Review: WholeHearted Chicken and Pea Dog Food

The best judge of this food is my dogs. They scoffed it down, so it's a pass. I love how it's Australian for starters. But then I read the list of ingredients, they gave really packed lots of goodness in! Two different flavours so fur babies don't get bored eating it. And grain free options, just brilliant as I'm told we should avoid feeding our pups grains. I most definitely buy on a regular basis and will continue to do so until my fur babies stop eating it, I can't see that happening any time soon

Today boss tried whole hearted chicken and pea dry dog food. He absolutely loved it. The food doesn't have the powdery residue like some dry food. It didn't have any offensive odor and I'm sure that will be for the mound left in the back yard (phew). Boss dog scoffed his food down. Normally he would just graze but not with this. Boss dog gives all paws up on this product.

I am very impressed with Whole Hearted chicken and pea dog biscuits. My dog normally turns his nose up at his biscuits, leaving them right until the end of the day, to wait and see if what we have is a better option. With the Whole Hearted chicken and pea biscuits he got stuck into them straight away from the first day, eating about half and leaving a few for later. I'm so impressed that we've finally found a grain-free dog biscuit that he loves the flavour of.

My little pomerian is such a fussy little man! Most dog foods can sit in his bowl for the whole day. When I got out the packet of this dog food, he got all excited and wanted to try some. They were gone in no time! After reading the ingredients panel, I feel this product is giving my dog exactly what he needs without the fillers. We definitely buy this brand again, thank you!

These dog biscuits are terrific. My dog absolutely loves them, I believe they are healthy and nutritious for all dogs and not to mention very yummy. I highly recommend this product because of the above mentioned. My dog wolfs her dinner down every night. I will definetely be purchasing more of this product for her.

Toby, our loveable small backyard horse (bull mastiff x Great Dane absolutely loves WholeHearted Chicken and Pea Dog food!! He is usually quite a fussy eater so to see him gobble up WholeHearted within seconds was an absolute shock.. He kept sniffing around for more once he had eaten what was in his bowl, my little Miss 7 decided that a little extra out of hand would do him good so sneakily gave him a bit more ???????? Toby loved WholeHearted sooooo much we have decided to switch him over and he is loving every mouthful! His coat looks so shiny and he appears to be more energetic!! Ive got the dog food last week and my dog loves it, usually i buy different brand and she smells it and goes back to eat it later but this time she ate it straight away and looks happy when i show her the bag. I think we found the best choice of food for her thanks to this trial, wholehearted seems like the best dry food.

My dog can be quite fussy with dry biscuits dog food but he honestly loved wholehearted dog food chicken and pea. He even ate the biscuits that fell out of his bowl onto the ground.

Her whole hearted arrived today ... my partner opened the bag and gave her some before i was home to see her reactions etc but he said she loves it.. i have pedigree in 1 bowl and the whole hearted in another and she is choosing the whole hearted i must add she is a bit spoilt by my partner which he must cut back on But a Big Thumbs up so far for the whole hearted natural grain free chicken and pea :-) Thankyou

Our dog loves it, sees the bright orange bag, gets very excited.. Eats the lot.. No problems or issues.. All allergy problems gone.! Happy, content, and satisfied dog..

My dog loved these biscuits. He's normal biscuits sit there for a while but when these were put in his bowl he was happy to gobble them down straight away. He was definitely sad to see the bottom of the bag.

Lucky enough to get the opportunity to try wholehearted chicken and vegetable dog food. We have now been through a few bags since first trying and i have see vast changes in my dog. One...her poo smells so much better, her skin and fur looks better and even looks like it has a shine. Always excited to get her dinner. Best of all i love all the goodness she is getting with every mouthful

We’ve been using wholehearted for at least a month now and my dog is still enjoying the biscuits. I’ve continued to not notice any stomach upsets on her usual sensitive stomach so we are happy with the product, and would continue to purchase.

I have been feeding our dog,Nibbles, whole hearted biscuits since last week and he is still loving it! Nibbles has a skin condition and we noticed that he has become better in the last couple of days. We Will continue using these!!

