    Love at first sight (or bite), that’s what describes my relationship with the Nice & Natural Deluxe Protein bars in double choc mocha and almond. It definitely was love at first sight because the packaging looks so good – a black box showing what to expect that is a luxurious silky chocolate covered protein bar. To be honest, I love chocolate, I love coffee and I love protein bars and this was a combination of all 3. The bar itself looks just like a chocolate bar and I half expected it to be hard like other nut based protein bars but this one was very soft to break, not jaw breaking and really tasty. I could taste the nuts, soy crisps and great tasting chocolate. So after the sight, it definitely was the case of love at first bite. Highly recommend these.

    Been on the go all morning. 1pm and only had a coffee.
    Crunchy but chewy. Sweet but bitter dark choc breaks it. Coffee comes through nice.

    And was filling ! No afternoon crash looking for a sweet pr something to get me through!

  • Delicious treat

    As someone who has just entered the world of gym workouts and calorie counting after four beautiful children this bar was a welcome surprise! I treated myself at the end of the day when I was craving a sweet hit. With higher protein than other bard on the market it helped me edge closer my protein target and the calories were still reasonably good. The texture and taste were on point and they were a great filling treat when the sweet cravings hit.

  • My favourite protein bars

    I’m not normally a fan of protein bars as I don’t like the taste of them. However the Nice & Natural Deluxe Protein Bars (Double Choc, Mocha & Almond) taste great, like a delicious chocolate bar. I’ve been enjoying them either as a breakfast bar or as an afternoon snack as they are not overly sweet and very satisfying. I highly recommend them.

  • Delicious snack!

    I brought this box with me on a zoo play date and shared it with my partner and friends. It got rave reviews! I couldn’t fault the taste- it was like a delicious chocolate bar but healthy. I loved how the coffee flavour was infused throughout. The nuts and little crunchy balls made it light, crispy but still very satisfying. As it was a mocha flavour, I didnt offer to my kids but they were so jealous and really wanted to try so I’ll be looking out to see if there is a variant without the coffee flavour.

    Because of the nuts and protein, it left me satisfied for a while and it was such a great snack to tide my over until my next meal. We loved it!

  • Very delicious

    It is amazingly delicious and doesn’t taste like other protein bar. It actually taste like chocolate mocha bar which is super enjoyable. It is nice for morning tea, quick breakfast on the go or even afternoon tea time. Would definitely recommend and will be buying more for sure. It is not overly sweet, just right.

    I loved the new protein bars, the mix of almonds and peanuts, with the crispy bits with a balance of coffee and chocolate flavours are delish. Definitely my go to new bars.

  • Obsessed with this Snack Bar

    I thoughtfully enjoyed this mocha flavoured almond bar. I found it so decadent and thick, it actually tasted like i was eating a delicious coffee flavoured chocolate bar. The mocha was perfect for me it was just right, the almonds inside were amazing and they added a nice crunch. I can honestly say i will be buying this from now on as i just love it!

  • Brilliant, tasty high protein treat

    This was such a tasty treat! It’s high protein which means it keeps you full for longer – but not at the cost of super high calories. The hint of coffee is such a nice blend with the chocolate – but thankfully isn’t too overly sweet. Size-wise it’s perfect for a mid afternoon treat. Will absolutely be buying these again!

  • Love it! Not calorie conscious though

    It tasted great! That’s for sure. I was a little disappointed at the size though. It feels smaller than an average muesli bar or comparable bar. I was most disappointed when I checked the nutritional information though. For the calorie count you can get something larger and with more protein. The bonus is though it doesn’t feel like a protein bar so that could be a win for those who don’t like the traditional protein taste.

    I love the flavour of Nice & Natural Deluxe Protein Bars – double choc mocha & almond. Plenty of nuts inside, and chocolate coating is not sickly sweet even it’s double chocolates. Great size for some tea break with a cup of coffee, good source of protein and fibre, I would recommend if you are looking for guilty pleasure snack.

  • Crunchy with lots of flavour

    I very carefully bit into this bar, worried that the almonds would be hard but was pleasantly surprised. Easy to bite into but still has a great crunch to it. The ratio of coffee and chocolate of the mocha flavor is spot on and I enjoyed this combination. Great bar if you want a quick fix for a small snack or crave some chocolate. I will definitely buy this product again

  • Protein bar without the chalky taste!

    Obsessed with the new Nice & Natural Deluxe Protein Bars in Double Choc, Mocha & Almond! The mix of nuts and mocha feels so indulgent but without that weird chalky protein bar texture. Love there’s no artificial ingredients and having 8g of protein keeps me super full. Will definitely be restocking the cupboard!

  • Tasty bar!

