This has to be one of the most loved and used kitchen appliance I have in my home. I'm in love with it! It's easy to use and can cook such a variety of dishes with no fuss and no mess. When your a mother with young children it's nice to know that when your going to cook the family a meal, it's going to be easy, fun, stress free and enjoyable. I like to hear my children say "this dinner is yummy mummy." It always satisfies everyone's tummies in my family. Winner!
Philips All In One Cooker

Absolutely love my Philips all in one cooker. I used it at least 2-3 time per week if not more. Working full time and with two little ones it really helps me spend more time with the family. Once a week I make yogurt, either from scratch or from prepackaged mixes such as Easiyo. I've found that over time the cooker smells like curry, so I've been making the yogurt in jam jars. Just recently I discovered if you fill the jars 3/4 of the way with milk and two tablespoons of powdered milk, pop in the cooker with a cup of water in the bottom of the cooker, thenusing manual pressure cook, set for two minutes (turn off after a minute). Remove allow to cool to 43 degrees or lower, then add two tablespoons of yogurt. Put lids on jars and set for 9 hour on yogurt, you get a really thick yummy yogurt. Peeling pressure cooked eggs is so easy... Cook for the same time you would on the stove, with a cup of water in the bottom, shells peel so easy. Cook your eggs on top of cut potato for 12 minutes, with a cup of water. You have potato salad ready to dress. Brilliant mashed spuds or other veggies. Mac and cheese in less than 15 minutes. Cook pasta with enough water to just cover for 4 minutes, then switch to sauté add cream and cheese till you get the righ consistency, Spag bol, in one pot. saute Onion and meat and rest of veggies, pasta sauce and herbs. Break spaghetti in half stir ensure pasta is just covered by liquid add more water if needed, pressure cook 15 minutes, perfect. Even my husband throws the curries or stews in the pressure cooker when you don't have much time to cook, perfect ever time or does a slow cook. Okay the recipe book is not much use but if you surf the net for similar products like the instant pot, you can pretty much follow their recipes. Would love to see a web site specifically for the Philips all in one cooker, as with all the options available to cook with in this machine, it gets confusing which method to use. The chocolate cake recipe that comes in the book is yummy, I now cook mine in a tin with in the pot. Why heat up a whole oven and waste all that power, now I don't have to. Cook steamed fish with lemon juice and herbs on the rack, with a cup of water 15 minutes steam mode. Cooked a 1.8kg chicken in 26 minutes on pressure. I could go on... Great product, now Philips lets just get a web page with recipes only for this product.
Slow Cooker Shared
by mom93821Combined rating
After cooking a slow cooked meal in my slow cooker for my friend she was suitably impressed and I loaned my slow cooker to her to trial. She trialled the slow cooker and she is now converted to slow cooking in a slow cooker and she put it on her Christmas list! I am waiting for my invite to dinner!
Slow Cooker
by mom93821Combined rating
I absolutely love our slow cooker and it is our most used appliance in the kitchen. We love to put all of the ingredients in the slow cooker and turn it on and then go about the rest of the day. The food is cooked to perfection and we would be lost without it!
It's the Wonder Machine!
by RoubaCombined rating
So I got home today & had 1 hour before dinner was supposed to be served. I had taken out some Beef Gravy early in the morning thinking I would make a casserole but I knew I wouldn't have time now as the Beef needs at least an hour to cook & I would still need to chop up Veges. So I opened my pantry & found a jar of Beef Rendang Paste. I only needed to add Coconut Milk! Perfect! I quickly diced the meat, browned it then I opened the jar of paste plus the coconut milk, threw them in the Phillips together. Gave a good stir, put my Phillips on Pressure Cooker Mode & walah! Dinner ready on time & it was delicious!
Still going strong!

I'm still loving my Philips & ever so grateful to have been chosen for this review. My latest creation in the wonder machine is 'Middle Eastern Chicken' delicious easy & on the table an about half an hour! You could even use the slow cooker method for this recipe! My recipe will be up in the recipes section so lease give it a go
Bolognese sauce from scratch
by mom140103Combined rating
Every Sunday I like to cook something along traditional lines, providing I have a bit of time and a bit of thought beforehand to get all the ingredients together! On more occasions then not, that means me zipping down to the shop at 3pm desperately buying last minute missing ingredients. On this occasion, I had everything ready to put together a lasagne. I slow cooked the sauce in my Phillips All in One Cooker- the tomatoes, garlic and basil infusing into the meat so wonderfully! Another hit with Hubby and Miss 3, this Bolognese sauce was amazing.
Childhood comfort food revival- Afritadang Baka
by mom140103Combined rating
One of my favourite comfort foods from my childhood was Afritadang Baka, a beef and tomato based stew recipe from my mothers homeland- The Philippines. Traditionally it would be slow cooked for hours, for the meat to tenderize, flavours to develop and the potatoes to soften. After a busy day of taking my daughter to swim class, ballet class, brunch with friends and then a stroll around the shops- I definitely did not have 'hours' to make this meal! So out came my Philips All in One Cooker, using the pressure cook function- presto(!) 40 mins later I am sharing one of my favourite meals with my little girl and Hubby.

I'm officially an addict to my new cooker

So I thought with the cold I would make my mums pumpki soup with Granny Smith apples so once all the pumpkin and apples and stock and herbs had cooked down it was as simple as putting my hand blitzed in the all in one and giving it a quick spin to liquefy the pumpkin and apples. The pressure cooking probably only took 20 minutes but I had it set to 30 so I probably over did it the pumpkin and apples were already half broken down before I blitzed them. But nothing beats my mums recipe and now I share my secrets with my sous chef my Philips all in one cooker
Meat falls off the bone every single time !
by MichelleCombined rating
So tonight we were giving mum another lesson on the pressure cooker to help build up her confidence using the exact cooker which i was chosen to review which she purchased after me telling her how great they are. She decided today's creation would be "Greek lamb with risoni and feta". Preparation took around 20 minutes. Most of this time was cutting the meat into cubes. We didn't need to brown the meat with this recipe so just put most of the ingredients into the pot, put it onto high pressure and cooked on meat/poultry. It took a little while for it to reach high pressure but the actual cooking time took about 20 minutes. The flavors were incredible and this would have to be my favorite dish out of all so far. The risoni thickened up the sauce so it wasn't runny. The lamb was incredibly tender and mouth watering. I will add this recipe into the dinner section recipes. . Another great recipe I will share and highly recommend. Mum commented that she loved that one the lid is sealed and the cooker is working is magic, you can do whatever you need to without worrying about the pot boiling over if it was on the stove top. Absolutely love the pressure cooker and I love that I can introduce this awesome new way of cookimg to people who have now changed their cooking style since I have been able to review this. Best kitchen appliance i have ever found! I love it!
My favorite kitchen appliance of all time!
by MichelleCombined rating
Tonight we made a delicious chicken wings in tomato sauce dish. It was a complete hit and the flavors weren't overpowering. The chicken was so tender it feel off the bone and tasted soooo yum! After browning the chicken and adding all the ingredients, after getting to high pressure, I cooked it for 15 minutes and released the pressure. Served the dish and family loved loved loved it! This took me around 25 minutes all up including preparation whereas cooking in the oven or over the stove would have taken so much longer. I love the fact you can just seal the lid and leave it to do the rest without worrying about anything burning or boiling over. It's so safe and gives me so much more time because I don't need to keep hovering around the kitchen. It's safe and so incredibly easy and so easy to get used to. Whoever invented this pressure cooking way of life has created an absolute gem! I have had my mum and a work friend purchase this exact pressure cooker after i told them how much i loved mine. . And they love it just as much! So thrilled to have the chance to review this. .. cooking again over the weekend ☺

So I've been trying to convert as many of my regular recipes to the Philips all in one cooker to save me time. Today's dish was no exception. I made chicken meat balls with lentils & spinach. Quick, easy & delicious! What more could I ask for! Another delicious meal cooked well in the Philips!
Still going strong!

So on today's menu is the lovely 'Indian chicken mince with green beans' one of my favourites! So as usual I always make this on the stove top. Today was different, I was confident the Philips could do this recipe justice but it was just a matter of tweaking the times & mode. In with all my delicious ingredients, on with the lid, popped it on STEW mode & it did its job. A delicious Indian favourite was in the table :)
Three words.... The MIRACLE machine!

What can I say about the Philips All-in-one? This amazing machine has restored my love for cooking, from the first time I used the All-in-one to the last it hasn't failed me. From sweet to savory I found so many great recipes, most of which were incredibly easy and time friendly. My husband has not had to cook in the complete 4 weeks of this trial although he has wanted to. Like most busy Mums I had found it difficult to be organised enough to have to have dinner ready at a reasonable time, although I have not had this issue since the trial began. This week I had misjudged cooking times (twice!!) both times I was extremely lucky to be able to use the pressure cooker function enabling us to eat without having to starve or snack. I have recommend the All-in-one to my friends and family, especially those with young families. I am looking forward to our future masterpieces in the Philips All-in-one, Thank you for putting up such and incredible machine up for review.
I finally got to make the yoghurt :)
by RoubaCombined rating
So when I received my Philips I looked through the book straight away & the yoghurt recipe immediately caught my eye. My family love yoghurt & we go through tubs of yoghurt like no tomorrow. So I finally had a chance today to give it a try. It was lovely, smooth & creamy but best of all is that the all in one cooker did all the hard work for me & the end result was impressive! Thanks Philips!
Is there anything the Philips can't do!

So I was excited to try another casserole in the all in one cooker simply because I was confident at how lovely it would turn out! I decided it was a spicy lamb casserole day.I prepped all my ingredients, I wanted to do it on slow cook mode but something came up & I had to leave the house. Never mind, when I got back I still had 2 hours up my sleeve, I knew I could use pressure cook mode but thought I'd try something different on this awesome appliance, I set it to stew mode for 45 minutes then checked it, chucked in my potatoes & pearl onions & another 45 minutes later dinner was done! Yum yum!
First meal down, second on to go!

Ok so my roast chicken is in the oven, my soup is on the table ready to go, let's get this pumpkin risotto party started. I prepped my risotto ingredients during the soup cooking time so all I do is throw it all into the Philips, pop it on risotto mode and off it goes to do its thing. Meanwhile I set the table, do a quick cleanup, remove my chicken from the oven & by then my risotto is ready! Straight to the table & dinner is served! :) Roast chicken with vegetable soup & pumpkin risotto!
Two meals in an afternoon!
by RoubaCombined rating
So I popped my lovely roast chicken into the oven & got cracking into my two side dishes. 1. Pumpkin risotto 2. Vege soup Firstly I started with my soup. In with all the ingredients, soup mode on the Philips, then off it went doing it's job! I Next I prepped my risotto ingredients whilst waiting for my soup to finish. Didn't take long, off popped the lid & my delicious soup was done, into a serving dish it went & ready on the table! Waiting for his friend pumpkin risotto to join him!! To be continued...........
Have I mentioned the Philips all in one is my favourite appliance?

Being Sunday I decided I wanted to cook something, quick, simple & a no brainer. I rumaged through my pantry & found a spice mix sachet of rogan josh curry. Perfect! Into the Philips all in one it was going to happen. I threw this dish together in a matter of minutes, set the Philips all in one & then off I went to have a rest. 50 minutes later & the aroma filling my house was amazing. I whipped up a quick cup of rice & dinner was served :)
I'm loving this amazing appliance more & more each day!

