Review: Swisse Kids Calcium + D3 and Swisse Kids Probiotic

We have just finished the probiotic and my kids love it! I feel like they have been healthier even though it has only been a short time we haven't had any sniffles. Could be a coincidence but we love it! Will be buying again.

After being selected to review Swisse probiotic (thanks MOMS) , it occurred to me I once had some inner health plus for my children. It turns out, i still do! Expired almost a year ago and hidden behind the jams, there it was ( and I thought i knew the entire content of my fridge). Both are great products but in cannot surpass the ease of having the Swisse probiotic in a handy place, especially when the kids see it and ask for it.

In the name of science, ;-) I gave these a try myself and they taste great no wonder my boy asks for his vitamins every day. The probiotic is quite chewy but easy to eat and the Calcium + vit D3 isn't chalky at all. Neither have a horrible after taste and having fruity flavour. The fact that they are sugar free means they're win win!

My kids absolutely love both products! First thing they do when they get up in the morning is ask for their yummy medicines. The 3 of them all love the berry flavor! They are easy for them to take and because they taste good there is no hassle getting them to take them!

My son has really enjoyed taking his swisse probiotic and calcium + d3 and I have enjoyed giving them to him, Super easy no fuss 1 pill and no measuring, Plus I know its doing him the world of good. Bonus is he loves the taste,

MY 4.5yo and 6.5yo have been comfortably chewing their multivitamins for a couple of years now, so I was happy to give them their Probiotic and Calcium + D3 to chew. They were both so excited to be reviewing the product and were nervous about the taste. The did the Probiotic first,

As you can see by the picture my kids are still, after 3 weeks happy to be using these products. I no longer have to remind them to take them, they remind me! They are still loving the taste, texture and everything about them. I have had not one complaint.

When the package first arrived we were all super excited and even me too! It has been a rough winter with colds and hoping these would help! The packaging was clear and easy to understand with no hidden nasties! Kids loved the taste and some morning ask for their vitamins before saying good morning to me.

The probotic is a massive hit in my house and I am in shock as the appearance of the tablet isn't visually appealling. Not having to store the probotic in the fridge is excellent. I think I might have some inner health plus burried at the back of my fridge that I keep forgetting about. Having the capsules on the bench is a good reminder although the kids will ask me for their "spiderman" (vitamin)

My kids normally stop asking scout vitamins but they have still reminded me every single night for their special vitamins! My eldest said he feels like he has more energy this week and I’ve noticed they’re a three sleeping better! We will Definitely keep going with these vitamins!

Thought I would update.. It has been a few weeks since starting these and they are still a big hit. Little miss is loving them, no reminders from me to take them she does it without prompting. She also has made sure there are some at Daddy’s house so she does not miss a day. As for health benefits I definitely think the probiotic is working, she used to intermittently get reflux especially after dairy, no longer an issue!! Definitely on our purchase again list.

Initially the attitude the kids took was not more tablets to take. The first day they screwed their noses up but that soon changed. Now they make sure I give them to them every day. I'm sure they watch the clock. No more colds or sore tummies since they started taking these. The fact they don't contain sugar I definitely recommend them

My 4 year old daughter was so exited when we received our package of Swisse Kids Calcium + D3 & Swisse Kids Probiotic. She couldn't wait to try them. She liked them both the first day. My 2 year old son refused to try Swisse Kids Calcium + D3 but was happy to have a Swisse Kids Probiotic, which he loved.

I am giving these calcium+D3 and probiotic to my kid. As calcium is really good for the bones and teeth. Its good to start early. I am adding these into his cereal and he's like mum giving something new and tasty. He likes the flavour even its added into his food. Love it when he' s eating happily.

Definitely recommended. We have been trialling this for nearly a month now and it has been a breeze. It’s part of our daily morning routine. The tablet is so easy to consume however we are still piercing the calcium capsule as it is harder to chew. My daughter sucks the content and we throw about the capsule. Will continue to take them and will buy more

My two boys loved the taste of these vitamins.. i get them to take a fish oil tablet everyday that they swallow whole, so they were thrilled when i told them that these vitamins you could chew up and they tasted great!! Unfortunately i had to stop giving them the probotic as it was making my 10 yr old having to run to the toilet. :( I would still recommend them to other parents. Thank you for letting me trial these.

With excitement and delight my daughter ripped open the parcel containing our Swisse Calcium + D3 and Probiotic. to trial. She wasn't impressed with her first taste until I reminded her she had just brushed her teeth. Oh, ok mum I'll remember to have them tomorrow BEFORE I brush my teeth. This was a better idea and she was happy with the taste. What was even better for her was they are Gluten Free. Sophie has Gluten Intolerance and Irritable Bowel Syndrome (as well as other medical conditions). Since she started on the Swisse products my husband and I have noticed a reduction in bloating and abdominal pain. Something that is making daily life so much happier for Sophie. Thank you Swisse for putting the smile back on her face and a sparkle in her eyes.

My last review I said my little one said the squishy ones were fun and said it was the probiotic. It’s the calcium that’s her favourite the berry flavoured capsules. She enjoys the taste of both but the calcium wins as favourite due to the fun factor

My little one used to kick up a fuss if I tried to get her to take vitamins. Not anymore, she reminds me daily when it’s time! They taste delicious and apparently the ‘squishy ones (the Probiotic) are super fun’

We were fortunate enough to be selected to review the Swisse Kids Calcium + D3 as well as the Swisse Kids Probiotic. My husband and I both take multiple Swisse products so trust the brand name to deliver quality products. Reading through the ingredients list I was happy to notice that there were no artifical colours or flavours. A big necessity in our house is for Gluten free products (2 out of 3 kids, and 1 adult are GF), so we were pleased to see that the products are Gluten Free. They are also peanut free which I know is of big importance for many families.

