Review: Schwarzkopf LIVE Salon Refresher

I wasnt picked for the review but based on what people said i went straight out and brought it!! I love the mousse that just you just tossled through your hair, I didnt like the smell much but it made my hair shiny and look fabulous. I found it takes more then 1 wash to get out again but thats fine by me. Would def buy again!!

I received my sample of schwarzkopf live colour refresher in red today, the package is bright and easy to read. I was surprised to discover the product works in 3 minutes and i am excited togive it a try. The mousse formula will prevent drips and help ensure a even colour through out my long hair. The packaging states you can get up to 6 applications form eacn bottle, Hopefully I will get at least 2 applications out of the bottle as i have very long hair

as the title says... great value for money...it was actually recommended by a utuber and i ultimately wanted to have it..it is actually something that can give u a good quality touch ups...if some one doesnt have time or money to go to the salon... by the way salons nowadays are on fire... dont know what are they gonna have out of a common man who just die for having a it of change in their life... i would love to have it for reviewing.

As a time poor Mum with twins, I needed something quick for in between. I found that this made my hair ultra shiny. It was easy to use and didn't take much time out of my day. I did find that it took an extra shampoo to wash it out, however this isn't too big of a deal. I would definitely purchase again, in fact I have already bought another box.

After my initial review, I had this sitting in my bathroom neglected. Being sick of my brassy highlights, I remembered this product - an easy fix without going out! This time around, I made sure I put in A LOT of the mousse. Two or three big pumps. Then I left it in till it was absorbed by my hair. When I rinsed, there was hardly any colour run. This time around, I could definitely see the difference in colour. A much richer tone and definitely a refresher! After leaving my hair to dry naturally, it felt like it had been styled at the salon. This is a great product for a quick refresh. You can shave your legs while it's working its magic in your hair. Use a lot and leave in till it's absorbed. Definitely recommend for the time poor!

I did love the fact that there was no messy mixing with this Schwarzkopf live colour refresher also that fact that it did not drip and there was no mess to clean up. I how ever found it did not cover my resilient greys. It left my hair shiny and growing though and very manageable. Would highly recommend it to folk that do not have greys as it does a wonderful job of refreshing your colour.

As a teenager I spent my weekends sweeping the floor of a hair salon. I made a bit of cash but the best part was the free hair styling I received and all the things I learnt. I loved colouring my hair and giving myself a new identity every now and then. Many years and several shades later I'm a mum of two, working full time and I just can't be you know what'd colouring my hair. Then I found this product. I know it's a colour refresher but is there anywhere that says it only had to be used on coloured hair? It is a great way to add vibrancy and shine to otherwise dull uncoloured hair and it is so so so easy! I love it!

I absolutely love this product! Instead of walking around with faded red in my hair, until I find a rare day where I have a couple of hours to refresh my colour, I was able to refresh my colour in record time! Not only was the time so important for me but the feel of my hair afterwards...it was soft and smooth :)

The product was easy to use and the results were brilliant. The hair was a beautiful and glossy colour and it was like a result from a hairdresser - simply brilliant

I love the end result colour to my hair but i absolutely hated the smell. It was definitely worth the discomfort of the smell. My hair feels lovely and soft and looks vibrant and shiny.

Generally a great product . Shower use makes you work blind ans wonder if you missed a spot. Also a little inconvenient as had to just stand there for 3+minutes. Couldn't shave my legs in that's ima as the mouse ( which was no Lo her a mouse by that time) would drip into my eyes if I bent down. I am yet to see how it covers my greys with repeated application. Grey coverage between colouring to me is more important than the vibrancy of colour.

I used the product for a second time and made sure I put a lot of foam in my hair. I also left it in for a longer time. This time the results were better. I do think I could have left the product in for longer for an even better really - so hot tip - use a timer! I found that there was more a of noticeable change in colour - my old foils were not as brassy. This product can be used daily so I think that initially, it will take a few uses before you know the amount of product and length of time required to achieve the results that you want.

First time using this product, the only thing I noticed was how silky soft and smooth and shiny my hair felt afterwards. As for colour, I saw no change and my greys seemed to even more highlighted due to shine. On second use, I left it in m y hair a little longer and I did notice the greys were slightly covered. They were much less visible. I'm hoping by the third try the greys will be even less.

I FOUND THAT SCHWARZKOPF LIVE IS GREAT WHEN YOUR HAIR LACKS LUSTRE AND YOU WANT A QUICK & EASY SOLUTION ITS EASY TO APPLY AND THE BENEFIT IS THAT YOU ONLY HAVE TO WAIT FOR 3 MINS TO ACHIEVE THAT EXTRA SHINE HAIR DIDN\'T FEEL COLOURED TO ME .... HOWEVER DID FEEL THAT IT BECAME ALIVE FROM BEING LIFELESS. EVEN MY 10 YO SON COMMENTED HOW SHINY AND GOLDEN MY HAIR LOOKED :)

This product was easy to use and worked great

I really enjoyed this product and would gladly recommend and use it. It was pretty easy to apply and the waiting time for it to develop was only 3 minutes or so. I rinsed it out and had no dye left on my face (as you do when doing a home dye). My hair was quite glossy and the greys were minimally covered. I think with continuous use it will cover more of the greys and that's great as it doesn't take long to use and will get better and better with each application. This product is an absolute God-send, as I struggle to get to the hairdresser to colour my hair and give it a treatment. I just can't seem to find the time to have a hair dye sit in my hair for 30 mins and then rinse it and scrub away at all the stains left behind - at home dyeing. This product has made my life easier and I can now achieve the colour and lustre I long for.