Boss loved this dog food. He is a blue healer and usually eats his dry food over the course of the day but not today. Boss devoured the wholehearted chicken and pea dog food. He even tried to get more out of the packet. Boss gives all paws up o this product and says thank you!!

Chippa(dachshund)- loved it, but he eats cat poo Kylo(kelpie)-looked for more Peggy(Staffy)-thought it was delicious Mum(me)-All dogs enjoyed the food. I like the fact it is grain free and has prebiotics. They all loved it so much I used it as a treat to get them all looking at camera for photo.

Our dog Nibbles loved it! He even stuck around when I said the BATH word and didn’t move when I said the other B word (beach) Perfect size pellets and easy to dispense. My cat came in afterwards and yelled (meowed) at me because she wanted some haha

We tried the wholehearted chicken and pea dog food. My 7 year old Australian Shepherd loved these biscuits, I don't think I've ever seen him gobble down his bowl of dog biscuits so quick.

Our dog loves her food but even before I could get the WholeHearted Chicken & Pea Dog Food out of the packet and into her bowl she was dancing around in anticipation. No sooner had I told her she could start eating she was shoveling the food down and it was gone with minutes. I noticed that it was very crunchy, good for her teeth. A great new product.

My 2dogs loved it I’m so supprised they don’t eat a lot of things been to spoilt but these dog biscuits they ate without any problems

I have 2 English Staffies, one of ehich is an extremely fussy eater and will turn her nose up to a lot of foods. Having seen Wholehearted fog food in my local pet shop I was keen to try it, but had heard little about it so out was delighted for this opportunity for my dogs to try it. The kibble does not have a strong offensive smell and the size of the kibble is good, the pieces are smaller than many dry dog foods. One of my dogs instantly loved the food - I gave it to them as if it was a treat and he loved it, And was looking for more. The other dog, the fussy one, took a bit longer to take to it. This was as expected as i cannot stress how fussy she is, but she did take to it and i would be very happy to feed it to them both going forward. It is a little bit more expensive than their current food so I will look out for specials in my local pet shop. I definitely recommend this product.

My 80 kilo mastiff Brutus couldn't get enough. He can be quite fussy so I wasn't sure how he would respond. Grain free is the way to go

My dog Ebbie has been eating the Whole Hearted Chicken & Pea Dog Food for a while now and I have noticed that her fur is a lot shiner and healthier looking than previously. She also seems to have a lot more energy. Thank you for letting me trial this great product. Will definitely be purchasing it again.

My German Shorthaired Pointer loves testing out Wholehearted Pet Food! He licked his bowl clean every feed! Being such an active dog, some pet foods can make him hypo but Wholehearted kept him calm, while making his coat super shiny! We loved it-will definitely be buying again and recommending to others. Ralph our Pug is 10 years old and is fussy when it comes to dry dog food. He usually leaves food in his bowl for the birds to eat but not with WholeHearted chicken and pea recipe.Ralph licks the bowl clean and looks to me for more lol.I would recommend this brand to anyone that wants to keep their fur baby happy and healthy at meal time.

Georgia is a very fussy eater and usually lives on a rawfood diet 99% of the time so i was very surprised to see her eat more than a few of the buscuits. So far she has had 3 bowls and seems to really like it. The packaging is resealable which is great. I would totally recommend this to other dog owners 100%.

My dog ate all the WholeHearted dog food I believe WholeHearted is a nutritious food for my dog WholeHearted was easy to dispense I would prefer to feed my dog WholeHearted over other brands I would recommend WholeHearted to other dog owners

I have now been using the wholehearted chicken and dog food, and i am impressed. My dogs coat has become so much healthier. Her breath smells not as bad as it used, she is a much happier dog. Definitely recommend for all families to give wholehearted a go for a few weeks. You wont regret it.

My dog can be picky at times, but safe to say he enjoyed this dog food! He has no digestive issues with the change and is always eager to eat his biscuits instead of leaving them for the birds which he does on occasion with other brands.