I my previous review my son was loving taking his vitamins, Well things have changed, I still have no problem getting him to take the probiotic (yay) but the calcium + d3 has changed entirely, He will no longer take them, I dont think the taste is the problem, It is a texture thing, We tried both methods as he is 7, He is not a fan of chewing them and I have not found a method of popping them and mixing it into something because they simply dont mix, They just sink to the bottom, So not a fan of the calcium but the probiotic is a winner.

We love these products, my son loves his daily "lollies" makes it so easy and hassle free to give to my children!

Love this product as it’s allergy friendly smells good and my kids loved the taste no having to argue over taking it as they enjoy the taste so much of a win

The Swisse kids vitamins have definitely gone down a treat here. The taste has been fine and they actively ask for their tablets every night after dinner. We will definitely be taking these tablets in the future. We will probably swap the Vitamin D over for the multivitamin though. The probiotic has been great and we will continue on with that. We are getting a little low and my youngest reminded me the next day to add it to our shopping list, so they pass all the tests here! Thank you for letting us participate in this trial.

So after a week of taking the capsules, we are still going strong. The probiotic tablet is easy to give and take however we pierce the calcium tablet and suck the contents out as it’s veru hard to chew. Overall highly recommended and will continue giving to my daughter.

Well the kids are loving it, they remind me daily that they need to take their 'vitamins'. Seeing any benefits from taking them is hard to say but certainly no complaints from myself or the kids so far.

My kids are just loving the flavour of the probiotic and Calcium D3.. i was worried that they might not want to take the tablets. But the berry taste has been a hit.. THe kids are now asking for them in the morning now..

My kids all love the berry flavour of the Swisse Kids Calcium and the Probiotic. They really love the 'rubber football' appearance of the Calcium D3. The 7 year old is excited to chew his 'bubblegum vitamin'. He always asks for a second. Knowing he can only have one a day has made them almost treat. A great way to keep them interested and healthy at the same time.

I used the calcium+D3 liquod capsules yesterday and found ot reaply easy to dispense and mix in with my toddler's food. He didn't notice the taste and the capsules came in a handy pod to break. I like that it is sugar free as I often worry about hpw muxh artificial flavouring and sugars a lot of kids products have. Haven't used it lomg enpugh to see the effects. All in all not a bad vitamin.

After having my 3 year old daughter take them for several weeks I’ve noticed an improvement in both of us. She loves them so much she reminds me every day to make sure she has her “strong medicine” (calcium + d3) and “jumping medicine” (probiotics). I pierce the calcium capsules with a skewer and give to her on a spoon which she loves (took a couple of days to convince her at the start). She seems more active and happier, and I’ve improved because I no longer have to wrestle a screaming octopus

My kids love the taste and consistancy of these! They actually ask for their vitamins each morning which is great peace of mind for me to know my kids are getting their probiotics and calcium daily

I recieved my Swisse products today and I love the packaging and the information given on it. Everything you want to know about the product prior to purchase is all there. After opening the bottles they both had a great smell to them. The probiotic container had a fair amount of powder residue within the bottle but so far I haven't noticed any broken or chipped tablets. The kids tried them and loved the burst of flavour in their mouths with the calcium tablets. They also commented positively on the great taste of the probiotic.

Packaging looks appealing to a child, my son is great with tablets so no powder form is great for us! he will love trying them out. no sugar is a major bonus in our books as we are very aware of sneaky sugar. swisse is a great brand and i cant wait for my son to try them for the first time

My son definitely has more energy, and not as tired, I really believe it has made a difference having the Vitamin d. a must for winter when you don't get the kids outdoors enough.

Thanks to Mouth of Mums and Swisse Kids for sending me the two products to trial and review. My girls love the Berry Probiotic - it is really easy to for them to take and they love the berry flavour. They even ask to take their vitamins and reminded me when I forgot. My youngest (6) ate/chewed the Calcium+D3 - without any fuss. My oldest (10) had real big issues with the rubber coating on the capsule. Then I read that you could mix it with water and so I tried that but she didn't like that either. It was really important for me that she took this one as she has just recently broken her wrist and I wanted to help her heal better. She took the capsule, she would bite down on it and extract the stuff in the middle and then she would spit out the rubber part. It actually made her gag a few times so I think she might be sensitive to textures like that. Overall I will continue to purchase the Berry Probiotic but I wouldn't buy the Calcium+D3 (even though I highly support my kids having this) - purely because my eldest wont take it. I look forward to exploring more of the Swisse Kids range in the near future.

We have been trialling these for a few weeks now and they are still being taken with ease. The toddler, who may be going through another fussy stage, has been happy to take these every morning. We will definitely be putting these on our shopping list. So glad we got the chance to try these out.

We starts off slow as my daughter wasn’t keen on the calcium capsule as it was too hard to chew. Now that we have found a work around, it is a hit. Every morning we have both tablet and capsul without any issues. Will definitely continue giving them to my daughter

Miss 3 & 5 love the taste of this tablet, it is a fairly large tablet for kids, but lucky my 2 have no issue with it. I am not a fan on the glass bottle that it comes in, as if knocked can break (which ours did), and being glass meant it went everywhere. I think for a kids tablet it should come in a kid safe container. over all so far, there are no issue with this product apart from the size

My two boys took these tablets from day one and continue to take them with no fuss every day. They say they taste like lollies and just chew them, they are 2 and 5. I love they have no added sugar. So these are a winner and I will continue to buy them afterwards.

Im hoping the probiotics are going to help the kids kick the but of all the bad bugs that come their way this season.. Thank you Swisse for allowing my family to sample the products..