    This bar was really yum and I loved it as an afternoon snack! It terms of the macronutrients, if I am eating it instead of a muesli bar, then it is great! But, if I am eating it instead of a protein bar, then they aren’t as good. I would say that this bar is up there with some of the nicest tasting protein bars I have had though! The coffee flavour isn’t too overpowering which is nice

  • New favourite protein bars

    Hubby was blown away and will be buying these in the future, I think these are great for a morning snack or afternoon treat it would go great along side a coffee for sure. I throughly liked them also but not as much as hubby I’m interested to see what other flavours they have.

  • surprisingly good bar

    I’m not usually a big fan of really chocolatey snacks, but I enjoyed this bar. It wasn’t overly sweet, and the dark chocolate helped balance the flavour. The crunch was good too.

    I would have liked a few more almond pieces, but I understand that would probably change the macros. For a protein bar, I think they’ve found a good balance between taste and nutrition. It also doesn’t have that typical protein bar taste, which was a nice surprise.

    Overall, I’d buy these again.

  • Deluxe protein bar

    You can feel a mouthful of nut and soy crisps when you first bite it. Then the dark chocolate blends perfectly with the coffee flavour. It has the best flavour and not to mention it contains 8g of protein in each bar. Highly recommended and I would say it is the best I have even eaten among all other nuts bar

    This protein bar was so good as an afternoon snack. It kept me full till dinner. I can taste the coffee from the first bite. Its not too strong and i can taste the chocolate and crunchy bits in it. I love that it contains protein to keep me going when i am craving something sweet.

    I absolutely loved the flavour and texture of these. I’m always on the go between kids, uni and volunteering I never really sit and eat or take breakfast so these nice and natural deluxe protein bars where perfect for my lifestyle. Besides the great taste the added protein benefit is a huge win

  • Nice but very sugary

    I liked the texture of these bars as I find that other protein bars can be quite dense and chewy. The puffs in these make them easier to digest. Whilst the taste is nice, it is far too sugary for my liking.

    This taste was also reflected in the nutrition panel and when I compared it to two other protein bars that I normally eat, turned me off. One I normally have has 1.9g of sugar, another has 2.8 whilst this one has a whopping 9.4g (which is 2.35 teaspoons of sugar). For me, this plus the fact that it is the lowest protein (at 8.3g compared with 11.4 and 13.5 for the others) and that it’s the highest in calories means that I won’t pick it again.

    Pros – good consistency, nice taste albeit too sweet for me.
    Cons – Too high in sugar and calories and not high enough in protein.

  • Healthy Snack for Busy Mums

    I tried it early this morning after my doctor’s appointment. Missed breakfast again and needed a quick pick me up.
    Nice & Natural DELUXE Protein Bars delivered…or should I say, “ate and left no crumbs”. It was filling, satisfying, and guilt free. I felt full after just eating one bar, which helps if you’re watching your sugar and caloric consumption.

  • Easy grab and go option that hits the spot

    Nothing like a snack that feels like a treat but still has that protein boost that helps you keep fuller for longer!

    Flavour wise it’s sweet but not sickly and the mocha twist balances the chocolate nicely. I love that it’s not an overpowering coffee taste!

    Texture wise it’s pretty satisfying, chewy but not too sticky. The almond pieces also give a nice crunch factor!

  • Love the slight coffee kick

    Oh wow, these double choc mocha and almond deluxe protein bars are delicious. They’re so decadent, you feel like it’s a guilty pleasure when in fact it’s a healthy protein packed kinda healthy choc bar. If I have to be a downer, they are a fraction firm, but not enough to stop me from eating them

  • good flavor

    Ingredient wise, on lower side of protein and sugar level comparing to other bars on the market. But if I want to eat healthy, I would not buy it as still too much sugar. Flavour wise it is really good. It’s not too sweet, and has a crunchy taste. The mocha flavor does not tast fake.

    The new Mocha double choc and almond protein bars are the best. So tasty and great for that afternoon pickup. From opening the packaging the smell wafted through the air and was a great treat with a mocha drink to pick me up and get me through the rest of the day.

    These Nice & Natural Double choc mocha & almond protein bars are super delicious. They are a good size and have lots of flavour. The mocha flavour is not huge which I think is better. Good layer of chocolate around it all. I would purchase again. They were very yum.

    Nice & Natural are by far the healthiest and best nut bars on the market , so many varieties to choose from the maple and sea salt being my favourite, there is a flavour combinations too suit everyone in the family making it so easy when shopping and “made in New Zealand” gives my wife and I confidence we are feeding the family a quality product in addition to our nutrition and daily fibre requirements.

  • New breakfast!

    I think I found something I can stomach in the morning! I’ve never been a food for breakfast kind of person but I’ve always loved coffee (I drink too much of it some say) but as soon as I tried this bar with my coffee this morning I almost considered cutting out the drink and just having this from now on. All the flavours go together so well, nothing overpowers each other and the texture is amazing! I love the crunch. I usually hate protein bars but this does NOT taste anything like other bars I’ve tried. As someone who struggles with protein intake and certain textures I’m so glad this exists!

  • Healthy afternoon treat esp if you are a coffee person.

