Review: VGood PeaNOT Butter

This stuff is the bomb!! So impressed. I think this could been really be mistaken for peanut butter! Taste and texture is just like that of PB! I will be buying this for sure as I've found I hard not getting able to make goodies for my kids lunch boxes with PB in it. Now I can! I'm about to start cooking!!

I can not praise this spread enough! The amount of times my kids have complained that they can't have peanut butter at school is ridiculous. They can't taste the difference and even my biggest food critic (Mr 5) couldn't fault it. The texture is that of peanut butter. I love that it comes with stickers too so the kids can use it to reference that their sandwiches do not containing nuts. I will be purchasing these spreads a lot in future! Thank you for a fab product to review.

I can’t thank and praise the innovative person who came up with PeaNOT Butter! All my kids love traditional peanut butter however it’s banned at school and therefore has never been included in their school lunches....until now! With the look and taste of traditional peanut butter, PeaNOT butter s not only tasty, however contains no nasties and is healthy. The only ‘negative’ I would say, is that it doesn’t glide onto fresh bread. I found it kept lifting up off the bread. That said, it’s only a minor thing as to be able to give a peanut butter in school lunches without fear of harming those with nut allergies is a big bonus! Thank you for the opportunity to review :)

VGood PeaNOT butter is just plain DELICIOUS! & there is peace of mind for anyone with allergies. It has a smooth creamy texture & so full of flavour & easily spreadable! With the added fibre, protein & Iron of chickpeas, it's sort of a wonder-spread! We enjoyed the spread with veggie & fruit sticks & had some with sourdough bread. Definitely a staple in our kitchen from now on & we look forward to the many uses of this spread, ie-breaky, as a snack, in all of our lunch boxes & for baking!

Looks, smells and taste like real peanut butter. My children have no idea it’s not real peanut butter.

Yup so it’s got sugar in it but what a fantastic peanut butter alternative!! Great for Lunch box and A very inclusive product for those with allergies. Will buy again for sure. Ole ty of ways to use these too other than just spread on toast !

My son loves peanut butter and would eat it every meal of he could so it was difficult telling him peanut butter toast was out for breakfast. We have a classmate who is super sensitive and anaphylactic to peanuts so any trace affects him. VGood PeaNOT butter ticks both boxes and we really do not taste or notice a difference. In fact, its easier to spread so two thumbs up for the "softness". We've been sharing this little nugget with our fellow classmates

I generated a bit of buzz with my IG posts, lots of people are super keen to try as so many have issues/allergies with nuts. I can assure everyone that it is super yummy and tastes like peanut butter. My husband and son could not tell the difference. Well done!!

I was very surprised with how much VGood PeaNot Butter actually tasted like regular peanut butter. It was very tasty and the kids happily had it as a substitute. and best of all the school approved!

Love the chick pea twist we ate the whole packet in one go, going to buy it alot, crunchy tasty flavour. The 2 spreads great on plain rushkets or toast, smooth and nice flavours. Would recommend for lunch box sandwiches

We liked that this was safer to take to school then normal peanut butter.The kids enjoyed it on rice cakes with banana on top

This spread is great for this family as we have peanut butter lovers here but can only have it when oldest daughter is away. She tried it she said it is something she could get used too. The younger children do not know it is not real peanut butter as have learnt not to tell until they try something. They now know and still like it.

My kids came home from school raving about how much they loved these spreads! They were very excited about being able to take a peanut butter spread to school that wouldn't harm any of their friends with nut allergies. We will definitely be buying more of these, it's a fantastic alternative to nut spreads.

PeaNOT butter is so good no one in my family can tell the difference. It is very yummy and tasty too! This will be a great safe option when worried about friends or family with sensitivities or allergies. Tasted almost identical to peanut butter! Was great on toast. Gave my niece a try who is highly allergic to peanuts and has always liked the smell however she wasn’t a fan but my kids love it and it makes me less worried now that they are eating this around her rather than real peanut butter

We tried these delicious goodies and totally enjoyed them. These chickpea based spreads are so tasty and even my kids loved it. Its good for their lunch boxes and something Mummy approves as its has less in sugar, has iron, fibre and protein. The hazelNOT spread is my all favorite in my sandwich. The best thing is that its gluten free and Nut free. Definitely a healthier choice for my family. Do give it a try and you will love it.