Day 5 reviews! The picture explains it all Lol! Swisse calcium + D3: This gets the highest vote from my boys! They love the chewy coating with the surprise squirt of "berry goo"in the middle! What I love about this product is that Swisse has made this product FUN! Its not a chore, I don't need to force them to have it, they simply enjoy taking it.! I would definitely consider purchasing these in the future to maintain my 3 year old sons calcium levels. Swisse probiotic: Although my boys don't rate these as high as the calcium + D3 they still have no problem taking it daily. They enjoy the berry taste! What I love about this product is I know my children are getting their daily probiotics and I know each capsule contains more cultures then regular yoghurt does! There is only so much yoghurt a kid can eat in a day! The convienance of one chewable per day makes my life a lot eaiser to!

Sugar free and tooth friendly is very appealing to me and my children. I want strong bones and teeth for my children and these products hit the mark. Gut health and good digestion influence me when trying products on my children. Growing kids need all the help they can get and they get them from the Swisse range of products.

Day 3 review of both swisse calcium+d3 and probiotic: Both boys have been taking both products for 3 days now. They both get there vitamins after breakfast and they both think its a treat! My youngest son is on a asthma preventer with the side affect lowering his calcium levels, so I'm really happy he is on the calcium chewables to up his calcium levels! They both love the flavour of both and have no problem taking either. Very satisfied so far...

So day two was a bit better. The probiotic goes down a treat but there is still reluctance on the calcium capsule. Today we decided to spread it on our fruit as it is fairly hard to chew into the capsule. This was easier but the taste (as my 4year old put it) was powdery. Will continue to be persistent and take them. Bribery at its best.

I was so excited to receive my Swisse kids probiotic and calcium + D3 today in the mail, woohoo! My initial thoughts were the packaging is nice, professional looking yet kid friendly.I read the bottles and was very happy to see both are sugar free and both are chewable- big bonus points for us! My children do not have any allergies but I was relieved to see that these both are free from gluten and egg to cater for children with allergies. Both my boys got to try each after school today and they both thought they tasted great "strawberry lolly" my youngest exclaimed after trying the probiotic. What a great product! Nice to see that whilst the packaging fits in to their adult range, so the kids don't feel they're missing out when we take our vits, they still have cute little figure on them. The tablets have a nice smell and are easy to chew. My boy had no problem taking them.

After using for a couple of weeks my son seems to be loving them. Easy to take and it has made me very interested in the other kids products they have based on price. Love that it is teeth friendly also and sugar free!

After finishing our samples I have asked the kids if they want to continue or try another product! All three shouted unanimously “keep these!!” When I asked why they said they loved the taste, they loved the textures and most of all they loved the way they made them feel! We are now converts!!

Swisse Kids sell terrific products that all the kids love. My recommendation to other Mums is let your kids try them, you won't be disappointed. A lot of scientific study has gone into the preparation of these products. No sugar makes me feel great about giving these tablets to children. I am sure all children would love the taste. I trust Swisse Kids and it is a brand that is popular in the market.

It has been a miserable weather weekend here and no sunshine to be had but at least we have had our Vitamin D intake. There has been no problems getting Mr 3 to take either of these chewable vitamins and he always asks for more. They smell great too I might have to take them myself!

The Berry flavour was a hit with the kids. It was so exciting to receive Swisse Kids Probiotic and Swisse Kids calcium +D3 in the mail. The fact that it is sugar free and tastes like a milk shake is a bonus. I have to hide the bottles or they would want to eat them all the time.

When the vitamins arrived everyone was very excited! So was mummy as this was a tough winter with colds! The packaging is clear and easy to read which was great. No hidden nasties, another tick! The taste well lets say the kids loved it and some morning before they say good morning they ask for their vitamin..!

After trying the probiotics and calcium + D3 for a little over a week now I can safely say they’re a hit. My 3 year old now asks daily for her “strong medicine and jumping medicine” (apparently probiotics make her jump better). It was trial and error for the first couple of days with the calcium capsules. I ended up ignoring the suggestions on the bottle to mix with water, juice or cereal, as that stuff just won’t mix, however once she realised it “tasted like lollies” I ended up squeezing it onto a spoon and she was happy to eat it off that. I now have more trouble telling her she’s only allowed to have it once a day.

Mr 2 said they taste like lollies and Mr 5 said they taste like marshmallows! They both took the vitamins with no complaints.

First thing I noticed was the 'gluten free' wording on the bottles, I was thrilled with that as my daughter is coeliac. Score 1 for Swisse. I wasn't sure how the chewable probiotics would go with a 3 year old though, this could be an adventure, but they were an instant success! She loved them and wanted more (helps they taste like lollies). However the calcium ones went down like a lead balloon, she refused to touch the liquid I squeezed from the tablet (bottle said to mix with water. Yeah, no. Water and that calcium liquid don't mix, even when you stand there vigoursly stirring it for 15 minutes then trying to convince your child it's supposed to look like bits of toothpaste lumps in water). Plan B tomorrow I think, whatever that is... watch this space for my next attempt.

So overall we are not a fan of the calcium + D3, but the probiotic was a favourite for my kids

I love the Swisse kids range, predominantly the calcium plus D3 and the probiotic, my don is lactose intolerant so we use plant based milks and this fills in the void in calcium and D3, with the probiotic providing gut health to my sons very sensitive tummy.

I received these with the probiotics and on the first day my boys (2 and 5) were excited about the funny looking lolly and took it no problems. However on the second day my two year old refused to take it and has not taken it since. My older son squeezes 'the insides' into his mouth and discards the casing in the bin. So not sure I'd buy afterwards unless it came in a chewable tablet form like the probiotics which they both take with no fuss.

Absolutely love the Probiotic but the calcium + D3 is really hard to mix in a drink for my 2.5 year old...it’s just to thick. But overall it tastes good & my son likes it. The Probiotic being chewable makes it super easy for him to take and he thinks he is having them as a lolly when he has done something good.

