We had a great tutor and the customer service at Kinetic Education was excellent. My daughter is in year 7 and enjoyed the English and mathematics. The process is easy from start to finish and the weekly reports show details of all the results and where improvements can be made. Would recommend this service to others.

The time has come for our trial to end and after nearly 6 weeks my kids have enjoyed it, found some parts challenging, but have worked their way through it all, and enjoyed most of it, I have found Kinetic Education great with our Tutor ringing weekly and giving me up dates and helping the kids whenever they have needed it. The work is set out so its easy to understand and if any dramas we can talk to somebody, they found some children with a gap and have helped close the gap so they can understand their school work much easier now.

Kinetic Education came at the perfect time for my family. I had noticed that my two school-aged children had had difficulties in some areas of English and Maths for sometime and I knew that these issues would create further obstacles down the line if they weren’t fixed. I tried my best to help them but I had difficulty trying to find the time for both of them on a daily basis as well as taking care of the rest of my family.

From the first moment I spoke with Kinetic Education I was so relieved with just how easy, confident and streamlined the whole process was. They listened to my concerns for both of my children and helped me come-up with a weekly personalised learning program that fitted into their school commitments as well as their after school extracurricular activities. My daughter and I absolutely LOVED the 6 week trial that we had with Kinetic Education. From the get go, staff were friendly and helpful with their weekly check ins, the reports that were sent to me via email were of useful insight to me as a mother and the actual program was a blast for my daughter! I was not too sure how it would go with her being a senior student but the weekly tasks had her full attention and she has learnt so much along the way. The incentive program is such a great way for her to stay motivated to hopefully cash in her points for a shopping voucher! A big thumbs up from both of us!

So very happy with our trial of Kinetic Education’s tutoring program. My son has loved the experience from the start (which I was thrilled with, given we have been home schooling for way too long this year!). He has been engaged and excited to do his work. My son (12years old/grade 7) really enjoyed the tutoring and having Bridget ring and discuss his progress each week with me. Another thing my son really enjoyed was watching his points build up for the rewards on offer, it’s a great incentive well done Kinetic.
Bridget was fantastic and very good with communication and always available to answer any questions.
Unfortunately from the first test to the final test my sons level dropped. But Bridget gave him another test to check if he was just having a bad day. But again his level was still lower than his first test. It was strange as each week he scored very well with his lessons but his final test results didn’t reflect this.
I can not fault Kinetic and the joy my son had each week with his lessons. Plus the easy of doing this on line at home and at times that suited us was a big bonus.

My Son loves maths so was thrilled to join this campaign. The fact there are incentives for the kids is a bonus and motivated my Son to finish his tasks. The run through was thorough and whole process easy to set up and join.

I was so excited to be given this opportunity and was in the process of trying to find a tutor to help my son. From the outset, Kinetic were professional and really explained how the tutoring was going to work. The Pre Assessment identified gaps in my sons learning so it was good to establish what was needed to be worked on. I received an easy to understand report, had a lengthy discussion with my assigned tutor and formulated a plan moving forward. The online software is easy to use, screens are really kid (& adult) friendly and the kids earn points for completed tasks. My son is not really a fan of school, but for him, seeing his reward points go up encourages him to get online and complete his learning tasks. So far, he does about 20 minures most days after school, but we can change this to suit what is happening at the time. I am super impressed, over the moon with Kinetic Online learning to date. With no homework from school, this enables me to sit down and actually see how my son is going, help if I can and if I can’t, my tutor is a phone call away.

I have 2 children taking part on the program. My youngest completed his pre-assment and we had a report e-mailed to us pretty quickly . My 8 year old completed his the same day and we are still waiting. I was impressed with how the report breaks everything down. We love the incentives which are points that can go towards gift cards. Our tutor was great on the phone and explained everything to us and ensured we had a full understanding of how to work the program .

My daughter 9yrs had an instant connection via our zoom meeting for pre-assessment. This put her at ease as she was hesitant to go ahead with tutoring lessons. We also have spoken to Ally who was very helpfully at starting us up and setting everything up for us. We have just completed our first week with good results, and I love that they send me an update on how the children are going every week. So we are very happy so far!

