Review: Vanish Gold

I have a baby, 2 kids and a big kids that all must enjoy messing up their clothes. Since using vanish gold it has been so easy to get the stains out. From spew and vegetable stains to dirty grass stains to grease stains. It's never been easier. Won't use another stain remover since using this!

I have bought Vanish Gold from Coles and love it, it takes the harder stains out especially with white stuff. As a busy mum with 3 kids and a husband who technically counts as a kid as well I have loads of washing I do each week and to have the peace and mind that this actually works is amazing. I use it not just for stains but for general washing now, I LOVE IT!

Vanish gold has become my best friend in the laundry. Having a husband with filthy work clothes, 2 school aged children that enjoy getting their uniforms grubby playing soccer and footy at lunch and a baby that likes to make a mess with food. This product takes the mess straight out no having to soak several times for the mark to slowly wash away.

I have just tried the new Vanish Gold for the first time. I've been a long time user of the regular Vanish stain remover for a long while, so was interested to try it. I must say, it works wonders on the kids clothes! We get a lot of food stains in particular, and I'm forever scrubbing before each wash. I mixed up a paste of Vanish Gold, spread it on the stains and you would never know they were there! I highly recommend giving it a try.

My partner was cooking our family spaghetti bolognaise 2 nights ago and he got a stain from the sauce on his shirt. I told him I’d see what we could do with Vanish Gold. After a quick scrub with the Vanish Gold mixture and a regular wash you cant even see where he spilt it :) The main stains that we seem to get on our clothes is from when we are cooking meals. Now with Vanish Gold that won’t be a problem anymore.

My husband is forever coming home from work with grease all over his work clothes. Napisan Vanish Gold has become my best friend in the laundry I refuse to use anything else now. My husband hates when I wash his work clothes as they look so clean and makeshift it look like he doesn't work hard.

Bought this product based on all the other positive reviews. I will not use another product again. Very happy to have found a product that helps take out the stains on my sons white school shirt.

I just had to share what Vanish Gold was able to do today. My husband drip meat juice/oil from a burrito all over his work pants the other day. I told him I'd see what we could do with Vanush Gold. After a quick scrub with the Vanush Gold mixture and a regular wash you can barely see anything anymore. The biggest way we lose clothes is due to oil/grease splatters when cooking and this has given me confidence that with Vanish Gold that won't be a problem anymore.

I love this product, I already purchased vanish oxy previously but will now be making the switch to vanish gold! It really digs deep at getting those stains out, my daughters school socks are so much whiter! I love being able to use this on oil stains from cooking straight away & knowing it will get them out & save my garment! Well done vanish, another great product!

This is my wrap up review for Vanish Gold. All in all, the product works and well. It can remove a stain within seconds and even gets rid of beetroot juice that say for 3 days. That being said, I don't feel it does what it does better than anyone else. I tested it against a stick stain remover and got the same result without having to mix up a treatment to use it first. I didn't notice a change when I tried using it in-wash, but I just might not be observant enough to. So it works well, but for a busy mum I'll stick with the convenience of a stick stain remover. I'll save my Vanish Gold for those 'oh no!' crises where I've accidentally spilt red wine on my favourite sweater.

The napisan gold has got to be the best stain remover on the market. I have always used napisan for my kids clothes. This works so much quicker. It is a must especially when I have three kids and a big kid that make a lot of mess on their clothes.

My 2 older kids like to kick the footy and soccer ball around at school and tend to get pretty grubby. This has worked wonders on their school uniforms. The dirt is gone in no time. Not only that my little one likes to spit up his veggies all over his clothes so it's great for this also. Best stain remover I have used.

I had my doubts that the beetroot would come out at all, let alone after 30 seconds. But, it did! I will be using this for all my kids clothing stains and have tested it out already!

I cannot believe how well and how quickly this product works!!! AMAZING!! Not only was the beetroot test a clear indicator that this product works but I tested it myself on my own laundry with a antibiotic poop leak dried on my baby girls new bonds leggings and it came out first time - normally it is a preen spray, wash and then Napisan soak and rewash and a hang out in the sun for the rest of the stain. CANNOT BELIEVE IT! Also chocolate custard stains dried in the wash with our normal detergent and Napisan Gold and came out first wash normally also a soaking item. This product if amazing and has made my laundry much much easier!!! LOVE IT!

Vanish Gold was very easy to us following the instructions. I was a little skeptical at first and was pleasantly surprised that it worked so well. However, I know that you can wash most stains out if you do it straight away using just water, so I cheated a little on the test. I soaked one sample fabric square in the beetroot juice provided and soaked the other in juice from beetroot in my fridge. Seeing as in real life my children's clothes with stains are often left for a day or two before I get around to washing and treating them, I left the soaked material overnight and forgot about it until the next evening. It was then I did the test with all three fabric squares and was amazed that all three came out clean and white as new. That type of result usually only happens after hours of soaking and washing or bleaching. I will now be hunting through all the wardrobes and baskets for stained clothes I had previously thought would never be clean again.

Did not think this was going to work, but it did. And it worked on the school polo shirts that I have never been able to get clean with other products

So I opened my box and read the instructions for the experience. I completed all steps with the vanish gold and wondered if it was better than the old vanish I had in the cupboard so followed the steps with the old one too. The results are that Vanish gold won hands down. A slight yellow mark from the vanish gold that came out with very little rubbing completed to quite a yellow stain that I gave up rubbing before it came out. Well done Vanish gold, I am certainly going to be happy using this product on my children's clothes that get stained regularly.

Ok so i reeived my box of stuff on Thursday and couldnt resist opening it straight away and doing a quick test! The first thing i noticed was the clean, pretty smell that invaded my nose as soon as i opened the container. Lovely! I stained the cotton with the beetroot sauce and let it soak in, while i made my paste using the Vaish Gold and warm water. I Making the paste and applying the paste to the stain is pretty straight forward, i tested trying to rinse the cotton and see if the stain would come out entirely without scrubbing it as instructed and i guess the stain did come out, although there was a yellow circle left on the white cotton, so then i scrubbed and away went the yello stain and nothing but pure white was to be seen! Truely an amazing product considering the kinds of stains my 2 kids can easily serve up in the laundry!! I would buy it again and i would def suggest it to other mums and pet owners.

I followed the instructions to the tee and waited....with some scepticism, for the results. After the prescribed thirty seconds I rinsed the material and it came up white! I'm interested to see how well Vanish will work as a soak and in the wash. My daughters can make things dirty thoroughly and quickly. I'm sure Vanish Gold will be up to the challenge!

I cannot stress enough, just how messy my life is with three boys! There's mud, blood, grass, food, and something I don't even want to hazard a guess at what it might be! Vanish Gold is the first product I've tried, that ACTUALLY WORKS on all of them! Anything my boys throw at it, it throws back twice as hard. :D Add this to your arsenal MoM's, you won't regret it!