We have a black and white Border Collie/Australian Kelpie called “Chilli”. We mixed the Wholehearted Dog Food Chicken & Pea with her wet food. She absolutely loved it. I was really pleased to read the nutritional value and benefits for your adult dog. As the dog gets older they require variation to their diet therefore to find a dry food that supplements the vitamins and minerals that they require. I would recommend everyone to use WholeHearted Dog Food.

My dog Roxy loved this food she ate every bit. It was so easy to feed to her with no mess & best of all was knowing how good it was for her. A great product to keep her healthy with a lovely shiny coat!

Absolutely fantastic product for my fur baby! He’s not usually a fan of pallets, however he demolished these every time which tells me that he definitely finds them delicious! My dogs both loved this food, right from the start, no upset tummy like some other dry foods when transitioning to another brand, no hesitation to dive in and eat it all (like other inferior brands tried previously), wasn't powdery, biscuits were a perfect size for my staffys, not too big or too small. Resealable bag is great, easy to open and close. Can't fault this product.

He loved it, and I loved it. A natural dog food that actually helps as it says it will. He eats every last bit in his bowl every time we feed him. It has helped make his coat shine and he has a skin irritation on his lower back and tail which has cleared up and his fur is slowly growing back. His breath even smells better which is a great benefit to me when he wants a kiss. I would strongly recommend WholeHearted dog food every time...

When I first got the bag and opened it I noticed the lack of 'dog food' smell, and it wasn't as crumbly as other dog foods. When I put a cup of it in my dogs bowl he didn't hesitate to start eating it as he has done in the past with other dry foods we have given him.

My baby girl is such a fussy eater. For the first couple of years she would only eat out of my hands. Eating 1 biscuit at a time. I was lucky enough to be able to get a sample of the Wholehearted Chicken & Pea Dog food thinking my girl would not eat it. She surprised me. Not only did she start to eat out of my hands, she ended up eating out of her bowl and has done so for the past week. I love the probotics in the food whicb is perfect for keeping a healthy balance on my girls diet. I have also seen a great improvement in her coat. Lets say, ill continue to purchase Wholehearted for my girl

My dogs seem to really like these dog biscuits, i noticed my dog that has sensitive skin seemed to not scratch as much. I read the instructions but did not see the recommendation of slowly introducing this new product. I think that recommendation should be in a larger print so as it more prominent to see. My dogs finished these biscuits every time they had them. Good flavour combinations.

I have 3 very fussy dogs- they absolutely loved it! definitely recommending it to family and friends.

What can I say nutritious and apparently delicious (I didn't try it so I'll trust the fact that my dog ate it all no fuss). As a dietitian the ingredients sound wonderful and it appears a lot of care has gone into this food creation. We will definately buy this brand. No feeding issues, no tummy or poo issues. And the picture of my Rusty says it all "lip licking good".

My beautiful family dog, Vinnie absolutely loved Wholehearted Chicken and Pea dog food. It is not delicious, but grain free and so nutritiinal. He definitely enjoys to sit down to eat his Wholehearted biscuits. After reading the nutritional content, we are definitely happy what this product is giving to our dog. Today was the first time my dogs have tried wholehearted chicken and pea dog food and they loved it! There was no hesitation in eating it, they loved the smell and the taste as they ate it all in record time! Packet was fairly easy to open. It wasn't powdery like some other dry dog food brands. 5 stars from my 2 staffys!

Brutus my 80kilo mastiff started sniffing the bag as soon as I got it. He was keen to tuck in and finished the bowl quickly. He's usually a bit hesitant with new food but he really enjoyed this.

The resealable bag is great. My dog doesn't usually eat all of his dry food straight away, but with this one he ate it all while I was standing there ( that's never happened before). He absolutely loved it. Judging by the ingredients and the way he ate it I would recommend WholeHearted dry dog food to others.

