Review: De'Longhi La Specialista Arte Evo

I was lucky enough to be chosen to trial the new De'Longhi La Specialista Arte Evo. Straight out of the box it is easy to use and looks great. After unboxing the machine I was sipping on my first Cappuccino in under 10 minutes. The Arte Evo has a sleek and simple design that will fit right into any kitchen. Its footprint sits somewhere in the middle, however I think it is worth the space. The integrated grinder is a big plus for me, no need for an extra appliance. With 8 grind settings, you are sure to dial in a great espresso shot in no time. The instructions are clear and easy to follow so that even the most amateur home barista will be able to make cafe quality coffee without leaving the house. With a small baby constantly making a mess in my house, I appreciate that this machine includes a dose and tamp guide to contain the grinds. The drip tray easily slides out for regular cleaning and is dishwasher safe. The Arte Evo has 4 preset settings, Cold Brew, Espresso, Long Black and Hot Water - something for everyone. To have Cold Brew within 5 minutes seriously cuts down the time compared to traditional methods without compromising on the taste. This machine has elevated the experience of home made coffee. I look forward to my daily moment of peace with my cappuccino.

I work full time from home and I usually have at least 3 cups of soy latte each day. I have been using this machine for a week now and I have really enjoyed it. Finally I can have cafe-quality latte anytime I want at home! The machine is very easy to use. The buttons are very clear and once The biggest challenge I had was to get the milk right. It took me a couple of days of practicing with the soy milk before I got the hang of it. Then everything was a breeze. I normally use one shot of espresso with soy milk. I can make one in less than 5 minutes so I could even squeeze one in during a meeting break. Cleaning is easy too. Everything is dishwasher safe but I usually just give a good rinse after every use. The milk wand also needs a wipe after every use. The grinder doesn’t need any maintenance, just a dry wipe every now and again. I used to use a capsule machine but after using this machine, I could not go back to capsule. The taste is just different. I just hope the machine will last a long time!

Love this coffee machine so much, not only is it aesthetically pleasing but it makes quick and delicious coffee. I really like how compact this machine is with an adjustable grinder, the coffee kit makes it so simple and easy to use. My family loves cold coffee in the summer time so l like that the Delonghi La Specialista has a cold brew setting and it also boils water instantly for tea, this machine has something for everyone No matter what coffee I make, it comes out so creamy and rich, the greatest smell of coffee fills the home. I have wanted a manual coffee machine at home for years but resisted because I thought it wouldn’t be convenient or practical, wow was I wrong. I’m loving my De’Longhi La Specialista Arte Evo more & more each day, especially after I had my zoom training with a De’Longhi specialist. They answered my questions & explained all the functions, tips & tricks. I love drinking coffee at a cafe but now I even enjoy my delicious coffee at home that’s made by me! I highly recommend this machine for coffee lovers & definitely don’t be daunted or feel like it’s not convenient, you won’t regret it.

Since becoming a busy twin mum I was finding myself out and about spending a lot of money of coffee and Pod machines/instant coffee just wasn’t what I enjoyed anymore. From someone who loves coffee, the De’longhi La Specialista Arte Evo coffee machine has genuinely transformed my mornings. I wake up earlier to enjoy the process of making my own coffee before starting the day. It is easy to use and just by rotating the dial, I can switch between a cold brew, an espresso, a long black or even a cup of hot water. The built-in grinder has 8 levels (coarse to fine) and with just a push of a button, it will disperse the right amount of fresh grounds for a single or double espresso. My go-to coffee is the latte. The steam wand produces silky textured milk but I still need lots of practice to improve my latte art. I am only in the abstract art stage for now :) Any tips welcome. I also enjoy the cold brew function which makes smooth refreshing coffees. I will definely explore more recipes using this function. The necessary accessories are included with the machine, but I would have love to see a coffee knock box and and some fresh coffee beans included in the box. The unit look good, produce great cups of coffees at home and looks good. Just hope machine will last me few years. I have included some photos to show you my first few drinks. #LazyAwesomeDad

My partner is a coffee fanatic so when I told him we FINALLY had our very own coffee machine for our home, I had definitely earned some brownie points! The De’longhi La Specialista Arte Evo Coffee Machine gives you the perfect at-home cafe style coffee without having to leave the house! It has all the features you need for that perfect cuppa without being too large and bulky for your kitchen counter like some other machines. Being able to grind your own coffee beans without needing to purchase another appliance is also a big plus. One thing that might be nice to see on the machine is a dial for the milk frother function rather than just a button (to be able to control the frothing a bit more), but other than that we are highly impressed with this coffee machine and will definitely recommend it to our family and friends!