I could not live without this product! My daughters clothes are always dirty and stained and this never fails to get the stains out. I always have a bucket made up ready to chuck clothes or nappies straight into. It is gentle and never bleaches my colours but makes the whites super white. we have always used vanish products for stain removers, and this did not dissapoint. wish a very active and hands on 3 year old his clothes are always getting some kind of stain on them, and this product manage to get every stain out, even ones that have been there for weeks and been treated before with another stain remover. would recommend this to all friends and family. also we usually have to use sensitive products and this had no effect on my sons skin

I love vanish! If there's a way to stain clothes my daughters knows it. Vanish gets every single stain out, no other product compares throw it in the wash or soak it overnight, rub a paste on, it's so versatile and it has never failed me. Love vanish, worth the higher price than other brands. Safe for colours too which is important to my family and I.

I have really put this marvellous product to the test even though I was not selected by MOM to try it. A friend told me I would be mad not to buy it and try it for myself. It worked wonders on oil stains on overalls, chilli and tomato sauce stains from the kitchen and oops must not forget the old favourite gravy! Curry sauce stains even went! I am very tempted to put some red wine on a piece of cloth and try it on that! Grass stains respond well to this fabulous finish gold too! I will be using this forever more!

Great to try a new Powerful Stain Removal on my hubbys very dirty work gear - worked a treat!! Love how quick it works too. Plus I added it to the wash for the school uniforms and was happy with the result. Will definitely be buying and recommending this product. Thanks

This product is must for every mum. It's works every time to sort out stubborn stains that other products would leave behind. It s a fantastic product. Kids mess is no longer a problem with Vansish gold. Neither is the mess my tradie husband leaves on his work clothes. I just pop a bit of Vanish in the wash ad they are as good as new.

I tried Vanish Gold on a variety of stains I had here with great results! Living on a farm with two kids under five and one on the way Vanish Gold will be a regular purchase in our house! Vanish Gold worked wonders both on grease stains on work clothes and food stains on the kids clothes! I was very impressed and will definitely be recommending this product.

This is the real deal. All mums need this in their laundry room. I find dried out food stains really tough to deal with and Vanish Gold amazingly makes them disappear. This stuff really works!! My elder daughter gets nose bleeds pretty frequently and I've lost a few pillow cases to dried blood stains. I'm hoping Vanish will be able to work it's magic on those as well but I've yet to try.

My kids like to get their clothes extremely dirty especially at school when they kick the soccer ball or football around with their friends. All I need to do it put the napisan gold in and their clothes come out looking new. It's also great for soaking my 6 month olds bibs and clothes after he has his spit ups mainly vegetable stains.

I am extremely impressed with Vanish Gold. Between my fiancé who loves working with trucks to my older son who cannot keep his white karate uniform clean to the baby who loves to smear his food everywhere, my normal laundry products just weren't cutting it. I've soaked my sons karate uniform and it is now back to pristine white and the baby's clothes are lovely and stain free too since I started adding the recommended amount to the wash. I love that it is such a simple process and that it does what it says. I'll definitely be recommending this product to my friends and family and purchasing more.

I wasn't selected for the review but I brought the vanish gold stain remover after hearing a lot of good reviews about it.My daughter is teething so dribbles a lot and It leaves dark stains on her jumpers! I used vanish gold on it for 30 seconds then put in the washing machine and the stains disappeared! See attached photo top is before after! I've already brought more just so I don't run out!!! This product is a miracle product I will be recommending to all my friends and family. My next big test will be using it on the front and back door mats with all the mud stains on them. Will be posting photos after next experiment :)

So I have posted my results of my video but wanted to show the pic of before and after. I was a little sceptical as to whether it would just 30 seconds and a quick wash. But I was so amazed with the results, the white cloth was white again after the beetroot juice. I cannot wait to try the vanish on my own laundry stains. I thought it was great how it was such a easy process to remove the stain. Once I have tried on my laundry and see it works there I will definitely buy the product with two bubbas I need something like vanish

I've used it many times since receiving it and was very impressed. It's removed many different successfully and I'll Def be using it again!

I did the test with the beetroot juice and was amazed with the results, so I thought I would have a go at getting some of the stains out of my kids school shirts ( some of which have been on there for some time ) and was blown away by the results. This is a product that I will be telling my friends about and buying it myself.

Who knows all about dirty socks, it amazes me how dirty our kids can make their socks, Or even their leather school shoes.. the black residue of the leather on the bottom of the socks! argh makes me scream everytime and over time they never look clean.. well now they can! I just soaked them for a few hours and put them in wash and LOOK... and these were dried in - weeks old stains! wolla they are as good as new!!! FINALLY what I save on socks can go to that cake and coffee! Thankyou Vanish GOLD!

I just added the 30g to my normal wash with cold water and wow the clothes are brighter in colour, I have a school top that has washed up like BRAND NEW I cant believe it. I almost forgot the yellow was so bright once upon a time... Even my tea towels are a brighter white not the off white they used to be... Most Impressed!

I have been using the vanish on our clothes for almost a week now, I am really loving it, I have been using it just in my every day wash and our clothes are looking newer every wash! I will definitely continue to purchase this product, I might even try the spray too

Vanish Gold is absolutely effective, it's easy to use it is fabulous! I was a selected tester and I couldn't stop test ithe product every time thinking surely it won't get this stain out! But guess what!?? It did! I was shocked I have never seen a product so good! Literally 30seconds!!!!!! Wow!!!!!! I will be using this product again and again! I have 2 boys one that's in daycare the other is always messy with purée! You NEED to try this!!!

I have used the pink vanish that has been around for many years and love it, I have added it to every wash, used it on every stubborn stain, cleaned carpets, toilets, cars, you name it with it, from a solution to a paste, so when this lovely new package with a gold lid came on the market I had to try it, well it certainly meets expectations and removes all marks from clothes in the wash, it brightens a load when a cap is added with the detergent and i have adult sons who have always had nose bleeds from young children so I am constantly having to wash linen and pillow cases with large amounts of dried blood on it, this can be a trial with high threadcount sheets, but with the gold vanish I find I do not even have to soak, just a paste on the worst and in the wash, no light staining, white is white, worth every cent no need to wash again, this is a fantastic product and I did not think they could improve on the old one, but they have.

I have always been hopeless with stain removal, often handing over to my own mum, items which required hand washing, soaking or scrubbing! Whilst this got rid of would be stains quickly and easily, I did have some mould stains ( from something staying dirty for a few days in a plastic bag at the bottom of a school bag, unbeknown to me) which still didn't come out. Otherwise a great product.

Having always used Vanish over the years I was already happy to try out this new super boosted formula. The instructions are clear, it's simple to use and it really does work even in the 30 seconds (which I was initially not sure about). It's great on all the kids gear, especially the tough stains & I’ll continue using it.

