  • What a fantastic product, so simple & convenient to use. I wish I had this before, instead of using the chemical products that were awful & so messy to use. The V-comb A1 is mess free, easy to use & can be used on .multiple children if needed.

  • I have two kids at primary school and one at daycare. Unfortunately head lice is a reoccurring issue for us, and the kids hate the usual treatment they have to endure. This device is a game changer. It is so simple to use, and less painful than the traditional method of combining out over and over. It’s great that you can see all the nasties caught in the bag. I will recommend this to all the school parents!

  • The v comb a1 is such a brilliant invention, my mum is so upset that they didnt have these around when she was raising us six kidsand 4 of us being girls with very long hair. My daughter actually looked forward to me doing her hair for the first time ever, she didnt once complain and we captured ecerything. Just make sure to brush your childs hair before using.

  • This was one of those reviews that I was super happy to test out, but at the same time my worse nightmare. The thought of head lice makes me feel ill in the stomach.

    Before being selected to review the Licetec V-Comb A1 I was actually unaware that anything like this was available. My usual method of removing head lice from my kids hair involved using a nit/head lice removal chemical, hair conditioner and a truck load patience. So being able to use a product like the Licetec V Comb A1 really excites me.

    The V-Comb A1 comes with everything you need to remove head lice. The best part is that is rechargeable, which means you can use it anywhere. It comes in a convenient container which stores all of the parts neatly. The V-Comb comes with some charge, so I was able to get straight to work.

    If I had to describe the V-Comb A1 it would be a combination of a comb and vacuum to remove and suck head lice and eggs into an internal barrel. One button to turn on and off and it wasn’t too noisy. You can hygienically dispose of the internal capture filter without the need to touch it. Simply unlock the main body of the unit, then place over the bin and the capture filter will slide straight out. You get a total of 4 capture filters, but you can purchase these separately once you run out.

    I used this on my 5 year old son who’s hair is short and on my 11 year old daughter who’s hair is shoulder length. I used a brush first to ensure there were no knots in the kid’s hair. They recommend starting from the nape of the neck and going up. The comb has two angle settings, straight and raking.

    With my daughter’s hair I did have to section it off first, then I separated her hair into small sections no wider than the teeth of the comb before passing the comb through. You start as close to the sculp as possible and pass the comb through each section a few times.

    With my son’s hair I just started from the nape of his neck and just worked my way up passing the comb through over and over. The comb easily glided through both the kid’s hair, but the comb did snag a few times and the kids were quite quick to yell out when this happened.

    It was not long before I could see the live head lice moving around trapped in the capture filter. YUCK!!! I could see both the live head lice and their eggs. While this was disgusting to see, I knew the V-Comb A1 was actually working.

    Overall, I think the Licetec V-Comb A1 is a brilliant product for anyone who is after an allergen & chemical free headlice removal system. No matter when my next head lice infestation is, I’m ready thanks to Licetec V Comb A1. Highly recommend.

  • I have tried using different head lice shampoo for my kid but I found Licetec V Comb to be the most effective and safe one to use. Other shampoos have a chemical kind of smell and are unable to immediately kill all lice so you keep on using the shampoo.
    With Licetec V Comb , you can immediately see results by 80% compared to shampoos. You are also saving money with the Liecetec V Comb as you do not need to keep on buying shampoo. What a way to save on money.

  • I really liked this headlice treatment. Chemical free and easy to use. My daughter didn’t complain once unlike when we use the chemical treatments. I think it did a great job getting rid of the head lice. Will definitely use again next time lice are brought home from school

  • Before the V-Comb it was what seemed like endless hair combing searching for the little pests and their eggs with the biggest problem being that there was no one to check Mum’s head and paranoid or not we all know that when we hear that word our heads start to itch. The V-Comb cut the combing time by more than half, capturing the live critters so they couldn’t escape and jump back on and removed the eggs. No more putting gunk on their hair to kill them, washing it out and then combing several times and repeating the process every 3-4 days. I found it best to V-Comb every 3 days for a week, just to be sure, and it only took a few minutes once I got the hang of it. Best part was that if I was feeling itchy I could run it through my own hair and have peace of mind.

  • Wow no mess, no chemicals and so easy to use and the visible results is so great. Just so in love with this comb. We used it a few times and kids got excited seeing the eggs collecting. So very easy to use. Highly recommend as I always was worried to use any chemical based and knowing that the chemical based are flammable gave me a scare to try and couldn’t leave the lice without untreated so was always in confusion. I think this is the best invention and very thankful for it.

  • This comb is a life saver when you have small children. It was quick and easy to use and there was little to no complaining when using it. Would 100% recommend buying one and will definitely be using it again when it is needed in our house. Have even lean it to other people to try so they could go buy one!

  • What a great invention. No more nasty chemicals or plastic waste with this device. It was super easy to use and was very effective on removing both adult lice and eggs. What the vacuum didn’t collect got stuck in the fine tooth comb, which was easy to clean. My only issue it that the little filter bags are not designed to be reused and can be a bit costly if you have multiple heads to treat on a regular basis.

