I have alredey tried the tinted sheer sunscreen of sunsense but i didnt feel it to b sheer enough to be worn under makeup so wanted yo try spf as my skincare routine rather than something related to makup… it appears 5o be very good for ur health… longterm effects…

Remember to toss out any old sunscreen that is out of date as it won’t be affective. I trust SunSense to protect my family. I’ve had a melanoma so it’s important to me to have good protection.

It’s coming to that time of year when it warms up and we go outside more. Having had skin cancer I’m very aware of the importance of skin protection. SkinSense is easy to use and comes in a range of sizes and types to suit everyone. I find the spray bottle easiest to use but I guess that’s just personal preference. Make sure you toss out old sunscreen that has gone past its use date and protect yourself.

I use other products from the same company such as QV wash and cream, as they don’t irritate my sensitive skin. I was happy to see they had sunscreen as well. I’ve found it great for the whole family and have now started using the daily face (pictured) for when I go to work. No problems with my skin and it feels natural. Will keep on buying.

I use SunSense Ultra SPF 50+ Sunscreen every day, I have a large on in the laundry so I remember to put it on each day and I have a tub in my purse. I find it awesome and I would highly recommend it. It does sting your eyes when you sweat.

Living in Queensland it is so important as a mother to make sure my boys are well covered out and about! A good sunscreen is an absolute must! Sun sense is a great trusted brand, one that I would definitely recommend!

This is the only brand I trust for my family to use. The roll on is handy for your bag for quick and easy application especially on the children. We used this in Queensland just recently as we are from Melbourne – typically the Queensland weather is stronger than we are used to. Provided we used followed the Application instructions we did not have any issues. Not too greasy either and quite easy to rub in.

My family uses sunsense alot, with 2 active children god knows we need it. We tend to sway more towards the the spray pump as its easier to apply. I was really relieved to see my sons preschool uses it aswell for the children playing outdoors.

For a while now I have used SunSense products to protect my family. I love the range available which makes it suitable for the whole family. It’s easy to apply and offers great protection. It’s also great for my, and little one’s, sensitive skin as it is fragrance free. My only criticism is that I don’t feel it offers the level of protection it advises so I always reapply more often than recommended.

I did not get selected for this review however I HAVE USED this product and found it to be excellent. It is extremely easy to apply and lasts quite well Of course you have to re apply if you have been in swimming as you do with all other sun screens but this stays a bit longer than others I have tried in the past. I would recommend it to mums of young families as it is not that expensive and quite affordable in fact I have not been selected for a mom review for ages probably because I do not have any young kids at home now they are all adults with their own kids but I am quite happy to do this.

I know that with the 50+ protection my family will not be burnt or blistered my son has fair skin and it is important to wear sunscreen preferable 50+ sun sense as I know I’m giving my family great protection against the sun.

I was at a friends house for the day and as I have had a basal cell carcinoma removed previously I am even more careful of the suns rays. We spent quite a while outside but seeing how she had plenty of sunscreen on hand I was not overly concerned. She had the 500ml pump bottle of SunSense Ultra 50+ and I found this sunscreen pleasant to use. The pump dispensed adequate amounts, enough to rub into the skin and I found it did rub in well, without an overpowering fragrance. She also had a tube of Ego SunSense SPF 50+ daily face cream, its a moisturising SPF50+ broadspectrum sunscreen for the face and neck and it is light and soft on the skin, it has an oil free base and a sheer tint and it gave a nice matt glow. I did find these products wonderful how ever seeing how we own a pool and go through huge amounts of sunscreen I prefer my regular Cancer Council Brand. Cancer Council also have a 1 ltr pump container and it is very economical. Also I love the idea of supporting The Cancer Council and knowing that sales help fund cancer research, patient support and education and also the fact that I am more comfortable with a product from them.

SunSense has a great range of sunscreens to suit everyone. It’s good to have the larger pump bottle for the family and handy to have the smaller roll on in your bag as a back up. Good product provides high protection at 50+ SPF and can be easily purchased at most pharmacies.

I love the texture of this sunscreen and it is not greasy. The pump pack makes it easy and quicker for everyone to use . The fact that it is SPF 50+ and made and tested in Australia will make me buy this again and again in the future.

Both children had no problems apply their own sun sense sunscreen that fact that you could see where you had applied it until is was all rubbed in was fantastic for making sure not to miss any spots. The pump bottle was really convienent and easy to use the 6 and 7 years old were able to pump out their own product. Would buy in the future.