I went out and bought Vanish Gold because of the positive reviews I saw on MOMs. Very happy to have found a product that actually will remove stains, I had made cannelloni with a red sauce and it of course ended up on everyone's clothing, usually I would have to soak the clothing right away to even have any chance of stain removal, but after treating with Vanish Gold all the stains came out right before my eyes!

This product is really great for washing. I use to use regular nappy san when the kids were younger with their cloth nappies and I wish this was around back then. It just makes the whites whiter as they say and the colours pop a little more. It certainly gives a better wash to the products. I use some in a presoak for anything really dirty I find it disolves really quickly too which you don't get with the cheaper imitation homebrand products.

Grubby school clothes are a thing of the past. I no longer have to stress about dirty marks on the light blue school shirts. Vanish gold is the best soaker I have ever used. I have always used napisan but this is the best so far. Got to love finding something good that works for what you want.

I went and purchased Vanish Gold after reading the reviews here (when I saw it on special) and tried it out with my sons clothes after a meal out and mess everywhere. I was SOOOOO impressed with how quickly the stains came out and how much of them came out with little work required by me. I will definately be purchasing again!

Love it love it and love it. no other words can express my love for Vanish Gold. It is so easy to use and so effective. The stain really just vanished in 30 SECONDS. I also tried on my one of my son's shirt, which has chocolate stain around the neck. I just use my normal washing powder and some Vanish Gold. The result came out better than I thought. I would definitely buy it in the future. I am always a big fan of Vanish. And I am looking forward to new amazing product from Vanish~

I thought this product was amazing, i tried the experiment and thought can this be true, can it really remove a stain in thirty seconds... well YES it did. So amazed.

I have been using the vanish for about 2 weeks now and I am more then happy with the results. My sons clothes are coming out stain free every time even old stains are lifting! I will be buying this product once I run out for sure!

I was expecting to really scrub to get the stain out but i really just needed to rinse it after doing the 30sec challenge. Also I decided I needed to test this and used just water on a stain and ended up with a slight yellow stain. Can't wait to try this on some stains the children bring home.

My daughter decorated her lovely white shirt with chocolate cake, so I decided to put Vanish Gold to the test. It worked a treat, not only did it remove the stain but it returned her shirt to a shade of white I don't remember ever seeing on anything not brand new. I also added Vanish to a machine load of whites and they came out whiter than before. I found Vanish Gold was also great at getting collar staining off my partners' business shirts. I would highly recommend Vanish Gold to anyone, it will certainly have a permanent home in my laundry!

Vanish Gold worked wonders on my kids white school tops - made them all clean and white again. Another work shirt of a friends husband that had a VERY visible stain of red engine oil from work. Washing did not remove this stain so I thought lets see what VANISH GOLD CAN DO. I pre treated the stain and threw it into the wash and this was the result!!! Ok yes its not VANISHED but look how faint this is and I didnt even SOAK this item!!! are you kidding me! so I am sure If I spot treat it, soak for 2 hrs and through into the wash with Vanish Gold... this will once again look like a brand new shirt!!! I am so impressed. I have soaked shirts before overnight, even days and didnt get a result like this! WOW I am completely SOLD. If this was a fresh stain it would be GONE IN 30 SECONDS I believe! Try it for yourself!

When I did the beetroot stain experiment I was really amazed how it got rid of the stain, at first I didn't think it was going to work but then all of a sudden it had vanished completely. I would recommend this product to everyone I know because most have messy kids like I do, so it will come in very handy.

Wow, ive never used something that has cleaned so many different things from clothes before! Mothers day resulted in chocolate cake on a white jacket, mud on jeans and gravy all over my blue cotton tablecloth. i applied the Vanish Gold to all products expecting the same as other products, the telling faint stain left behind, but after 30 seconds and a turn in the washing machine all products came up almost like new. I would recommend this to anyone with kids, and i cant wait for my husband to play football this weekend so i can clean his gear like new again!

after trying vanish gold for the first time i am positive i will buy again. it removed beetroot stains in less than 30 seconds and didn't require scrubbing. i have used it since to clean up many spills from the kids and has lifted every stain i tried so far! i would recommend to anyone with children

OMG I THINK I AM INLOVE lol. My daughter has her FAV pair of pink shorts, which got a grease stain on them which I have NEVER been fully able to get out. So I made up the paste, I added it to the shorts for 30 seconds. I then made up warm water in a pot, added half a cap full of Vanish gold and Soaked for 1.5 hrs.. and it ALL COME OUT and I havn't even thrown the shorts into the wash yet... I seriously can not believe this!!! I am ready to tackle ANY STAIN NOW!

I tried out an experiment using beetroot juice and it was amazing how quickly the stain disappeared. The only thing is that for the experiment you put your prepared stain removing mixture on the stain as soon as you put the stain on the cloth, I am going to test it further to see how Vanish works on stains that have sat for a while. I had Beetroot juice to test out, once i put it on the cloth I thought how is that going to go away in 30 seconds! But much to my surprise it did! It was really great, simple to you, smells nice I really liked it and I can't wait to use it on all my other baby stains! I added a picture of before and after

As a mum of a football & basketball playing 12 year old boy, 4 year old very messy over active boy and a 20 month old princess that eats like a messy little piggy i always have stained clothes to soak & wash. I have used many other stain removers but this by far is the best and i will now not buy or use anything else. I soak the soiled clothes in it and then put it in the wash cycle as well and majority of the stains come out. Highly recommend this product!

as a mum to a toddler and a baby I constantly have clothes with stains! I have always used napisan but was executed when they brought out this new one! It is a great improvement and works wonders! My toddler is mid toilet training so I have used it for accidents of the "number two" variety, also food and paint stains from daycare and with my baby also a lot of "number two" stains which are normally big messy explosions (so yuck!!) so far any stain that I have thrown at it it has worked!! Thank you napisan! (Otherwise I would be buying more clothes for my kids haha!)

The solid food stains are getting messier and Vanish Gold is my best friend. I use it as a paste as well as soaking and in the wash and it works so well in all aspects. So glad I got to trial this product as it was perfect timing for my messy little Bub. I am sure I will be using it for years to come with two messy little boys!

I have been using Vanish Gold since the review trial and have not been disappointed on using it on everyday stains. My bub has just started solids and is sooo messy with his food, most clothes have food painted on them. Vanish Gold works great as a paste as well as in the wash to get rid of all types of stains, totally recommend it!

With stains like these I need all the help I can get! My bub has just started solids and I end up with messy bibs and clothes 2-3 times a day and they are seem to be red or orange, the hardest stains to get out. I opened the Vanish Gold with scepticism but was really surprised, it actually worked. I sometimes leave the stains for a few hours and it got them out fine, very impressed. Will definitely be buying some more Vanish Gold!

