Review: Aptamil Gold +3 Toddler

This toddler milk milk seems to keep my active son fuller for longer and he really enjoys the taste, I also have noticed it hasn't once upset his stomach in any way which used to happen regularly with other brands.

I’ve definitely had our fair share of trials and errors with different toddler milks (being a Mum of 5) until we came across Aptamil Gold +3 It’s gentle on their tummies, mixes well and is the only toddler milk my babies haven’t had constipation issues with.It’s honestly the best toddler milk for our babe on the market. Love that Nutricia is a well trusted brand and our babe is getting the best with all the vitamins and minerals it contains.It’s a big yes from us and we highly recommend you give it a go!

I was very excited to trial this. My one year old has always been very fussy when it comes to milk and lately over the last 2 weeks, has just refused her night feeds all together with no reason. I had seen this product on the shelf before so I’m glad I got the chance to try. Upon reading the information on the tin, I immediately knew this was going to be full of nutrients to support my daughters health. It looks premium and the information on the pack aligns with how I thought this would be. It is on the dearer price point in comparison to other brands but worth it in my opinion for the ingredients if my daughter will drink it. On first attempt, my daughter immediately knew it was a different taste and not her usual milk that she refuses to drink at night. She drank half the bottle which was surprising. I wasn’t sure if she had liked it based on that but I’m glad she drank something! Stuck to my guns and tried it again day 2. We are now day 6 of trying the milk and she has been drinking 90-95% of the bottle every night since!! Thank you MoMs for giving me my sanity back. I’m beyond happy she is drinking and enjoying it, while getting all the nutritional benefits to support her. She is happier throughout the day with more energy and I would absolutely recommend this and will be repurchasing!

The kids love it! They’ve been enjoying it chilled on the warmer Brisbane days but happily drink it warm too. So quick & easy to make. It can be a challenge some days making sure independent toddlers get enough nutritious food to eat so the milk takes a little pressure off.

We love the Aptamil Gold+ 3 Toddler formula by Nutricia. It’s definitely a well trusted brand for us as it’s the only formula that hasn’t caused our child constipation, it’s gentle on their tummies & still contains an incredible amount of vitamins & minerals. Love knowing my babe is getting the nutrition support he needs. It has a great consistency & mixes in well with no lumps. We highly recommend everyone tries the Aptamil Gold+ range!

I would rate Aptamil Gold +3 Toddler a 5. We love it as it is great tasting, easy to prepare, easy to carry around, not constipating, and very healthy for my baby. Would continue to buy, although I wish it was a little cheaper.

Well I know it may seem like such a simple thing, give your toddler some milk but have you ever met a toddler. My little one can be so fussy and I have found that with some toddler milk she just won't drink it or if she does she never wants it again. I tried this one and I knew instantly it was a winner. Pretty sure the pretty coloured tin sold it to her but from the first sip she smiled and me and kept drinking and once done she just said more so if you have to convince anyone it's a good product it's them and the little one's have spoken. Very happy with the product, it has good nutritional value and it mixes really easily to a great smooth consistency. Absolutely happy to have tried Aptamil Gold +3 .

I have tried a few different toddler milks and i am always looking which covers the best amount of key vitamins. I have found this to be the most for this age group. I transferred my daughter across to it from her other toddler milk, and i had no problems, she didn't mind the flavour and her stool was still the same, no constipation which was great!! Although it is a little more expensive then other formulas, I feel with the extra key vitamins, it's worth it! I certainly will be buying this again.

After we received this product, I start giving it to my son whose turning 2 years old next month. We have no tummy issues and he sleep pretty well at night. Unlike other toddler milks, he becomes constipated and keeps crying at night. Aptamil Gold 3 plus is well suited for my son’s need.

This is amazing! I found my little fussy toddler wanting more of it. The taste is great and knowing my child is getting the nutrients he needs in just one bottle is piece of mind. Aptamil is a brand I trust and have been using for all of my four children throughout the years. I was first introduced to Aptamil just after my first baby was born when he needed ‘top-ups’ before leaving the hospital. I remember also at the time leaving the hospital and trying other brands but none compared to Aptamils superior quality. Aptamil Gold +3 Toddler is a product I’ve fallen in love with and so has my youngest. The powder mixes well and doesn’t leave clumps of solid at the bottom of the bottle, has a creamy texture which my youngster enjoys and it contains a long list of vitamins and minerals to help support my baby’s immune system- so I know I don’t have to worry whether by baby is getting what he needs daily.