I used my Philips again tonight for a dish that I regularly make for my family. It worked so well in the Philips! It made cleaning easy because I usually fry the meatballs in a non stock frypan first & finish the whole dish off in a saucepan. The dish made I was a chicken meatballs with spinach served with rice & Greek yoghurt. It's a heatlthy, nutritious meal that is perfect in this cool weather. Thanks again MOM for choosing me for this review.
the most useful kitchen appliance in our household

When I read the recipe book for a first time, I was very interested in pasta recipe, it can be cooked pasta and sauce at the same time. So, I tried to make pasta dish this time. I was little bit worried about pasta cooked well or not before cooking. But the pasta was cooked perfecly, and not dry, still enough sauce, and of course, taste good! It's very easy and I need only one pot, no mess when fry the bacon as well. Over all, Philips All-in-One Cooker is working very well, cook very well, I can't find anything bad. I'm really happy to receive this wonderful cooker from Philips and MoM! I don't use soup, stew or yogurt function yet, but I'm pretty sure to try these function too!
Even makes me breakfast :)

Ok so after weeks of baking & making dinners in the Philips I thought it was time to try breakfast! I made the apple cinnamon oatmeal porridge. It was so ridiculously easy & tasty. My kids are porridge monsters & I make it for them at least twice a week. It was a lovely spin on the original & my Philips did all the hard work :) big thumbs up!
This is now our new favourite kitchen appliance!

Well 4 weeks into this review and what more can I say other than we just love this cooker! We are creating so many different dishes in this and everything is coming out just beautiful and it's doing so with hardly any effort! Today I decided to make a sausage hot pot and the end result is amazing! Overall Phillips this is one fine machine so a big big thank you to you and Mouths of Mums for allowing me to trial this machine!
LOVING the Phillips all in one cooker
by kitbarkerCombined rating
I used the Phillips all in one to cook my corned beef silver side, I normally cook it in a boiler on the stove top and it takes hours to cook slowly. I set it all up put the silver side vinegar and onion in, set the timer for 45mins and pressed start. I never would have though that it would have been cooked BUT it was and it was so tender and juicy too. I am LOVING the Phillips all in one cooker. I am looking forward to trying a chicken or rice dish in it tomorrow night :)
I just can't find fault with this little gem!
by mom62961Combined rating
Tonight I cooked a baked tuna risotto, yummy, it was so easy using the Philips All-In-One Cooker, normally I would have to use a pan on the stove and then transfer everything to the over, not this time! It is absolutely fantastic, I have been able to do it all in the one cooker, and having this Philips All-In-One Cooker, means I will now be cooking more of the things that I like and have put off due to having to use multiple dishes and cooking between stove and oven because now I can do it all in the one cooker! Thank you Philips and thank you Mouths of Mums for picking me to trial such a great cooker!
So easy to use! So easy to clean!

I have now made lots of different things in my Philips All-In-One Cooker, and I have to say, it is GREAT! From baking cakes and making stews to slow cooking meat until it is nice and tender, it does it All! I have not used my stove/ oven in weeks now as I can do it all in the Philips All-In-One Cooker!
It's my favorite appliance!!

Couple days ago, I made osso bucco for dinner. I was thinking to use slow cook function, but I realize I run out one of ingredients, white wine! I had to go shopping, but it's no problem because I can use pressure cook function:) I made this osso bucco couple times before, but I didn't own either slow cooker or pressure cooker, so I use to cook with casserole and took about 2 hours, had to simmer often. But this time, with pressure cooker function, setting time was just 35 minutes and don't need to stand by! We had a guest at the night, and finish to cook little bit earlier, but it kept warm automatically. Meat was so tender, sauce was reduced well. They were interested in the All-in-One Cooker, and we strongly recommended it! It's about a month since I've received All-in-One Cooker, I used it often. It's so easy to use and clean, and no fail at all. All my family (not only me) are very very happy to receive the fabulous appliance. Thanks again MoM!!!
A beautiful dessert ready in half the time

My family love rice pudding, but it is something that I do not make very often as you are tied to the stove constantly stirring. Step in the Philips All-in-one Cooker and you have a delicious rice pudding ready in half the time and you are free to do other things while it is cooking. I have cooked savoury and sweet with the All-in-one cooker and absolutely love it. It has definitely got easier to use after using it more.
This cooker is the best kitchen assistant ever!

So I decided to give my mum a course in pressure cooking and we made a delicious and very tasty Pork with Apple and Fennel. It just gets easier the more you use it and mum was so impressed she is going to purchase on herself after this cooking demonstration. I love the fact you just add te ingredients, close the lid, choose the setting and you can do whatever you want to until its cooked without having to hover around the oven. Recipe books we purchased are easy to adapt to an electric pressure cooker and the safety feature that the lid cannot be removed until the pressure has been released is great too. Just makes food preparation so much easier and gives you more time to do the things you need to do instead of having to stay over a stovetop for an hour! Cooking made so much faster and so much easier.. I really think that every family needs one of these great All In One Cookers! Well worth having.. I don't imagine I will be cooking anything over a stove again!!!
Great cooker for stews and casseroles, cuts cooking time by hours!

Tonight I made a casserole in the pressure cooker start to finish including clean up in under an hour! Love it! So easy to use and clean, I'm totally enjoying the Philips All-In-One Cooker to make dinner time a breeze. Last night I made Chicken Cacciatore, worked beautifully, the chicken was falling off the bone, yummy! Tonight Beef Stew, the beef was so tender. Both dishes loved by the entire family!!
My bolognase came out amazing
by carlene80Combined rating
So today I decided to give my good old tried and tested bolognase a go in the Phillips All In One Cooker and it came up amazing! I certainly wasn't sure how it would turn out as its one of those recipes that you have a trusty pot to cook it in, but was very pleased with how it turned out. Sauté for 15 minutes then pressure cooked it for 45 minutes and it was cooked to perfection!
Every function works very well!
by mom79844Combined rating
This week, I didn't have lots of chance to use All-in-One Cooker too much, but I made slow cooked pork ribs. It's first time to use slow cooking function. I put ribs and every ingredients in the pot, and set 8 hours. The ribs were so tender and fall off the bone easily! Before serving, I reduced the sauce with SAUTE/SEAR function. The temperature was getting high so quick, so it didn't take long time to thickened the sauce. (it was already high while the indicater was "heating") It's good that I can use both slow cook and pressure cook. When I have plan after lunch time, I can use slow cook function before leaving. And when I have plan during day time, I can use pressure cook function. And also make desserts!
Hasn't failed to impress!

Last night on the menu was a lovely steamed fish and vegetables. Couldn't get over how easy and convenient it was to prepare a healthy meal for my family. Simply put water in the bottom of the slow cooker inner pot, add in the steamer basket, top with your vegetables, seasonings and then fish fillets and taadaa! A complete and healthy family meal on the table in under half an hour.

So we decided to create Caramelized Pepper Pork and it was delicious!! This cooker really makes cooking so incredibly easy and it makes it fun! I absolutely love this cooker! From first preparing to the final serving, the cooking time is reduced incredibly and there is no concern about pots boiling over or anything burning.. its so safe to use and sooo easy!! The pork was incredibly tender and the the flavors were bursting... everyone loved this dish, although lets face it, our creations never appear as good as they appear to look in the recipe book!! I have fully convinced my mum to purchase one of these All-In-One-Cookers after creating a dish for her during the week. I honestly couldn't imagine not using one of these great appliances in the kitchen.. I am so lucky to have been chosen.. I love this machine and cannot recommend it enough to my friends and family! It really does make cooking a breeze!!!
Impressed yet again ;)

Ok this week on the menu using the lovely philips all in one was a pot roast chicken with some lovely vegetables. Couldn't believe how quick and easy it was to have a complete, healthy and tasty meal on the table for the family. I loved that I could just throw in a whole chicken with little prep beforehand and it cooked it so nicely. The only thing I would change is to have the skin on the chicken browned. maybe next time i will brown it in the pan at the end while the vegetables are cooking., Next onto the vegetables, again little prep and into the inner pot they go so that the philips can do its job. I will keep in mind next time though that as soon as the cooking time finishes to remove the vegetables as I left them in there to keep warm while I finished setting the table & attended to the kiddies and they overcooked a little.
Such a breeze and easy to clean!!!

All-in-One Cooker makes cooking easy!
by mom79844Combined rating
It's my second review here. It's about a week since I've received it, I was little bit busy to try to make something by using different programs. Rice- last time, I tried to make pilaf, but this time I cooked normal plain rice. Using rice mesurement cup (attached in the box), add water to the level. I like soft and sticky rice, the rice was perfect for me and no waste the rice because the pot is non-stick. (I use medium grain rice, the water amount may little bit vary the kind of rice, I think) Castard Cake with Caramel Sauce- I was little worried to bake cake in the All-in-One Cooker because I can't see the inside wihle baking. But it baked well, still moist inside, and again, not stick to the pot at all. (I lined slip of baking paper for lift up easily.) Creme Caramel- I used STEAM program for this. I had no idea how long should I cook, so I made test batch and set for 5min. Only 5 minuites, open the lid...it's perfect! I've made cream caramel with frying pan before, but I remember it took 30-40min to set. My husband impressed with it as well! Mexican Pulled Pork- Again, I had no idea about the cooking time (pressure cook), so I set 40 min first. It looked just cooked, but far from shred by folk, so I cooked another 20 min. This time, much much better. Pork was tender and easy to shred. Beef Stew- I used pressure cooking program again. I used slow cook gravy beef, cut chunk and set 25 min. Beef is really tender and vegetable was soft as well. Some of my friends own slow cooker and they said it's really good for meat, but no one own pressure cooker around me, I was not sure the meat is getting tender such a short time. But yes, I like it! As many people have mentioned, there's some mistakes of spelling in the recipe book. And tips written on the bottom is sometimes not right. (ex. Tip "Add water and pasta on top of the sauce ingredients" is printed everywhere even cake recipe!) It's better to re-check the recipe book by someone. There's 50 recipes by usin different cut of meat, so I can find similar recipes and guess the cooking time. But I think if something like "the average cooking time chart" (especially for pressure cooker) is printed in the book or manual, it could be very very helpful. All-in-One Cooker itself is really good. I can saute the meat and vegetables, cooking, and reheat. Because it's non stick, it's very easy to clean. But only one sad thing had happened... after cooking pork, the smell of pork (maybe from pork fat?) doesn't come off:( I serch on the internet, and some people say, the strong smell such as pork fat, curry, onion sometimes stick to the rubber, silicon, or plastic container. Yes, sealing ring and some rubber materials of inner lid smell bad. I washed again and again, try to soak baking soda, lemon juice, or vinegar... it's getting better now but still little bit smell. I'm thinking should I need to get replacement already...:( If you have any tip to get rid of these kind of smell, it's better to be written on cleaning note as well.
It bakes!!

So this is my second time using the Phillips all in one cooker and who would've thought a slow cooker could bake??!! I would never have thought you could cook a cake in it but seeing as it was in the recipe book I thought I'd give it a go, and voila - a cake was baked. The recipe book probably needs to be looked at more thoroughly though as the apple cake I made said with hazelnuts yet in the actual recipe there was no mention of the nuts. As my boys have a nut allergy, I couldn't use almond meal as the recipe called for so I subsituuted it with sunflower seed meal and it still turned out fine. The only thing that I found a little difficult was removing the cake once it was cooked, as the inner pot isn't like a baking tray but it came out after a few goes and cake was still in tact :) and it didn't stick either. Will definitely be trying some other desserts with this and maybe even try the yogurt function next. All in all, was easy to use and cake came out perfectly cooked.
So simple to use... such a functional appliance!!

So after our fabulous meal we created last weekend, we decided to create some Chicken and Veggie Stew.. which was so delicious and flavoursome! We actually changed the Chicken Caccatore recipe which came with this cooker and added some cubed potatoes..more olives and 2 onions, as well as sliced carrots and fennel. The meal came out like a vegetable stew and my mum absolutely loved the dish! I I used the pressure release method as you do with soup to prevent it coming out of the vent.. which is necessary with a lot of liquid. I also taught mum to use it and she is now going to purchase one.. I cannot believe how fast this cooks meals.. and with the choice of slow cooking which would create more tender meats, and pressure cooking, this can be used no matter what your time frame is. I was little unsure on how to use it but after the first time, its breeze. Tomorrow we will be making pepper pork for dinner... every weekend we create such delicious meals and weeknights gives us the option to create delicious and tasty meals in super fast time- without the need to hover around the oven. I love it... and think its the best appliance I have ever used!