I didnt think they could make a product thats works any better than the other products they make but this won really is better than all the others in the range.

it was the most amazing product ever invented with the beetroot stain it worked straight way in 30 seconds, my kids dirty stained school shirts an painted tshirt from my daiughters preschool it came out on 30 seconds. The stain remover is a quick and easy to use stain remover.cleans clothes and stains with ease The 30 second beetroot test really worked and easy to use and great results after rinsing and seeing the stains disappear. I would recommend to any mum who needs to get rid of tough stains

I have a very messy toddler and a super spewy newborn. I am also very time poor due to these 2! This has cut my laundry time in half now, and no need for extra soaking. Will definitely be buying this in the future.

Great result did exactly what it said it would do. Was easy to do and stains gone. The next test will be some clothes with stains I haven't been able to remove yet!

This product works so well it has completely replaced all my other stain removal products. With a newborn baby it has saved me so much time that would have been wasted soaking and rewashing laundry. For tough marks on hubbys work clothes I mix vanish gold with water in a spray bottle. It works brilliantly and smells great.

A friends husband has this work shirt, which no matter what never came up looking clean... so had it in the rag box as it never looked like it was washed. So I thought lets put Vanish Gold to the test!! and the results are amazing! this is months and months of dried in stains that even with washing never came out. I just pre treated for 5 mins, then put into the wash and this is how its came out!!! I am utterly IMPRESSED! if This was gone with Gold from the start I think this would be a BRAND NEW SHIRT

As a mum to two young boys, its always a constant battle to get stains out of clothes. Used Vanish Gold on their clothes for grass stains, chocolate, dirt/mud and goodness knows what, and was happy with the result. Would happily buy it again as the boys clothes are definitely looking a lot cleaner!

WOW I wont lie when I saw that it will remove beetroot stains in 30 secs I was very… yeah right! mire like a few minutes if not soaking it. But its the truth! 30 seconds and it was GONE…. and I MEAN GONE! nothing left, not even a brown residue stain like I was expecting. I am gobsmacked! I am now going to really put dried in dirt to the test next.. so keep your eyes peeled

I did an initial test with Vanish Gold where I spilled beetroot juice on a piece of white cloth and immediately applied a spoonful of pre-mixed treatment of Vanish Gold, waited 30 seconds and when I washed it off the stain was gone. Now, this was impressive, however, I don't know anyone who would first, be able to immediately treat a stain, especially when it's on their child's clothes, and who would have a pre-treatment made up and ready to go as soon as said stain appears. In light of this I decided to take the test a step further and I put beetroot juice on white cloth and left it overnight to set. The following day I made up the pre-treatment, applied it to the stain and waited 30 seconds before giving it a quick rinse. This removed a ridiculous amount of the stain but it was still visible. Since no one would just rinse off a stained item of clothing I then put the material in wash with the rest of my laundry to see what would eventuate. The picture shows what my stained cloth looked like before I did any kind of treatment, and also what the cloth looked like when I pulled it out of the wash. The thing you can notice, besides how wrinkled the cloth is, is that the stain is gone. So, after sitting for 14+ hours on white material, Vanish Gold still managed to get rid of this horrendous stain. I'm off to see what other stains I can get out because as far as I can see this product is on the brink of working miracles.

Well I am not normally the type og person that can be made speechless,but in this case I am. To see it first hand that it removed that beetroot juice in 30 seconds was amazing. I was so impressed that I used it one a load of my kids clothes straight away and it makes a huge difference and my daughter is great at getting this everywhere on her clothes.I have taken a before and after

The kids and I did our beetroot experiment, we followed the instructions and even the kids could get their stains out. I'm going to try their school socks.

I use this on a daily basis as I have a 3yo it removes all food dirt and especially his reusable nappy stains in so little time. My fiance is a mechanic and it brings out anything that he gets on his shirts before I had to soak them overnight now I just make this into a paste apply it to the stain and put it through the wash Brilliant!

I hate washing & have 2 young boys who can't stay clean. Vanish Gold works wonders on the dirt, food, paint, blood, poop, nappy rash cream & general grime that they manage to cover themselves in daily. It took a little longer than 30 secs to get the paint out but the point is that it got it all out! All up I'm very happy with this product :)

I have been using vanish ever since it came onto the market and found it was truly fantastic to get rid of stains... not it is even faster and better ... what more do u need ... perfect

I absolutely love this product. I have 5 young kids (6 yrs and under) and they can get super messy all the time. Vanish Gold works miracles for me in getting their clothes back to looking store brought again. I don't think I will ever buy a different stain remover again. And I will certainly recommend to all my Mummy friends

I was amazed at the test I did with the beetroot juice... But then... My ten year old got chook poo on his jumper. I used the vanish and it vanished before my eyes!!! Omg!!!! Amazing... Will definitely buy this in my weekly shopping. Thank you for the experience.

I enjoyed reviewing this product. The instructions were clear although it would have been nice to know which temperature of water to rinse the product with in the final stage. The product was applied immediately to the stain, which is not always possible in the real world and I will be doing my own test on a dried on stain at a later stage. The stain came out with some scrubbing and was completely removed which was brilliant (see photo). Vanish is a product that I would use on a long term basis.

I love to through a little in my ordinary wash it makes the clothes seem brighter

I really should have taken a before shot of one of my twins tops covered in bolognaise sauce but today I used the Vanish Gold in wash. The results were fantastic.

I found vanish gold was great on fresh stains and it did in fact remove the stains in 30 seconds I also brought A bottle of vanish gold stain remover spray for the old hard to get out stains and both the products together got my clothes looking great again. Even the grass stains from the families soccer clothes lifted right off! I think it's a great product and would recommend it :) thank you for the opportunity to test it out :)

I only did the beetroot test for now. It's great at removing fresh stains straight away, and fast! Im yet to test it out on my son's uniform, as can't get paint out. Will post another review once fine, and let you know how it goes. So far, I am impressed with how well the beet juice came out. Was starting to dry up too... Took a bit of scrubbing, but it's white again...

I wasn't select to review Vanish gold but after reading the reviews I had to try it. Even better that it was on sale at Coles. some of my toddlers socks were stained. I made up the pate, waited 30 seconds and Tyne stain had improved. The I rubbed the paste into the socks and they started to get whiter and whiter. After they had been through the washing machine, the stains have gone. I can't believe it. It's fantastic

I was a little sceptical regarding the Vanish Gold removing a beetroot stain, but it did an amazing job. I was also impressed regarding the great job is did on removing stains from the clothes and bibs of my messy children, it managed to remove some stains that seemed to have been around for ever. Great product that worked well and easy to use!

I usually use Vanish spray and the original Oxi Vanish so was super excited to try the Vanish Gold. When doing the test I thought at the end the stain had not come out, but as I rinsed it off I saw the stain VANISH. I guess the name lives up to its standard. Great product that I will definitely buy again. I have posted some pics of me doing the trial and two of my dirty mop wipes. These are really bad so I think I will let them soak overnight and see how we go. Fingers crossed they come up good as new.....

