a bit bigger. If I was going to invest in a new car I would be forward thinking and get something bigger- not the biggest SUV but perhaps next size up from this one. When the kids get older they will need more room - size wise as they will be bigger and also to drive a third person comfortably, and to carry luggage, bikes etc. We plan to do lots of road trips and outdoorsy activities like sports, camping, skiing, road trips, beach etc and we definitely need bigger car for that. Even now. But at the moment our kids are young so our activities are much simpler.
It can unlock and lock based on proximity!
by kk77Combined rating
One feature I love about the Peugeot 2008 SUV (probably not new but it is to me!) is the cars ability to lock and unlock itself based on proximity - the person with the key can walk away and the car will automatically lock and close the side mirrors, and vice versa when walking towards the car! How good is that. Great for when your hands are full with groceries or carrying children. No need to fumble around looking for your keys in the rain. Same goes for the keyless entry - which means u can keep your keys in your messy oversized nappy bag and still be able to get into your locked car and drive away in the rain without looking for the key! Living in the inner west, especially where I am requires pushing in your side mirror if you are parked on the street to avoid getting swiped by careless drivers or mega trucks who think they can fit through and take a swipe without anyone noticing. So the automatically closing of side mirrors is perfect for that - and how many times have you gotten into your car and realised you forgot to flip out your window on the left side meaning you have to get out (in the rain) to flip it. Now you don't have that problem =) Thanks Peugeot, you have solved one of my many first world problems!
All Things Baby & Sport?
by CecilAndPKCombined rating
Our 10 month old son's car seat was easily installed, however our pram took up so much of the boot space. For a bubba, the inbuilt window shades were fabulous and the comfort of mood lighting was the best! My husband car pooled for golf and 3 golf bags could fit in the boot (on a diagonal slant) as well as a golf trolley. That's awesome!
Another Day of Pure Peugeot Bliss!
by CecilAndPKCombined rating
If you're looking for ultimate comfort and Mood Lighting during your night drives, this is the perfect car for you! You realise how super comfy the seats are when it's dark, there's beautiful soft blue lights setting the mood and ambiance and the car quietly cruises along. We used the manual drive function last night and this is perfect if you have a husband like mine that prefers to drive manual while I prefer automatic. Our Peugeot 5008 has gone to golf this morning so I'll update about the suitability of the boot size for sport equipment next! We're planning a picnic lunch out later so I'll be back!
Very slick and sexy car for inner city driving
by kk77Combined rating
My first impression of the SUV 2008 was - it's not that much bigger! It does have a large front, like a large SUV but the rest of the body is only slightly taller and longer than my hatchback - and width wise it feels almost the same. And this is mostly based on the backseat space - I was hoping it would be wider than our current car but it's just as squishy with two car seats. None the less, it's an amazing car that's fun to drive and very comfortable. It has lovely, quality interior trimmings - the yellow fluoro and white stitching throughout the car for added texture, the carbon fibre finishes and the green line thats lights up in the car. I also love the sun roof, it's so big! The kids loved staring out of it and it added some extra natural light to the car but it does get a bit too sunny and hot so we had to close it at times. Seat warmers - yes, seat warmers! This may not be a new thing but coming from someone who has a old 2013 hatchback, this is a very cool feature. It comes in three modes too - warm, warmer and warmest! =) So far, we haven't had to use this yet as the weather has been amazing and warm but we did have a play and you can definitely feel the heat under your butt. The leather interiors and seats are also a fave of mine -with kids in tow, leather is more durable and easier to clean than cloth seats. And it feels so good to sit on. Makes the experience so much more lavish and comfortable. And the added stitching makes it look good and feels good too - it somehow feels a bit different (in a good way). Also, at least if there are marks and scratches, it's less obvious if the seats have texture and lines on it than all smooth. This car is great for zipping around through the narrow crowded streets of the inner west and inner city suburbs. Great for fitting in those tight spots too. And the parking sensors really help in these situations too.
All Round Eating
by CecilAndPKCombined rating
I thoroughly enjoyed keeping this car for a few days, it was a luxurious and great time for my family! Would I spend that kind of money on a car? I'd probably rather put it on a mortgage as it's very expensive. Family cars are bound to get wear and tear and I'd be so worried about messing up the wonderful interior. There are features I'm not too fussed about like the puddle lights, but that be someone's favorite feature!
Sophisticated and stylish
by Kalani’sMumCombined rating
I have been lucky enough to test drive the beautiful Peugeot 2008 SUV GT sport. To look at it is an extremely sophisticated, sleek and sporty SUV. The quality is next level it feels like a very safe and solid car on the road. It’s smooth and stylish to drive. Being a flight attendant myself I love the icockpit style for the dash! It’s so sleek! I love the steering wheel design, it’s very comfortable and looks great too! It is spacious enough for the two car seats in the back and my daughter loves the sunroof! It’s a luxurious feature for us! I can’t wait to take it out for another drive this afternoon!
