  • I have now been using the Wiltshire staysharp duo for over a month and a half… I can’t use anything else now haha. They’re very comfortable and considering I have not so strong palms and hands, I find these Pretty Easy to use and very comfortable. The added benefit of not going blunt is so lovely. I just try and be careful since these can be sharp at certain angles. Wash them with water immediately after use to make them live longer than 10 years haha. Go for it mums.

  • These Wiltshire Stay Sharp knives are amazing! The built in sharpener means your knives are sharp every time you use them! I have some older ones and noticed that these new ones have a marking on where the knife blade should go in (I did put the knife in upside down in the older ones I had). So this improvement is fantastic!
    Having the cover also means they’re safer when stored in the drawer.

    Definitely recommend these!

  • I love how they aren’t expensive but still have such amazing quality ! The sharpening cover means they remain sharp after and before every use ! They are super easy to hold
    Made prepping meals 10x easier using the Wiltshire duo set over my expensive knifes I normally use ! Seriously believe they are even sharper and easier to hold also!

  • I have been really, really impressed with this knife duo, especially considering the price point! I have spent hundreds of dollars over the years investing in quality knife sets, however these two knives have been just as good quality as my expensive knives. The self sharpener systems is a fantastic idea; not only does it ensure that the knives remain sharp at all times, but it also protects the knives when not in use. I even found it to work brilliantly on other knives!

    If you’re looking for a couple of knives to use in the kitchen but not splurge big dollars on a large knife set, then this duo is a fantastic purchase. Highly recommended!

These knives cut really well when preparing meals and make my time in the kitchen a breeze.   • I am loving the Wiltshire Staysharp Knife Duo Set. It is helping make life in the kitchen much more enjoyable and quicker. Cutting is a breeze. 2 different knives for different uses cover most things. My husband even likes using these knives.

    The only thing I don’t like is how you get the metal burrs from the sharpening process, so each time you take the knife out it needs wiping quickly, but this is unavoidable. It’s not that bad and still a great product. Would recommend these knives.

  • I was super excited to be selected for this review – not only do I love the brand Wiltshire, but love to cook and bake – so this was right up my alley.
    It’s great that this comes with a clever built in sharpener – I don’t really sharpen my knives like I should so this is a bonus that means no thinking or looking for the sharpener.
    They were both easy to hold (ergonomic), glides to cut whatever I wanted without too much pressure and as these are new, have only been handing washing which is a breeze.

  • As a mum of 2 young boys who would eat watermelon for breakfast, lunch and tea (and everything in between!) it’s always been an expensive time buying pre cut watermelon as I just never had a decent knife or the confidence it was going to be sharp enough to buy in bulk and cut myself! We had my sons birthday party just as our knives arrived and they were incredible! We have used them daily since for a whole number of food items and they have remained as sharp as since we removed from the packet – which might I add was the best packet with its easy to open functionality! We love that the knives can live safely in the drawers with the blade covered that also doubles as its in built sharpener. They wash easy and am genuinely looking forward to bulk watermelon this summer! Thank you Wiltshire for creating two magical knives.

  • I am insanely impressed by these knives! I cut up a fruit platter in record time because everything just cut like soft butter. I’m so used to our other knives being more like sawing through a tree trunk to get it done.

    I particularly love the case they come in which makes them a lot safer to be stored away. Obviously, with the amazing added bonus that they keep the knife super sharp!

  • I’ve held off on doing my review until the last minute as I’ve wanted to test them as much as I can and I am so happy with them!! They are so sharp and cut everything so well. The ease of having a sharpener is amazing, not to mention that it doubles as a cover so little hands aren’t at risk in the cutlery drawer!