My 20 months old son is having some indigestion with the previous formula we’re using. We’ve been trying the Aptamil Gold 3 toddler and he loves it. We are still loving this toddler milk even at the end of the tub. About time to buy some more, and this will be top of the list unless there are specials on others but this toddler milk didn't cause any upset stomachs over here and our princess enjoyed drinking it. Not sure on the gut health claims as the evidence on gut health is very limited at the moment.

Our little man is always on the run and full of energy but sometimes I worry that he isn't getting enough vitamins and minerals thru his food intake so when I saw this drink to trial, We were excited!!!. At first, he screwed his face up and refused to drink. After a few days of still offering he started drinking and loving this milk substitute. So smiles all around from our family. I feel really good giving him this and am now mixing his potatoes and breakfast with Aptamil Gold +3! He has been much happier and I'm feeling better giving him a drink full of all the good stuff to keep our boy healthy.

My boy has tried a lot of drinks and being fussy he settled for 2 or 3 of them. Aptamil Gold +3 being one of them that he liked and continues to drink. So I would give a thumbs up for this product and would say that you must give a try to Aptamil Gold +3 if you have a fussy kid like mine.

I must admit I would never have tried this brand without the generous opportunity for mouth of mums because it just isn’t that well known in our circle of mums. The milk arrived this week and looking at the ingredients and nutritional value, I feel very safe to give this to my toddler as a nutritional supplement on top of her usual diet. The milk is very easy to prepare and smells delicious. The toddler who is usually fussy did not reject it and asked for more serving. We would be definitely buying more in the future.

My toddler loved the flavour and had a nice smell, not like other brands. Full of vitamins and easy to measure out. Overall a great product for toddlers that need that little bit extra nutrients.

This product has been fantastic for my little girl of 14 months. Z wasn’t too sure about the taste to start with as she’d come from using a goat milk toddler milk. Now she loves it. Sometimes she finishes her bottle and wants more. She’s just been having a little trouble pooping with the changeover but once her stomachs adjust I think she’ll be fine.

This product shook from powder to liquid with ease. No clumps, none stuck to the side of the bottle. Great and easy scoop size. My little one absolutely loved it! Thanks, mouth of mum’s! We may be converted to trying this again!

I really liked the Aptamil Gold +3 as it keeps me worry free with a fussy eater. My daughter is a fussy eater and that keeps me constantly worried about her nutrition intake as she may not be having enough nutrition rich food throughout the day, she loved her milk though. So, I use supplements instead of normal store bought milk. She loved drinking Aptamil Gold +3 Gold and said that it tastes good. It was easy to make too, there were no lumps when I made it, including using water at room temperature.

I have been using this toddler milk for my very constipated and fussy toddler and it helped keep her bowels in control I see her finishing her bottle which she never used to do previously. It provides her with all the essential nutrients and even fills her up so I am at ease when she gets her bottle every time.

I start to give this milk with my toddler 2 years old. They have colds that time i boost and give them this milk 2x a day plus food and they recover faster and appetite is good so amazing.

My toddler loved trying this new toddler milk drink. She usually drinks a different brand and is actually quite fussy when it comes to her milk but she drank it straight down without a moment's hesitation. Aptamil Gold +3 is easier to find at the shops than the usual brand I buy which is amazing. It was very easy to prepare and resolves in hit as well as cold water. The ratios are easy to remember too which helps a lot.

My little one has just turned 2. He never took to a dummy and the only comfort he has is sucking - only it’s still a bottle at night. We had previously transitioned him to cows milk, but there are times his intake is less than ideal, especially when is unwell. I have found that he really enjoys the taste of the milk and he is actually sleeping better overnight. It’s a product I will continue ie to buy until he gives up his night time bottle.

My toddler who is normally fussy really enjoyed the taste of Aptamil Gold +3 , we tried room temp, cooled and also warm, all were ok but she seemed to enjoy the taste more when it was cooled. As our son transitioned from a full milk diet to food, we still wanted to make sure he was getting all the yummy nutrition and vitamins he needed. Choosing Aptamil Gold +3 toddler by default but by recommendations from our parent friends and mother's group and we were pleasantly surprised. He liked the taste (which was our biggest concern), stayed regular, and seemed to give him that touch of fullness to get him through the transition. Two big thumbs up from us!