It’s the first week after pre assessment and starting of tutoring. My son enjoys the lessons so far, and Kinetic’s made contact to discuss the progress of his work submitted so far. They very accommodating and all ears for concern and questions. I’ve requested for some tweaks and will see how it progresses from there.

It was a quick and easy set up with Ally, explaining how the tutoring is to going to be done and explaining the next step, including what to expect after pre-assessment. Very accommodating to the ways to keep in contact and the times to be able to make contact. For a busy parent, the clear quick arrangement suit my style and my child’s current timing and lifestyle. Looking forward to how my son progress in the next few weeks.

My girls have completed the pre-assessment and it was super simple, provided some good insight for their building blocks and motivated them to get in and start the program. Thus far I am really happy. The tutors are great and the programme looks very worthwhile. The kids love the idea of incentives too.

The set up process was easy and efficient with all staff being very friendly and accommodating. The first zoom meeting was to explain a little about my children and for myself as a parent to be introduced to the programme, once this was complete we were told to complete the assessment and assigned a tutor. It would have been great if this was the same person as I feel I did have to repeat myself to both staff members. After the first assessment my children were very keen to start with their lesson plans. They are so excited to be rewarded with incentive points and I feel 15 minutes is more than achievable to complete daily and can’t wait to see a difference in my children’s knowledge.

Kinetic Education is a tutoring company that does tutoring differently. The registration process is quick and easy, and after this, my daughter took an online pre assessment for her tutor to find any gaps in her knowledge. I was provided with a report on her performance. From here, she has been doing the weekly tasks that her tutor has set her. There is also a tutor helpline where she can call the tutor anytime when she is stuck on a question, and I think that this is really useful. It suits my daughter better than a group lesson with a teacher and other students, since Kinetic Education is also all about one on one learning. There is also an incentives program where students can earn points and exchange them for vouchers. My daughter is really looking forward to this, and it is motivating her to try her best. So far, we have been loving the program and as a mother I can’t wait to see her progress.

My first interactions with the Kinetic team have been nothing short of fantastic. So much time and care is taken in learning what your children needs and where their strengths are. The pre assessment has really opened my eyes as to what my children really have and haven’t absorbed at school. Being in a class with 20 other children, if your child doesn’t understand a certain subject, they tend to get left behind. That was evident after the pre assessment with Kinetic was completed. I now feel confident we are on the right track towards closing those learning gaps.

My daughter is in year 7 and when I heard that she was able to participate in this tutoring – I was thrilled! She lacked confidence when it came to Maths and always doubted herself! Kinetic was a great program for her to be involved in! It boosted her confidence. She learnt that she could do a lot of the maths tasks that she thought she couldn’t and she had wonderful tutors and help list a click or phone call away! KInetic Education do an assessment on you child to see were they need extra help. They then set out tasks for the week, then tests at the end of the week. If you child needs extra help with the tasks they have their own tutor just a ph call away to help them thru the maths or english problem.

I received great customer service and communication from tutor. My daughter filled out two initial surveys somehow and I think they were mixed up as she as work that is too hard. It will be much better though once issue is ironed out. Her twin brother had the right age and they are both thoroughly enjoying kinetic maths and it’s great to see them happy to do homework for once haha.

Kinetic has been a great help for my Year 6 daughter.
At first I wasn’t so sure about the level they had her at but she breezed through what would be considered revision for her and is now at a point where she is covering some new ground.
Miss 12 is a great independent worker and is happy to sit down and do her Kinetic “homework” on her own.
The format is simple and the interface is quite easy to use with some minor annoyances in user friendliness but nothing major.
I think it is helping build confidence in my daughter and for that I’m happy.
I think if your child is not great at working on their own or is really struggling at school then maybe not the best fit but for us, it’s been great.

In the world of COvID and moving things online, it’s such a great time to be evolving in the online tutoring world. Who would have thought? We were thoroughly impressed by the whole process from booking in our pre assessment zoom session, it was a breeze. So much knowledge and experience made it seem less. My boys aren’t super keen online learners but amazingly they stuck to this one for the trial. Impressive and great incentives, what a win win. Kinetic has been a great experience for our daughter in Year 4. She loves the online learning which she can do at her own pace with clear examples and fun graphics, a great tutor at the end of the phone should she need him and the chance to earn incentives such as retail vouchers for completing tasks.