I have to say i was sceptical because I often doubt the claims made by companies. So you can imagine my surprise when the beetroot stain was completely washed out. I will be trying the new gold on some stubborn stains and posting the results...

WOW I wont lie when I saw that it will remove beetroot stains in 30 secs I was very... yeah right! mire like a few minutes if not soaking it. But its the truth! 30 seconds and it was GONE.... and I MEAN GONE! nothing left, not even a brown residue stain like I was expecting. I am gobsmacked! I am now going to really put dried in dirt to the test next.. so keep your eyes peeled

The black staining was reduced and the jacket overall is brighter! Will continue to try a warm wash and pre soaking next time.

Though I wasn't chosen for this review , I went out and purchased it to try it out . I was very impressed with the results . It worked wonders , removed the stains and my whites were actually very white, like I first purchased them. Will definitely continue to purchase this product.

I just managed to upload my video now! As you can see it was so easy to do the Beetroot Stain Experiment, and the stain came right out! I can not wait to try it on all of my other stains now. I have soaked the school shirts with it already and will be trying it with my 1.5 year olds clothes next :)

I did the Beetroot Stain Experiment and was amazed how quickly and easily the stain came out! My boys come home will all sorts of stains on their clothes, so I m going to use Vanish Gold on their clothes now...can't wait to see the results!

I was a little unsure about trying yet another stain remover, but I'm so glad that I did. This product is amazing. Not only did it remove the beetroot juice stain after 30 seconds, I also put some in the wash with my whites and they actually came out whiter than ever before! I cannot wait to try this on hubbies stained work clothes.

Vanish Gold is really easy to use and not harmful for cloths.i'm a mum of 2kids 3 years old and 1 year old and this is an age when kids love to be messy.i was always worried about their cloths even sometimes they straight away put stains on their new cloth during eat and playing and i was screaming but since tried Vanish gold i'm tension free and allow them to whoever they want to eat or play.because now i know Vanish Gold can remove all stains in just 1 minute.

The kids certainly give my washing machine a work out, and my pet hate when it comes to washing is finding food stains in my 'clean' load. After trying new Vanish Gold, I've noticed less stains, but also the whole wash just looks fresher and whiter. I'm definitely going to keep using Vanish Gold.

Vanish Gold is a must with two active kids in the red dirt Pilbara region, it is effective in removing the the nasty red dirt from whites and pastels.

Vanish Gold is the best stain removal product ever, I have always been a fan of Vanish but they have really surpassed itself, you can actually see it working. I can use it for any and all stains and know it will get rid of it. I have a 1 year old son who tends to get absolutely grubby, not a problem for this, if its not all that dirty I just chuck a cap in the wash or if its extra dirty a quick mix with water, paste it onto the stain and in 30 seconds it is either gone or almost gone. Brilliant!!

Wow this product absolutely lives up to it's name and it's claims. Easy to use and quick. I tried the 30 second test on a number of stains and they were completely gone. I also used it in a white wash and they came out so beautiful and bright. Thank you so much for the opportunity to try this product as I really wouldn't have believed their claims unless I saw it myself. I am excited and will be using Vanish gold in the future.

I was a little worried when trialling this product. The Beetroot juice stained the fabric quite badly. As I was washing it and scrubbing it in the bucket I could not believe that the stain come out in less than a mintue. I have now tried it on my sons grey school shirts that get stained with food and grass all the time and all the stains have come out of them. I also tried it on my sons football shorts on Saturday and I was amazed that the stain come out of that considering how muddy and grass stained they were. I liked that it was easy and quick to use. It will definetly make washing and getting stains out alot easier and save me so much time not having to soak things for a day or two. I would recomded this to all of my friends and family and will be buying more of this when it runs out. One very happy mum :)

this is the newest regular to my shopping list! the results were instant and incredible. it is the first product that i have tried that delivered 100 percent on it's promise. i feel like a bit of a super mum making the kids clothes glow. if you haven't tried vanish gold before you need to give it a go. it is absolutely brilliant

Vanish Gold worked great for me, I found when I used the product in the normal wash cycle my clothes seemed extra clean and small stains gone. As a stain remover it was fantastic and easily removed my 4 year olds stains from her clothes, bad ones I tried to do right away which helped I think. It also worked on older stains if I soaked them for 24 hours or more which is great

this is a product great for mums with bubs that like to make a mess and get gruby. there is no fuss and this product is easy to use. I recommend this product and try it for your next load of washing im sure you will be happy, also leaves the clothes fresh. Very effective on stains. give it a go.

As I said in the title, Vanish Gold is a true laundry winner - extends the life of my clothes and is so easy to use. I have used some cheaper brands and they just don't cut the mustard! I am lucky to have a front loader, and I can do a soak or pre wash load that I can use Vanish Gold in. It really gets stains out and allows me to trust in a product working.. Thanks Vanish Gold

With a baby starting food I need to deal with many stains. It helps to soak bibs and shirts before the wash and then add a bit into the wash. While the stains left for a while don't necessarily come out in 30 secs, I've still been very impressed at how some have come out unexpectedly. Sometimes in the chaos of bathtime babies clothes get poped in the wrong basket and missed, so it's a few days before I see them and Vanish gold has helped remove stains still.

With an autistic son, a tear away toddler & a builder for a husband my weekly washing load is hardcore! I use Vanish Gold on a regular basis as not only will it remove stubborn stains easily & completely but it Is also gentle on clothes, which is great because I hate sorting loads! I'm a fan of anything that saves me time an effort and this product certainly fits into that category!!

I have always been a vanish user and even more so now I have a toddler who likes to get messy. When I saw this advertised I decided to go out and give it ago as sometime we have such stubborn stains I have had to throw out some of her clothes. I have had some great success with vanish gold. I was able to soak the stains and when I returned I could barely ebpven see that there had been a stain there. Threw the clothes in the wash and completely gone. I am a huge fan and have now made this my number one buy!

I've used Vanish Oxyaction in the past and always found it pretty good so was hesitant to purchase the ?Gold version because how much better could it get?! Well after a massive poo explosion care of Miss 6 month old in her car seat (of course she was wearing her gorgeous white dress with new stockings) I put Gold to the test. Soaked it overnight then put it through the wash and ta da - amazing! All gone, no stains. Have also used as a paste on spaghetti steins too. Love it.

With a house full of sickies for the last two weeks washing was at the back of my mind, I found a quick window of opportunity to do the Vanish Gold Beetroot challenge (even managed to video it) and was extremely happy with how it performed. The instructions were clear and quite easy to follow and the stain really did lift off before my eyes. Unfortunately my phone wont send the full clip in an e-mail or message and it wont load onto youtube for me so I can't show you the review viedo :( I will definitely buy this product again and would recommend it to friends for those hard to remove stains. The only thing I am not a fan of is not having a measuring device with the product, when it says to use say 30g of a product and I'm in a rush I'd much prefer having a little spoon in there with marks on it to just get the job ddone. Otherwise A++ from me. Now back to the sick household and catching up on more washing!