We have been enjoying the Swisse kid’s calcium + D3 and kids probiotics each day since we received them last week. My 3 year old loves the pink calcium capsule (AKA “chewy bone” because there is a bone picture on the front so we explained how it was good for her bones). In fact she loves it so much that I found she was able to help herself as it doesn’t have a kid-proof seal. My 5 year old will also quite happily have her capsule each day and accepts it like a lolly reward. I personally like the sweet fizzy taste of the probiotic and would happily eat daily, but only my 3 year old will continue to take this one. Perhaps it’s the white chalky tablet form that puts my 5 year old off it. She didn’t spit it out but doesn’t want to take them anymore. We will have a break for a few days and try again. Obviously it’s too early to see the results of taking the supplements but I do feel happy to give my girls these products from Swisse. Thank you.

We are a few days in for trying the probiotic and calcium d3 tablets and so far my son is loving them. He is usually on a probiotic for his eczema and this probiotic seems to be working a treat. As for the calcium it's been great addition since cutting back on dairy although we have replaced it with vegetable sources

So this was the first time my little miss 4 has had tablet form vitamins. First was the Swisse probiotic. At first she was keen then was reluctant to try it. After convincing her it was good she took it. She didn’t quite enjoy the flavour but will take again and have water standing by. Next was the calcium tablet. We pierced the tablet and then tried to chew it but she struggled. Was easier piercing and ducking which will be our way to go tomorrow. Hopefully we can get through the whole bottle without any struggle

Second trial of Swisse Kids Calcium + D3 & Swisse Kids Probiotics and my 2 year old son would still only have the swisse kids probiotic. I tried opening the Swisse Kids Calcium + D3 putting the liquid in his mouth and he basically gagged. My 4 year old daughter had both again but this time had the liquid from the Swisse Kids Calcium + D3 coming out of her mouth and said she doesn't like it. She was still happy with the Swisse Kids Probiotic .

after trialing both tablets miss 5 wasnt a huge fun, but miss 3 loved them. miss 5 didnt like the taste of the tablets but liked the texture, whilst miss 3 loved her tablets each night. overall i wouldnt buy them again just as i prefer an all in 1 tablet rather then individual ones

To me vitamins are important part of everyday living People live such a busy life style these days and maybe miss a meal every now and again so vitamins may supplement this. With a lot of vitamins these days behing sugar free this is also a healthy benefit.

I would love give a better review of this. I kept trying, but as it goes with toddlers, some days she liked it, and others she just spat it out and practically clawed it off her tongue (not joking). The probiotic was a lot more successful than the Calcium + D3, but even that wasn't a hit some days. My daughter LOVES (LOVES LOVES) her Greek Yoghurt, so I was never that concerned for that, but I hoped she would get benefits from the calcium + D3. I found I had to put it into things such as her yoghurt and/or smoothies to get her to take it. I will say, I love that these are sugar free and are very easy to mix into food for smaller children. I've liked Swisse adult vitamins, so I will keep an eye out now for the kids range to help where my miss is lacking,.

My son loved the calcium & squeezing it out. He loved the taste. I however, didn’t like the way it stuck to the inside of cups. I don’t think it’s very user friendly

Was very excited to try these with my toddler. The first attempt ended in failure. She put the Kids Probiotic to her lips, slightly licked and spat it back out. I decided to try one, the berry flavour was strong and very sweet. Second attempt, this time she ate it. Must have liked it because she grabbed the container and asked for more. The Calcium + D3 was a bit more difficult. After reading some difficulties of toothpaste in their milk/drink, I decided to just squirt it directly in the mouth. There was a bit of face scrunching at that. Will try again today.

Gave my toddler some of the probiotics to chew on and he finished it and begged me for more! no more having to hide it in food! Great progress. The only sigguestion I habe is for some 2 year olds you might like to make it dissolvable in the mouth rather than cjewable so its a little easier. All in all doing well.

My son is reminding daily that it’s vitamin time. He loves the taste. My son is autistic & struggles with certaint tastes & textures. But he is loving these vitamins

My 2 year old son loves the Swisse Kids Probiotic and gets excited to have it. He even asks for more. He refuses to even try the Swisse Kids Calcium + D3, which is frustrating because he is a fussy eater and I was hoping this would help with his vitamin intake. My 4 year old daughter is not keen on having either of the products anymore but I will keep trying as I know probiotics are great for gut health and extra calcium and D3 are important.

I loved that the Swisse vitamins are in a cute packaging. The tablets are a little hard to chew for a two year old however the calcium and D3 liquid capsules were really easy to add to my toddler's drink and no complaints! Cant wait to see the difference in this actibe toddler's emergy amd health after a few weeks of these products!

So convenient for travel not having to put them in the fridge my kids have been having these daily and are loving the flavour the weather is hot and cold and generally my kids get runny noses ect but since starting these vitamins they haven’t had any signs of sickness I’m believing they are working highly recommending these.

My 2.5 year old has continued to be hit and miss with these. The Calcium + D3 are quite sweet and while my daughter loves her naturally sweet fruits, doesn't like "sweets" so some days she is ok, some days she wont eat it. The probiotic I have pierced and squeezed directly into her mouth, with a very sour face at me for it. Although she its ok in her smoothies.

my girls (3 &5) love this tablet. they are aware they are tablets and help them. they take them just before bed along with another multivitamin. Miss 5 says she likes the taste of this tablet alot more than the calcium one, and miss 3 does not seem to have an opinion. Even though the package states not to give whole to this age group my 2 dont seem to have an issue taking them whole

Miss2.5 still loves the probiotic and keeps asking for it throughout the day. Mister5 however said it leaves an aftertaste in his mouth and he doesnt like it. I do see an improvement in miss 2.5's bowel movememt and interest in food. The calcium however is a hard pill to swallow. I tried juice, yoghurt, cereal - nope, nope, nope. I wonder if I can add it to my pancake mix or muffins?