Grocery shopping in the Peugeot SUV 2008
by kk77Combined rating
Today is the final day of driving this sexy black SUV around town - we decided to take it on our usual weekly grocery shop. As expected, the groceries were easy to load and unload, can just slide out of the boot if he bags were too heavy. However, I did notice that the size was not bigger than my hatch - it's about the same. Would be good if the boot was a bit bigger. Imagine if I had my double pram in here! It definitely would be a struggle to fit everything - and our shop was not that huge either (that include toilet paper, rice, drinks, and back in the days, nappies!).
Super zipped up dash with the works!
by kk77Combined rating
One thing I loved about the Peugeot SUV 2008 model is the super zipped up, modern and fancy dash with the mega big screen and the speedometer screen behind the steering wheel. I love that the screen operates on touch, is full colour and is so big! Bigger than any other screens I have seen. It can show so many features and options on the one screen! So easy to see, even from the corner of your eye. The dash screen has so many features, I spent so much time in the car just playing around and trying to work out what does what - I still couldn't figure out how to change the time though. You would expect it to be under the Time/Date option but I couldn't change it - not a negative, just my inability to work it out and find out online! I love that it has all the standard stuff like blutooth, siri, Wifi etc but also Whatsapp, Google nav system and Spotify - there are so many apps on this and I believe its displaying whats on my phone. The good thing about whatsapp is that the car can speak out your messages for you and you can reply by speaking or by selecting of the pre-recorded msgs. Never seen that function before! That is just one of many. You can also create different profiles for different drivers, and can I also add, the blutooth function is seamless - once I have added my iPhone to it, it just connects automatically when I am in the car. And when someone calls, it's so easy to just pick up the call while driving - I don't have to try and re-connect it and then pick up the phone (like I do in my current car)...by this point, the caller has hung up! It also has park assist functionality and there are sensors that will warn you with beeping sounds and images on the screen when you are parking or if you are too close to another object., and it even show you were the constructions is and how close you are to it. No excuses to hit another object or park badly anymore - perfect for me! The speedomoter is also very big and looks kind of 3D - it just seems to pop out, looks like theres two layers. Funky! I really like how it has the speed limit of the local area above your current speed - it's all synchronised. No more excuses for speeding fines! And I like the green flashing indicator arrows that life on either side of the speedometer screen. Overall, I am so impressed by the dash, the speedometer screen and all the spicks and specks it has. IMPRESSED!
A fun experience overall
by AmoreCombined rating
So today I handed the keys back to this beautiful beast, and I can say it's been such a fun few days (the most I've left the house in a while). Honestly this has been such a great experience and this car is so great. Personally if I were going buy one I would go a bit bigger as there just wasn't enough space for me but other than that I loved every single thing about this car. If I could have kept it longer I would haha
Could do with bigger boot
by kk77Combined rating
What I love about the boot in the Peugeot 2008 SUV is that it has that extra adjustable boot floor to separate boot space - you can hide things underneath, like shopping bags or valuable items, or just stuff you need to store permanently in the car without taking up precious space. And, also great for nappy changing - you don't know how hard it is when you have emergency nappy changes in the car and the boot dips down like regular hatch. It is also great for loading and unloading things like groceries into the boot - no more having to dip down or lift things out of and over the side of the boot. You can just slide things in and out! Grocery shopping would be bit easier! However, I do think the boot space could be bit bigger. We used to have a double pram, which we reduced to a single stroller but either way, once that's in the car, it leaves little room from groceries etc. trust me...I have had that issue for years in my hatch. The shopping ends up on the floor of the back seats and the SUV does not seem to have much more space in the backseat either. I feel internally this car is not bigger than a regular hatch...and neither does the boot. We recently went to purchase my son a bike (small bike for 5 year old) and I expected it to fit in without having to put the seats down. And thank goodness we didn't bring our kids with us - we had to push down both seats and I still had to adjust the rear parcel shelf. It just wasn't wide enough for the bike.
Road trippin' with a full car!
by kk77Combined rating
So today we went on a road trip to freezing Blue Mountains (thank gawd for the seat warmers =)) in our Peugeot 2008 SUV. I managed to squeeze into the backseats in between a booster seat and a car seat - it was tight. And after sitting there all day, it confirmed to me that I need a bigger car than this - even now with my small family if I am to be driving a fifth person around. It actually is not bigger internally than my hatchback, although from the outside it is bigger. I fit in okay but I am small build and not something I would do regularly as it's not the most comfortable. Driving wise, the road trip was smooth. I love that everything is so quiet in this car - even slamming the doors is pretty quiet! According to my husband who drove the whole way, it was a very smooth and easy drive. Much more fun than our current hatchback! He noted that the steering feels good. However, the visibility was not great - the view in his opinion was not open enough and could be more open. The leather (warm) seats, the sky light for added light, and the great acoustics for our Spotify music made this a really nice drive. Music makes the drive feel faster. Kids had a blast, fighting over my phone to change the song which made it easy from the backseats because of the blutooth functionality! We had a blast zipping around the Blue Mountains in this sexy black car. Overall, road trippin' with a young family with just 4 people is do-able in this car but no more. 5th person, unless it's a child would not be ideal. And once the kids get older we will definitely grow out of this car. Personally, if I was to buy an SUV today, I would get the next size up to make it worth my while.