My little one loved it since the very first bottle. Did don't have any negative reactions towards it health-wise. I loved how it did not affect his eating pattern in a negative way at all. My toddler daughter and I enjoyed having the chance to review Aptamil Gold +3 Toddler! The tin was easy to open, and I was able to level the scoop - two benefits not all toddler milk tins offer! She doesn't usually like change, but the first time I gave it to her, she didn't batter an eyelid and has continued to enjoy it first thing in the morning ever since. I haven't noticed any negative effects, such as constipation, which is usually my main concern with new toddler milks. I'm confident it is giving her the extra nutrients she needs, some of which might be missing from the solid foods in her diet. Giving her this in the morning gets me some time to feed my newborn without worrying that she will be left hungry or malnourished!

This is by far the best toddler milk I have tried. My son has never experienced constipation or gas like some of the other toddler milks seem to go. It mixes easy and digests well. I would buy this every single time hands down.

Was very happy to trial this toddler milk for my nephew. He is a Down Syndrome child and can be very fussy with his food and toddler milk. Having a fussy eater in the house can make the parents feel a bit stress on a daily basis! I give her a cup of formula in the morning when she's not feeling hungry and barely touches her breakfast! Sometimes I added in a bit of cocoa powder and it's like the little one is having her babycino just like the at a cafe and she would drink it right up!

Aptamil Gold +3 Toddler milk is amazing. My son loved it and it was easily digestable. It didn’t make him constipated, gassy or give him an upset tummy like some other brands I used. I will definitely be using this going forward.

I actually really loved this toddler milk. My son can sometimes leave a fair bit in each bottle but with this one be ended up drinking the full bottle. The toddler milk was super easy to mix with water; didn’t take long to dissolve which is great if you’ve got a kid screaming for their milk. Happily surprised. Will likely buy myself in the future.

My 14 month old took to this with no issues after having a different toddler milk before bed. Mixes easily with the water compared to another one we have tried which left clumps sometimes. Good way to get a few extra vitamins into him daily.

Packaging The packaging is not as aesthetically pleasing as some of the other formulas we have tried. Opening the packages was quite easy and it was easy to follow the instructions. Product The product looked nice and smelled good. My son took a couple of goes getting used to the taste but now he loves it. Overall I would say 4.5 / 5 stars, the only improvement I could see would be around packaging.

My daughter loved the taste of the Aptamil Gold +3 Toddler and I know her drinking this she is getting all her nutritional she needs to help her. As she is a fussy eater. Will deff recommend to other mums and will be buying this brand again

So it arrived pretty quickly and my son was so very excited to taste it and want to have a drink straight away. He was helping me unwrapped from the box. So he liked it but he loves to mix it with his other drinks. Thank you very much Aptamil for letting us have it.

I gave Aptamil Gold +3 Toddler to my child. She had no problem with drinking it. This is great as it has added nutrients and is scientifically researched. The added zinc, vitamin B6, and vitamin B12 for immune system function keep her nourished as she is a fussy eater. Will begin to buy this in the future.

Very impressed my son enjoyed the Aptamil Gold +3 milk without any worries at all. Its nice to know its packed full of nutrients to support his wellbeing

Very good and great product

I give this toddler milk as follow up toddler milk to my son, and he has no problem with the flavour. It's so good to see small travel size option on the shelf which makes small trip lot easy. The well nutrition toddler milk give me peace of mind that I know my loved one get what he need to grow. It's a little bit pricy, but I still think it's a good option.

Not a bad older kids formula but my older kids didn't seem to like the taste my 2 year old on the other hand thought it was pretty good, easy to make and packaging looks great

I liked how easy it devolved into the water and it also seemed to be a finer powder than my normal brand. My toddler seemed to be happy with the milk and had no problems. So its a win.

My little man has been on his regular toddler milk for quite some time now but after reading about and receiving the Aptamil Gold +3 I was ready to try it out. It contained a large list of vitmions and nutrients, mixed eailsy and is widely available. He was hesitant at firstbut after a few bottles he grew accustomed to the taste and seemed to enjoy it. He was finishing all the bottle after the first week and it did not upset his little tummy which was a concern initially. Happy to recommend and will purchase again in the future

It’s been easy to digest and liked by our toddlers. There have been no disruption to their sleep and no belly issues. Based on taste and like-ability we would use it again but the scoop is not convenient to use so it would be a first choice product. The scoop handle is below the top of the scoop which makes it hard to handle.