Normally my dog is fussy about new feed, when I opened the package she came by and looked at what I'm doing and the moment I offered her one in my hand she took it immediately without hesitation, then followed by a bowl and she finished it all too! I must say that Wholehearted dog food is the best dry food we’ve tried so far, my dog just loves it! She is a fussy eater and we have to constantly change food brands and try new things, most of the time she would smell the food and only go back later at night and eat but with wholehearted food she smells and eat it. Hope it won’t cost us a fortune though but it’s so far she’s happy so might stick to it. Thank you for the trial.

Our very fussy 'Mumba' the dog enjoyed this dog food, she happily ate the lot, seemed very satisfied and happy.. Tried many other dry dog food brands, appears 'Mumba', not only fussy, also has a few allergies, patchy fur, red skin and rashes, scratching all the time.. Not good.. Vet suggesting changing food.. some OK others not.. So far, so good, no problems or issues with this product.. Very happy 'Mumba', us too.. Will definitely buy.. Thank you..

First of all I really liked the resealable bag. My dog doesn't always eat the dry food straight away, but with this one he ate it all as soon as I put it in his bowl. I would buy this product because judging by the ingredients and the way he ate it all it seems to be a great dry food for my dog.

Day 1 of giving my 2 dogs Britney and Bella Wholehearted Chicken and Pea Dog Food, for breakfast, I gave them a few in my hand first, there was a sniff and then it was gobbled up. I made up their breakfast and they didn't hesitate to eat it all up. Bowls are empty and I have 2 satisfied pooches.

My dogs were very keen & happy to eat the sample I was given and they loved it. When I put it down for them on the second day they nearly knocked me out of the way. Will be switching to this for sure

Ollie seemed to really enjoy this dry dog food from WholeHearted. Sometime he can be very fussy with his food, but he couldn't wait to give these biscuits a try, even got caught with his head in the bag while waiting! Will definitely be switching to this food.

Both my dogs devoured this food!! They had no reactions or side effects from it.I have a cavalier King Charles and a Kelpie, both seemed to really like Wholehearted chicken and pea dog food. I would definitely consider switching from our usual brand.

Growing up with a beagle, I was under the impression that dogs everywhere enjoyed good appetites and low standards when it came to food. Fast forward 15 years and my extremely picky German Shepherd Millie has set me straight. As a bigger breed dog she needs to eat a good amount of food each day but it's always been a struggle to keep her weight up. Sometimes a bowl of dry kibble will sit for a day or two, untouched, and the only food she ever really gets excited about is raw meat. So in our family, empty calories and fillers in dog food won't do. That's why I was keen to try WholeHearted grain free chicken and pea dry dog food. The main ingredient is chicken meal, followed by peas, and WholeHearted actually smells like meat. In fact, just about every ingredient listed on the pack was one my grandmother would have recognised, which gave me confidence that WholeHearted is a dog food full of meat, vegetables and vitamins rather than cheap grains and stabilisers. The kibble pieces are a good size and aren't dry and crumbly like other brands we've tried. Of course the real proof was in the eating, and I'm pleased to report that Millie got through a full bowl within half an hour of my putting it out for her. She has gotten through more food in the last week or so than she usually manages, and actually looks enthusiastic about dinner, which is great to see. My only hesitation in recommending this brand of dog food to other owners is that at $29 for 2.4kg it's not cheap, but for anyone else with a fussy eater I'd say it's absolutely worth a try.

My dogs are very fussy eaters and one has severe allergies, however transitioning to Wholehearted was easy! The dogs loved the taste, one started only eating the wholehearted only and leaving the other brand in his bowl. And there was no adverse reactions from my sensitive dog who has allergies, most cause some reaction in him.

Our mini pomeranian-chihuahua Lucy is extremely fussy about her food and doesn't just eat any brand. She was immediately interested with the parcel of WholeHearted pet food, and began sniffing it as soon as I took it out of the box. She was quick to try some, though as a rescue pet, she always takes tiny pieces of her food out of the bowl and runs away to eat it so it was difficult to photograph her munching away happily. We were surprised to see her take to this new food so quickly. I've only put that she hasn't eaten it all because I'm sure the packet will last her a long time! We are very happy to have found a product that is natural and not packed with fillers. Lucy doesn't eat any of the products with nasties in them, so I'm confident this is a good choice for her. Even the cat liked it! Oops!