Easy to use, there is no mess, gives a good boost of colour.covered all the grey hair,left it on for about five minutes,would use again

I have used the product twice now and left on for a little longer the second time. The first time it did not quite cover the grey regrowth as much as I expected. The second time was a little better but still not great at covering the greys.....in saying that I never expected it to cover my greys but just refresh the colour I had already had put in......it did just that and the Colour was revived and had a shine to it. I loved that about the product and would buy and use again in between my normal colouring.

I love the fact that you can do this in the shower! However the red does leave a little colour on your hands and my white tiles. I found it took two goes to cover most of my greys. The first time I didn't use it though the grey was back!!

Having your hair dyed at a hair salon is quite an expensive process - especially in store - home salons are not so bad. So it is great that Schwarzkopf have tried to cater to the modern woman - developing a nice range of hair colours and shades and doing it at a price that it friendly on the family budget. They are really simple and easy to use. The only problem that i have is if you use one of the dark colours, that the hair dye tends to fade quite quickly.

I found the product to be easy to apply - mousse like consistency makes it mess free to use in the shower. It's great that you can get more than one application out of the bottle. I love that it doesn't require gloves for application. On the downside, I didn't notice much of a difference in hair colour after using it. The problem was that I probably needed to leave it in longer (I'm impatient and only left it in for the minimum 3 minutes). If I'd left it in for 10 minutes I would have gotten a better result. Using more of the product could also be helpful. I did find it a bit difficult to know if I had applied enough to cover my hair. Overall the concept is a great idea. You can use it once a week and I think frequent use would help with knowing the time and amount of product required to achieve the desired result.

The product is very easy to apply and leave your hair looking really shiny. However it does take a few applications before it covers the greys. Still a great product and would use it again but not when all my greys are on show ..

it was simple and easy to use not fuss at all, even my husband helped me colour my hair nicely without all the usually mess and stains that you used to get on your hands if you didn't put the gloves on. It was very quick and left my hair with a great colour and nice and smooth and silky and shiny, it also covered my greys really well. It is also great that it is not just a one use box.

So on my second application I used a bit more product in my hair and made sure left it on for the full 3 mins, much better results. I feel it dulled the stripe of grey, so the regrowth was much less obvious although by day 3 although I hadn't washed my hair it was like the refreshers effects had disappeared, I don't spend lots of time in the sun without a hat so not quite sure about this ?

Tried it this morning and found it easy to use but found the covering of grey wasn't quite as good as I hoped but I perhaps didn't leave it on for quite long enough. will try again next wash and leave for a little longer, I did like the shine and feel though.

By my third use I must have got the timing right for my hair. I found that it covered the grey stripe, from when I get my hair salon coloured, in my hair enough so it didn't look so obvious and because I get foils done as well the colours all work together well with quite a natural look.

I was impressed when my package arrived, The instructions were clear and easy understand and the product looks easy to use....love that no gloves required and can do in the shower, with no staining. Also quite a number of applications in a bottle so will be economical. Looking forward to trying it soon as my greys do show between those long salon visits.

I've just received the Dark Brown salon refresher and was pleasantly surprised to see that there is more than enough for at least 3 applications. The product is a mousse and comes in a can for easy use. The instructions seem easy to follow for use in try shower and I'm looking forward to trying it out.

I tried it this morning and although quite easy to use the grey coverage wasn't quite as good as implied on the pack, BUT I may not have left it on long enough.....might use a timer next time !! I did love the shine and feel after drying my hair though.

I have super thick curly hair so finding a product that has full coverage is hard to find without having to buy 2 or 3 boxes. This providing an easy application but I still needed 2 boxes. My hair did feel very fresh and silky smooth. Would buy this product again but wouldn't be my first choice of product.

The red colour refresher by schwarzkopf LIVE salon was in an easy to use mousse form. The product was applied fast and didn't drip. After applying the refresher my hair was smoother and glossy, however it didn't live up to my expectations no colour was added to my hair. My hair lacked freshness and it will not extend the life of my colour

I followed the instructions and left the foam on for 3 minutes. When washed out there was no coverage on the grey hairs. The next week I tried it and left it on for 6 minutes. Again no affect on the grey hairs. They were shining through. I do prefer the root touch up I normally use on dry hair before I have a shower. I found it inconvenient putting the foam on in the shower and starting the timer. I was not very happy with the product at all.