  • I really liked these knife. The concept and ideas were great. I really liked how they came in a cover with a built in sharpener. I just wish they were dishwasher safe and a little bit more sharper for those harder foods. I have smaller hands so the handle shape didn’t suit my hand size so it wasn’t easier to hold. My husband also didn’t like the handle shape.
    Overall is a good product with a great concept behind it

  • Anyone who loves to cook would definitely love a good and sharp knife.
    The Wiltshire Staysharp knives come with a cover for the knives which have am built knife sharpener.
    My favourites from this review-
    – Great idea for the knives cover for added safety
    – Genius for having inbuilt knife sharpener
    – Well crafted blade and grooves on the knife.
    – Stylish and durable.
    Cons –
    I did not like the design as when you have a lot of chop your hands start to hurt because of the short handles and not much support for grip. The knives if not cleaned and dried straight away start to form discolouration on the blade sort of rust like.
    Otherwise, really enjoyed the experience of the sharp, fine and crisp cutting of the Wiltshire Knives.

  • These Wiltshire Staysharp Knives are truly superior in quality. My husband and I were actually surprised as to how good these knives are. Here in action is the 15cm Santoku knife cutting through the toughest of tough pineapple! Highly recommend this duo, priced at $46 for the 2, it’s a product I wouldn’t go past at Big W.

  • I’ve gone through knife set after knife set, purely because I’m not one to sharpen knives often (if at all) and they end up completely blunt and dangerous to use. This set, is genius!!!!! For one, I keep my knives in a drawer, so the fact that it has a cover, is already a bonus for when I stick my hand in to grab a knife quickly without so much as a glance. And then without the need of a built in sharpener?! That in itself is a godsend for lazy people like me! Lol
    Though I should mention, a quick wipe before using each time is necessary to wipe off little metal bits from sharpening

  • I have now been testing these knives out for a while and I have to say they are on another level compared to my old ones. The quality is fantastic, they slice through soft tomato without squishing them at all, cut sandwiches and rolls without any effort, cut up fruit and vegetables easily and wash up great. The built in sharpener is excellent, super easy to use and I love that everytime they get washed, put away and pulled out the for the next use they are as sharp as the first time I used them. I am quite picky with knives as is my husband and we have been beyond impressed. We will be buying more to replace all of our current knives!

  • These knives are great.
    They are amazingly sharp, easy to hold and use and don’t feel heavy or clunky.

    I’m not the best chef but these helped me to get a really fine dice, to debone meat and to whip up quick fruit trays and veggie medleys in seconds.
    I love these knives and will slowly replace my knife block with these knives.

  • I don’t usually get excited over knives but these are so good!!! They are light and easy to use, the blades are super sharp and I was able to get a nice fine chop with very little effort.

    The case with inbuilt sharpener makes it feel like a new knife each time you pull it out and also protects it whilst being stored.

    These knives easily cut through meat, watermelon skin, frozen mango and helped fillet a fish. They are extremely versatile and are so nice to use, even my partner wanted to help chop things for dinner just so he could have a turn and he never helps….like ever!!!

  • The Wiltshire stay sharp knives really do stay sharp. The ergonomic grip makes it easy to hold for cutting and slicing and are a gem for food prep. I used the 15cm Santoku knife for slicing chicken and beef and the 13cm utility knife perfect for every day use such as slicing fruit and veggies. I highly recommend this duo, easy to use, clean and safe to store in the in-built sharpener.

  • To say I am shocked, would be an understatement. I am incredibly impressed with their sharpness, they have been used on regular rotation and the way it maintains it’s edge and the ease of cutting is something I never thought it could do.
    I favour these knives over my current knife block and whilst my chef husband maintains their edges, I am so glad I scan use these knives and just know they will do the job I need it to do!

  • I pitted these against my faithful (but un sharpened) Baccarat set and against my ‘back up’ Ikea set.
    They slayed the IKEA set and came up well against the Baccarat.
    I probably wouldn’t use them for sushi, but they’re great for basic kitchen use. Would recommend!

  • I pitted these against my ‘old faithful’ Baccarat knives and against my Ikea backup set.
    They absolutely slayed the IKEA and we’re probably on par with my (unsharpened) Baccarat knives.
    They do all you need knives to do (bar super professional sushi cheffing!) and keep THEMSELVES sharp, which is the biggest bonus.
    Would definitely recommend for basic kitchen use!