Tastes exactly like peanut butter but without the nuts I would definitely buy this product my son loves it there are so many children with allergies these days and at least with this spread no one has to miss out :)

Great alternative and the kids LOVED it.

Wow! Absolutely great product for whoever invented this. My kids can take something they enjoy eating to school! The consistency of the peaNot butter is just like smooth peanut butter, which is great as this is what my kids prefer. I put the spread in celery and my kids gobbled it up. Just so happy that they can enjoy a peanut butter taste without the nuts!

My daughter who got a peanut allergy can finally try a spread thats peanut-free but tastes like it. She has always been curious and wants to know what it taste like but very scared she would get any reaction. I would safe it’s very safe and we enjoyed it.

A family favourite has been born. This product is fantastic! So delicious and it had the whole family convinced it was regular peanut butter. My kids just want to eat it straight out of the jar but I have to stop them. My youngest is so fussy it’s sometimes so hard to find something he will actually eat. He absolutely loved the taste, he will eat it on sandwiches or on biscuits. It was easy to spread and he likes to help cook (as he puts it). He helped spread it on his biscuit and he was so excited that he could do it. While having a sneaky finger dip.

My kids love this VGood PeaNot Butter. They love it on their sandwiches. We know of children with peanut allergies so I feel better knowing that this peaNOT butter is a safer spread and it is tasty too.

I love VGood Spreads.. Being healthy and having a delicious, creamy taste adds to the pleasure. A teaspoon or two between meals helps to avoid overeating and other snacking. There is nothing like a great VGood Spread and jelly sandwich on days you do not wish to cook. My night snack is often slices of apples or bananas with peanut butter but have since tried with VGood Spreads and its just as good.

A little thicker and a slight after taste compared to brand name peanut butter. Good nut free alternative for lunches. Great to add to sauces and paired with some apples or crackers. Would consider to buy.

As a mum of 5 kids finding healthy food options is a big part of our life this product is amazing smells good looks good amd taste great!! Even better they dont know that its made from veggies like chickpeas yay lol we all know how hard it is for our kids to eat veggies so this healthy option is fantastic i know what im gonna be using from now on.

Although I wasn’t lucky enough to be one of the luck mouth of mum’s parents to receive a freebie for review, I was very intrigued after reading these reviews that I purchased some from the supermarket for my family and I to try. We loved it! It spread on well. The taste was great. It went well with sandwiches, toast, cruskits, ryvita and saladas. Highly recommended!

My son loves peanut butter but gets upset every time I tell him he can't take it to daycare. Sent him with one but he didn't know. He was so excited to come home and tell me about the yummy peanut butter sandwich he had in his lunch box. He even eats it by the spoon full The flavour is great, smooth consistency and easy to spread.

So great that this product has been made. My son was very excited to know it contained no nuts as there will be no risk to anyone at school with allergies. Tasted so creamy and EXACTLY like peaNUT butter. Goes great on a hot piece of toast and it just melts. Big hit in our house!!!

PeaNOT Butter spread is a great alternative!. It is such a great substitute for the peanut butter, I can now pack the peaNOT butter sandwiches and celery and peaNUT butter snacks as before I wasn't able to due to their no nut policy. My whole family loved the spread!. It made lunches an easy option and I felt good giving the kids a spread that was made from healthy chickpeas. I loved using it in my protein/bliss ball recipe that I use peanut butter in! We really can't tell the difference! I would definitely recommend this spread!

My 3 loved this in their lunch boxes. Half a jar is already gone and I’m not mad it’s really really good. Will be looking out for this in the supermarket next shop.

My children really enjoyed both flavours given to use we used it every way we normally would use peanut butter. In cookies in smoothies on toast and even on rice cakes. The kids didn’t notice a slight taste difference but overall there were some great similarities

I am really please with the flavour of these! Whilst not exactly what peanut butter taste like I think they got are really great flavour pretty close to it. I am enjoying this alternative as I have a sister who has a severe allergy and I can feel at peace with my kids lunchbox around her

Great flavour that it’s hard to believe it’s not real peanut butter. It took me 10 minutes to convince my son it was ok to take to school as he really thought it was what I normally buy for weekends

My little one has peanut allergy whereas I love peanut butter. PeaNot butter is an excellent substitute. I just love it. I'm not scared to offer PeaNot butter to my daughter. She has become fan of this product. I love ot too.