I honestly love this machine! Today I've made a beautiful Lamb Madras in it using both the slow cooker and pressure cooker functions, and the meat is just melt in the mouth! This curry made quite a mess but it was effortless to clean it off the inner bowl and lid! I've al recommended this machine to quite a few people! Can't wait for my next creation which I think will be a cake!

First of all, thank you for The MoM Team! I'm so excited to selectied to test Philips All-in-One Cooker, and waiting for recieving it! (I'm living in WA, so it took a week since I got email and I've just received it yesterday) First, I opened the box, washed all components, and read through the manual and recipe book. I couldn't find "Safety leaflet" listed in the picture of User manual:( User manual... it's little bit hard to read. Recipe book... it's easy to read, all colour, and with picture. The method say cooking time both slow cook and pressure cook. (I realise I can cook really fast on pressure cooker!) And it's interesting to cook pasta as well! I will try to cook pasta dish soon! Today, I tried to cook "pilaf" using "RICE" in Pressure cook. I just wonder the rice cook well because some people said it didn't work well. I washed rice, place in the inner pot, and add water to the level. Then put all ingredients, select "RICE" and "START"! The cooking time on the manual said "14 mins", but it took about 10 mins for heating, then start cooking. So actual cooking time was about 25 mins. Finish the cooking, turn the valve to "Vent"... I was surprised steam came out and reach the ceiling!!lol Open the lid... rice was little bit wet, but I think it because the water came from frozen peas or frozen prawns. If I add the water less than level or defrost and dry out first, it could be perfect! It's not dry at all! ( 1 cup on rice mesurement is 180ml, not 250ml) I love Philips All-in-One Cooker already. Cooking made fun and so easy! Amazing!
by MichelleCombined rating
I received my cooker yesterday so spent last night reading through it recipe book and deciding what we were to make first. I opted for the Chicken Cacciatore and I had so much fun cooking with this! We used the paste (instead of the fresh herbs ) for the parsley and the basil and added that prior to pressure cooking, and also decided to add in the olives prior instead of using them as a garnish . It was really quick to brown the chicken and bring the other ingredients to boil. This cooker was alot easier to use than I first thought and honestly made cooking so simple! I have never used a pressure cooker before so was really excited. . And now I know how it works. . Next time will be even more of a breeze! After the pressure cooking had completed. . I released the pressure and the noise almost made my kitten (and myself lol) almost hit the roof as I had absolutely no idea what to expect.! The pressure released really quickly enabling me to serve up this delicious dish straight away. The chicken was so tender and the flavors created a beautiful combination. This recipe can easily be changed to suit your style. . By adding more tomato paste or chillies or whatever you desire. I'm amazed how fast it was to create such a delicious meal and I can't wait to create another tomorrow. . I don't think I'm ever going to move from the kitchen now I have found my favorite kitchen appliance! I'm thrilled I can review this. . I cannot recommend it enough!

A great all rounder
by Klsmith91Combined rating
My mum got this for me! I love it! It's a great all rounder and gets used almost every single day in our house. I love planning ahead and organising what I am going to cook, this fabulous contraption helps that. Highly recommend to anyone. Little pricey but definitely worth it. Thanks to mouths of mums for the reviews and Philips for creating such a brilliant product that matches my kitchen and is easy to use

The Philips All-in-One Cooker is all I need.
by mom109229Combined rating
I was lucky enough to win a Philips All-in-One Cooker from Mom in July 2015. This could be the best thing I've ever won! This machine is a pressure cooker, a slow cooker and a rice cooker. I can brown meat before pressure cooker/ slow cooking. I can even bake a cake in it - this is something I'm hoping to try out soon! We will be getting rid of our rice cooker and our old slow cooker. We've used the pressure cooking function the most as it is so quick! The machine does take a little while to heat up and to reach pressure but once ready, meals are cooked quickly! I am so impressed. The machine is easy to use and comes with a small manual which has easy instructions. There is also a great little recipe book that comes with it. There are also some utensils that come with the machine. All in all, the All-In-One Cooker is pretty amazing!
Double shortcut- weeknight rescue!
by mom140103Combined rating
So, I took a double shortcut- using a store bought slow-cooker ready made sauce sachet and my Phillips All in one cooker on the pressure cooker function. This awesome duo delivered a tasty mid-week dinner when once again, there was very little time and not very much love to pour into my cooking after a busy day at the office! I believe I had it in for a touch too long, the meat was not only tender but was starting to shred on its own- bonus, less chewing required for this tired lady :)
best kitchen appliance to have at home
by mom139865Combined rating
This is my go to kitchen appliance. I don't even use my stove top often anymore! the all in one cooker can sauté, pressure cook, slow cook so there is no need to transfer between pots and pans. my favourite dish to cook is my pulled pork. if a cook a big batch it can last for days! plus even if you use the slow cook function or the pressure cooker function to cook it, it is tender and falling off the bone. this dish is so versatile - can be used to make nachos, tacos, for sandwiches, burgers, even put inside puff pastry. gives my kids more variety for dinner options! definitely love having the Philips all in one cooker in my household.
Fantastic slow cooker
by AnnCombined rating
Well I decided to make a dish I always make on the stove and that was the caramelised pork belly with eggs (my boys love it). Needless to say, the pork belly came out so tender and melted in your mouth. Will definitely be making it again next time with the slow cooker, as it allowed me to do other things and forget that it was cooking away. Definitely makes things easier and saves me time for other things and not worry about having to stir the meat to stop it from sticking to the pot.
Making rice is easy & fuss free.
by RoubaCombined rating
Do I know the Philips can make standard rice but I wanted to try a particular rice recipe that I mske to see if it would be successful in the Philips all in one cooker. I was happy that it worked out perfectly & it meant that I had less cleaning up because I made my main dish (chicken meatballs with spinach) & rice in one place. Once I finished making my chicken meatballs with spinach, I spooned it out onto the serving dish, gave the Philips a quick wipe then made my rice! :) Easy!
I love that I can make my favourite recipes in the Philips without any fuss.
by RoubaCombined rating
I haven't tried a soup yet and this was next on my list for the all in one cooker. I decided to try a family favourite and see how I go! WOW! The soup was so delicious and best of all I was able to cook it in around 30 minutes as opposed to 2 hours!

Mother in law approval.. Tick!
by JoCombined rating
Okay so, this week I had the in-laws staying with us and like most of us loving spouses know the lovely mother in law can be .. lets say .. intimidating .. Well I can tell you she didn't complain about a single meal .. Even with the creative dishes!! She was also impressed with how quick and easy it is to use - (I love the fact it gives me extra cleaning time). I can safely say the Philips all-in-one has restored my kitchen flare. What haven't I made? I've made: Yoghurts, Lasagnes, Curries, Pastas, Stews and even made damper accommodate my stew! I don't think my freezer has ever been so full. I just want to keep cooking new meals everyday. Philips all-in-one where have you been all my life?? I'd be lost without you now.
A beautiful dessert ready in half the time
by caroledCombined rating
A beautiful dessert ready in half the time My family love rice pudding, but it is something that I do not make very often as you are tied to the stove constantly stirring. Step in the Philips All-in-one Cooker and you have a delicious rice pudding ready in half the time and you are free to do other things while it is cooking. I have cooked savoury and sweet with the All-in-one cooker and absolutely love it. I am understanding how the All-in-one Cooker works after each use and it is definitely easier to use.
Pasta time
by AnnCombined rating
Well, third time using it and decided to make an all time family fave - bolognaise sauce. I wasn't sure how it'd go in the slower cooker as I'm so used to the mince searing in the pot and stirring constantly, but this was fantastic and all the flavour were trapped inside so when it was done and I opened the lid, the smell filled the kitchen. This would be a good go to meal when I just don't know what to cook for dinner, and it didn't take long at all. This time I served the bolognaise sauce with some ricotta gnocchi for a change, but I don't think my boys were too impressed (fussy 2 and 3 year olds), however they did eat all the meat sauce which was good to know. Making it in the slow cooker allowed me to walk away and play with the boys before dinner time too, so that's always nice.
Loving the Phillips all in One
by kitbarkerCombined rating
I am loving using the Phillips all in one cooker, it is making cooking so much easier and best part about it is the isn't much washing up. I cooked an easy lamb casserole, it was a huge hit in our house and the meat fell off the bones. I cooked it using the stew setting for 6.5 hours. I have now mastered the times and setting after using it quite a few times its all trial and error. But the best part is if its not quite cooked I put it on the pressure setting for 15 / 20 mins and it finishes it off quickly. I am cooking a silverside in it this afternoon and im excited to see how it turns out.
You can have "Curry in a Hurry" with the All-in-one Cooker
by caroledCombined rating
I used the All-in-one cooker tonight to make Butter Chicken, something that we all love to eat. It defnitely did not disappoint. Using the pressure cooker, it created very tender chicken that was packed full of flavour. I am loving the All-in-one cooker, partiularly the Saute/High Sear function. This means I don't need to sear off my meat in a frypan prior to putting in the Cooker pot - saving on washing up - win/win :)
This machine is a winner for us
by carlene80Combined rating
We've put it to the test again today and has delivered! Today I done a mild chicken curry on slow cook for 4 hours, and the end result was just delicious! It makes light work of preparing dinner for the family, I love that I can just out everything in it and then get on with my day! I've already told so many people about this machine, some of whom have already looked into buying one! It really is one appliance that is replacing so many others that are currently in my kitchen! I certainly look forward to cooking each time I use it!
The Versatility is Endless
by HelleyCombined rating
I am so thrilled with this All-In-One Cooker. It really Does Do everything it claims! If you can ignore the glaring errors in spelling in the Recipe Book, these Recipes are excellent. So far I've cooked steamed Rice, Soup (my own recipe), baked a Cake, made a Chicken & Vegie Stew and cooked Mushroom Risotto (see pic). These recipes have used the Bake function, Sauté functions - both on High and Low Temperatures and the lPressure Cooking Function selecting the appropriate menu item for the Steamed Rice & Risotto as well as the Soup. All these has turned out superb, with no disasters and have taken the time the Recipes say they do in the Book. This week I plan to cook Honey Garlic Lamb Shanks (my own recipe) and Steamed Salmon using the Slow Cooker function and the Steamer Tray which I'm sure will be successful too. Overall, except for the errors in the Recipe Book I cannot fault this product and I'm already telling everyone I know to buy one!! Excellent, well thought out product! 10/10
An excellant addition to the kitchen of a busy mum.

Here is my second review on the Philips All-in-one cooker… Firstly, I’ve realised Philips only has one L so I can now spell better! :-) Secondly, still loving this baby and have been cooking up stews and soups and all sorts in it to my heart’s content. Still not found a fault with it. Last weekend I made nut milk yoghurt in it – sooooo easy! Popped my nut milk in with some natural coconut yoghurt as a starter on the Friday night and pulled out the yoghurt the next morning. Strained it to the thickness I wanted and OMG it was AMAZING! So happy to get some gorgeous (and natural) dairy free yoghurt back in my life. This week I made my mother’s recipe of pea and ham soup… though why we know it as soup I don’t know as it’s more of a ‘stick to your ribs and eat it with a fork’ mush. Still, it does taste better than it sounds and looks. I tried to make the soup on the low heat slow cooker for 8 hours. Worked okay, but was a little hard to stir. I did end up putting it on for the last 2 hours at slow cooker high heat and then was worried it would burn on the bottom. Don’t be silly! This cooker is idiot proof – which is why I’m having so much success with it. This weekend I will be trying a slow cooker bolognaise where I will use casserole beef instead of mince. And my next major experiment will be to make a bone broth in it to help fight the winter bogles. Why am I enjoying using the Philips All-in-one cooker? Because it is so simple and easy to use. I can bake brownies in it, create yoghurt, pressure cook a quick stew or let it burble away and make soup all day. Such a time saver for making healthy, wholesome foods from scratch. I still can’t thank MoM enough for letting me try this baby out! The only downside I have is Philips themselves wouldn’t allow me to post my first review with them… nor advise exactly why they wouldn’t. Nor have they answered my question about the warranty that says, in the inner documentation, that it’s not valid in Australia. So, are we covered or not Philips? Still waiting! As the pea and ham soup isn’t that photogenic, today’s pic is of my natural, dairy free, nut milk yoghurt!
Amazing all-in-one cooker
by mom139865Combined rating
I tried the Philips all-in-one multicooker last night. I was amazed at the saute function, don't need to bring out another pan just to saute onions. Everything can be done in the same pot. It was quick and efficient and the food had a lot of flavours using the pressure cooker function. Clean up was so easy. Only one pot to wash too! Would definitely recommended it as a must have household item
Fantastic appliance I recommend this to any home chef!