  • They arrive sharp and they stay sharp! Loving my new Wiltshire Staysharp Duo Set which consists of a 15cm Santoku Knife and 13cm Utility Knife. I think that its super clever that the knives get stored in a holder which doubles as sharpener too. I struggle to keep my cooking knives sharp so this is a brilliant idea.

    Being that its self-sharpening every time you insert your knives into the holder means that you have a sharp knife the next time you go to use it. This makes chopping, dicing, slicing so much easier. The knives are slim and feel nice to hold and use.

    No more blunt knives in my house! Would recommend to get some for your Kitchen too. You will not be disappointed.

  • After testing the knives out for a couple weeks now, I’m still enjoying my Stay Sharp Wiltshire knives. They are my go to knives when I’m chopping in the kitchen as I find they make it easy to cut through things. I would recommend these knives to anyone looking at buying a new knife set, as these also have a built in Sharpener in the lids which is a bonus.

  • We’ve been using the Wiltshire Staysharp knifes, and to be honest they aren’t quite bad! The handle is comfortable to hold, making cutting easy. It’s good it comes with the sharpener case because when it’s in the draw you won’t cut yourself (if that’s where you keep knifes!) and it’s always sharp because of the sharpener in the case!
    We are going to be putting these into our camping kit as we don’t need to worry about where the knifes are when rummaging through the cutlery box and cutting ourself’s or taking a sharpener! The case keeps the knife secure inside which makes it a much safer option, especially for camping!

  • I was pleasantly surprised with how sharp and easy to use these knives were. I could easily fillet chicken into thin pieces or slice roast beef.
    The sharpening sleeves that the knives are kept in are super convenient and mean I can still keep these knives safely in my utensils draw without fear of getting cut.
    I would highly recommend these knives!

  • I’m fortunate enough to get the opportunity to review Wiltshire Staysharp Knife Duo from MoM.
    I’m not a fan of the packaging. It’s difficult to open and tough to recycle. On the other hand, Wiltshire has put very clear instruction at the back of the paper that comes in the packaging. You must be careful when putting the knives back inside the scabbard, never put them upside down. Otherwise there’s a chance you can’t take it out without damaging it. It’s great that it has self-sharpening technology inside the scabbard, a guarantee that the knives will always keep sharp when you’re going to use it, and with the scabbard, I can keep the knives easily in my drawer without fear of cutting my fingers when digging into a full kitchen drawers. The knives feels solid in my hand, very sharp and easy to use to dice beef, debone chicken, slice vegetables and peeling fruits.

  • Have been using these knifes for a couple of weeks now, and have pretty much replaced my whole knife block! Saves time and is convenient knowing I’ll have a sharp cut every time I use them! Have only had one mishap where I put the knife back in the holder the wrong way whilst in a rush, and was difficult to get out safely, perhaps the design should avoid from letting this happen.

  • Are not my favourite things to do, I just want to skip to eating! But wait, I’m a mum.???? So I do them anyway for the family because 1.) Fruits won’t be eaten if I don’t cut or slice them. 2.) Saves us money than buying strips or diced meat.

    I’ve been given these @wiltshireau Staysharp Knives by @mouths_of_mums for review and I must way they STAY SHARP. It’s like having new Knives everytime! Thanks to its built-in sharpener, it self-sharpens with every use. They make my job so much easier! I actually enjoyed making a fruit platter the other day.

  • This is a fantastic looking knife set and more than that, they’re incredibly functional & thanks to the self sharpening system, always sharp & ready to be used!
    The set offers great variety in knives & while I do prefer a little more weight in my knives, this set is well worth the money.
    The feature I love the most has to be the knife sleeves that ensure there’s no sharp edges out when little hands go roaming in the kitchen drawers.