We have had three phone calls with them, although we started the tutoring today. We have an amazing tutor who is so kind and caring. My little one is actually having fun doing her tasks, and knowing that she is earning points along the way gives her more incentive to try her best. If she still wants to continue her tutoring after this trial, I will definitely be meeting her do it. After a terrible year, it feels good to see her so happy to learn!

My child was selected to do the 6 week trial of kinetic education. The program itself is pretty straight forward and easy to use. My child was happy doing it for the 1st couple of weeks and then he was pretty much over it. There is a tutor that checks in every couple of weeks and she was lovely. However, we will not be continuing to use kinetic education. For the cost I don’t think it is worth it and you are locked into a 1 year contract with them. I have used other programs in the best and seen better results.

The thing I love about kinetic education, is that it is really easy to navigate through the website. I also liked that you have lots of customization for your character although I wish it was free to change it. I also love that there are lucky draws which you can enter. However I didn’t like the fact that you had to do the different tasks in the specific order instead of any order. I found the tasks a little hard to do because they kept sending harder and harder tasks.

My son got a horrible semester report and I can’t wait to see his improvements this term after tutoring he does half an hour and it’s really bringing him back up to where his class is learning each weekly lessons and perfect for him

My daughters 9 and 5 are trialling Kinetic education at the moment, and we’re about half way through. Both my daughters already use two other online learning tools provided by the school – Maths Online and Reading Eggs and I must say these two are much more user friendly, easy to navigate with big buttons and placement of the buttons easy to see and more interactive and engaging. The graphics and lessons are more fun and appealing to visual learners.
The positives about Kinetic is the access to tutors with a phone call, my 9yo has called and got help which was wonderful as it saved me from having to try and explain the concepts.

Hi! We’ve just joined and so far so good. The kids are trialling maths and english. The level is tailored to your child. The program is easy to use and the kids get around it themselves. The activities are marked and tracked so you get a report every week on what the kids are doing so you dont have to sit there and watch them. The incentives are great – smiggles gift cards and other options if the kids keep completing their work!

I am truly blown away with this program and it is clearly evident that the team at Kinetic have been doing this for some time.

The program is simply amazing value and an awesome for busy parents needing that support to assist their kids at both Maths and English.

We have 3 kids ( yr 9, yr 6 and yr 1). My yr 9 was falling behind at school with Maths , since joining Kinetic her last 2 test results have improved, we are very pleased.

My yr 6 is preparing for the advanced program for year 7 and this program has been great in filling all her prior gaps and then allowing her to go ahead to yr 7 work already .

My year 1 was average and she is now doing yr 2 work already .

The coolest part of this is the incentives that they give the kids for completing their tasks , These motivate all 3 kids to want to do more work. The other great feature of the program is having a dedicated family tutor who also provides us with weekly updates.

Overall I am very satisfied and would highly recommend the program for kids of all ages and all abilities.

My daughter is in year 2 and is a bit behind her peers, and through Kinetic we are able to help her improve in some areas of her learning. Once she did the pre-assessment, I sent the information through to her school teacher and we were able to come up with areas where my daughter is falling behind. She is excited to reach her goal by completing lessons to get points and be able to get a voucher to go shopping. At the end of the trial, my husband and I are hoping to have her continue with the tutoring!

Our experience so far with our Kinetic Education trial has been fantastic. The set up process is thorough but straightforward. The ladies I’ve dealt with so far have been lovely and friendly and so helpful. I love that there is an initial test to work out any knowledge gaps and that the program is then individually tailored to each child to help fill those gaps and then help them progress beyond them. I was able to sign up all three of my boys for the trial (9, 7 and 4) and they all love it – I don’t have to nag them to do their allotted time, they are happy to go on and really enjoy it (and that’s even without the points and prize incentives, which I only told them about several weeks into the trial ????). Overall I am really happy with Kinetic Education, I was especially happy to be chosen for the trial as it coincided with Lockdown 2.0 and a reduced school day, so I wasn’t worried they would fall behind at all.