At last our newest addition shows up! I have been so keen to give the Philips All-in-one cooker a crack. Racing I get it out of the packaging and what a sight, needless to say I have since organised my benchtop to make sure the All-in-one is a permanent staple. The All-in-one came with a nifty cookbook getting my creative juices flowing! Hubby and I eagerly went through the cookbook provided and quickly whipped up a shopping list, then Hubby waltzed down to woolies and collected all our goodies. So after a heated discussion on who gets to cook which dish first, it's time..!! I decided to make the Chicken Tikka Masala.... So easy All you need is: 800 grams tinned diced tomatoes 2 large onions thinly sliced 2/3 cup of Tikka Masala paste (found in most supermarkets - Indian food section) 1 kilo Chicken thigh fillets Salt and pepper (to taste) Corriander Greek yoghurt 2 cups of rice Combine the tomatoes, onion, tikka paste, and chicken in the All-in-one and season. set the All-in-one to "slow cook/high temp" and set the timer to 4 hours press start and walk away. 20 minutes before serving put prepare your rice and hey presto! By unanimous decision, the Tikka is a new family staple! Looking forward to tomorrows dish!!

My goodness! My excitement of being chosen to review this product is more than I could put into words. When it arrived, I was so quick to rip it out of the box, get the recipe book out to see just what I could make in this little beauty! Best thing of all, this machine is so simple to use and will replace pretty much my entire cupboard filled to the brim with pots and pans. The fact that the recipe book allows for you to cook in either Slow Cooker Function or Pressure Cooker is fantastic, and what's more I can bake in this!! I love baking, and being able to bake in it is an added bonus... I have more cake tins then just about anything at home! I have already put it to use, cooking up my Thai Green Curry - recipe to be posted in Mouths of Mum's recipe section, and it has turned out a treat. The flavour is so much more intense! What I love even more, is just how easy it is to clean, the inner tub simply lifts out and then everything washes right off with ease!! Looking forward to my next creation.
Fabulous Cooker!!
by HelleyCombined rating
Wow! This Cooker is truly versatile. I don't think there is an equivalent item on the market which offers so much to today's cook. The cooker comes with some accessories, including a steamer tray and a Cookbook. The User Manual explains how to operate the Cooker as well as all the various cooking options available. This Cooker can not only Slow Cook but also Pressure Cook, Braise, Steam and even Bake which I found astounding. So I tried the recipe for Apple Walnut Cake as I was really curious how a Slow Cooker could successfully cook a cake. I followed the instructions, including greasing the inner pot (where the cake mixture went) and varied the recipe slightly by using four (4) apples - three of which I grated finely and folded into the cake mixture. The remaining Apple I sliced finely and, as suggested by the recipe book, place on top of the cake, slightly pushing into the mixture. I finished off by sprinkling cinnamon on top. Overall the preparation and actual mixing time took about 30 mins. I then closed the lid, set the Cooker to Bake and watched as the Progress Bar indicated how the process was going (from Heating thru to maintain Steam thru to Keep Warm) as the Clock ticked down. Once the time was up, a beeping sound occurs and you know it's all cooked. One thing to watch though is how to remove the lid. You must be careful to set the switch to 'Vent' to allow some heat/steam escape before removing the lid. I did this and then waited a couple more minutes before removing the lid. And voila! A perfect cake. And it was easy to turn out and did not stick. I wish you could have smelt how divine it was!! I'm absolutely thrilled with the result and the Cooker and can't wait to try out some more recipes!
Choose Pressure Cook or Slow Cook, so clever!
by MamaCaityCombined rating
I just received the Philips All In One Cooker yesterday and was so excited I had to make dinner in it straight away! I followed a recipe in the cookbook included for Massaman Beef Curry. The curry turned out beautifully!! I opted to cook it via the pressure cooker method as you can choose to either slow cook the dinner recipes or pressure cook, so handy! The recipe said it would take 1 hour 15 mins to cook via pressure but I think I did it in about 45 minutes, which is amazing! The beef was so tender and I love that you can brown things in the cooker before starting the braising. Very easy to set up and also washed up very easily. I am very impressed with the Philips All In One Cooker and can't wait to try out some more new recipes in it!
Makes an incredible meal with such ease and is so simple
by mom63891Combined rating
As first glances I was a bit stand offish about this kitchen gadget it looked way more complicated then it actually was. I love it cut my (standing there and cooking) time in more then half. It's so quick and clever. I have only cooked one meal but I have no idea how I was scrapping by without it haha. The only improvement I would recommend would be a spell check in the cookbook there were a lot of mistakes (oilve = olive and sphagetti = spaghetti for example) I made the meatball soup just to test the waters with this machine and it was amazing the recipe was so simple but the flavour so intense and complex. (Though the recipe was unclear as to where the potato was supposed to be used, recipe called for 2 potatoes to be mixed with the meatballs but then said you needed to put potatoes in the broth?? But they have already been used in the meat mix). Confusing. But I just added another potato to the entire dish. Can't wait to see what creations I can come up with myself.

So versatile!
by mom90758Combined rating
I decided to write an update about the Philips All-in-One Cooker because I simply love it and I cannot believe that there was a time when it was not part of my life! It is my perfect companion in the kitchen now. I prepared puddings in it that turned out magnificent. I use it regularly to prepare yogurt. So good! In particular using coconut milk and coconut cream instead of cow milk. I still love preparing rice in it, in particular brown rice. I would not go back to cooking it on the stove. Another dish I like is bolognaise sauce prepared using the slow cooking function. Full of flavours after cooking for four and half hours. I still enjoy the pressure-cooking function to cook pulses too. While I must admit that I don’t use the baking function much. Because the inner pot is quite high, I am somewhat afraid to destroy the cake while turning it on a plate. It did not happen the few times I used the inner pot to bake, but with some cakes I don’t want to take the risk. :-) A great product!! I’m so happy I got to review it!

One of the best things about the philips all in one cooker is that it can pressure cook and slow cook. So depending on how much time you have, you can decide which function to use. Both of the functions produced really yummy dishes as all the flavors are locked in and infused. I make this curry dish in under 1 hour. It was so quick and simple after coming home from a long day at work. Dinner was ready in no time!

This is just a quick review today, more to show off my latest achievement with the Philips all in one cooker. I made a very slow cooked pot roast, took most of the liquid out to freeze as stock and then put the cooker on sear high temp, made a gravy with the last of the liquid and put the broken up meat back into it. Sooooo easy, simple and yummy! Even my fussy child loved it. :-) Seriously, you can't go wrong with this baby. The pic is the pot roast with oven roasted whole head of cauliflower, zucchini and potato wedges along with steamed (in my TMX) carrot and brussel sprouts. Loved it as all so simple and the rusted old nasty stove top I wish I had the money to replace wasn't needed. I am using my Philips all in one AT LEAST 4 times a week! I just wish they'd get back to me with a solid answer about the warranty.
Helps you make tasty, from scratch cooking!

This week I wanted to do a review on making bone broth with my lovely new Philips all in one cooker. Sadly, however, I was unable to source bones and so have not yet made it. Does this mean my cooker has been sitting idle and collecting dust? Heck no! I’ve been practicing my nut milk yoghurt making skills with it and the end results are simply A-MAZ-ING! I’ve started using a Turkish kefir powdered started and wow! I put it on the other day and it was ready before dinner, took the yoghurt out and man it smelt so good. As this starter makes a drinking yoghurt, I could have happily whipped up a drink with something then and there. But I prefer thicker yoghurt and make it by straining it rather than adding a thickener to it. So I’ve popped it in the fridge a few days, I’ll strain it tomorrow and will then have a fantastic dairy free dipping yoghurt! Goes great with my homemade granola! So what else have I been up to? Well, my family love bolognaise so I decided to give bolognaise a go. But to make it a little more special I used diced casserole beef and made a slow cooked beef bolognaise ragu. That’s the picture I’m including today – It. Tasted. Great! I used chorizo instead of bacon or speck and it really spiced it all up. My kids have told me that is how I need to make them bolognaise from now on. Another experiment was to make a beef and vegetable stew. I ran out of time to slow cook it so did it as a pressure cooker option. It, of course, worked a treat! And the bonus was I put loads of pumpkin in it that dissolved during the cooking… and my kids still ate it. They weren’t too keen the first night, but the second night I used the Philips all in one to reheat it and added some cooked rice. Came out as an amazing casserole style dish that I then served with homemade spelt damper. Another thumbs up from the kids. Seriously, I am yet to go wrong with this baby! If you know how to cook and know how to use a slow cooker or pressure cooker… I highly recommend this appliance! If it’s your first time and you’re learning to cook, it has next to no support or decent teaching instructions so find yourself a good online group that will help you. As to the warranty question I have asked Philips about, in regards to the paperwork stating it’s not valid in Australia… well, they still haven’t given me a straight answer and keep going on about using the warranty of the place you buy the device from. So, I guess I will be out of luck if it breaks down as I didn’t buy it! Ah well. One day I hope to get straight answer from them.
Would really love to try it!

I'd love to try the Phillips All-In-One cooker. I've been looking at the recipes coming through from the reviewers, and the versatility of the machine looks fantastic! I love that it combines the slow cooker and pressure cooker in one. I've never used a pressure cooker, so I'd be very interested to try this, and having read some of the reviews, it sounds easy enough to use and convert existing recipes. Fingers crossed I'm lucky enough to win one this month!

So I wanted to bake another cake in my lovely all in one cooker so I thought I would try a recipe for a healthier red velvet chocolate cake. Thanks again for allowing me to test this amazing kitchen appliance!

You just can't go wrong with this Cooker. Not only is it simple to operate, but it gives you a great tool to experiment to your heart's content with your cooking! I even made a soup just using what I had on hand and just made it up as I went along. The result was a delicious and particularly nutritious soup that was superb. So far I have cooked Carrot & Coriander Soup (my own recipe), steamed rice - following the recipe book - turned out perfect, chicken and vegetable stew, mushroom risotto (see picture) and Apple & Hazelnut Cake. Every single recipe has been a huge success and I'm just stunned at the versatility of this All-In-One Cooker. I've recommended this to everyone I know.

I slow cooked beef stroganoff and it was divine. Ive never been able to master this dish cooking on the stove, the meat always is too tough. But not this time! It melted in the mouth and was full of flavour. The only negative was me putting too much cornflour in to thicken. Total rookie mistake lol Mr 5 and Mr 1 devoured it and came back for seconds. This slow cooker is truly making my life a lot easier at dinner time.
Time saver - hubby hasn't cooked in over a week!!!

So here we are into our second week of using the Philips All-in-one and I am still in love!!! At the moment my little angel is napping through the mornings so I have had time to prepare some amazing meals and have them ready to go for when hubby gets home. So far I have probably used it 5 times all as a slow cooker although I must say the lasagne I made (recipe in book provided) tasted amazing but it was difficult getting out of the pot it wasn't a big deal we didn't have anyone over that night anyways. The slow cooking function gives the flavors a real chance to go the every element in the dish and the meat ... ugh... so tender!!!! Hubby has enjoyed the break from cooking and to be honest I feel the All-in-one has inspired me to try new things and I'm loving every minute!