  • The Wiltshire Duo Set are great knives to use. They can be used for any cutting job in the kitchen. They cut well and are always sharp which is an added bonus.   • So being a stay at home mum, it’s safe to say I’m always cooking and need good knives in the kitchen.
    These Stay sharp knives by Wiltshire are that and more. They are easy to use, safe when not in use (in case little hands are around), work great and cut everything so easily from fruit to meat and always stay sharp!
    It’s so great to not have to think about having an extra tool for sharpening when it is inbuilt in the product.

  • Wiltshire, a brand trusted for excellent quality and performance. And WOW! They DO live up to my expectations. I love the safety storage cases which are also built-in knife sharpers. The self-sharpener allows for precise cutting each and every time you use it. The knives have a good weight to the handle which are comfortable to hold and manoeuvre. The blades are incredibly sharp as I have discovered. They effortlessly slice, dice and chop through fresh, frozen, crunchy, soft and firm foods neatly with minimal force and fuss. The blade indentations help to prevent foods from sticking. The STAYSHARP knives in this set serve different purposes. In unison, they make food preparation light work. A pleasure to use! I don’t need for any other knives whatsoever. Together, STAYSHARP Duo and I are an excellent team! Convenient, versatile, a match made in the kitchen. I actually look forward to preparing food with Wiltshire.

  • I have been using the Wiltshire Staysharp Duo Set for 2 weeks now, and so far, so good. I would love to see how they wear being sharpened after every use, but I’m happy to know I won’t be stuck with blunt knives! The added bonus of the covers, is that I can reach into the drawer and not worry about cutting myself on a knife! Probably the only downside is that the markers that tell you which side the sharp end needs to be inserted is quite small so I have to make sure I pay attention when putting them away. All in all, I’m really enjoying these knives! They are used daily! (My poor knife set is sitting on the bench, untouched and glaring at me!)

  • Let’s start with the packaging. Not a fan of the plastic but very impressed with the perforated opening at the back. So much easier and safer to open. At first use, I didn’t find them super sharp, however, the more I used them, the sharper they became. Meal prep is a breeze. Sliced through tomatoes with ease. Easy to hand wash, dry and pop back in the holder.

    My only criticism is that twice I have managed to insert the smaller knife in upside down and it took great effort to get it back out again.

    Overall, affordable good quality knives.

    The green end looks really cool and stylish
    There are two knifes and one is good for fruits and the other one is good for meat.
    They are really sharp and they got the sharpener attached. One cut and my meat is sliced! Save time and energy from cutting anything with these lovely knifes

  • I paid $9 for the smaller knife from Woolworths on special, great and easy to use, and very budget friendly, the keep sharp is an excellent idea as it kind of acts like a security measure for the knives so that the little kids can’t easily get them out and harm them selves. My mum had some of these brand knives for years and she was very happy with them. Great quality product at a great price

  • I bought one of these from Woolworths as all my knives were dull and not sharp, they were on special that week and I thought why not. They are very well worth the money, stay sharp and easy to use. Great low cost but very good quality knives.

  • We remembered these from our childhood homes and was great to try them again. They stayed sharp with the constant sharpening in the case which is such a great idea. Only down side is you need a big drawer to be able to store them as the case is bulky. I found these to cut quite well, and I tried them on numerous veges and meat to really put them through the test. I did find tomatoes and beef were not as easily cut through but things like cheese, onions, were no troubles at all. Overall a 4/5 from trialling them – happy to have them.

  • These knives are a game changer! They stay so sharp! They are easy to use and clean and the sharpening case is such an innovative idea! I have tried them on so many different foods, cheeses, watermelon, veges, meats etc, and haven’t had any issues cutting anything I have tried! I will definitely be getting some more of these knives for my kitchen!

  • I was so excited to trial these knives and upon acquiring them and first use I was surprised at how easy they were to use, especially the utility knife. I’ve used them for a few dinners now and after washing they go back in their sleeve and come back out as sharp as the day I got them. It is definitely making meal prep easier and more efficient. Even hubby has had a chance to use them, slicing tomatoes with absolute ease. They are definitely an asset to have in the kitchen!