My two-year-old daughter has been super fussy with eating lately and barely eating at all! She has been smashing down about 3 bottles of Aptamil Gold a night! Aptamil Gold dissolved very easily into the warm water, without leaving any lumps behind. The consistency wasn’t too thick or gluggy so it was easier for my girl to drink. I love how it has added iron in it as I know, first hand, how quickly your iron reserves can go down and become so detrimental to your health. The only downside to this is that my daughter seems a little constipated, but then again, it could also be from her fussy diet. Looking back over the tin, it says not to have more than 4 x 100ml a day where she often has 3 x 250ml a day! Well, that would explain a lot! I think I’ll dilute her bottles a bit to hopefully help with constipation. Fingers crossed!

This was a delight to try. With my fussy toddler. I opened it hesitantly and then tried a small sample for the young man. Went down a treat. No stopping him now.I now have many people - friends and family trying this. I informed the doctor that I would not be stressing out as much as have been in the past few weeks.Life will be a breeze for me for now on. My girls loved the taste of this toddler milk, but it seemed to constipate her. The tin and scoop are also so messy to get the toddler milk out.

I believe the Aptamil Gold +3 to be an excellent product, it mixes easily which is a huge plus but unfortunately my fussy toddler won’t drink it. I am now trying fun ways to encourage her (like having a tea party etc) and I am hoping she soon will get used to it and have it daily. I will continue on as I believe it will be a huge benefit to her as she is a fussy eater.

I was lucky to be picked to trial the Aptamil Gold +3. Unfortunately, my child didn't like the taste at first and took multiple attempts of offering, after a while, she came around and took to it!

Wow. So my little man wouldn't touch toddler milk and I went thru so many and he refused all of them. But not the Aptamil Gold +3, he took the bottle, he drunk the bottle and I found he even slept better at night.Thankyou for allowing me to test and review this product I will be buying again and recommend omg to friends and family

In the absence of a nutrition or science degree I have to trust that the claims made are valid. Nonetheless my toddler enjoyed the toddler milk without complaint, and didn't appear to notice the change from his usual brand of toddler milk. My only complaint is that I have become so accustomed to a certain toddler milk to water ratio that the 100mL to two scoop ratio derailed me a bit, as we usually use 180mL in a bottle of an evening - trivial complaint but an observation nonetheless.

I trust the brand and would hesitate to grab a tin in the future. It’s packed full of all the nutrients and minerals he needs. All in all - a big thumbs up from me and my toddler! Will 100% use in the future!

This product was impressive I have a really fussy food baby but he took to this really well. This is highly unusual for him I was impressed by the nutrients I am now going to buy this regularly and I highly recommend this to everyone

Our aim is to give our daughter Aptamil Gold +3 to start her day right, and to get her system ticking over and working just right.Toddlers can be picky and choosy, so on the days where little Miss only wants to eat a little, I know that she is being filled up with a lot. That makes this mumma happy, knowing that my daugther is getting most of what she needs to grow and develop

I tried some of this with my one year old a few times in the last few days she just doesent seem to like it not sure if she’s used to her normal toddler milk a but wouldn’t take to this toddler milk.

Great size tin, sealed well. Easy to prepare, dissolved well and my daughter really enjoyed it. Creamy too and no gluggy bits. Give me as mum confidence I'm giving my child something nutritious and healthy

We tried this and while i trust the brand and feel comfortable using it, it did not agree with my bub. She became very constipated and gassy and started to wake during the night with discomfort. Once i stopped and went back to her usual she was fine. So its a no from us sorry.

My baby boy Grayson is one of the most fussiest baby's. He did not love this and found it hard to get him to finish it, it's like he likes it to start with but then goes omg that after taste is bad and stops drinking it.So it's good for baby's but not great for my boy.

Loved the clear easy to read packaging, easy open tin, them smell wasn't that of a typical toddler milk , easy to mix, smooth texture,no gritty bits , a great option to increase your nutrients with fussy children and those who need a bit extra, directions were just about spot on, I love that this can be used on its own or supplementing their everyday food

My daughter enjoyed guzzling down her drink, leaving none to spare in her cup. The flavour to us, wasn't too bad, I have tasted better and definitely tasted worse.

Was wondering what to do once my girl was weaned off breast milk so when I got the chance to trial Aptamil Gold +3 gold+ 3 I thought perfect timing. Well, little miss was not having a bar of it in a sippy cup. I tried her bbox straw cup and she was better but then after a few big sips she spat it out.I did end up putting the milk in with her weetbix for breakfast and that was fine so at least i know she can still get a little nutritional value from this mix. I will keep persevering with her but she is a stubborn little thing :)

Wouldn’t be my supplement of choice. Didn’t mix as easily as others I have tried, was fairly watery and Bub wasn’t a fan of the taste. Even when mixing it up, it didn’t look as appealing as some of the other supplements available.