Second time using the All-In-One Cooker. Tonight's dinner was Chicken Soup with Meatballs and Risoni - Something to cure the coughs and sniffles in our house at the moment. Normally when I make Chicken Soup I have it simmering for at least a couple of hours to build up the flavours, but using the pressure cooker half an hour or so and it was done. And the flavour was amazing. I am loving this appliance and can't wait to try making something sweet in there.

Again I will just point out that the recipe book isn't very well done. For example, this recipe includes butter in the ingredients list, it doesn't specify if the butter should be melted or softened. This could prove to be confusing for someone who isn't a confident cook.
Baking is a breeze!
by carlene80Combined rating
So this week I decided to give baking a go, using one of the recipes in the cookbook provided! Chocolate Walnut Cake was what I chose, wasn't sure how the machine would go baking, as I was thinking that perhaps the cake might come out too moist being cooked with the lid on, but not the case, the cake came out just right in terms of moisture, and was absolutely scrumptious! This machine just keeps ticking all the right boxes for me! Will note that the recipe book does have a substantial amount of mistakes through it with spelling, I'm guessing whoever was meant to proof read it didn't do a good job! That's prett much the only negative I have!
Pressure cooker and slow cooker - fantastic
by AnnCombined rating
I received the slow cooker just over a week ago, but was away for a few days so have just opened it up and had a good look at it. I finally bit the bullet yesterday and decided to make a curry in it, so I washed all the parts in it and found it quite easy to put back together unlike some machines. Reading through the recipe booklet I noted that you could put it in pressure cooker mode and still get tender meat - not owning a pressure cooker before, I thought this would come I handy, so I decided to make my mother in laws chicken curry recipe, which usually stays on the stove simmering for a good 2 hours. I prepped everything and then decided to use the pressure cooker mode - all this was a bit of a trial and error being the first time - but after 30mins, I checked and everything was cooked through, chicken and potatoes were tender and cooked through. And the best thing was, it stayed in keep warm mode for dinner an hour later. Definitely will try more things in the slow cooker, maybe I'll even try to bake a cake in it next.
An amazing and versatile kitchen appliance!
by RoubaCombined rating
What a gem of an appliance! I feel so privileged to be part of this review so thanks heaps mouths of mums! I am absolutely loving the philips all in one cooker. I never even imagined that there would be an appliance that would be affordable and able to be so versatile. I have looked at purchasing the Thermomix in the past but cannot justify the price at all. I love to cook and am happy to cook with appliances that make my cooking experience a little quicker but I'm not happy to pay an arm and a leg for that particular appliance. So I was flicking through the Philips cookbook trying to decide what to cook and decided that since I had lots of mushrooms and Silverbeet in my fridge I would make the spinach and ricotta lasagne and the Osso Bucco. WOW! I was blown away by how easy the Philips All in one cooker was to use. I found it easy enough to use even though the user manual was below average, the All in one cookers performance certainly made up for this! I cooked the lasagne on the slow cook function and the Osso Bucco on the pressure cooker function. I was so impressed with both meals. My criticism would have to be with the user manual, I found it a little confusing to be honest and the Recipe book has not been written very well, there is spelling mistakes plus the directions of the recipe can be confusing. I liked how it was highlighted how to cook on slow cook method and pressure method but sometimes the instructions were hard to follow but I think because I'm a capable and confident cook I was fine, could prove to be difficult for a beginner. I cannot wait to try more recipes!

My 2nd time using the Phillips all-in-one and I cooked up my personal fave, slow cooked corned beef. To some up how it went down, all I could hear from my hubby ( who isn't overly fond of corned beef ) was these noises coming out of his mouth while eating mmmm, mmmmm, oh yeah, mmmmm. I gave him a funny look as i though to myself are you eating or are you in the bedroom hahaha! :O He said to me 'baby, that was so good i enjoyed every mouthful' So if that's not a good review, i don't know what is. I slow cooked the meat for 8 hours on low and whipped up the veg and mash in the last half hour on the stove. Mr 1 enjoyed it more then his birthday cake! One thing as i was washing dishes is, i love how light and easy the bowl is to clean! So much easier then the traditional slow cooker crock pot, i smashed mine last winter when i wash cleaning it!

I highly recommend the Philips all in one cooker in any busy family life as it is so easy to use as i run a business and i hate coming home to have to stand there for ages cooking when all it takes is a few minutes of preparing and in it goes and you can make so many meals and the flavour is to die for.

this is part 2 of my phillips cooker review. Now i have been using it a lot more and it is amazing how quickly this machine has become a part of the usual household routine. this machine sure makes cooking and feeding everyone a whole lot easier. I do tend to use this machine a lot. I love being able to chuck all the ingredients into it and come back to a meal! it is incredibly simple to use, clean and put away. It is a great size to leave on your bench or put away in the cupboard. So many settings to it that i am still trying to use them all but it is not overwhelming to just get something cooked. Definately give this a go if you can. I love mine :)

We loved the flavors it infused, the easy of use and the quickness is very helpful in our busy family! It is really great knowing I have the option to prepare something tasty and healthy for my family in a limited amount of time! We are so grateful for being able to review this and add it to our kitchen!

Slow cooking beef and making a tasty stew normally takes me all day and is well worth it. The All in one Cooker made this in 30 minutes! I couldn't believe that it was just as tasty (if not tastier) thank my all day cooking! I haven't tried it on the slow cooker function, but making it in the pressure cooker was amazing!
I'm one of those people....who always run late!
by mom140103Combined rating
The Phillips All In One cooker is amazing! For someone like myself who always manages to run late- home to work- work to home....detour via the shops to pick up nappies, groceries, missing ingredients(bottle of wine?!) I am always just scraping in, so dinner at my house is always either a grand affair organised and prepped a week in advance, last minute dinner out or just stepping through the door at 6pm and hurriedly trying to get something delicious and fairly healthy done with minimal cooking time. The first meal I cooked was the Honey Pepper Pork done with the pressure cooker- because once again, my awesome idea of a tender slow cooked meal cooking while we were at work went out the door the night before because I forgot to prep the ingredients to throw in before we left in the morning. Everything went smoothly, the only drawback I experienced was the sear function. It takes a really long time to heat up, I'd say a little around 10 mins- or it could seem that way because I'm used to gas cooking where my pans heat up nice and quickly? The pressure cooking function was awesome! So quick, and the pork was beautiful and tender. The flavours from the recipe were spot on and instructions very easy to follow. The Phillips All in One Cooker has already impressed with its first introduction into my household- easy to use and efficient! A big lifesaver for those like me, that are time challenged.

Easy slow cooker stroganoff with very little cleaning up.

I tried out the slow cooker function of the All-In-One Cooker. It was great. I made beef stroganoff. Added in all the ingredients into the pot put the lid on set the function to slow cook for 5 hours and when we got home from after school activities we had a beautiful meal with very little cleaning up. The All-In-One Cooker has proved very versatile, easy to use and easy to clean.

The philips all in one cooker is like the must have gadget to have at home. It saute, bakes, makes risotto, stew and yogurts. It pressure cooks and slow cooks. Not much that it can't do. Just put everything in and press a button. No fuss cooking and easy to clean. I cannot imagine life without it
So versatile you will wonder how you did without it.

I cannot say how fantastic and versatile this machine is. I made hummus from scratch, cooked coconut rice, thai green curry, and a moist chocolate cake all in under 3 hours. This was essentially a 3 course meal done and dusted, with minimal effort. Never ever have I wanted to make home made hummus, but the Phillips All in One Cooker just makes everything so easy in the least amount of time possible. I would recommend this for all who want to spend less time in the kitchen.
Awesome appliance to make dinner all in one pot!

I am really enjoying using the Philips All In One Cooker. I made a batch of bolognaise sauce the other day, I made my own concoction and decided to pressure cook it for 20 minutes. In hindsight not a great idea, I should have used the stew function instead as it did catch a little on the bottom of the pot. The sauce was really reduced and thickened nicely though. Despite it catching on the base, the pot still cleaned really easily.

Such a great appliance!
by RoubaCombined rating
The second meal I cooked was the lovely Osso Bucco with mushrooms from the recipe booklet. Again the end result was so lovely, I served it with mashed potatoes. I cooked it on the pressure cooker function and was amazed at how tender the meat had become in such a short time. I have never used a pressure cooker before but have considered buying one. Since the Philips All in one cooker is similar in price to some of the good pressure cookers on the market, I would definitely recommend buying the Philips all in one as it can do so much more than your average pressure cooker! Again the recipe booklet lets the review down slightly, it just seems like it has not been done professionally yet the All in one cooker seems to be the complete opposite!

Wow, what a fantastic appliance. I took this baby for its 1st test drive today, and im pleased to announce it met my expectations. I cooked spaghetti bolognese from the awesome cook book that it came with. Tweaked it a little to suit a nice slow cook instead of stewing, I slow cooked on low for 3 hours and high for 1.5 hours to thicken. My absolute fave thing about the Phillips all in one cooker is that i dont have to get out an extra pan to brown my meat! I love the count down clock, so you know exactly how long you have to go. While i still had my baby hanging off my legs, all i had to do was chop the veggies, wack them in, brown the mince, pop the rest of the ingredients in, set a time and hey bobs your uncle! It took about 15 minutes and i was able to spend the afternoon with my kids rather then slaving over an oven. The all in one did all the hard work for me. Im excited to take on some bolder dishes.

Meat dishes are so tender and fall off the bone. I have been cooking up a big batch of well seasoned meats in my Phillips all in one cooker and then using them in different ways to jazz up dinner so it's not so mundane. My kids love nachos and it's a great little way to hide veges and make eating them fun. The pulled pork for the nachos is so quick and easy to make if you use it on the pressure cooker function

One of the best things about the philips all in one cooker is that it has a lot of functions. Saute. Pressure cooker. Slow cooker just to name a few. You can saute your onions, sear your meats without transferring from one pot to another. Another function I love is the keep warm function. After cooking you can leave it on and the food stays nice and warm just right for your meal. Since I've had it at home I haven't used my stove top much!! Pictured below is me using the philips all in one cooker on the saute function

After seeing the reviews on MOM for this, I borrowed my sister in laws Philips All-In-One Cooker and had a go at making the Chicken & Barley Soup recipe, and I must say it was super easy, quicker and seemed to really lock in the taste, compared to when I make it on the stove top! I am putting in my order with hubby for one for Christmas, it was even easy to clean! My SIL makes all sorts of foods in hers, even cakes and slices!! A "must have" appliance IMO!

I didn't have a slow cooker or pressure cooker until now. I am so glad I was chosen to participate in this review. My time using it I cooked a chicken casserole, was just a basic and very easy to do. I set the timer for slow cook low temp for 6 hours, when I opened the lid after waiting the required time for the stem to release I was disappointed that I hadn't cooked it longer as some of the veggies were still crunchy BUT not to worry I wacked the lid back on and cooked on pressure cooker mode for 20 mins again after waiting the required time for the steam to release I opened it up and had a taste it was PERFECT .... My 2nd go was cooking a beef soup, I cooked this on slow cook for 9 hours and it was beautiful. I am looking forward to cooking a Lamb casserole in it in the next couple of days. I think I have managed to work out the timing now and am very excited to try some of the recipes out of the all in one cook book ...

So today on the menu was the lovely Chicken Cacciatore. I decided to invite my family over for this meal as my mum regularly uses a jar from the supermarket for her Chicken Cacciatore. I ended up cooking it on the pressure function as I was shorter on time than the 6 hours slow cook option. The result...Delicious! will be on the the menu again and of course my family enjoyed this regular. My mum will be using fresh ingredients as per the menu rather than the store bought sugar and preservative filled jar option!