Great product overall love that the tablets are chewable and easy to administer my kids loved the flavour of the probiotic but the calcium liquid capsule not so much. I would recommend the pro biotic also great it doesn’t have to be refrigerated so great to take anywhere with you and not have to worry about it staying cold. Swisse is a known brand and a lot of place stock it so it’s also not hard to find

I give my kids swiss brand probotics tablets, I used to give them powedered version but we don't use it as the kids say they can taste it. since my kids is also fussy with liquid, theres nothing I could put the powder in. the tablets is better, my kids are 9 and 11 so they are able to swallow the whole. they also have multivitamins chewable. it took my kids a long time to get used to the taste, they weren't keen but its either that or liquid version. they both have 2 chewables to get it over done with. I trust this brand to help out what my children may be missing out on. I wouldn't stop using this brand. just the flavour taste my kids are fussy in, I normally just tell them to stuck it up :)

Doesn't matter whether its food, drink , watch or etc . Swiss brand is the only which always stay on top of our list. Lindt choclate is favourite and very special in our familly, in almost every occasion. So , I must say once you will try this . You can never leave this brand just on shelves in store. It is a must buy and easily affordable brand.

My child loved the taste of the Kids Probiotic and is still quite happy to take them and his stomach is very good from them as he as had problems in the past so I will continue with them. I like the brand and I believe in Probiotics so I am glad he likes them as he as had problems with his stomach and so far has not experienced any since he has been taking them

My kids were so excited to try these. Love the fact they are free from sugar and artificial flavours. No problems with the Probiotic whatsoever. The Calcium + d3 was a bit of an issue. My kids weren't keen on the flavour or the sudden burst from chewing on them. We tried popping them to mix them in but found they didn't mix at all.

I received my trial packs of the Swisse Kids Calcium+D3 and the Swisse Kids Probiotic. First impressions from my girls (ages 10 and 6) are the probiotic got a two thumbs up rating. The Calcium+D3 got a thumbs up and a sideways thumb - my eldest wasn't happy about the rubber coating which she found hard to chew. She fussed less with it the next day one but I do have to watch to make sure she takes it! Youngest one has not trouble with either apart from what ever is in side the chewy Calcium one but she knows they are to help keep her healthy and strong so she understands why she is taking them - I think the Calcium one will be great for my eldest as she recently broke her arm so I guess it will help make that bone strong again once healed.

So I've tried to give the Calcium + D3 to my children in 3 different ways now - in water, on their cereal and handing them a capsule. Points for trying right? How did I go? Fail! They are freaked out by these. Miss 3.5 (lolly monster) bit into a capsule, I thought it would be a winner as it releases a sweet liquid into your mouth much like a lolly. Sigh, she spat it on the floor and said "what is that?!" I am not sure if these capsules are beneficial for my children given the masses of cheese, yogurt and milk they consume and sunlight they play in however it is comforting I can call a Swisee naturopath on a freecall 1800 number as listed on the bottle to discuss any concerns I have.

Little Miss 3.5 stated that "The white one is yummy Mummy, but the pink one is yucky". Me: "Why is it yucky?" Miss 3.5 "Because it has powdery chunks in it. It's pretty, but it's yucky because it is white powder inside when I chew, chew, chew". Mind you, she still was more than happy to chew, chew, chew them both! Okay.... so now to try mixing the contents of the 'pink-powdery-tablet' into her milk or yoghurt and see what she says then.

My son loved the flavour. I love that it is good for him in so many ways and knowing it’s so easy to help his system. It’s so easy for them to chew and get into their little bodies.

Not only is Swisse a brand you can trust in general but they make fantastic kids products too! My 3 year old loves the taste of the probotic and reminds me daily to have her vitamin as she calls it☺ thanks Swisse.

Received my sample today! Excited to have the toddler taste test them. The packaging is very clear for ingredient information and what its for when selecting a vitamin/probiotic. I'm excited to see how the toddler likes the probiotic as we've just had a bought of gastro go through the house so hopefully it will help his gut.

I didn't realise how many vitamins and minerals were available for children. Not sure I agree with feeding kids so many vitamins, but good to know they exist if ever needed when your kids are lacking. Love the fact they are available in chewable form and tastey flavours that appeal to kids. Not sure about the sugar content tho :/

A few weeks into the trial, miss2 still asks for it daily. She caught a cold but got over it in a couple of days and I believe the probitics helped. I managed to conceal the calcium in her porridge topped with fruits. Im definitely getting more probiotics but im giving the calcium a miss.

My kids absolutely love this products! They both love the berry flavor! They are easy for them to take and because they taste good there is no hassle getting them to take them every day. We will definitely be continuing with this one.

My family on enjoying swisse Vitamin range with no trouble of giving it to my daughter she enjoys them we have tried them I’m swearing by the probiotic right now with this weather it’s hot cold and sick weather and we haven’t caught it thank god !! Also enjoying the d3 calcium on hot days we can’t get outside to our vitamin d helpful

My daughter was stoked to get to try the swisse kids tablets. It is great timing as she\'s just gotten a snotty nose, yet again. She told me that the white one (probiotic) tasted like vanilla and the pink one (calcium) is squishy and tasted like Peppa Pig\'s head (Hahaha who knows what that means!) and that she\'d have the white one tomorrow but not the pink. Day 2 she smiled the whole time eating both tablets but still indicated that she liked the white the best because of the texture. I just gave both tablets to her to chew, however maybe I should combine it in her milk (as suggested) in the future and see if she notices.