Our dog loves it she is normally such a fussy eater but has really taken to wholehearted so much so she was picking out the old stuff from her bowl and putting it aside so she didn't have to eat it as you can see from the photo so I will be definitely buying this product from now on you have a new fan

My 11 year old mixed breed male is extremely fussy but did not hesitate to try these biscuits. He enjoyed the entire bag and seemed to preferr it over his usual brand. I would definitely recommend this food as a high quality dry dog food.

2nd review and another opportunity to rave about it. My dog loves these kibbles. Her breath is so much fresher, her stools are easy to scope up and not sloppy and her coat is beautiful and glossy. My kids found the kibbles easy to scope up and feed her. She even seems to have more energy. The only draw back is the price. I would definitely buy it if the price was alot more affordable. I guess it's standard for premium dog food though.

It had a nice smell even for dog food. I love the fact that it is an Australian made product. It was a softer type of biscuit , easy for the dogs to chew, decent sized for large dogs. I never got a chance to take a photo. It was gone in like 2 seconds. They loved it.

now days very sceptical with adds good for you natural bla bla bla BUT wow after 2 weeks can see my dog happier even with all the rain and his coat FEELS great and i have peace of mind can not wait to try what else Wholehearted have

My name is Odie and this is my first try of WholeHearted Dog Food. I think it tastes great and got stuck right in! My mum says that it’s great for me too with lots of healthy protein and veg. It will be a regular now when mum takes me to Petbarn to get my dinner each week. I give it 4.5 paws up out of 5.

Both my dogs loved this food! They had no side effects of changing over to Wholhearted Dog Food! Easy to measure. But most of all my dogs gobbled it up... even the picky Cavalier king Charles! Highly recommend this dog food as it seems to work well for most breeds of dog.

I was a bit hesitant at the thought of trying Wholehearted with my two dogs as they can be a tad fussy with dry dog food. I was pleasantly surprised when they gobbled it down the minute it hit their food bowls! The only negative for my toy poodle was that the biscuits were slightly too big for his tiny mouth. He overcame it though, it just meant he took his time to enjoy every bite.

Upon opening Wholehearted Chicken & Pea dry food, I could instantly see and smell the quality of the product. The packaging is well layed out and gives you a good indication of the premium ingredients amd all the extra goodies that are packed into it. Feeding time soon came for my fussy 11 years old timer and sure enough he loved these biscuits. Burt the Staffy gave a 5 paw print review for these dry biscuits; Im seconding it!

My dog is a fussy one, preferring cat food to dog food. It was good to feed him a product made for dogs from healthy ingredients that he was happy to eat all up. It was expensive but if it keeps his health good then I guess it saves on vet bills.

Lizzie is my 13 year old KelpiexCollie, and like me retired from dairy farming. She has had a variety of diets throughout her life and thoroughly enjoyed the taste and crunchiness of this product. I have also noticed in the past couple of days that her joints are not as stiff when getting out of the kennel . She also is keener to chase and fetch the ball. I will purchase this product in the future and would recommend it to other dog owners.

The Wholehearted Dog Food is nutritious, healthy and easy to serve. The packaging is easily resealed so will keep fresh and safe from bugs and pests. My dog came over, had a look and then proceeded to completely eat the whole bowl of food. While i have a Labrador that eats everything, she is still fussy and normally takes a while before jumping straight in. This time no hesitation in emptying her food bowl. Definitely think this is a winner !

My dog loves these kibbles. She hoovered them up like a vacuum cleaner before my son could put it in her bowl. I'm thinking of changing her name to Dyson. They are a good size kibble and they don't stink. Even her breath smells fresher. No more disgusting dog breath. Love the fact that it has all natural ingredients and even better all Australian

My dog loves this! He is so fussy with biscuits, but demolishes these biscuits. I also love that it is a re-sealable packet. The amount of times I have had biscuits spilling over the floor is endless. I will definitely be recommending WholeHearted to my friends.