I was sceptical at first, so in the short time I have had it I have tried some of my favourite recipes in it and WOW, the flavour is so much better, it is like t holds it all in, so much more flavour for me to enjoy, I love to cook and I am absolutely certain the Phillips All-In-One Cooker is my new best friend in the kitchen! It is so easy, I am not having to use a frypan and then transfer to an oven dish, I can do it all in the one cooker, I love it! I love it! I was so excited to be selected to review the Phiulips All-In-One Cooker as I've been looking at buying a pressure cooker or slow cooker for ages, but didn't really know which one would be better. Now I can have both! When the machine arrived on Friday, I couldn't wait to get started. I had already planned to have soup for dinner, so rather than making it on the stove, I decided to use the machine. The potato and kale soup was delicious and so easy to prepare. The instructions on the machine were easy to follow and there were no explosions with the pressure cooker. It did take longer than my usual stovetop method, by the time the pressure built up in the pot, and then released at the end. But not having to stir and watch it meant that I could get the kids ready for bed at the same time. I've also make the slow cooked beef ribs from the recipe book and they were delicious! I can't wait to try a few of my own recipes, now that I am more familiar with the settings and how the machine works. Stay tuned!

My friend has one of these and she made us all dinner for when we all came over. The food tasted amazing and she said it was so easy to use and clean. Extremly silent, no waste of liquid, very effective, no smell of cooked food. Amazing product! Slow cooking has been perfect, my favourite though is pressure cooking ribs . Pork ribs or beef short ribs pressure cooked on soup function in your favourite sauce. The meat just falls off the bone, reduce that sauce in a fry pan and put the ribs on a bbq grill to give a slight char and serve with reduced sticky sauce.I even baked a cake from the recipe book and it was yum! The only thing that didn't turn out quite right was a risotto, but I didn't follow the recipe book which I will do next time. Really easy to clean. I recommend this to everyone whenever the subject of cooking comes up!

I am really enjoying using the Philips All-In-One Cooker! I love the pressure cooking feature to speed up your dinners, and I'm sure at times it will be handy to be able to slow cook and put dinner on in the mornings although I haven't tried this as yet as mornings are a little hectic in my house! I made the most amazing risotto the other day, using the risotto setting! Pork and fennel sausage risotto using the recipe in the book that comes with the cooker. Delicious, husband loved it, little ones not a fan but I think that was the fennel which they had not had before. I am very impressed! I don't make risotto normally, on Masterchef they call it the death dish so I haven't ever bothered myself but this was honestly exactly how risotto should be! I also made chicken and chickpea tagine which was delicious, loved by all! I really like that you can brown things in the same pot that you pressure cook in AND the pot is so easily cleaned! I made porridge using the recipe in the book but mistakenly added the milk before I was supposed to and it caught on the pot but it washed off so easily, got to love that! I'm really enjoying the cooker!

Now I love risotto more then anyone should so this was the real make or break moment for me with my new machine. But making white wine and wild mushroom risotto was a breeze and the best part was the clean up was so so easy. The bowl is non stick so no gross sticky rice pan afterward that I dread touching. The risotto was cooked to perfection and not cluggy the mushrooms had broken down and were wonderful. Both thumbs up from me.

So this week's been a bit mad - the end of financial year always seems to creep up and suddenly everyone wants something yesterday. Manster's been working crazy hours, Babester's been recovering from the cold she caught at her birthday party and I've been trying to keep all the plates spinning. So I've been relying pretty heavily on the Philips All-in-One-Cooker to get me through. I honestly didn't think it would make that much difference to the way in which I cook but its actually had a big impact on the way I approach my kitchen in general. After five weeks with the Philips, it's definitely changed the way I perceive my approach to cooking. I'm a planner, and I will continue to plan meals in advance, but the Philips definitely takes an element of the pressure off. If I don't feel like spending hours prepping or I really need dinner to be ready when I get home, I can rely on using the Philips to quickly whip up something delicious or can come home to a slow cooked meal. I've also found that it helps me make more complicated dishes (like tarragon lemon chicken) in a fraction of the time it would take the conventional way, which has diversified the number of recipes I can use for quick weeknight meals. I definitely recommend adding the Philips All-in-One to your kitchen arsenal.

Playing with this lovely device just gets better and better! I made a beef bolognaise ragu the other day and it was AMAZING! I used carrots, zucchini and chorizo to start off with the sear option, added cubed raw beef, seared some more, add the rest of the ingredients and stirred it for the rest of the timer count down for the searing and then put it on to slow cook. YUM! Again this was a recipe I made up by myself and researched the best cooking times and levels, but the Philips All in One didn’t let me down and my family loved it so much I’m told this is the way I have to make bolognaise from now on. No mince – cubed beef slow cooked to infuse their scrummy flavours throughout the sauce. Yum. I also made another batch of nut milk yoghurt, this time using a powdered Turkish Kefir “drinking yoghurt” starter and it was amazing. If I had to give the Philips All in one cooker back I think I would cry simply losing such an easy and amazing way of making my own dairy free yoghurt. The more I use it, the more I love it! Bone broth next! Today's picture is of some of my homemade granola (not made in the All in one) along with fresh bananas and some nutmilk yoghurt made in the All in one. YUM!
Week 3 cooking

This week I only had the chance to cook one recipe using my All-In-One-Cooker, but it was a delicious one. Stuffed capsicums would have to be one of my favourite comfort foods, and I thought this would be perfect in the slow cooker. I wasn't disappointed! I stuffed capsicums with a mix of rice, herbs, goats cheese and zucchini and cooked them for 3 hours in a tomato sauce. It was absolutely delicious! Even the kids gobbled it up. Winner! I've posted the recipe for this in the recipe section so you can enjoy them too. Tomorrow night I'm planning to slow roast a whole chicken. I can't wait to see how it turns out. Once again I've been so impressed with the Philips All-In-One-Cooker. It really does make cooking a family meal very easy. The clean up afterwards is really easy too, which makes my life so much easier.
Dinner done in under 40mins

I made pumpkin soup using the pressure cooker. I cannot stress how wonderful this machine is. I had dinner on the table ready to eat within 40 mins of walking in the door. The functionality is simple and easy to use, and clean up was a breeze. My only real issue I had was transferring my cooked soup into the blender (I would usually use my stick mixer and blitz in the pot, however my partner decided he needed it to mix paint instead) there was no easy way for me to remove the inner pot so I could just tip the contents out, I had to ladle it out (which is not as convenient, but not a major issue)
Phillips All in One Cooker where have you been all my life.
by adazCombined rating
We wanted to see just how easy it was to use, as much as I wanted to be the first, I let my partner take the cooker on its maiden journey. It may not look like much, but I must say, his first attempt at massaman curry was delish, and it didnt take long before my boys were heading back to the pot for 2nds. Once everything was prepped, the actual cooking time was only 25mins, adding in a couple more minutes to allow things to settle once he released the pressure valve. I walked in to find the house filled with the fabulous aroma of a hearty curry, to which my appetite immediately kicked in. The meat was absolutely melt in your mouth, and full of flavour. I was hoping to try and bake a cake using a recipe out of the book, however it seems that my partner has other ideas, and has already made plans to cook sticky bbq pork ribs. I wont complain however, Im loving the fact I can now share the responsibility of cooking, so happy to wait my turn
We can finally enjoy our meals

I suffer chronic pain and cannot stand and cook anymore so my husband has had to do all the cooking, which means, he has had to advance from a stunning roast and steak with 3 veg to something better. Don't get me wrong, he is a great cook, but his range wasn't very big. Until we bought a Phillips all-in-one cooker. He has learnt to become a Phillips Chef, cooking absolutely everything and anything. He cooks beautiful soups, stews, he does a mixture of meat and vegies then breaks it into smaller pieces and uses it for fillings for pies and for the sandwich maker. What we like best is that we don't need expensive cuts of meats, as with the slow cooking, no matter what we use, it is soft and tender meat when we are ready to eat. Also we can re-heat things like soups. We love the traditional dutch pea and ham soup. I follow my mum's recipe. So we make enough for around a dozen meals. Then all we do is add some meat when we reheat it in the Phillips all-in-one cooker. The Phillips All-in-One Cooker is the best thing we have ever bought since My hubby has had to start cooking. xx
Slow cooker roast chicken

This week I made the roast whole chicken from the recipe book. I spread the herb and lemon butter under the skin of the breast and then cooked it for 7 hours. The meat was delicious and tender and the flavour from the butter had soaked through the chicken. I was also left with some beautiful chicken juices, which I've put in the freezer for making a soup in the next few weeks. The chicken was delicious with some salad, but there was plenty of leftovers that I used for another meal later in the week.

I was so excited to be selected for this review. My All-In-One Cooker arrived and I couldn't wait to start using it. Unpacked it and washed all the components. Read through the instruction booklet and the recipe booklet to gain inspiration. Wow, I can't believe that you can cook many different things in the cooker - from yoghurt to cakes, soup to stews. I did pick up a few spelling mistakes in the recipe booklet. I decided to make a risotto for my first dish in the Cooker using the pressure cooker function. It worked out well, however I think it will take a bit of getting used to. Could the instructions be more detailed? As I use it more I will understand the functions of it, but the risotto turned out well and I'm off now to plan what else to cook in the Cooker. Overall a great appliance, one that will definitely be getting a lot of use in my kitchen.

this product is awesome. I begged and begged my hubby to get me a slowcooker for Christmas, last year and I'm so happy I got what I wanted. with 4 young kids and being constantly on the go I often found it hard to find the time to cook a healthy and nutritious meal that the kids would actually eat. this slowcooker makes that so easy when I can just chuck in the meat and veggies and some herbs and seasoning before I leave in the morning. i just leave it for the day and when I get back to it in the evening, I have ready a lovely full of flavour meal that we all enjoy. I make sure I put enough in for leftovers the next day(or to freeze) and its paid its way just in the savings from hubby not buying takeaways for lunch at work

Philips All-in-One Party Saver
by Heather DelfsCombined rating
It was Babester's 2nd birthday last weekend; life threw in a few curve balls and we almost cancelled her day but, at the last minute, decided to go through with it anyway (who wants to break a toddler's little birthday heart?). As we raced around getting ready for an impromtu party, I reached for the Philips to save the day - voila birthday cake! While the cake baked in the Philips, I made prepped some icing. After quickly rinsing and wiping out the inner pot, I popped some meatballs in from the freezer with a few little extras and set the honey-soy meatballs to cook. Party sorted in no time, thanks the the Philips.

Asian short ribs in 30 mins after a big day. Yummy. Normally about 6 hours in a crock pot bit 30 minutes in the pressure cooker and they were great. Just don't forgot it does take about 10-15 mins to get up to pressure/temperature before the timer counts down.

This week I used the All In One Cooker twice. I made the caramelised pepper pork recipe from the book and made up my own kangaroo and beetroot dish. Both of these used the pressure cooker function. I love that I can have a 'slow' cooked meal made in under an hour. It's fantastic on nights when i get home later from work. I've found that I've used the pressure cooker function more often than the slow cooker option, as I often don't have time in the mornings to organise the ingredients and set it going. I'm also a bit funny about leaving it running all day with no one home. I'm so impressed with this machine and know it's going to get a work out over the rest of winter!

It’s now four weeks that I use and enjoy the All-in-One Philips Cooker. First I want to thank Philips and Mouths of Mum for the possibility they gave me to review the product. I am absolutely new to both slow cooking and pressure cooking, and this machine let me fully appreciate these functions. I can honestly say that my life got easier. I tried different times the slow cooking function and I was amazed at how the flavour of the ingredients combine together while cooking. It’s also so convenient, because bringing dinner to the table doesn’t ask for you to be behind the stove all the time, checking, stirring… You cut your meat and your vegetables and you have time for yourself. You could even freeze all the ingredients you need for your meals, ready to be popped into the slow cooker. The pressure cooking function is my favourite, I must admit. I love to use it for pulses (that otherwise would need ages to cook on the stove) and in particular for brown rice, that I eat a lot. The white rice cooks in a lot less time, so you could go on cooking it on the stove, but the brown rice cooks in around 35 minutes on the stove, but you have to stay there to check. Using the All-in-One Cooker as brown rice cooker is fantastic. It comes out nice fluffy, exactly how I like it. Steaming is another great function. Steamed meat or fish is so healthy and quick. I love steamed potatoes too. With other vegetables, I’m not that sure. Capsicum, zucchini, asparagus, sweet potatoes… they lose the texture I like. The steam function is automatically for 10 minutes and the cookbook advices that time too, but I think it’s too long, or maybe it’s better to cook certain vegetables in a different way. I still have to steam some puddings. But I need to buy a pudding steamer first. Very curious. I also baked in it. I must admit I was quite skeptic, but the result amazed me. I made a chocolate and almond cake and it cooked beautifully!! I think I still prefer my old loyal oven, but nice to know I can use the All-in-One Cooker in case of need. After 4 weeks, I can assure you that this machine has become an indispensable tool in my kitchen and I will constantly use it, to cook and present new wonderful meals.