Yes in 30 seconds ..all stains are gone so i called this is kind of magic,vanish is really helpful for me with my cloth cleaning job.i tried this on that samples and my son's uniform also... truly speaking its magic hands for clothes stains..love it

When I got the product I was a little worried if it would work or not as I have tried many stain removers before. When I put the beetroot juice on I didnt think it would get the whole stain out at all. I thought it may leave the area grey looking. AS I was scrubbing it in the bucket I was amazed at how quickly the stain was coming out. When I took the material out of the bucket I could not believe the stain was GONE and you could not tell anything had been spilt on it. I thought I would try it on my sons school shirts ( grey shirts that get plenty of food, grass and dirt stains on the them). The shirts come out like brand new. Not only is this product so effective it is also a time saver which a busy working mum needs. I can not belive how well it worked. I will defintely be spreading this to all of my family and friends. It will be a staple in my house from now on. Thank you Vanish Gold.

The beetroot juice was removed amazingly! I did have to wash and rub for a little while until I saw the stain go compleatly. This is great for fresh stains (when you remember to do it straightaway)

Although I wasn't picked for this review, I decided to try it. It works better than others in the Vanish range and as an added bonus it didn't affect my hubby's sensitive skin. I'll use this rather than the one for sensitive skin in future as that often doesn't get the stains out first go. I am so pleased that I decided to try this stain remover anyway as it really works and I was pleasantly surprised.

i was using the Vanish already for my kids dirty clothing and also for stronger stains and i was happy with the performance but since i tried the Vanish Gold i found it more powerful then all other stain removers and Vanish too.its brilliant removes stains quicker and give a new shine to fabric.

I've always been a fan of Vanish, so when I first puchased Vanish Gold I knew I was getting a great product. The first time I used Vanish Gold on my daughter's dirty school uniform I was sold, the rest dust stains had completely gone and the whites were even whiter!

Was very surprised to see how quick and effective Vanish Gold worked. It removed the stain of the beetroot juice easily, showing now sign there was ever a stain there. Vanish Gold has a lovely light fragrance, that leaves clothes smelling clean and fresh. It was so easy to use that even my partner managed to put a couple loads on for me.

Tried the beetroot test not really expecting much, but it definitely worked and the cotton was just as white as it had been to begin with. I was looking forward to receiving this product to trial as I have quite a few items of kids clothing with tough stains that won't budge. First on the list was the neck of a sleeping bag. Began by soaking it prior to washing and then applied a Vanish Gold paste and washed again. The stain wasn't completely gone, but a vast improvement on all of the other products I've tried. I also had some marks on a pair or white leggings. Same treatment and the stain is almost invisible. I'd prefer not to have to mix up a paste and would rather just add powder to the laundry trough to soak, or add to a machine wash. So today I bought the Vanish Gold spray to complement it!!

Wow. Im so happy with the stain removal power of the vanish gold. Its so quick & easy to use. Great on chocolate & spag bol stains.. looking forward to testing it on older stains that i havnt previously been able to remove. Keep posted for more reviews from me next time with before & after pics.

I was generally happy with the quality and results when I used Vanish Gold. I am a busy mum of 5 young kids, and they are always getting dirty. Grass stains and mud are my biggest enemies, but I found that Vanish Gold worked really well in removing these stains without too much effort from me. I did find that I needed to use a pre-stain remover on some of the tougher grass stains. I will certainly be buying this product again

My 7 yr old son wore a white t-shirt for photos, by the end of the day he had grass, strawberry, chocolate and who-knows-what else stains. Looking at it I pretty much thought I would have to throw it out. I chucked it in with the other clothes and some Vanish Gold and it came out white with no stains.....I was impressed!

I did the experiment with the kids and they did their own. As you can see, even they could get the stain out. I then tackled all their school socks, I soaked them over night, they came out white as the day I brought them.

its the best stain remover on the market. ive tried all the others and I often had to re wash the clothing cos it still had staining. with this, I know its one wash every time. with 4 young kids mess is a daily occurence and with dinner, and crawling, arts and crafts, digging in the mud, and grass stains.... and the occasional bloody knee etc, there is a myriad of stains in every wash and to be able to only have to use one product to get the lot out is so convenient and so much easier. wont buy anything else

I normally use the ordinary napisan, I tried this new one, it worked great. It didn't get out some stains in under 30 seconds I guess it depends what the stains are from. But overall it did a great job and brought my clothes back up to wearable standard. I would definatly recommend this product to any mum, as kids always manage to get stubborn stains on their best clothing. If you say your kid doesn't your lying lol.

After reading the review from Moms ,I went out & brought Vanish Gold .i was undecided if it done all it claims ,it did to my surprise !Having Hubby & kids who are adventurist,we have lots of stains .Soaking them in a bucket first ,then normal wash .The clothes were fresh & no stains .!

Was teally looking forward to trying out this new product and it definately did not let me down.it removed the beetroot juice without only hassles and i tried it in the wash and it brightened my whole load. It has a lovely scent and it made it enjoyable to use.will definately recommend to all my mummy friends

Had chocolate sauce on my pants the other day and went straight to using the new Vanish Gold. Very surprise to see it works so quickly on the stain on just one scrub. Usually it takes me about 2-3 scrubs and i still have to soak it overnight to completely remove stains on the usual washing powder. So i am loving this product! Definitely works quicker and more effective!

I took some baby clothes out of storage the other day and they had lots of yellow stains on them that weren't there when I put them away. I threw them in the wash but it didn't remove them so I decided to soak them for a couple of hours in Vanish Gold. After washing again all the stains had come out and they looked like new again!

i usually buy a different brand to do the job but i thought that i would give this a try. i must say that i am fairly impressed. The littlies are always staining their clothes with food or dirt and everyone's socks are horrendously dirty! Most of their clothes came up pretty good with the exception of the socks. I will be doing some more washing with vanish and see how we go.

I have always been a Vanish user & was keen to try the Gold & have been pleasantly surprised by how quick & effective it is. It has removed most of my husbands stains from his grubby farm work clothes, I have no idea how he gets so much grease on him! This will be a staple in my laundry now.

Absolutely superb for soaking all those nasty toddler and school age child stains! Guaranteed effectiveness of spaghetti bolognaise and grass stains! Had tried a cheaper version but is not worth the small saving. Vanish Gold also works great added to the weekly wash. I won't be purchasing a different stain removing brand. i use Vanish gold mostly for my partners cricket whites as he generally comes home with green grass stains, dirt stains and discoloration around the collar from sun cream. i have been using Vanish for about a month now and although the stains still show i do see a difference in the whites getting whiter. i soak his whites with vanish to help get those tough stains out. sometimes its effective other times not so much. i would buy again as it does work.