  • The V comb A1 is such a great concept it worked really well on my sons short hair it got the nits out really well he did say it pulled his hair a little so I tried it on my daughter and it wasn’t easy to use on her long hair and pulled alot. I also found the comb felt abit flimsy like it could snap off but hopefully it doesn’t, I would like to see a stronger comb maybe without the option to move it to store and just create a bigger package. Overall excellent product and works very well will recommend to all of my mum friends.

  • My daughter occasionally gets head lice and it’s always freaks me out when I find out she brought it home from school. I have tried couple of products but I have to say that this is the best I have used so far. Easy to use and it’s kind of fun. I got rid off all the eggs after just one use. I wish I had this product before because my life would be so much easier!

  • Our two children have both had nits a fair few times and I’m grateful to be trailing this chemical free product. We have used many different products to try and get rid of the nits and most often they result in one of our children crying from having to have their hair combed or having to sit for a period of time to let the product do it’s job. The Licetec V-Comb A1 was so easy to use straight away and the results were immediate. I love the fact that it came with a usb charger to charge on the go or when the battery dies. It also had additional filters to keep up with the ongoing prevention of nits. Both our children happily sat their well I combed their hair with the Licetec V-Comb A1 and there were no tears! Such a great product and will be recommending it to all our friends who have children go through nits.

  • The v-comb a1 is such a handy tool to have! It’s turned a huge hassle into an easy simple task. My girl hates the liquid treatment that stinks and makes her head itch. The smell would stay around for days too so everyone knows in class that shes been treated. The v comb is so simple so easy and takes as long as simply brushing her hair. I absolutely love this product and cant wait to rave about it tomorrow at mother group.

  • As you comb the V-comb A1 extracts headlice and eggs into a disposable/reusable filter within the unit. Once finished its as simple as twisting the top off of the base and discarding of the nastys captured. I love the fact of how simple and easy it is to use, plus no nasty smelly chemicals.

  • The Licetec V-Comb worked really well on my toddlers short hair. He hates having his hair washed at the best of times, so lice treatment shampoos are a nightmare. This product was simple and easy to use – very effective at getting the big bugs out, but I did find a number of eggs still attached to the hair even after using it. Being able to view the bugs in the catcher was fascinating for my toddler – bonus! It has a really good charge life, too.
    Unfortunately the product wasn’t as easy to use on my older sons long, thick hair. The comb consistently pulled at his hair, causing the hair to be pulled out. That said, the comb worked a treat on his undercut pulling out heaps of bugs…..eeeewwww!
    Overall this is a great product and I’ll be happy to have it in my cupboard ready to use at the next outbreak.

  • Sorry this review is a bit late – my kids decided to go lice free for a few weeks!

    The Licetec V-comb was really helpful to me, and I’d recommend it to other parents dealing with lice.

    First of all, it’s comfortable to hold and use. It’s big enough not to be fiddly, but small enough to be comfortable to hold and move around. Being cordless was a real bonus which made it much easier to work on my kids’ hair. I found it had plenty of charge to work through one child’s hair.

    Secondly, it was very easy to use. It takes a little patience and time to do it properly, but that’s true of all nit removal methods. This was easier than doing it by hand, and after the first couple of minutes, I was confident that it was probably more thorough than doing it by hand. I liked the different angles for the comb.

    Thirdly, my kids didn’t object at all. They thought it felt “funny” – one actually got the giggles – and were happy to sit still for it.

    Finally, the clean up was neat and easy: just release the filter into the rubbish. And I love the neat storage container – so easy to tuck all the pieces away for the inevitable next time.

    I was very happy with this – it made the job of lice removal so much easier. I really liked that it is chemical free, too. I worry about imposing strong chemicals on my kids. The one caution I would offer is that you need to comb your child’s hair well beforehand. The comb is very fine gauge and will catch on the slightest knot or snarl.

  • I used it with my niece who always has issue of lice, this product was very easy to use. It is chemical free so no toxic smell. It is also rechargeable so very handy. Can be used on multiple children so money friendly. Instructions were easy to use but need a bit of praxtice do correctly. All in one good product. Recommended.

  • The v-comb a1 is so easy to use. I Normally dead having to check and treat my girl for head lice. She normally screams and runs away when i pull an egg out, i cant use the treatment as it stinks. Even the ones claiming to have no bad smells! Guaranteed always do.
    I must admit once i turned the v-comb on I thought my girl would do a runner as the sound can be a little shock at first. I was worried avout absolutely nothing! She sat on her chair whilst i combed and checked her whole hair. We only captured a few eggs and 3 big headlice but thats everything that was in her hair. We even picked up sand aswell. It was a breeze to use, works really well and it’s been given the approval from my very picky 4.5 year old. Highly recommend.

  • Lice treatment gets so expensive! Buying it over and over because it either doesn’t fully work through the family or the kids get it again from school. This device is amazing! Rechargable, no chemicals or effort reallt involved. No winging kids getting there hair washed and combed, it’s such a amazing device. Takes no time at all, kids don’t hate it, save me money, works great and recharges. You couldn’t come up with anything better this this is amazing and everyone household should have one.