So good to finally have a peanut butter on the market that doesn't contain peanuts, so many kids have allergies these days. Ill happily keep purchasing this brand. I enjoy the flavour, its not oily, its not too salty or too sweet. It spreads from the jar with ease and remains easy to spread right to the bottom of the jar. A lot of other brands dry out and become hard as you get towards the bottom of the jar. My kids and grandies eat without an issue. Well done to VGood on such a wonderful creation.

Just tried the hazelnot in our smoothies this morning and the verdict is yum from my kids who are 6 and 3. The 3 year old can be a tiny bit picky but her words were mmm yum can we have this tomorrow

Vgood peanut butter was surprisingly very tasty and tasted very similar to peanut butter !! My kids always want peanut butter in their lunch box so us the perfect alternative !! They also loved it on toast in the morning for breakfast too . I also quite enjoyed on my toast in the morning I couldn't believe how it almost tasted the same !!

This product is so amazing not only is it lunchbox safe to keep all of our friends with allergies safe it also tastes no different to the real thing ! Highly impressed as I thought it would taste fake and abit icky. This spread is great for vegans and any one with allergies ???? If you’re allergic but have always wanted to try Peanut butter I highly recommend these products !!

My 3 kids and I love peanut butter so I was at first skeptical about PeaNOT Butter. However, we all really enjoyed it! You do get a bit of an unidentifiable, slightly bitter aftertaste but no one complained. Even after knowing it’s made from chickpeas, the kids are still asking for more. That’s a win in my opinion! It’s a great alternative to peanut butter if you have allergies.

I feel safe letting my kids bring this to school. No more gulit! Before this, I feel sad not letting my kids have their fav sandwich. Now I need to explain to the teacher how its PeaNot. L o l!

Love it my kids are in love with it so good in taste. I keep it handy for snack time and even picnic play dates. A must have equally liked by adults too!

Pleasantly surprised with the taste. Really tastes like peanut butter. Nice and smooth. Found it really thick though and hard to spread. A child couldn’t make their own sandwich without great difficulty. Almost ripped the toast in half, would hate to see what it would do to fresh bread. Think it’s a great nut free alternative and could easily switch over from peanut butter but the consistency needs to be softened.

My kids both enjoyed the peaNOT butter smooth trial. We've tried alternatives before and both my kids preferred the real deal with peanut butter. However, they both tried peaNOT butter on toast and they didn't blink an eye and polished it off without question or complaint. I love that this can be a spread for me during the mid term where I struggle to find things to put on their lunches. Just to flag that if you have a picky eater or a child who doesn't like to be tricked, they will likely be able to distinguish between the two. I'd be honest and let them know what it is - you never know, they may love it as much as mine did.

I had posted my review and attached photo previously but it’s not showing. I can’t remember what I had written before. This was enjoyed by all as the taste was very similar to a normal peanut butter. Would love to try this in a crunchy version.

This product is a great alternative. Even though my children do not have any allergies I know I need to be careful for school and daycare lunches. This allows them to enjoy a chocolate "nut" lunch spread that is safe. I would not buy this if it was only for home use. The taste is still good though.

These are difficult to find but we tried them so that out little one can still take her nutella sandwiches to kinder, except its the the same taste so was a bust as she didn't like it. I didn't mind it so had this on toast and I might try the peanot butter one next ad I'm allergic go peanuts. Don't like bow expensive it is so maybe I'll wait to find these a little cheaper.

The PeaNoT butter is the best invention for my children to be able to enjoy a safe peanut butter at kinder and school. Took a few goes for me to adapt to the taste but I have had peanut butter for over 30 years as no allergies, but now after having this I’ve made the change! Tastes great.

I am amazed by the ingredients used to make the peaNOT butter. It was very interesting to see that there is different options available from the norm. The kids enjoys their sandwiches . It is a bit dry or difficult to spread on the bread. But for the healthy side of it, it is great.

My daughter loved the peaNot and the HazelNot mixed together, it was a winner for her. Her school and after school care are nut free, so this gives us another sandwich option. Easy to spread and no horrible after taste that other brand have. My son liked his spread on arrowroot biscuits.

It has the taste but does not have the calories and allergens of normal peanut butter. A great alternative. It tastes both good on toast as it does with carrot or celery sticks. It can be also used in cooking and I have added it to cakes and muffins. A truly versatile ingredient.