But woops - we've had a change of heart - One kid likes the taste of one and one kid likes the taste of the other... Can't win em all. The older kid will take them both - having a good healthy belief in the power of vitamins. Lucky for me, cause I'm not sure, as a growing teen, she has enough Vit D in her diet/life!

I give my grandaughters swisse multivitamin for kids and I find they can not harm a child. What the body doesn't use is excreted by the bodies waste products. Before given to a child you can consult your GP or pharmacy for their advice, especially if your child has special needs. Read instructions carefully check the age on the instructions and do not give as lollies or treats.

We are 3 weeks in and Miss 3 still smiles while she is moving the paste around her mouth. She says that now matter what I try, this one is still yucky. I\\\'ve tried mixing it in liquid, milk; thicker liquid, aka yoghurt, hummus, and cream cheese; popping the capsule and squirting it directly into her mouth. But she is always happy to eat it because she knows I follow it up with the other vitamin which she loves!

Miss 2.5 was having irregular bowel movements, bloated tummy, losing interest in food and mild eczema. Mister5 has on and off interest in food and eczema (we had to bandage his knees every night to prevent him from scratching it). I consulted dr google and thought probitics might help alleviate their problems. The kids were super excited to see it arrive in the mailbox (I told them its their dessert lol). I find the pill too big for miss2.5 so I cut it into 4 with a pill cutter while mister5 took it whole and they loved it#winning! Im gonna try it for a couple more days before I update any progress

We were happy to receive these to review and my daughter (6yo) was very excited to try them. Unfortunately, she was very disappointed. She immediately told me they tasted disgusting and refused to eat them! She said they tasted like meringue. She did try both types. I'm hoping they grow on her! I love that the probiotics don't need to be refrigerated! I feel confident about the quality because Swisse always has such an excellent reputation.

My three boys love the taste of the probiotic. They were very happy to just take and eat it. They even ask every morning if they can have their medicine lolly

Initially my daughter refused to have the probiotic because of the taste, however after a few days of trying she decided that she didn’t mind the taste and actually started asking for it. Still no luck with her liking the Calcium +D3. Unfortunately it appears the probiotic doesn’t agree with her and gave her diarrhea and now she refuses to try them again. On a positive note, I researched it and it appears that side effect is actually a sign of the good bacteria doing its stuff.

My kids are fussy eaters so I didn't expect them to like either but my eldest did. The younger two not so much I'm am going to keep trying tho as I really want them to be taking Swisses vitamins

I have found the method of popping them and mixing it into something worked because they simply dont mix, They just sink to the bottom, maybe if it was a gummy chew with a liquid Center would be easier to give and take.

My kids are still loving their Swisse Kids probiotic & will definitely continue to give them to my kids. The taste is great, they are chewy & the kids love them. They actually ask for them daily which doesn't happen very easily. It's not easy getting my two year old & four year old to try something new that's good for them but we're on a win with the Probiotics

I used the calcium + D3 in my daughters drink. Unfortunately she didn’t like the flavour and refused to drink it. I found that when I cleaned her bottle the white substance clung to the bottle for dear life, scrubbed it well and even put it in the dishwasher and a small amount of white still remained. Quiet annoying. Day 2 I hid it in her cereal mixed with berries and fruit and it was consumed undetected, didn’t seem to be any clean up issues either. Day 3 put it with her corn flakes and it was detected again and she didn’t eat breakie. As a Mum, I don’t like the mess on the drink bottles and my daughter doesn’t like the taste so we are struggling with this one... will see if I can sneak it in again. The probiotics haven’t been too well received (because of the taste either). Day 1, She was excited to try, pulled a funny face and declared she didn’t like it... I coaxed her to finish it. (Perhaps she was hoping it was as yummy as her orange vitamin C’s we give her) Day 2. Not too happy to have one when asked but she had one anyway. Day 3.... strangely she asked to have one and chewed with minimum fuss. I’m please that she is now trying them as they are so easy and convenient to give to kids and no mess or measuring.

For a 2 year old i prefer the powered type to add to milk. My son liked them the first few times. After that i couldn't get him to try them

The berry flavoured probiotics are a great way to get kids to take probiotics without the mess of powders, an added bonus is that kids enjoy them so much they will remind you that they need to take them. Unfortunately for us, my daughter did not want to take them anymore after an incident which may or may not have been linked to the product. The calcium + D3 wasn’t a hit in our household for a number of reasons My daughter did not like the taste whether it was chewed or popped into cereal or drink. I didn’t like the way it left a residue which was difficult to clean off. I did try both products myself and thought they were pleasant once I got over the unusual texture.

My kids love the Swisse Kids Probiotics & its become an easy routine to have their Probiotic daily. Unfortunately we have had to stop the Calcium tablets as they don't dissolve all that well when mixed with juice or water & my kids just aren't too keen on the the taste & because my four year old can see the substance in his drink he refuses to consume.

The Swisse Kids Probiotic has good packaging and the chewables smell nice. My daughter loves them and I have to tell her that she only needs to take one a day. Although the tablet is a bit big, it is easily chewed so I am not worried about choking. I am hoping that it really is a vitamin and not simply a lolly added with vitamins.

The calcium d3 capsules state to "pierce and squeeze into water, juice or cereal" for 2 to 8 year olds. 9 to 12yr olds can chew the capsules. My children fall into the younger category, so following the directions, it looked like a blob of sunscreen fell into their cups. It did not dissolve. Miss 2 had a sip but refused to finish the drink, Miss 4 refused the drink entirely. I tried one of the capsules myself and it was like a shot of lollies in my mouth. I was very surprised to see this product is sugar free . I'll try again on their breakfast cereal again tomorrow.