YES..you read it right. I’m a QV fan…and now Ego does it again…. i just bought the 500ml pump sunsense SPF50+ …I applied it right after purchasing and after 20 mins in the mall, walked back home in the sun….. I did sweat but I’m not itchy on the face . Will use regularly for the next couple of days too…… looks to be a good start. BIngo and once I’ve tested on myself…. bub will also be applying this 🙂

This sunscreen is really good. It’s non greasy feel is the best thing. I have brought 3 roll on bottles. I have put one each in my children’s school bag. I also have one in my handbag which is handy when we are out with the family on hot days

Its a great sunscreen lotion, its not greasy, and is easy to apply. I felt comfortable applying it to both myself and my 18 month old son which is an absolute necessity. We have used it on numerous occasions in the hot Queensland sun and not one of us have been sunburned. The smell is not overpowering so it doesn’t make me ill as a lot of sunscreens do. Overall i would definitely recommend buying this to my friends and family, and strangers! And will be buying it myself when our supply runs out 🙂

The consistency of SunSense ultra SPF 50+ makes it great to apply on children and see that they are properly covered. I used this product on a dozen 8 – 10 year old girls at a netball carnival on a very hot day with great results.

Absolutely love this sunscreen. Easy to apply. Available it different sizes including roll on however the family size is great value for money. Doesn’t leave the thick feeling of sunscreen once it’s applied.
But be weary make sure it’s applied to dry skin as if it gets in the eyes it can sting.

Sunsense comes in a convenient pump that is easy to use for the whole family. The lotion comes out in a great textron that is non-greasy and not too thick or watery. The scent is not overpowering and is gentle enough to use on my daughter that has sensitive skin. The protection is very good. I would recommend this lotion to others.

I did not get picked for the review but I have been using sunsence for over 5 years now and just love it.. not only does it cut the uv rays and also keep skinsafe and moist, does not dry the skin

Does exactly what is says it will. We’ve spent many days in the past couple of weeks at the beach and Theme parks – each time using this product. Its not heavy to wear, its not thick and its not greasy. Provides excellent coverage. Not one of us got sunburnt. A permanent addition to the ‘beach bag’

I love the SunSense sunscreen! This is a fantastic Australian product. The SPF 50+ worked great on mine and the kids sensitive skin. I was really happy with the amount of sun protection I got compared to other sunscreens I have used in the past. I would definately recommend it to my friends and family and I will defiantly be purchasing SunSense in the future as after testing it, I have full confidence on how well it works.

SunSense Ultra SPF 50+ is a must have for all Australian families! As you would expect from a 50+ suncream, if you don’t take the time to spread it evenly and allow your skin to absorb it, you will be left with a thin white film. Apart from this, it is highly water resistant which allowed me to stress less about my daughter having fun in the sun. The pump pack was easy for the whole family to use and made applying suncream less of a messy task!

Sun sense ultra SPF 50+ is great for the whole family! The large pump bottle makes it convenient and great value. I was impressed with the coverage it provided and the consistency, not too thick not too thin, easy to apply consistency.
Make sure you follow the instructions of staying dry for 15 mins after applying, as it stings your eyes!

I tried sunsense on my 4 year old (who has had previous rashes from other sunscreen) and my 10 month old). It was easy to apply with great coverage for a small amount and not greasy. My kids had no nasty reactions to it and were well protected from the sun. The pump pack was great for the bathroom counter as a reminder to apply before going out or in the cockpit of our boat for easy reapplying when out on the water. I think the roll-on would be better to throw in a bag for a beach trip or other day trip.

While the pump Pack for SunSense Ultra SPF 50+ Sunscreen is great, I really like the roll on version. I find that it’s even easier to apply as my toddler who insists on helping so the roll on minimises the mess and gives him a certain amount of autonomy.
The product itself is easy to rub in and isn’t greasy. The 50+ rating is important to me too so SunSense Ultra SPF 50+ Sunscreen is perfect for our family.

My son has red hair and very fair skin, I was delighted to observe no adverse reactions. It’s also easy to apply. I love this brand and we all use it. As a bonus it’s great value for money.

The SunSense Ultra SPF 50+ Sunscreen is a great product in so many ways. Firstly the different sizes it comes in is so convenient, a roll on for the handbag, 200gm tube for the glovebox, up to the large pump pack. Easy to apply, kids can do their own. I found you don’t need as much sunscreen as some brands to cover yourselves, so it is economical. It doesn’t irritate the skin, absorbs well, not sticky or greasy like some other brands. This product will be on my summer shopping list.