The second time I've fed my dogs Bella and Britney Whole Hearted Chicken and Pea dog food and once again the bowl has been licked clean. I've had no reactions to it and they have wolfed it down each time I have fed them this new food. I'm lucky my dogs aren't fussy eaters, they are willing to try anything new.

I have to admit, straight off the bat, my dogs aren't particularly fussy when it comes to dry food. So the fact they eat this isn't a sign of its greatness. As for me, all the health benefits appeal, especially being grain free. I also like it's available in adult, puppy etc as it makes it easier to meet their dietary needs. I think it's a big expensive, but what's cost when it comes to keeping our fur babies healthy

The first thing I noticed was the bright orange bag. So different from the dark coloured bag from the usual brand I would normally buy. Very attention grabbing. The food in the bag had a pleasant smell (as far as pleasant dog food smells go) The colour was a rich caramel and the pellets are a squat button shape about the size of my little finger nail. But what did “Biscuit”, my dog think of them? He loved them! With his usual food I'd fill his bowl, he'd have a couple of bites, walk away and then go back and forth all day, often taking 2 days or more to finish the bowl. With the WholeHearted Chicken Pea Dog Food he took one or two mouthfuls and then just kept eating. He loved it so much I’ve taken to just putting a handful into his bowl at a time or he just eats everything in one sitting. At $29.00 for a 2.4kg bag, it is on par with other high quality dog foods.

i was happy to receive the massive sample size bag of wholehearted dog food and try it on my 2 dogs. both dogs aren't too fussed about dry food and normally the local birds eat it more than the dogs. both dogs have been finishing off there bowls by the morning. even the fussy Pomeranian that turns her nose up at dry food has been happy to eat a bowl full so its a win in my book. Hopefully its a reasonable price so we can continue to purchase for our dogs.

My dog Ben loved this product. From the minute the box arrived he was pestering me to feed him some. He had some in his treat ball, with his dinner and as a treat just before bed. In all instances, they were gone in a flash. Will definately be buying more of this product.

I have a fussy dog and I was a little reluctant that he would eat it because of the many new things we have tried that he simply does not have an interest in. My dog loves his bones and only occasionally eats dry food. But he ate Wholehearted all up and with his tail wagging. We were impressed.

We tried The wholehearted GRAIN FREE CHICKEN & PEA dog food. With 1 dog with skin issues, this food seems to be a good choice,beings its grain free and has Omega-3 fatty acids. Real chicken being the first ingredient is also a huge plus for this food. I have two large breed dogs,and the package states 'small dogs' but my dogs seem to prefer the smaller size too. They both ate it, but not as keen on it as their usual Ocean fish and salmon in the Ivory coat range. Im sure the other flavours in this range would go down a treat, my two just arnt that keen on anything chicken. Like i said, they both still ate it though,so thats a good thing. I would defiantly try out some of the rest of the range in future after reading the nutritional information on the website.

Unfortunately with the amount my dog eats we were only able to feed him for a week on this food, but I was sorry when we ran out! I love that it is is Australian and has a good amount of protein, although there is a large amount of filler and peas aren't the best. My dog loved it (although my dog loves all food) and he is looking great - lean and fit.Don't let the sad eyes fool you we were on our way to the vet recently and he got top marks! I would use this again, but advice is to make sure to rotate it with other foods that have less pea/legume ingredients.

my dogs loved this bit expensive but great colour, and ingredients, i love that its healthier for my staffy who suffers with skin allergies alot. so usually i have to be really picky with what i feed her, and a old dog with no teeth who still hovered them down so really good. im sure i will purchase again for them! hopefully they have more flavours for them to enjoy :) ! ! ! ! ! !

Ok so my dog wasn’t interested in this at all.. but guess who was? Yep my fussy cat.... the cat that only eats one type and one flavour of dry food... and wouldn’t leave it alone! I may not be buying it for the dog in future but can I suggest making a cat food version?