We were excited to try new multi vitamins this morning. The probiotic was a huge hit she said it tasted very yummy! The calcium + D3 not so much we tried mixing it with water and it looked like toothpaste she said it didn't taste very nice, will see how she goes chewing it tomorrow.

My son doesn't like the taste of the chewable vitamin d3 but we will keep trying he has broken his arm and it is not healing well enough so this will hopefully be good. The probiotic is strange when squeezed into water it turns to a big clump I will try in his breakfast cereal tommorow he has had an upset stomach the past few days so hopefully this helps.

I'm not sure about other kids but my son is hating the taste of the probiotic. I've taken to crushing it up to mix in his breakfast otherwise he refuses it. which is a shame as I love swisse products and take them myself

Master 10 loved the probiotic. Struggled with the calcium one, but was able to swallow it. However I couldn't get him to try anymore after the third one. But a big PLUS for the probiotic one. All boys loved that one, including myself.

The packaging appeals to mums rather than the kids and tries to appeal to everything that mums like us are looking for to support our kids. It is important to read the packaging though because the calcium supplement is not to be taken as a capsule or chewable as one would assume for younger kiddies, despite what it says on the front. I'm really happy that the supplements are largely allergy free but I am slightly skeptical about the sugar free label and wondering about sorbitol or similar.

Just received our Swisse Kids products and really excited to try it. My son is an asthmatic (diagnosed at 18months) and has been constantly sick since 12 months so am hoping that the probiotic will assist with his wellness and the D3 will aid his asthma symptoms. On 1st impressions my son is not a fan of the flavor of the probiotic. The calcium capsule he was fine with the flavor. Though I think I am going to find the Calcium capsules annoying to have to pierce each dose as that is what is recommended for his age (3.5years). Anyway hoping for good results

So our review so far is mixed. After recieving the products and emailing Swisse i found out that these are not safe for coeliacs (mr 3 wasnt happy). Mr 5 has been happy to take the probiotic every morning he says they they are 'tasty' and that they give him big muscles. But we are yet to find something to put the calcium into everything that we have tried has sunk to the bottom and not disolved.

My son was so excited to have his special vitamins. I loved that he was so happy to take them!!!

My child did not like the taste of these at all. He tried them a few times but as a 10 year old I was not about to force him to take anything he didn't like and the point of a review is to the get the honest opinion. He likes the other ones and while the tablets are good for him I am not going to force him to have something he doesn't like, I will compensate for the goodness of the tablets in other ways

I have, for the past few days, adding the Swisse Kids Calcium+D3 to my daughter's cereal. As the recommendation for her age, I have to squeeze out the capsule to get the vitamins. I tried from doing it directly to her mouth, using a spoon, and adding it to her drinks. Unfortunately, she does not like it. I think the taste is too strong for her. Then I tried adding it to her cereal. Lo and behold, it worked! She does not seem to be bothered if I add it to her cereal so now that is what I do. I just have to make sure that she finishes her cereal.

My husband and I try to lead by example and live a healthy life. We practise eating clean, exercising and taking daily vitamins to help our bodies and minds perform at their peak. Therefore it is a no-brainer that our two year old son should also be eating healthy and exercising... but our son is a REALLY fussy eater and being a headstrong and stubborn little man means sometimes we are just lucky that he even eats! When I discovered the new Swisse Kids Probiotic and Swisse Kids Calcium + D3, I was only too pleased to give them a go and see what his thoughts were. The packaging and product presentation is appealing and easy to distinguish on pharmacy shelves. I absolutely love how this probiotic does not require refrigeration which meant that we were able to pack it with us on our family weekend down south to ensure our son's immune system was at its best. While I loved Calcium + D3 and Probiotic formula's berry/strawberry flavour (which is sugar-free by the way), they are WAY too sweet and so my son would only suck on them, rather than chewing them and my husband refused to eat one whole as well. I tried them myself and while I consumed them fully, I also found the flavour was waaaay too sweet for me. I also find that the Calcium + D3 capsule casing (which protects a gooey berry-flavoured liquid within) was really and hard to break down/swallow. My toddler also seems to experience this because we would both bite the capsule open and suck out the contents. Overall the Swisse Kids range is a fantastic concept and a great way to encourage children to stay healthy, however these new products need a little perfecting in order to help them sell and for children to fully love and embrace them.

My kids are loving their Swisse Vitamins. On day two & 4 year old & 2 year old are already asking me to make sure they have their vitamins. The Kids Probiotics are going down like a treat, crunchy & tasty. The Kids Calcium + D3 not so much a favourite with the kids.

Second attempt introducing the kids to Swisse calcium and d3. After they refused to consume it in water, I prepared it to put it on their cereal. Miss 2 and Miss 4 freaked out and refused again. I offered for them to eat it off a teaspoon but that was also a no. I am not surenif my children actually NEED this product given they heavily consume milk, yogurt and cheese however it is comforting that Swisse offer a phone number to contact a naturopath on a 1800 number listed on the bottle. I will say I dropped the bottle and the lid popped off easily capsules going everywhere, given it says for under 8 years should not be swallowed whole, I would have thought the lid would be more secure. Unfortunately I cannot give a more positive review to this product.

My three boys 10, ,9 and 5 loved the taste and ease of the probiotic and happily would chew it. The calcium/D3 they disliked. They said it smelt nice but struggled with the texture and was very hard to swallow and break into water.

I love that this product is sugar free and also doesn't need to be refrigerated. My 4 y/old son loved the berry flavour and asked for more but my fussy 5 y/old daughter spat hers out. I will definitely persist though as overall it seems a lot easier than the powder we have been using.

As I have previously gave not-so-good reviews for Swisse Kids Calcium + D3(SKCD3), this one would be a good review. for the last couple of day, I have tried and actually succeeded (sort of) in getting my daughter (who will turn three this November) to take the SKCD3. I have actually added it to her morning cereal. It is sort of successfully as she does not eat her cereal every morning (it can be rice or noodles, depending on her mood) and sometimes she does not finish it.