My kids and I really enjoyed trialling Kinetic Education’s online tutoring program. I loved that there was an initial assessment to work out if there were any gaps in their knowledge and where they were, so that each child’s program was tailored specifically to them. It wasn’t just a one size fits all across the board lesson. And as they progressed through their program their tutor would tweak their program as needed, concentrating on areas they still weren’t getting or increasing the difficulty level where it was clearly too easy. Their progress was constantly monitored and their tutor was in communication with me at least once a week, and always available to discuss any concerns. I would definitely recommend it and will absolutely look at signing up for it in the future

An easy set up, the kids responded great to the program and the incentives.
The tutors checked in every week and were open to calls when you wanted.
It was a great experience being able to see where my kids were at in every step.
Having both improve by 10-20% in just 6 weeks and being able to visually show them was very encouraging for them!
The program was easy enough to use that both my 9 year old and my very uninterested in tech 6 year old were able to use it no problem.

I can honestly say the 6 weeks tutoring with Kinetic has been a great experience. Here are my thoughts
. Its been a great way to see how my son is actually progressing with maths and English. No homework policy at his school sees me a little in the dark.
. The maths was repetitious, which he needed to cement key learning concepts. He never liked getting them wrong. The little quizes also helped determine if he understood.
. He loved seeing his points add up and strived to get questions right
. I found the english a little easy at the start for him, but I spoke to his tutor and he made adjustments and made it a little harder. Again, repeatition of concepts was the perfect way to learn for him
. Tutors ring to provide an update and they are on hand if required.
. Staff are so friendly
. Reassurance and peace of mind that my son is not falling behind
. Only thing I found hard was keeping my son motivated, but that was just him as it really only involves 20 mins 3-4 times a week.
. I feel more confident my son is at the level he needs to be, but wouldnt hestitate to use Kinetic if this wasnt the case

Overall experience is very easy and smooth. The teacher assigned kept updating progress once a week or once every 2 weeks. My son couldn’t use the provided service fully, like calling in when he had questions cause the calling hours were available after school hours till dinner time. My son have other extra curricular activities most days after school and needed to do his school homework before doing additional work given by kinetics. This is often after dinner, and call in hours would have ended. Or during weekends, when call in hours were not available too. Therefore, after 3 assessments, once before tutoring started to assess his current level, and twice at the end of his 6 to 7 weeks worth of tutoring, his results remain about the same. He couldn’t really advance cause there was no guidance at all, thus making the same mistakes or lack the knowledge to understand the matter on his own. We, as parents, quite often needed to be the one teaching him when a questions were really too tough for him. For English, only spelling, grammar and punctuation for comprehension English will be taught. My son struggles in written composition, and this isn’t something Kinetics can teach though we’ve tried to work around it. They can email topics for composition writing but they weren’t set up to mark and comment on the writing after. In the instructions, it will ask the child to look into researching the topic and take their time in writing out the composition in their own time. After submission, they may look into it and comment back after a week, asking the child to do more research in order to gain more knowledge into the topic (for example global warming). I feel that this approach may not be suitable for a primary school writing, but maybe better for a high school student. Overall, it was still a good experience. Kinetics do try their best to accommodate our needs, just that our son may need a different approach due to his schedule or way of learning his Maths and English.

After a rocky start my child was able to get in and do the inital test and start her tutoring. The Tutor was great in giving us feedback on areas that needed attention and after 6 weeks I can see that my child’s skills have developed. It has actually taken her this long to find her own rythum with the process and she has taken ownership of it now.

Overall our experience has been great with kinetic educations and my children have mostly loved the learning.

Over the 6weeks I have noted a few small improvements which could help better the sessions even more.

– Not having to open a new browser to log each time as this can become annoying but also each time you go to the kinetic eduction home page a pop up chat box appears which also become annoying.

– From a younger child perspective it does not indicate what to do next a flashing button or arrow would be great.

– A speech button to read the full questions would be great as this is not available on all questions or some additional text this means a parent needs to be present for the whole lesson to assist with tricky words.

The biggest dislike of mine is that some of the content is very ‘American based’ using terms or words my children have never heard of.

A couple of my favourite features were that I was able to ask our tutor for a particular topic that my kids were doing at school or maybe struggled with and that it would not let you move on unless you showed a good understanding of a topic, this meant my children could not skip through a lesson however this could be frustrating to come children.