I just popped a capful of Vanish Gold in with my whites - my 8yr old does Ju Jitzu so the Gi is always tricky to keep white. Wow! I can barely look at that Gi without blinking it's so white! Nice work Vanish Gold! I can't wait to try the stain test tomorrow afternoon!! Look out beetroot juice!

I love Vanish gold stain remover. This, and other vanish varieties are staples in our house. I can not imagine doing a load of washing without using it - especially with YOUNG BOYS who like to play in the dirt and give their clothes a work out. If they ever took this off the market I would be lost.

No matter how you use Vanish Gold, whether it be making a paste, soaking clothes or adding it to the washing, it is incredibly simple to use. Even though Vanish Gold definitely lives up to all the claims it makes, I’m not readily convinced that it deserves the higher price tag compared to other stain removers. Yes, i love vanish more and more day by day my kids school uniform,sports clothes,specially spots of sause,chocolates,sometimes i cant define the spots,but now i got smile o my face when i saw my son having fun in garden or play with mud..i am not worring about spots,i just love vanish,every time i use it i fall in love with it.i use it in my reguler wash also..so all clothes specially white ones looks brighter. thanks mums thanks vanish

I found this product to work really well, I used it on my children's school,uniforms and it made them fresh and bright, took all the stains out, I have also used this to soak my partners dirty white work socks and it worked wonders, it also has a lovely fresh smell, I would recommend this product.

I found Vanish to be a great product. We did the beetroot test and it worked very well, although it took a little longer than 30 secs for me, perhaps I mixed it up wrong. When adding Vanish to our regular wash, it worked wonders!!! stains lifted easily and dirty tradesmans work pants looked new again. really impressed with that, as usually nothing works!

I wasn't part of the trial team but i was looking for a new stain removal product so i gave it a go. Works really well at removing tough stains but i love it most as an in wash booster, removing stains in tandem with my laundry detergent. Look how bright my washing is!

I was lucky enough to be a part of the trial for this product. I used it as it asked on the beetroot stains & it did excatly as it sadi & took away the stain in 30 seconds. I have been using it on older stains but it hasn't done as much as other brands I have tried. My sons school clothes are a little better than they where but now I can action it as soon as they come home with the stain it will work much better.

Tried soaking some baby clothes stained with carrot over night and the gold made no difference. I'd like to try the spray next time. Otherwise product ok, no different to others on the market.

I use this most of the time and it does a good job on the boys' cricket whites, futsal and soccer uniforms and their general grubby clothes. However even Vanish Gold hasn't been able to restore my boys' yellow sports shirts to pristine condition. Nothing I have tried has worked for those shirts!

I bouht this at woolworths on special rather than my normal brand it great for school clothes and I use it to soak my husbands work covered in diesel and grease and my sons work clothes that are full of dust,grim and grease and the results are fantastic .it's also great as a spot remover this will definatly be on my shopping list.

I recently purchased Vanish Gold when it was half price at the super market. While I had great results with Vanish Gold and it did all it claims to do, I felt for the regular price, and compared to other stain remover options, it was a bit on the expensive side. In saying that however, whenever Vanish Gold is on sale, I'll happily purchase.

i have to admit, I was sceptical when I read of the claims made by the Vanish people. I have kids, dogs, hubby who is a chef......so many different stain causes and usually really difficult to remove. But I'm prepared to try anything new, if it works, winner winner chicken dinner. If it doesn't, back to the drawing board. I love the versatility and it's hard working power. For difficult stains, rub straight onto the stain and leave for 30 secs to let it work its magic, then wash as usual. For already dried on, old stains, dissolve a capful in warm water and soak garment overnight then wash as normal. I would, and have, recommend this product to anyone and everyone. I am a convert, no longer a sceptic.

Vanish Gold worked well on new stains but not so much on old ones, they tended to fade slightly but were still there, will try again. I will still buy when on special as I can't afford it when it is full price. Smells nice. Great with whites. Can't complain, good product.

I love this product but it does not work in less than 30 seconds at all! I use it daily to get stains out and love it but it takes more time. It is quite costly but definitely worth every cent. I would recommend this product to any mum with kids that make a mess and stain their clothes, I have only had one item that I couldnt get the stain out of but it lightened the stain! A great product better than any other on the market

Vanish Gold has makes very easy work of removing stains in my home. Grass stains, garden dirt and mud, dripped tomato sauce and pasta stains, beetroot, red wine, all disappear without trace. So as you see it's not just kids that make a mess on their clothing, us adults do too!

It really is good but i find it equal to White King Oxy Boost, i decided to try this as we had been using the Vanish NapiSan Plus - i then moved to White King Oxy Boost then decided to purchase the Vanish Gold - i find it great, it does remove stains easily. I will be buying more of this product as it is easier to purchase and available everywhere

30 seconds stain removing yes it works! Tried the beetroot juice test and it works! See the before and after pics! It is a great pre-soaker for kids clothes (it gets Vegemite, dirt, texts and more out of kids clothes, food off bibs, hubby's white uniforms and my horse gear. I'm really happy with this product too. I use it in the washing a home for brighter brights and whiter whites. Vanish is my usual brand but I'll be switching to vanish gold!

Just threw some in the washing machine with my Dynamo, got the poo stains off but didn't budge my old kids stains. Maybe I'll try soaking them or buy the spray

With two grotty kids in the house, I am always needing to remove stains. I have found that this product works on most things and does not make the clothes fade. The only stains I have not been able to remove are the turquoise texta stains from daycare (does anything actually work on those?!) and some strange oil stains I found that nothing seems to shift. Overall, I'd say this is a good product that I would use again, and again.. and again!

I liked this product as it had a nice smell and was easy to use. Amounts were on the container and I. Followed them closely for this review. I did the30 second teat on awhite tshirt with dirt marks all over: it removed stains well. Also. Tried it with my hubby's filthy work clothes. I needed to soak for longer, as they were veery dirty. But overall, good product. I would buy again.

I was a bit cautious pouring beetroot over anything although it was fun getting to put beetroot over material! I was pretty sceptical that anything could get beetroot out but using the vanish napisan gold oxi action was pretty impressive. I think the fact that it was cleaned straight away was the the main reason it worked so well but am not as confident if it was left for a little while.i think I'll try that next time

I trialed Vanish Gold with Beetroot as requested, I did the 30 second Test and yes it was so effective that I was Amazed but I also did a 30 second test the same way but left out the Vanish Gold and only used Water to wash the Beetroot out and this also had exactly the same Effect. so really the test was a waste of effort and Vanish Gold. I did a test however on old stains, I soaked the actual stain (old blood) I had for 5 minutes with 30 grams mix, then I washed the product in water and it had no success, so I soaked the item of clothing Plus other items with stains in a bucket of water and 30 grams of Vanish Gold, for 2 hours, I then washed the clothing in the Machine with another 30 Gram Dose of Vanish Gold and still the blood stain is on the item. 90 Grams of Vanish Gold and no success, Im a little unimpressed. the only Difference I can see from the original Vanish Napisan is an extra 30 grams or 3% of active ingredient. If as a parent you are able to wrip off your little darlings clothes the moment they make a mess then yes this product will help initially but with old stains I'd Rather not waste the time and energy and make that item of clothing a messy play outfit. I did see a tiny bit of difference in some of my stains but most which included rust from Pegs, paint and ink I didn't see a great deal of success that it would have me screaming about the product.

