Review: Hugs & Bubs Nappies

To be honest, we are used to using pants because he can’t stay still while I’m putting his nappies but with this one, he willingly let me put his nappies on. Maybe because of the cute koala design????? Anyway, we have tried it during the day and night and so far so good. No experience with leaks overnight and during the day as well. No rashes as well which is good as he has sensitive skin. He is usually a size 5 in other brands, but I got size 6 with this brand and it just fits him perfectly. So consider sizing up. ???? Overall, I’m impressed.

I’m so impressed with these nappies! The print is super cute & although the nappies appear thinner than most of the ‘big’ brands, it certainly doesn’t affect how much they hold! They are SO absorbent, even more so than the more expensive brands. I absolutely love that they are Australian made, now more than ever we need to support Australian businesses, I also love the little koala character, it feels like a little nod to the Australian roots of the company. I would definitely recommend these to other mums. Well done Hugs & Bubs!

I've saved the nappy box for my soon to be born bub... In the interim here's what I found... The box is soooo cute and my older son thought it had some toys in it lol. The size is impressive and you don't need to get two boxes of nappies for one month's supply.. this one box at a cheaper price and great quality will do it all. I have done a test to try out the nappy capacity before bub is here just to review it. It feels soft and holds good amount of liquid but I'm not too sure about the gooey newborn poo. Loved our trail of the Hugs & Bubs nappies. I found the nappy really hugged my daughters body well, never leaked and had great absorption for overnight dryness. Loved the fact that they don’t contain any nasties for babies skin and love supporting Australian made products. These nappies are reasonably affordable on Amazon & delivered straight to your door super quick. A large box such as the ones we got could last us a whole month. Would defiantly recommend and purchase again.

Australian brand with all the good and non toxic benefits for your bubba's everyday need. We got the size 2 and love how comfy it feels, roomy but fitted - has soft stretchy waistband to make sure bubba is comfy. With wetness indicator so you don't have to guess and predict. Fragrance free meaning less chemicals was used to make it. Has fast absorption and works long. We also love the packaging, the calming color and the cute koala prints that definitely says Australian. Price is very competitive and really good. With promos available if you get monthly subscription from Amazon. Really worth it!

I was super skeptical when being asked to review these nappies. We have had a lot of trouble finding affordable nappies that don’t irritate our little ones skin; and I’m so excited to be able to say these were on point!! The nappies themselves are soft the the touch, have a good amount of stretch and flex in the waistband and appear to move with the body. The wetness indicated is great for those times your not sure, and the nappy itself has not leaked once!! Not once!!! At approximately 27cent per nappy they’re excellent value for money. My only one criticism is that they’re not easy accessible, and I do wonder if I would go to the effort of ordering nappies separate from my daily shop, and having to wait for delivery.

I was gifted some of these nappies to try, I was just going to test them of a day and stick to my usual nappies at night but my husband put one on for the night and to my surprise we woke up with no leaks! Definitely would use these again.

We were fortunate to try these Hugs and Bubs nappies for the trial. I'm pleased to say we actually really like them and will probably keep using them rather than going back to our previous big brand. We are big Amazon.com.au shoppers so having them available there, delivered with our Prime delivery is great! My little on is 15 months, and only 7kg so for her size she just gets into the 6-11kg Crawler size 3 nappies. She has a lot of room to grow in them so I think she will be in them for a long time to come. We like the fit indicator so we don't get them tighter on one side than the other, plus the wetness indicator helps too, this is available in most other brands. I'd never heard of the brand before so was a bit apprehensive, but am really happy with them.

I’ve been using these nappies on my newborn for the past week and have had no leaks or explosions! So happy with this brand, and will definitely use again! I have an almost 3 year old who isn’t toilet trained yet, so I’m interested to test out these nappies on my very active toddler! Thank you for these nappies! ☺️

It is great seeing an Australian made nappy with so many bonuses, like having no formaldehyde, no latex, no lotions or elementary chlorine and no perfumes plus the benefit of buying direct from Amazon for door delivery on a matter of days and such big boxes so you aren't thinking about nappies for a month at a time but as by this age, your littlies is a wriggler, it would benefit to have the nappy as a pull up to make it easier to put on bub instead of chasing them halfway around the house each change time

One stand out for this nappy would have to be the waistband! I was able to get a good fit even when bub suffered from bloat and wind

Fairly decent nappies. Have been using for nearly 2 weeks and had next to no issues but minutes before writing this review I changed my daughter to see her nappy had exploded (after 2 hours) and she had nappy crystals all over her. This has been the first incident though and my thoughts on them prior to this was 9/10. Price is affordable. Pattern is super cute. Holds a decent amount of wee (good for over night or long drives). I’ve used a few different brands and I’d probably use these again but I’m a little concerned over the crystals but hoping it’s a once off dud nappy. My daughter has allergy-type reactions to certain brands and so far she’s been safe in hugs&bubs.

I tried these nappies with my 2 year old. They worked quite well. No leaks, but I felt they didn't hold as much as other brands. They also seem to run on the small side, so order a size up just to be on the safe side. Designs are cute and bubs always felt dry on his skin even when the nappy was wet.

Sorry I’m not a fan, they are a very small fit and don’t seem to be long/wide enough or have wide enough leg holes.. I have been using them during the day but I find I need to change bubs nappy more often as they do not hold as much wee as our regular nappies. This makes the price point relatively the same as I’m using less nappies with our usual brand. The wet indicator doesn’t go an obvious blue and seems to spread a bit ending up looking like water colour. When bub does a ‘breastfed’ runny poo we almost always got poonamis and it went all up her back which doesn’t happen with our regular. I gave a bag to a friend to try and she had the same issue. Ended up with more soaking and washing! The nappies also went a bit see through with large wees/poos The tabs are very very weak and don’t grab very well. The nappy feels quite wet still after bub weed and a few minutes after. I most definitely wouldn’t trust these over night, we have quite a heavy wetter and I wouldn’t be game to even test the nappy. Thanks for the trial and Amazon had super speedy delivery. Love the option of a subscription and knowing the nappies will be delivered straight to your door at an amazing price but unfortunately the quality doesn’t live up to our standards.

I got the size for my newborn since my toddler had already given up wearing nappies. My baby is in size 2. Hugs and Bubs nappies are true to its size and fits my baby well. She feels comfy wearing it and I love the koala prints. However, since newborns have wet poo most of the time, it doesn’t hold well poo explosions. My bub kept on having leaks - let’s say in 6 out of 10 nappies. I was a bit disappointed with it so I won’t make any switch anytime soon.