Great to read that Swisse are a carbon neutral company and that it is 'based' on scientific evidence but what does that mean 'based'? I think it is a great product for those kids who need it but it includes a very low dose of D3 which might not be effective if you are looking for Vitamin D. No list of other ingredients so don't know what is in it which is disappointing. For kids under 9 that there is a warning on how to give them the tablet and must not be swallowed whole. I would have thought they would make it smaller for kids. Otherwise the product is good, without sugar and flavoured to encourage kids to take them.

I have just received both the Swisse Kids Calcium-D3 and the Swisse Kids Probiotic. I must say I am impressed with the packaging. It is compact and the design is pleasing to the eye. This is my first time in giving our daughter supplements other than Pentavite so I will see how it goes. Will post separate reviews on the Swisse Kids Calcium-D3 and Swisse Kids Probiotic.

After a week of trialling this product my 4 year old son is still loving them and asking for them every morning. Unfortunately I haven't been so lucky with my 5 year old daughter. She is still refusing to take them and insists they taste terrible, I figure success with one out of the two kids ain't bad!

Since getting my son to crush the probiotic he is happily taking it mixed in his breakfast. 3 weeks down and have noticed his respiratory issues even though still there are not as severe despite a slight cold. Will continue as I believe extended use is the only way to see full results

Swisse Probiotics for kids without sugar is a good product. Easy for kids to take as long as they chew, for smaller kids will need to be cut up as it warns not to swallow them whole. Has the required amount of strains of probiotic. One thing was disappointed to not be able to find what other ingredients are in them as there was no ingredients listed other than the probiotic strains. Bonus gluten and peanut free!

Unfortunately, me and my daughter are not a fan of the Swisse Kids Calcium + D3. The packaging plastic bottle is nice and colorful, it catches my attention. I love (but hope) that they claim to be scientifically proven and sugar free. However, the capsule itself is what makes this review negative. The directions for 2-8 year olds and for 9-12 year olds are different. For the former, which my daughter falls under, requires the capsule to be pierced/open to let the calcium+D3 out and mixed in drinks. The problem with that is the capsule is actually quite thick and cannot be pierced easily. I have to use kitchen scissors to open it. I actually tried biting the capsule to open it, the capsule tastes sweet by the way. The next problem I have with that method is that the calcium+D3 mix inside is not soluble in any drink. I have tried milk, water and juice. I tried putting it in hot soup where it got dissolved (I think) eventually but I am not sure if the calcium+D3 was degraded or not. It would have been better if the capsule can be also chewed by 2-8 year olds, like it is with the older kids.

The probiotic was a massive hit in our house, she loved that they are chewy and taste just like strawberry milkshake. I would definitely be buying these again. However the calcium +D3 was not liked at all, it did not mix at all with juice or water like it says it does, we even tried chewing them but still tasted funny

I am thankful to be able to trial these 2 vitamins but not 100% sold on them. No.1 negative is that it comes in a bottle that my 6 year van easily open and since he likes the taste he is tempted to eat more than the recommended daily dose (yes, you do need to keep it out of reach but it would be handy if the lid was made childproof). My 9 year old daughter hated the taste and refused to have it after day 1. Not sure if I would pay money for this product.

Master 10 tried the capsule for the calcium and did it like it at all compared to another brand. He found it very messy too.

The calcium + D3 has not gone down well at all with my daughter. We have tried mixing with water and juice, have even got her to chew them she still said they taste horrible and has refused to take any more. However the probiotic is a huge hit absolutely loves them its the first thing she ask for to have with her breakfast.

I found the mixing of probiotic in juice or water not really dissolving however my kids like the taste of it anyway! I also noticed it made there toliet visit regular which is a plus .

Got mine today the probiotics passed with flying colours got the thumbs up from my 5 year old. The Calcium + D3 on the other hand is akin to eating chalk doesn't dissolve in water despite being the recommended way to give to children under 9. These would most likely be received with more positivity from children if they were available in a chewable tablet format rather than the current gelatin capsule variety. I would definitely be interested in buying the other Swisse products available for children if they're in a chewable tablet format.

I found these very hard to piece and place in water it was actually messy as seen in photo. My 5 year didn't like the taste either.

It's the end of the trial and in the time that we've had the vitamin and probiotic I've had mostly complaining. Overall the calcium and d3 is a big thumbs down from my 6 and 5 year old - largely because the liquid cap must be popped open into a drink as per the instructions and warnings on the label, but it's more of a gross looking paste rather than a clear liquid. It doesn't dissolve well and doesn't taste flash. The probiotic fared a bit better. Miss 5 despises that too and won't go near it. Miss 6 doesn't mind it but mentions the fruity taste is a little full on in and bad way and makes her feel a bit nauseous when chewing it. All in all these vitamins were a big fail in this house and wouldn't be something we buy. However, it is good to know that swisse make kids vitamins and I'll still let other mums know that they exist.

After reveiwing this product and already posting a reveiw on it , I would like to see if changing the flavour may make it more appealing like a orange taste as my kids would prefer it better I think

I do not recommend the d3 and calcium supplement for younger kids, even though the packaging indicates it is suitable. This is because you are required to pierce the capsule and mix it into a drink or the like. Not only do my girls hate the taste, but it looks entirely unappealing and it does not mix well. My kids refuse to take these vitamins. In contrast the probiotic is great - my elder loves them, my younger not so much. It isn't something I am likely to buy again, but next time I may try a multi vitamin version.

This chewable tablet was not a hit in our house, the berry flavour was to intense for the kids . I did find crushing it up in their morning smoothie was more effective for them to get its benefits .