Picture says it all Vanish Gold did a great job on stains that are treated straight away. But as you can see the 4 hour Beetroot stain didn't come out. Maybe if you are able to soak straight away and I am sure in works wonders compared to other brands, but you are not always home to wash straight away.

I received the Vanish Gold along with beetroot juice, a timer and some squares of white cloth and instructions on how to do the beetroot juice experiment. This involved treating the stain immediately however as a busy mum I know that most stains in our house do not get treated immediately, they come home from school or childcare set in whatever they have landed on! I decided to do my own experiment as well as the beetroot juice one. I put some beetroot juice on one square, grass and mud on another, coffee on one and washable and non washable texters on one. I let all of these set overnight. The next day I treated all of them with a paste of Vanish Gold as per the instructions received as well as putting fresh beetroot juice on the last square. When the 30 seconds was up and I rinsed them all only the fresh stain had been removed completely. I then soaked some cloths in a solution of Vanish Gold for 2 hours and put the 4 still slightly stained squares in with these to soak. After washing all of the stains except for one tiny bit of non-washable texter pen had gone! Being a bit sceptical I later tried the fresh beetroot juice experiment but treated it straight away with hot water and a bit of dishwashing detergent, this too removed all of the stain. I will continue to put Vanish Gold to the test but am impressed so far with how it removed the set in stains.

Vanish Gold, whether it be making a paste, soaking clothes or adding it to the washing, it is incredibly simple to use. Vanish Gold certainly lives up to all the claims it makes however, I’m not easily convinced that it deserves its higher price tag, compared to other stain removers on the market. I do like Vanish products in the laundry however, I will only purchase Vanish Gold if it is on sale and cheaper than other choices.

If you can treat the stain immediately, Vanish Gold is amazing, worked so well, stain completely disappeared. Takes a bit of getting used to to use correctly but once you know what you're doing its simple and easy

this product has over time grown on me, my initial response and experience was that when I first did the 30 second test I got the same result after 30 seconds in just water, I have however soaked clothes in this product a few times and found some hard deep old stains are starting to fade. I prefer this outcome obviously as my daughter refuses to wear stained clothes. I do think this is not the miracle product it says it is, but that's because I am using it on old stains. New stains are easier and have more chance of being removed if you wash on the same day.

While I use Vanish products in the laundry, from the spray, the powder and the vanish gel, since having kids these products are so good at removing the stains that come with dirt magnets. I don't feel the new Vanish Gold made any difference in the stains. The grease stains didn't lift and the baby food stains from my daughter's bibs just didn't come out. I will continue to buy Vanish products, but I am a little let down by the Vanish Gold after all the hype

Very effective if treated immediately

I bought this the day I saw it arrive in my local woolies. With a hubby and 2 boys there's always plenty of grubby clothes to test so I set to work on Mr 1's tshirt (white) with food stains. Removed small amount of stain after a few minutes, then washed but no more stain was removed. Will keep trying but not 100% convinced!

After a particularly active and busy outing with lots of dirt and grime we decided to invest in Vanish Gold. It is a reasonable price for this type of washing product and was easy to locate and purchase. It was easy to apply and use and it worked well on the washing.

Vanish gold worked really well on the beetroot stain next i will try it on my husbands work tops that have grease all over them.

I have used Vanish for years so was happy to give a new improved Vanish Gold a trial, was impressed with stains that where fresh. But lets face it we can't always get to our Gold when we need it

i used vanish goldon our lawn bowls whites clothes. It was amazing. I went through the house and washed all the whites. Its great brings them up super white. I then used it on some of my colours. Same result. Thankyou.

i did the beetroot test and that worked really well, but that stain had not been there for a couple of hours so it worked the way it should have it came out white again. So I decided I would try it again and leave it for a couple hours(like I had been out to lunch) it took a couple of goes to get it out after I waited. So I liked it but may not work on all stains.

I bought the 500gm jar of Vanish to try as my son plays cricket and wanted to test on his white cricket uniform which normally comes back black and green from playing on the fields . Despite being a good quality powder , I found after soaking the clothes for an hour only certain stains were removed and I still needed to scrub out the rest with a brush . I didn't find it was strong enough to remove the really tough marks at all . I would only use it on lighter less stubborn stains .

I have previously used vanish products and thought that the results didn’t really match up to the adverts, so when I heard about vanish gold I thought stains vanishing in 30 seconds? This can’t be true! But to my surprise it was. The instructions were simple and easy to follow, and the process was completely mess and hassle free. I used the paste method which was

Was not as effective at stain removal on more dried in stains, would require a proper soaking and wash to remove older stains

Was not as effective on the older stain, needs to be soaked and treated properly to remove

I used this on a range of different stains on different types of material and i wasn't impressed by the results. Its around the same effectiveness as standard napisan and the aldi version. It didn't get blood out of tshirts even after trying the paste option and soaking overnight. It removed some of the grease stains on my partners work shirts but no more than the standard napisan does. About the only thing that i can see that is a real improvement with this product is the smell its not as toxic smelling is the standard napisan is. I dont think i'll spend the extra money to buy this product again unless its on sale for cheaper than the standard stuff.

Following the instructions and seeing other peoples reviews, I had high hopes for Vanish Gold. It was disappointing. The beetroot stain definitely did diminish but it was not gone. In both sunshine and by indoor light, the noticeable beetroot shadow was highly evident. It was no longer a vibrant purple but was still pink. The 30 second test definitely did not remove the stain. I will try it in wash and see what results I get.

Bought vanish gold to remove. Food stains on my son's white t shirt I've scrubbed I've soaked I've put it in the wash with vanish at 60 it hasn't removed the stains so far used a quarter of a tub washed it 4 times Do Not Buy get something that does remove stains

After reading many of the reviews and knowing this product "Vanish Gold" was on a half price special this week, I decided to give it a go. Well my honest opinion is the only thing Gold about this product is the price (you would have to own a gold mine to be able to purchase it) , even when it was half price it was still much dearer than my generic product and the generic works just as well. I really appreciated SAH13 review and in my opinion she hit the nail right on the head. This product may work on new stains but it struggles to work on older ones and all up when it does work it only works as well as other products on the market, definitely not better. I also appreciated Sarahsampsonite's honest video and experiment and agree that other stick products work just as well and sometimes better. In conclusion: Vanish do right by your customers and produce a value for money product that delivers a spectacular clean.