So firstly I'd like to thank MOM for choosing me to review such a wonderful product. It has truly changed my night time routine. If i could cook absolutely everything in it, i would. I am truly grateful to have had this opportunity. Tonight i cooked the mushroom risotto from the cook book, yum! I modified it a little and added bacon. I will say though, some of the recipes have mistakes in them. This one asked for 500mil of water but no where in the method does it state when to add it, so i completely missed it in the rush of putting it on as you guessed it i had a little teething baby crying at my leg. But by the looks of it we didn't need the water as it was fine without. This was my 1st time pressure cooking and it seemed to take forever to retain the pressure. I had a little freak out thinking it was never going to happen, so i took the lid off and fiddled with a few things, after that the pressure started to work. That 14 minutes goes so fast, and once it was time to release the pressure it near gave me a heart attack lol it was very loud all that steam coming out. The end result, absolutely scrummy. Definitely a quick and tasty dinner for a cold winter night.
A spectacular cooker!

Third week with the All-in-One Cooker. It’s getting better and better. This week I tried the steam function preparing chicken and potatoes. It’s such a quick and healthy choice. I used the cookbook recipe for “Chicken roll with sun-dried tomatoes and mozzarella’ but instead of just potatoes, I decided to steam sweet potatoes as well. Well, it wasn’t a good choice, because the cooking time was perfect for the potatoes but was too long for the sweet potatoes. Well, the taste was still good. The chicken cooked perfectly! I will try to steam salmon too! And other vegetables like asparagus for example. I’ve also used the pressure cooking function more often, preparing rice and cooking pulses. Lentils, chickpeas… they cook so quickly. The result is perfect. I used the cooked chickpeas to make hummus and I’m very glad with the result. I can’t believe how happy I am with this cooker. Really spectacular!

I tried a steamed fish and veggies dish this week, worked really well in the all in one cooker. I have noticed it also bakes so this weekend will try a cake and see how this function works. The only other function i haven't tried is yogurt making which i am very interested in giving a go. unfortunately for some reason my photos don't upload will try again next post.

I made BBQ ribs with this amazing machine. The meat was so tender and literally falling off the bone. I was a little concerned at first that there was not enough liquid in the recipe, but true to form, the Phillips All in One Cooker delivered. In older style pressure cookers you have to wait for the pressure to disperse naturally, with a flick of the release valve, this machine allows you to do it quick and easily, meaning you get to eat sooner rather then later. In a house full of growing males I can testify how precious those few extra minutes are.
So easy to use!!

For my second try of the All-in-One Cooker, I chose a recipe from a slow cooker book: “Easy Slow Cooker Pork Tenderloin” I prepared pork and vegetables, put everything in the pot, started the slow cooker function and… that’s it! I didn’t have to do anything else. I went on doing my stuff while dinner cooked by itself. How wonderful that you don’t have to think about stirring. After 6 hours, I opened the lid and dinner was ready! It’s wonderful that you can let dinner cook while you are out of the house for example. You come back and you can sit at the table. I wonder though if it is safe to leave such an appliance on while you are outside. The food was nice cooked, tasty. Because of the slow cooking process it maintains more vitamins than cooking on the stove. It’s my first time using a slow cooker and I’m definitely going to use this function again! This week I also used the pressure cooking function again, making a vegetable stock and green split pea soup. It’s fantastic how quick the cooking is. And the cleaning up too! I’m very happy with this cooker. I find it just a pity that the All-in-One cookbook doesn’t offer many recipes.

My first day of using the phillips cooker and starting with a soup so far it has been easy to use. I love the fact that its all in one pot so hardly any cleaning at all. I am able to play with my son while dinner cooks for me saving me more time. storage of the machine may become a problem in the future but for know loving the machine and its many functions. The only point i want to make is that it was hard to find instruction on how to open or what to do once cooking is complete.

I was not chosen to review this produce by MoM, but was given one for mother's day this year instead. I have to say that I really like having this all in one cooker. It took a bit of adjusting to at first, and it comes with a nice recipe booklet - but of course you could also download some from this website. I was so happy for winter to come so that I could use it. It's sure getting a work out :)

A cake in a slow cooker? Yes you can. I made a lovely whole orange cake in my Philips All-In-One Cooker this afternoon. The house smelt wonderful. It cooked evenly, was moist and tasty, it. Didn't stick in the pan at all and was so easy. I didn't even have to alter the recipe I used. Gotta give it a try.

I have decided to do my second review early due to some travel next week but have been loving using the cooker, still trying to work out all the functions and tailoring my recipes to suit. Last night i tried the slow cook function putting my oats, apple, sugar and cinnamon on slow cook over night for 9 hours. When i woke up it was ready to eat. Know to work out amount so i don't make so much in one go. The next thing i would like to give ago of is steaming fish.

Pasta and lentil Bolognese
by sarahkCombined rating
So it turned out really well the only issue i had with doing it all in the all in one cooker was that you had to cook each one separately so while one section of the dish was cooking the other was getting cold. For example cooking pasta first meant the pasta was cold by the time the sauce was ready. So next time i would just cook the sauce of pasta in the all in one cooker and cook the pasta on the stove, means more stove space.

Versatile, fool-proof and an inspiring way to cook from scratch!

4 out 5 stars. I want to thank Mouths of Mums for giving me the opportunity to take this darling device for a test run. As soon as it arrived I had it out of the box and being cleaned so that I could use it. Note: The ‘Inner bowl’ is listed in the user manual as an accessory rather than a main part of the machine… something I found a little odd but I will go into my views on the user manual side of things at the end of my review. I will state here and now I was a total newb when it came to using a slow cooker or pressure cooker, let alone an all in one device that does both. I’ve never used one in my life and was really nervous about where to start. Though I have been a ‘cook from scratch’ cook for almost 30 years now (I’m almost 40 – shhhh!) and so felt I had to confidence to put it through its paces with help from the user manual and cook book… no. The user manual and cook book are the reason I didn’t give this baby 5 out of 5 stars as they are next to useless for a newb. My reasons are at the end of the review. I want to focus more on the positives right now as I really do feel the Phillips All-in-on cooker deserves to have its positives shouted from the roof tops before you read the negatives as it is a fantastic kitchen helper. Okay, so what have I made in my new baby since I got it last Friday? Well, we are a gluten/ grain, dairy and refined sugar free house that also has onion and garlic allergies and intolerances (can you see why I make so much of our foods from scratch?)… So my first item was to take my dairy, grain and refined sugar free chocolate brownie recipe and bake it in the Phillips All-in-one cooker. Sadly, I failed to read the “set the valve to bake” part of a recipe I was following for advice on how to make it… so it took a little longer to bake. BUT! It made some of the most scrummy brownies I have ever made! Crisp and slightly crunchy on the outside and gooey, moist but cooked in the middle. Yum! They were sooooo good! And so very simple to make. Huge tick of approval from the family and round 1 to the Phillips All-in-one cooker! The next day I made nut milk porridge with apple and cinnamon for breakfast. Again, I based it off the porridge recipe in the cook book that comes with the Phillips All-in-one-cooker… but made it to my family’s tastes. Again, I made a rookie mistake where I didn’t stir all the ingredients together before I put on the lid. What can I say? I have a Thermomix and so have gotten a little lazy with this stirring thing. I also blame the Thermomix for why I confused the time for my porridge. The cook book said to put it on for 20 minutes and I kept swearing at it as I could only put it on for what seemed like 10 minutes… erm… that was 10 hours I was looking at. Yes, I mistook the hours for minutes and the minutes for seconds as that’s how they appear on my THX. Not the Phillips All-in-one cooker’s fault… though it would be nice if their user manual’s pictures were easier to read as maybe I would have realised this error. But, again, I will go into that at the end. Thankfully I realised my mistake only a few minutes into the cook and was able to fix it up and cook it for only 20 minutes. It came out tasting great! Son (partner in porridge crime) and I loved it hot and I had the cold left overs the next day drizzled with maple syrup – Yum! Round 2 to the Phillips All-in-one cooker! That night I made rice as per the cook book instructions… Not so good. I found the recipe instructions hard to understand as it said to add two cups of rice and then fill with water to the level indicated on the inner bowl for two cups of rice… but, sadly, the rice already reached that level so it was a bit hard for me to then add water. I looked at the amount of water I could add, thought – from my 30 years of experience – it didn’t look like enough water… but hey I will follow the instructions and see how I go. The rice was cooked… but dry and almost burnt in places. Clearly not enough water. So round 3 was a fail but was it really the Phillips All-in-one cooker’s fault? Or should I have just added the amount of water I felt it needed? I feel the fault is that of the cook book and not the device. Last night, I made a beef and vegetable stew. Again, my own recipe and ingredients, but following a similar recipe from the cook book. I made another newbie mistake and forgot to set the valve to seal! Thankfully I noticed in time and it didn’t boil dry and the stew came out lovely. Went well with the rice I made in my TMX. ;-) Again, not the fault of the Phillips All-in-one cooker and all my own fault. Everyone loved the stew so round 4 to it too! I still want to try making nut milk yoghurt, pea and ham soup and a pot roast in my Phillips All-in-one cooker but there is only so much time in my week. Despite all my newbie mistakes I was still turning out good quality meals and I feel that shows what a great device it is to be able to cope with my fumbling and L plate approach. Would I recommend the Phillips All-in-one device to others? Yes I would. But due to the not so helpful or useful user manual I would strongly suggest someone with more of a clue how to use a similar slow cooker/ pressure cooker device buy it rather than a novice. Someone new to cooking and such devices are really going to struggle and might be put off by it all. Why? Now for the negatives… Going through the paperwork for the Phillips All-in-one I was rather frustrated that the first thing I read was the Phillips International warranty. When you go to the list of countries to find you Consumer contact desk number, for Australia it just states: The International Warranty doesn’t apply in Australia. So my question is, am I covered by the warranty that is daubed all over the device and its packaging? Or is that false advertising? I will be contacting Phillips to ask them this as, to me, I was very disappointed by all the hype about the two year warranty to then read the fine print saying it wasn’t offered here. I would hate to have bought it to discover this. The only positive I can say about the user manual is I love how it states that children above the age of 8 can use it, given supervision or instruction. This has thrilled my 8 year old and 10 year old daughters who want to try it out too. Other than that, the user manual is useless. Now, I’m not just saying this because user manuals are something I used to write for a living. I found it hard to read what all the different bits of the all-in-one cooker does as the images are on one side of the very large piece of paper and the instructions that go with the images are on the other side. As a writer of user manuals for many years, I would have done it differently. Put the images and the list side by side for easier reference. Other negatives of the user manual are, as mentioned, it was very hard to find the cleaning or maintenance on how to clean the ‘Inner Pot’. It’s mentioned in the accessories section of the user manual pamphlet, and I would have thought it should be listed as a major part of the device. None of the device (including ‘inner pot’) is dishwasher safe. A little disappointing when so many other devices I use do have dishwasher friendly parts. Now for the cook book. Firstly it is full of typos. Custer sugar instead of caster sugar. Feneel rather than fennel. Again, if I was a beginner cook and was trying to improve my skills, this would put me off the Phillips device as spelling mistakes make it look like a rather shoddy and shabby device. It’s not, but the impression is still there. Being a newbie, I would also have liked the cook book to provide a few more instructions. Like, when I made brownies, I had no clue how to get the hot inner bowl out without burning myself or breaking the brownie. I broke the brownie. The layout could also do with some improving, like making the valve position a more prominent instruction as it appears more like a footnote and could easily be skimmed over. Trust me, I did skim it for my brownie! As I like to see the positives in all situations I feel the positives I get out of these negatives is I now get the opportunity to make my own manual and cook book. As I make up a lot of my own recipes to share on my Foodie blog as it is, I also have no problems now making up my own recipes and instructions on how to use the Phillips All-in-one cooker. So my review in summary – The Phillips All-in-one cooker is great! I love mine, I am going to have so much fun playing with it and trying things out and creating new ideas. I would recommend it for someone with my skill level of cooking, or someone who has used a similar device before. Would not recommend it to a novice unless they had better documentation to follow. I would like to know if the international warranty shown all over the device and packaging is actually valid in Australia, or whether customers would be better advised to ignore and go with any ‘in store’ warranty offered on purchase. All in all, I love it. But am disappointed with the written information that comes with it.