First downfall
by AmoreCombined rating
Day 2 of test driving the Peugeot 2008 SUV and I have officially found my first downfall with this car. We decided to go and do some shopping and I went to put our stroller in the car (bugaboo bee 6) and it takes up the whole boot with little room left for anything else. I'm not sure about the size of the other models but if I were to buy one of these I would definitely look at the bigger models as if I were to have another baby a double stroller would definitely not fit in here. I have 2 strollers in my Honda CR-V with space to fit another 2 more. Other than this I am still so in love with this car!
So sleek and so smooth!
by CecilAndPKCombined rating
I picked up the Peugeot 5008 yesterday for a test drive and boy this is one of the smoothest drives I've ever had! My favourite features are the satellite camera and the built- in window shades so far! It's only Day 1, so we're putting bub's car seat and pram in for a day out and then I'll be back!
Funky features on Peugeot SUV 2008
by kk77Combined rating
Lets start with the control buttons - It looks so wacky and out there, very different, Personally, I do not know if I like this. It's functional and easy to use but it reminds me of a typewriter and looks a bit dated. At first glance I wasn't sure if the buttons behind didn't anything but realised they were touch buttons - they didn't seem very responsive. Could they light up or click? They were all nicely laid out and layout if very systematic and works together with the dash screen well. I also would have preferred the phone button to be one of the clicking ones at the front - easy to quick flick without really looking if required. Steering wheel is not round, which is bit different and has nice leather all around it. Looks like a sports car! And you can control a few functions from the wheel, like volume. Seats can also be adjusted. electronically..and...wait for it...warmed!!! To three different level - warm, warmer, and warmest! Great for those Winter months but the leather is probably not so good during Summer when it gets so hot it could cook your thighs! The gear stick - it's different. You need to press side button to lift or push down and there is a red LED light to indicate what driving mode your are in. Most unusual gear stick I have seen. And the hand brake - it is a button! Very modern and very unusual - I have never seen this in any car. I think it does take getting used to but its just a unique feature that makes this SUV stand out. USB ports - theres two in the back seats so the kids can charge their devices! We currently only have one - so we are always fighting over who gets to charge their phones. Now three people can charge at the same time. There is also another port on the passenger side. I initially thought this was another USB charging station but I believe it is a USB-C port..not a port I would be using much of. Finally, I also like the glasses compartment..it's bigger than most I have seen and can fit more than one pair of glasses. There's also room underneath to store and hold other bits and pieces.
How about the Teenagers?
by CecilAndPKCombined rating
We live with our 14 year old twin niece and nephew. Our Peugeot 5008 went everywhere with us: basketball, piano lessons, tau'olunga (traditional Tongan dancing) practice, dropping our niece to her casual job, church & of course school drop off. It's such a smooth ride and the teens loved it! One thing I will say is that our nephew is 5 foot 11 and the ceiling (especially near the doors) was very low for him. My husband is 6 foot and he had the same issue. Leg space then meant that they weren't the most comfortable passengers. The teens' favorite features? The sunroof, the waffle leather seat covering and just general feel!
Pain Points & Great Things!

So after Day 3 of using the Peugeot 5008 as our everyday car, we've noticed a few pain points. Our pram (Silver Cross) fills up alot of the boot space. It did fit 3 golf bags (on a diagonal slant) with a golf buggy for my husband's car pool to golf yesterday though. We popped our baby seat into the middle seat and noticed that there was no way to pop down the middle seat's head rest. A bit annoying while driving that you can't see out the back window using your rearview. There are 3 anchor points for baby car seats though! The puddle lights are great and our bub was enthralled by the full ceiling sunroof. I love the idea of puddle lights but don't think it's a necessity. It's flashy though!
Makes night driving so much easier
by AmoreCombined rating
I've never been one to go for a drive at night but last night I decided to test it out and it honestly made my fear of night driving non existent! The interior lighting wasn't too harsh on my eyes and made it feel so much more comfortable and the headlights were amazing. The one feature I absolutely loved was the light that shines on my son while he's in his car seat when I open the door so I'm not left fumbling around with a very dull interior light. He also wasn't happy about me waking him up haha