When I first received it, I’m amazed how it really look like peanut butter. It’s a little thick though so it’s a bit difficult to spread. As for the taste, my god son doesn’t like it that much but for someone who have tasted peanut butter, it’s acceptable as replacement. Also I prefer a bit more sweetness.

I was actually really surprised with how good this tasted and how it resembles peanut butter but without the nuts. I could send the kids to school with peanot butter on the sandwiches and they wouldn’t be able to tell the difference. I would definitely consider buying this and recommending others to buy it as well.

My son loved it but my daughter will only eat it with jam. Great option for lunches with all the allergies ! I myself like it so will eat for lunch. Oh and mixed with the HazelNot Choc it is delicious.

Whilst I don't think it as good as a "Peanut Butter". My kids enjoyed it and I liked the taste.. And the fact that you can put it in their lunch box is a great plus.

Our family are huge satay fans & I was so hoping that this could be an option for us but sadly, my kids weren't fans of this. It didn't quite have the taste of peanut butter. It is a great option & would recommend anyone with a nut allergy to give it a try.

this is a great substitute for peanut butter if you need to go nut free at school/childcare etc. whilst the aftertaste wasnt to my liking, my kids seemed to enjoy it. i think it would work well mixed with other spreads, eg jam or honey, but i found the flavour a bit too strong on its own

My kids tasted the peanot butter, however they were not big fans of this, at first the appeared to like it but that soon changed I think it was the texture taste that it left in there mouth. I didn't mind the taste though. I did give it to my friend though who's daughter has a peanut allergy and they loved it. The fact that they could have Peanot butter in their lunch box for school was amazing. My friend had not heard of this brand so it was great that she is now awear of it. So thankyou for allowing me to review this product.

I quite liked the taste, it’s hard to believe you are eating dry roasted chickpeas. It really tastes like peanut butter without all the additives. I would eat this product on toast or sourdough, also on rice cakes. However my three kids didn’t really take to the u inquest taste.

I trialled Peanot Butter in my class as I support special needs, one with a nut allergy and they all agreed they liked the taste. My three children however didn’t take to it, although I quite like it as a healthy snack on rice thins.

My three children aged 21, 16 & 10 thought this product was very different. My health conscious 21yr old liked Peanot although reverted back to his normal peanut varieties quite quickly. My 16yr old didn’t and won’t eat it and my 10yr old doesn’t normally like eating peanut butter. She tried it once and never ate it again. I work as a support teachers assistant in a special needs unit and my Yr.12 student gave it a ten out of ten. It is handy have in the classroom because of our nut allergy students and when they forget recess or lunch, it spreads nicely on rice thins.

This spread is smooth with a hint of chick pea flavour. I do prefer my peanut butter crunchy so will not rush to purchase this again. I found the PeaNOT spread to be very dense and dodnt quite enjoy it as normal peanut butter. The idea is great for kids who do love a spread which has no nuts so it can be bought to school.

I don’t really like this brand because it just doesn’t tastes as good and the ones I’m used to. It is ok but nothing amazing and definitely wouldn’t buy it again. My kids didn’t even like it. The peanut butter is just way too runny and not very nice.

My kids did not like the taste of PeaNOT Butter, I myself didn’t mind it. I guess they are just used to the taste of peanut butter. I’m sure this would be great for kids with Nut allergy’s.

After trying Peanot Butter in my kids lunch boxes its not really the product for us. The taste was not what the kids are used to but if they absolutely insisted on having a peanut butter sandwich for lunch then its a good alternative

Overall the ingredients are nice (the roast chickpeas and reast sunflower seeds, vegetable oil and sea salt; except the anti-oxidants and the sugar. I don't like to buy peanut butter, peanut butter substitutes, or chocolate spreads with sugar

This Peanot butter is a great option for those with peanut allergies. However for our family we would not purchase for school lunches as my kids did not like the taste of it. I didn't really like it either. Shame because I would have loved to use in the school lunches!

I'm so sorry to say but Peanot butter was not a win for my family. I was really hoping it would be as it would be a great alternative for school lunches. My kids and I did not like the taste at all, it was dry and chalky. I guess for those with peanut allergies this would be great. I don't really like the chickpea flavour. We tried it on toast with margarine but my kids didn't like it.