One Pot Wonder Cooker
by Heather DelfsCombined rating
So, I've spent a fortnight with my Philips All-in-One and, I'll admit, it comes in pretty handy - especially when I'm pressed for time after picking up Babester from childcare and need something tasty and nutritious before the little miss starts chanting 'munch, munch, munch' while pointing at the pantry. In about the time it takes her to watch a sneaky episode of Octonauts, I can have dinner sorted. I've tried a few different recipes out this week, including One Pot - Wonder Pasta with Meatballs and Everything but the Sink Risotto. I also made polenta, which usually takes FOREVER and inevitably sticks to the bottom of whatever pan I've made it in. Many a saucepan has been ruined by my attempts at polenta. Polenta in the pressure cooker worked a treat but I may tweak the recipe a little before I post it next week.

I used breast fillets instead of thigh fillets but it still turned out tender and juicy. I had to brown the onions and the chicken, throw in the tomatoes, garlic and a bit of stock and white wine then leave it to cook in the breville pressure cooker then add the olives towards the end to give it a mediterrenean kick. Delicious

After rice was a bit so-so, and soup being a success, I thought I'd try the baking function. I took a recipe I normally bake in the oven for comparison. Chocolate cake! So what you do is grease the bowl in the A-I-O. Then in another bowl, make your cake mixture. Then pour it into the A-I-O and put it onto bake. I wasn''t sure if it would cook it well as in a normal oven it needs 160c and this was 140 for the same amount of time. Surprisingly, the cake was very good, even cooked at a lower temperature. It rose well, it was moist, and if I were to do it again I would just add a touch more liquid as I think the temperature and heat area is very intense inside the A-I-O, so the cake felt ever so slightly dry. So maybe a drop more water. Saying that though, you would never notice with a dollop of ice-cream or delicious custard!

Week 2 success!

This week I continued to experiment with my fantastic Philips All-OIn-One-Cooker. For a weekend breakfast I made the semolina porridge from the recipe book. The flavour and texture were great, but it really did take longer than I could have made it on the stove top. By the time the milk heated up, the 20 minute cooking time ended up being longer than 30 minutes. Also, because the milk had boiled for so long, there was a burnt skin on the top, which wasn't very pleasant. I followed the instructions for this one, but don't think I'd bother again. Semolina is so easy to just whip up in a saucepan. The real success was tonights dinner. I set the slow cooker going this morning with lamb rump, onion, garlic, red wine and stock and let it cook for 9 hours. The meat came out beautifully tender! I then shredded it and we served it 'souvlaki' style, with Turkish bread, hummus, chargrilled vegies and lettuce. It was delicious and the kids wolfed it down. Perfect Sunday night comfort food! This week coming, I'm hoping to try a curry and maybe a cake. Yum!

Meals are prepared in a timely manner or even set to cook while am out at work or shopping. It's a win win, thank you Philps
Fun, Family Friendly Fare with Philips All-in-One Cooker

After a busy weekend of renovating, Manster requested Lamb Rogan Josh for dinner, which would have been fine, had he asked for it in the morning, as it usually takes a whole day to cook. Instead, I had an hour...so, with some trepidation, I pulled the brand new Philips All-In-One out of it's box. Disclaimer: I've never used a pressure cooker before...ever. I think my grandmother had one to make corned beef and cabbage but that's it. That's my only pressure cooker experience and it's second hand! I'll admit, I was a bit taken aback. I mean, I was prepared to thoroughly read an ample instruction booklet written in several different languages before venturing to turn on the All-In-One - but there was only a small folded leaflet and a recipe booklet, with a diagram of all the parts. That's it. I even went back to the box and rifled through the packaging because I was so sure I'd missed a hefty instruction manual. But no, just the little foldout leaflet to guide me, which, it turns out, was all I needed. It's. So. Easy. Plug it in, select your cooking method and set the time. Voila. Actually, with the recipe I chose to adapt, there were a few more steps before voila, so I got to test on the saute functions on both high and low as well (which I'd amend to high and medium, as the low setting was still pretty hot). Pressure cooking was super simple, just make sure you have the little lever set to 'seal' before you start the PC function. And then, voila. Lamb Rogan Josh, in an hour. It tasted pretty good, although this recipe would definitely work better on the All-In-One's slow cooker function since the pressure cooker retains moisture and the sauce wasn't as thick as it would be on a slow cook function. However, the meat was really tender, which is the heart of the dish, so the Philips All-In-One worked a treat in that regard. Any 'failings' of the dish were the fault of the cook and not her equipment!

I got this cooker last year on my birthday and have used it for over a year. Absolutely fantastic. Quick, clean, fast healthy cooking. I get stews and soups in 20 mins, things that use to take hour to cook. Being able to sear and saute off the ingredients in the same pot before stewing it also saves the extra cleaning up. Build in timers are fantastic for when you are in and out of the house. The only complain I have, and it's a little one, is that I wish the lid was a flip top type lid. I have a small kitchen, and when I have to cook without the lid, it is cumbersome and takes up precious space on my little kitchen bench. Other than that, it is one of the equipment I cannot go without, right there next to my kettle and toaster!

After making cauliflower soup, I thought I'd try and be a bit more adventurous and see what I had left over in the fridge. I just tossed these in the A-I-O, set it to soup, added a bit of stock and waited 30 mins. My family is very critical, but this was utterly delicious. To be precise, I used about 5 carrots, a red capsicum, a sweet potato and one red onion. And 500ml of stock and salt / pepper. Then after the cycle, I used my hand whizzer to blend it. Wonderful.

For my very first time trying out the All-in-One Cooker, I decided to mix two recipes that came with the All-in-One Cooker cookbook: “Risotto + Asian Style Chicken”. I had to saute the chicken for five minutes, then add the vegetables and saute for ten minutes. I found a little disarming not to know how much time the machine actually needed before maintaining the pressure. Just from that moment the saute time started. After the saute option, I used the “risotto option” in “pressure cooking”. I started it and again… before starting the 14 minutes risotto time, the machine was busy for more than ten minutes. The actual cooking time was thus longer than what I expected, so I was late for dinner! :-) But ok, it was my first try. Next time it will go better. The rice tasted absolutely great, even if the leek was a little burned. It looks like a wonderful machine. Very easy to use and to clean. Can’t wait to try it again :-)
Another success

Chicken tomato may lands for dinner tonight. Only 20mins of pressure cooking for yummy fall off the bone chicken. Unfortunately the pressure cooker takes about 15 mins to get up to pressure so cooking time wasn't significantly different to doing them in the oven. Still had to brown them at the start and let the sauce cook down for 10mins at the end but at least it was all in the same pot so fast cleanup wins again. Still a winner in my books.
Lovin it

Used again this week. Hubby threw in a silverside before work and 12hours later a beautiful dinner was had by all.
Chicken Cacciatore

A quick and easy meal for the family. It took about 30 minutes total - 15 prep, 15 cook. My favourite part of this machine is the sear mode, allowing me to first brown the meat, and cook off the spices/tomato paste. Then I just set and forget. If I add a bit too much liquid, after cooking, I just take the lid off, and put it back on sear to reduce the sauce to a thicker consistency.
Curry in a hurry!

I cooked a curry in the Philips All-In-One last night. The sear mode is fantastic. With the lid off I was able to brown the onions and cook off the spices first, before adding all the other ingredients to pressure cook. The versatility of this machine means I can get much better flavours out of a one-pot dinner.
Fast spuds!

I was in a real rush to get dinner cooked. I didn't have time to roast potatoes, but then I thought I might try them in the Philips All-In-One Cooker. I set them on pressure cook for 12 minutes with a bit of water. Meanwhile I prepped all the other food, and got the oven hot ready for browning the spuds. It worked a treat.
Versatile and Reliable, soon the cooktop will be redundant!

I read the instructions quite thoroughly. FYI Philips I think the diagram of the product should always be visible when reading comolicated instructions. Else there's a lot of flipping to do! So the user guide not bad and the recipe book gives you a few items of inspiration though you feel like it should be 10 times longer and more general advice on how to go beyond the few recipes with "everyday" meals. Turning it on for the first time is a bit daunting, lots of flashing lights, beeps and after selecting rice, I pressed start. There was no recognition of this command, no noise, just a sort of spinning logo. After a while it started to make some noise and you wondered whether to cower as the instructions warn you about the vent and whether it should be open or closed. I was hoping it wouldn't blow up! So my first dish, I chose something simple - rice. I followed the recipe book's instructions. On the hob I heated up the Spice Tailor's Punjabi Tomato sauce, and added my own red capsicum, mushrooms and tofu. The rice, I have to say, was pretty bad. The top was ok, but near the bottom of the bowl it had formed a plastic-like crust and the rice was like bullets. I had to chuck a lot of it in the bin. However, I tried again a few days later, and this time I doubled the amount of water for the cups of rice recommended and it was great. I get the impression with this device, you sort of have to be adventuresome, and not be too downhearted by throwing stuff out. If at first you don't succeed, try try again! This is a good cooker and you and it just need to get acquainted. It could do with an online community where we share recipes / cooking methods etc. So I actually do love the Philips All-in-One Cooker, it just takes a bit of experimenting. Well that's OK with me. It's going to save me so many hours cooking, and finally give this busy mum an end-of-day delicious meal with not much effort. Thank you!
Great all in one cooker

Extremly silent, no waste of liquid, very effective, no smell of cooked food. Amazing product! Congratulations Philips for a great accomplishment. I cook everthing in it and I love it. I cooked lamb feet in it and this is very smelly and takes usually one and half hours in a normal pressure cooker but after one hour in this one, no smell at all and they were totally done and yammy. This was the hardest thing to cook. The rest was easy :-)

Brought this about 6 months ago. The more I use it the more I like it! It can be a bit of a learning process to start & YouTube has some great ideas... but it just gets better & better. The Sauté/sear function is really handy, so you can go straight from that to Slow cooking or pressure cooking without the need to use another pan. It really is one pot does all & so easy to clean. Wouldn't be without it now
i would have love to review this product it is on my wish list

The jury is still out!

I cooked a whole chicken in the Philips All-In-One Cooker. I followed all the instructions from the recipe book, but the chicken was still half raw when I got it out. Then I had to add more time, then to brown the skin I put it in a pan and put it in the oven. I might as well have just put it in the oven to begin with. I'm keeping an open mind, and will try another dish.
Not happy and don't recommend

This machine is promoted as an intelligent cooker - this is not true as it has very few programs and temperature cannot be adjusted manually, which is an idiocy. Any cook should be able to adjust temperature - this goes without saying. It has never occurred to me to check it - my fault, but ability to adjust cooking temperature is one of the defining features of smart/intelligent cooking. Very unhappy.