  • Licetec V comb is so easy to use and the fact that is chemical free was the best part. No more buying shampoos and the comb could be easily recharged. Lol my kid was so excited to see the collected eggs. Personally this is a life saver as someone who always struggles to help kids and sometimes myself from lice infestation. Highly recommended.

  • I admit I was a skeptic about this product and wasn’t really sure but I’m blown away. It was honestly 4 hours between picking it up from the letterbox and using as my LO came home from school with an itchy head. She absolutely hates the treatment tea tree shampoos. She loved this and thought seeing all the lice eggs in the filter was cool. Definitely worth it.

  • Wow! Absolute game changer! I have been an parent for 8 years and this is by far the best thing ever for treating head lice! So easy to use and it actually gets the eggs out of the children’s hair!
    I’ve literally tried every single over the counter chemical treatment you can buy and combs and this is the BEST product I have used!

    Only negative I can say is my 5 year old who has sensory issues wouldn’t use it but that’s all on her. My miss 8 was happy to sit there and let me do it and was fascinated by what we pulled out!

  • We have used several different chemical based treatments before… including ‘sensitive’ or gentle ones – my kids ages 6 and 2 find that process quite traumatic with the smell.

    We recently had an infestation at home and had to treat the whole family. Mess, smell and chemical free – it was a simple and easy process.

    At first I was not sure that the price warranted the device, but as an RN I have spoken to many nurse colleagues and more mothers about the benefits and that the price tag is week worth it.

  • Its really useful, handy and easy to use. Its life saver i must say and totally worth it. I like its easy to use and very useful. I could see a great change and helped me get rid of head lice without too much hassle.

  • For the RRP of this lice comb, I was shocked to see it was just a small fan inside a handle.
    The ‘suction’ isn’t much & I feel I’d get better results just manually combing with a lice comb honestly.
    Although it DID get bits out of my daughters hair, it didn’t get out eggs & only some of the lice.
    I figure just sitting and cutting out hair strands like I did before, is still the best way 🙁

  • This pristine V-Comb A1 has to be a winner! I have longed for a product that truly does “the job!” Also saving time but not sacrificing preciseness and detail. I found this product easy to use, effective and more importantly it did what it was designed to!

  • When I heard that there was lice present at my son’s school I was horrified and did not know how to go about treating it. This product was so good as it was easy to use and even better chemical free. I got peace of mind knowing that I could eradicate the lice so thoroughly.

  • I really liked this headlice treatment. Chemical free and easy to use. My daughter didn’t complain once unlike when we use the chemical treatments. I think it did a great job getting rid of the head lice. Will definitely use again next time lice are brought home from school

  • This is revolutionary! My son was quick to sit still for this and loved seeing the nits get sucked into the barrel! I I could use it anywhere without making a mess and glad I don’t have to have to use the smelly chemicals. A great invention and I can even allow my closest mum friends to try it out. This is a great product to have for your kids.

  • This device is so simple to use, throw away your harsh chemicals, and have extra time to spend with the family as this device is fantastic. It is lightweight and with the enclosed light you can see the nits that have been removed and stored in the bag. Simply Revolutionary

  • I love that this is rechargeable and that it’s allergen-and chemical-free. I think it will come in handy throughout the primary school years and will save me from having to re-buy lice shampoo anytime there is a breakout at the school. Highly recommend!

  • This was easy to use and saved so much time. When you have children with sensory issues with their hair, getting lice is a nightmare for you. This product made this a lot easier for myself and my children. It meant no meltdowns and less time with me touching their hair.

    The fact that I can keep it and use it on my son if the need arises, makes it a good investment.

  • If you are looking for chemicals free and easy way to remove lice -vcumb is your answer. So easy to use- its not to big to hold in one hand, quiet and light. Comes with charging cable, cleaning brush and spare “lice” bag…all packed in carry box. My son was quite excited to use is as he thought I am just cutting/treating his hair with shaver not catching nasty bugs. Highly recommended to all mums (and dads) to get one.

  • Vcomb A1-it must be stand for vaccum comb .I just love it how easy its to use and no messy…no chemicals…no wet hair …no smell and no crying kids…that makes all experience much less traumatic for my little one.
    I like the whole package- nice plastic box with all things in it- cable, brush, extra bags…all easy to find and use. I would recommend to everyone as this can last for long years to go as its rechargeable.

  • Unfortunately I am not impressed at all. The Licetec V-Comb A1 Head Lice Treatment broke after using it only twice, even then, I did not see any visible results. I will be sending it back for a refund

They came for a visit and we where not told they had been battling an infestation for weeks this made us both so cranky but this product will make future infestations a breeze to get rid of in a safe and timely manner without the tears from having to have product placed in their hair all the time!

  • What a fantastic product, so simple & convenient to use. I wish I had this before, instead of using the chemical products that were awful & so messy to use. The V-comb A1 is mess free, easy to use & can be used on .multiple children if needed.