Loved the application process, the pump pack made it very easy to use and to re-apply when needed. The sunscreen spread well and wasn’t greasy and offered the maximum protection for both myself, my husband and our baby. Great size pack wasn’t too big and could be taken with us on the go. First and foremost other than sun protection is that the product can not have too strong of a scent. Being a migraine sufferer this is a big plus. The kids (ages 5 & 6) with some help could apply this sunscreen. I like the pump bottle but I think next time I purchase it I will opt for the spray on version for ease of use. Another great plus is that it for the whole family so that I don’t have to carry separate sunscreens for the kids and adults.

I use lots of sunscreen as I am 7 years free of having a melanoma removed when I was only 28 years of age. Now I have two small children who could carry the melanoma gene I am cautious about sunscreens I use. I found this product met my expectations. It was easily applied and didn’t leave your skin white as a ghost or feeling greasy. It also didn’t have that terrible sunscreen smell that some have so this was a bonus as I am turned of unpleasant smells. I am happy that it is 50+ and is quite easy for the whole family to use. Another big tick for me it is Made in Australia as love supporting Australian made products. If you haven’t already tried it I suggest you do.

This is the fist time I have brought a pump one before and I don’t know why I have not purchased one before. It makes it so easy as I can leave it by the door and before we go out we just apply the sunscreen and it is simple. No caps to loose and no messy tops. It feels like a thick layer of sunscreen so hopefully the sun will not penetrate through in the hottest part of the summer. so far so good!

While I liked this product insofar as its ease of use, and non-greasey feel or look, I still got sunburnt on my face having only been in the afternoon shade for 15 minutes. I have waited for a long time for 50+ sunscreens to come out (in the USA they talk about 70+ and we get sunburnt all the time, so I’m hoping this number in Australia increases too). I have also used the tinted sunscreen by SunSense, again 50+, but it doesn’t really leave a visible tint, so for me, I still use a foundation over the top, as I was hoping the tint would mean I wouldn’t have to use foundation for the summer! But like a lot of things, how or if this product works, depends on how it is used, as much as the user. My skin is pale, and I burn easily, so for me, this product sounded great in theory, it just hasn’t worked as great as I thought it would.

I took my sun sense sample to a family bbq so we could all give it a try!
The general consensus was that it was easy to use, and rubbed in well. Everyone that used it said they would use it again. The only negative is that it gave one of the babies a rash, but I would think that was a rare instance as the other babies did not react.
I like how it is 50+ spf – that is a very big bonus for me as I am fair skinned! I also like the pump pack as its easy to use and great for families.

We found the product easy to use. It wasn’t greasy and the pump bottle made it easy to use as we were walking out the door. My son has eczema and is very fair skinned and i found that this sunscreen did not irritate his skin and offered great protection for a long period of time. I would highly recommend this product and will look to buying it when this bottle runs out!

As a Mum of two children who love to be outdoors. I found this sunscreen to be a great product, from the protection of 50+, the easy to use pump pack, easy to apply & spread over the skin, the fact that it’s fragrance free is great. No sunburnt bodies is this household anymore!

We have tried lots of different sunscreens and stumbled across this one day, it is great it’s a great price, is super easy to apply unlike some other brands and has a really high spf rating which is the most important thing. It lasted well with swimming I would highly recommend to anyone. After convincing friends and family to try it out they are all on board, we will def buy the sunscreen again and I cannot wait to try other products in the brand. Also work noting for me I tend to avoid putting sunscreen on my face as it gives me pimples this didn’t do this which was fantastic as it meant my face didn’t get burnt

After using the Sunsense Ultra SPF 50+ product on my three children (3yr daughter & 22mth sons) and myself for the last week and a half I have found the product to be easy to apply, non greasy and gives great protection from the sun. My daughter suffers from mild eczema and this product did not cause any flair ups. The pump pack is very handy, although the sunscreen is a little bit runnier than other products I have used. I would probably go with the spray bottle if I was to buy this product in the future as there would be less wastage (ie. Pumping out too much and then having to spread it all around). I found the product gentle enough even to use on the children’s faces too.

Thank you for allowing my family to trial Sunsense Ultra SPF 50+ Sunscreen. We have just returned from a weekend away at the V8 Supercars … it was hot & there was no sun protection where we were positioned. Sunsense was our life saver. I’m a big fan of the sunscreen but not a huge fan of the pump nozzle – as an on the go family we just need something easier to seal/close. Thanks again … I’ll definitely purchase the product again, just in a different package.

Sun sense ultra came in a fantastic pump pack and with 7 children this is so important for ease of use. It applied quickly and easily and worked well. It wasn’t too greasy and had a pleasant fragrance.
I would definitely buy this product again in the pump pack, and a smaller tube for the nappy bag. Would highly recommend.