My dog loves this food hes a staffy-x so got it to see if would stop paw licking (it didnt) he loves eating it but unfortunately upsets his tummy his farts are horrendous and runny back poos (sorry tmi) we will be half half the test with science diet which is what he used to be on. I would recommend this product to try for others just not suited for my fur baby.

I trialed my dog with wholehearted chicken and pea dog food. The first few days diesel seemed to like it then he went off of it, However the cat loves it more than its cat food, so one of my animals loves it

My fussy dogs, surprised me as they really liked these for a change! Normally they really like to stick to only one brand and they will only try something out of curiosity or turn their noses up. This time they all had a go, and the fussier one came back for more!!. I don't know if they will keep that up or not. I love knowing that they are eating healthy with WholeHearted.

Mr B so far I am sorry to say has been a little slow with eating the wholehearted chicken and pea food. Have mixed a small amount in with a a tin of his regular food and while he ate some he did leave behind a large amount. For someone that normally loves his food, this was unusual. Will try again mixing in tonight with something that is a wetter mix of what he normally has as maybe he just didn't like it too dry. I like the idea it is a healthier choice for Mr B, so will try again a few more times to see if he does like it or not.

Jackson, our 8 year old border collie, had the pleasure of trying wholehearted dog food. Surprisingly it is the same shape and size as our current brand and could hardly tell the difference. Jackson can be a little fussy but he happily ate his meal. The product looks great from a nutrition view however I am concerned the serving size it much more than our current brand making me wondering is it as nutrient dense as others or a few more fillers than our current brand. At the moment we will be sticking to our trusted brand but definitely won't hesitate to consider Wholehearted dog food in the future!

I have 2 dogs who are pretty sussy eaters, and both of them enjoyed Wholehearted.

Mr B is still not a huge fan.. for someone that loves his food he just has not seemed to be overly enthusiastic .. when mixed with other food, he eats some of it but seems to leave mainly to leave behind the wholehearted food and pick out his old food. He does seem to eat more of it when mixed with wetter foods, as maybe he finds it too dry.. but for someone that normally likes his bowl clean, he doesn't seem to be sold.. sorry to say that.

Feed this food to two dogs; a 16 yr old golden retriever and a 7 yr old blue cattle dog. Blue cattle dog walked away from it and refused to eat it. Great to know there is a kibble available that is not only nutritious but smaller in size. Thanks MOM. Golden retriever really enjoyed it. The kibble size were perfect for him as he hasn’t many teeth remaining. He ate it all up. I would continue to purchase for the golden retriever but wouldn’t attempt again with the blue cattle dog.

My dog is particularly fussy and for her to even show interest in this was great. This food would definately need a gradual change as the dog did get a bit of an upset stomach but with only adding small amounts to her current food which made it more manageable. The food also did not smell horrible like a lot of other dry dog food.

My dogs are really fussy eaters, so I am not really surprised that they were not a huge fan of these biscuits. They did eat them, when mixed in with their normal food, but didn't really want to touch them when I put them in a bowl on their own. They will eat them over time, but it is not their preferred food.

Unfortunately my dog is a fussy eater and just wouldn't eat the wholehearted dog food. I really thought mixing it with her wet food, she'd go for it. Even though I mixed it altogether, she ate the wet, but wouldn't chew the dry food and dropped it on the ground. She doesn't know what she's missing out on. If she was a child, I would have told her, if you don't eat your nutritional meal, there's no dessert for you. At least I could get her to pose with the food. ????

Unfortunately my Miss destiny aged 12 sniffed & reluctantly ate a few nibbles whilst looking at me with a sad face as if to say ohh mum do I have too?? I have continued to feed this to get the past 5 days & she eats a small amount & requires a lot of water afterwards.

Unfortunately my dear Miss Destiny did not like this. I've tried the past several days to give her a bowl BUT....... she looks at me with puppy dog eyes I can feel she doesn't like it BUT she reluctantly eats around 20 pieces to say Gee Thnx Mumma