    I tried the Nice & Natural Deluxe Protein Bar — Double Choc Mocha & Almond.

    The mocha flavour isn’t in your face — it’s subtle, which I actually preferred. Paired with the double choc it just works.
    The rice puffs are a highlight for me, they add a proper crunch that most protein bars skip on. Almonds throughout too so you’re getting texture the whole way through rather than just a chewy slab.

  • CHOCOLATE, COFFEE & NUTS – my 3 favourite things!

    Nice & Natural bars have always been one of my favourites to choose as they have many flavours that I enjoy.

    Bars are a great convenient choice for a morning or afternoon snack to satisfy sweet cravings and are also great for an on-the-go snack, as they can easily be grabbed & put in your bag on your way out.

    On a very quick look, these Deluxe Protein bars have 8 grams of protein and all the ingredients are good without any artificial colours or flavours and I‘m sure will taste great too; chocolate & nuts are my favourite snacks to enjoy along with a cup of coffee.

    PACKAGING
    – Easy to open the box with tab up the top & locate/read best before date near the opening.
    – The box is well made and modern looking, which makes it really feel like the product will be “deluxe” and I like that it has the picture showing what the bar will look like … looks like it will be delicious! … so you can see what the bar will look like before purchasing.
    – Has all the info you need to know when deciding to purchase which is easily found and able to be read – brand, product type, product flavour, protein amount, extra info like fibre & no artificial flavours & colours, & then on the back/sides you also find more details; ie a description of the bar, as well as a list of ingredients and nutrition information and where it’s made, etc.
    – Packaging of the individual bar correlates to the box.
    – Bar packaging is easy to open/tear into & its good to see that the actual bar does look like the picture depicted on the box.

    – Bar looks, smells and tastes delicious.
    – Wouldn’t know that it has a layer of dark choc coated in milk choc – can’t really see or taste this.
    – I would probably prefer a few more nuts and less soy crisps, but that’s just a personal preference of mine.
    – Flavour of coffee is quite subtle, this could possibly be a little stronger, but it has the right amount of sweetness and satisfies my craving for a sweet treat.
    – Overall flavour starts to get a bit rich by the end of the bar, so you couldn’t have more than one bar, but you wouldn’t want to anyway as its more of an indulgent protein “treat”.

    As always, the bar hasn’t disappointed and I’ll continue to purchase from this range … another flavour to add to my list of favourites to make the purchase decision even harder!

  • Great mid afternoon snack!

    These are a great mid afternoon snack to get me through the afternoon at work! My teenager approves of them too – asking if I can buy more already. For someone that is very health, fitness, and protein focused that is a great compliment, and something I will keep in the cupboard for him!

    The Nice & Natural protein bars are super yummy! I have never eaten a more delicious protein bar and the texture is amazing. The coffee taste is understated and smooth and the crunch of almond is perfection. Definately going to be a staple in my household. I 100% recommend ♡

    This deluxe mocha and almond protein bar is surprisingly tasty for a protein snack.   • Crunchy protein bars

    Love how these bars are so crunchy and have dark chocolate taste. I believe these ones have a little more sugar than others but good for a cheat day! Good thing is that this one isn’t too dry and is crunchy, comes in separate packets which are easy to carry and eat on the go.

  • Delicious and decadent

    I have always loved Nice & Natural Bars especially the Deluxe ones. I buy them regularly. They look and feel so grown-up and with 8 grams of protein, they are very satisfying. For that reason, I have to hide them from my teens, LOL! I love this new mocha flavour. The chocolate is thick on the outside and chewy to bite into. These inside is crisp and crunchy, filled with all the goodness of almonds, peanuts and soy crisps. Although they look like a naughty treat, they are definitely not. With only 183 calories per bar, no artificial flavours or colours and a HSR of 2, this Double Chocolate Mocha will definitely be in my shopping trolley next time.

  • Blown away

    Wow how is something this good, so high in protein? The flavour is unreal with the most amazing soft chocolate and crunch from the almonds. I will definitely be grabbing these as my go to snack, they are very moreish. So affordable as well and very low calorie for a midday snack

  • Tastes good and not too sweet

    Some poretin bars are extra sweet but this is just perfect. Texture is perfect that you can bite easily into it. Contains a bit of rice crispies which adds to the texture. It tastes really good too! Some protein bars you just end up feeling nauseous after eating the entire bar but this one is really light but still gives you some protein.

  • Satisfying snack

    Nice and natural double choc mocha and almond bars are a great choice for a pick me up snack. Personally, the mocha over-powered the chocolate taste, but the texture was good and not too hard to bite into. It has the added benefit of a good source of fibre and protein.

  • Satisfying snack

    If you’re craving for a sweet afternoon snack, Nice and Natural double choc mocha and almond bars are a good choice. Personally, I don’t really enjoy a coffee taste, so for me it was not chocolatey enough being more on the mocha side. However, the texture is really nice and the bar itself was satisfying and filling.
