Review: Oates Pet Hair Brush

My faves about this brush: soft rubber brushes and easy to clean. It’s good for all surfaces like my couch, chairs and carpet too. So easy to clean and it’s brand new again. I just rinse it off in warm water.

Wow!!! This product is so simple but it has changed my life. Yes I sound dramatic but between my hair and the cats hair around the house I never feel like my house is clean enough. Having a fabric couch the cats hair always get into the fibres and is difficult to remove, I wish I had this brush years ago. I really put it to thr test of my cats bed (which is covered in fur) and it didn't dissapoint. With little effort you just brush and watch the fur move and collect into an easy to bin bundle. Great design, easy to hold and use. This product is an absolute game changer for pet fur.

I have a beautiful black staffy that thinks he’s one of the children and demands to sleep on the bed, the downfall to that is he leaves his black fur everywhere. I’ve started giving the bed a quick brush with the pet hair brush and it takes a minute and picks up all of his hair and it also collects dust/glitter I didn’t even see on the bed. This product is a must have for pet owners as it has so many uses!

While I don't have a pet, I gave this to my neighbour who has a long haired cat and dog. I saw first hand how amazing this brush is on clothes and furniture. It removed all the hair and it was super easy to use and clean afterwards . I will be recommending this to my friends with pets .

Really happy with this pet hair tool. Thankfully my dog doesn’t malt much but I used it at my friends house where I always come home covered in pet hair. It worked a treat! It’s gentle so doesn’t damage clothes or fabric. It picks the hair up really well and is easy to clean. No more buying roll after roll of sticky rollers!

This brush is a little gem! We dont have a dog or cat but we do have visitors that do and oh boy did this little brush work wonders!

My dog loved she sat there and let me brush her, but my dog doesn’t shed hair so it wasn’t able to get hair off her.

Perfect little cleaning tool especially if you have indoor fur babies of any kind. My pets are outside most the time however I used this on my outdoor couch setting that my dogs have claimed as there’s. The amount of dog hair it removes is amazing

We have a white rabbit who spends a lot of time indoors with my daughter and as a consequence, hairs get everywhere! This brush is perfect for quickly and easily removing hair and other fluffy debris from furniture, carpet, clothing and curtains. It just simply works, is low-fuss and I’d definitely recommend this to other people.

I really loved the Oates Pet Hair Brush. It was very efficient in getting rid of the cat hair that is all over our chairs and other furniture. Will continue using and purchase in the future.

This is a must have for every pet owner. I have lent it to friends and family who have inside animals and they were amazed. They have now bought their own. Makes cleaning pet hair so much easier. Its so easy to use and I have even caught er my young kids doing the cleaning too

The Oates Pet Hair Brush was great at picking up dog and cat hair! The electrostatic rubber bristles made it easy to pick up the dreaded long hairs left behind by our Retriever Banio and long haired cat Tilly. The car boot came up cleaner with the Oates Pet Brush vrs the vacuum at the car wash! This brush is a game changer!! Cushions, couches, clothes, car, and carpet pet hair is now so much easy to remove and get rid of and you just wash the brush in warm soapy water when finished. Definitely worth buying if you have pets!

Ok so I was a little sceptical that the Pet Hair Brush could actually remove stubborn dog hair, even from the trickiest spots - like the back seat of a car! But, I tried it on my sister’s car with her pet Staffy and wow - it actually works! Simply brush over the hair and it instantly picks it up. No hassles! No rubbing and going back and forth, it’s so easy.

This pet hair brush is the bomb! I have lots of trouble getting our dogs hair out of the car floor mats and seats but this has got almost all of it out! We also used it to actually brush our dog and the amount of for that came off was amazing. He sat/lied patiently (normally won't be brushed) while we did him all over. He is a big dog weighing 35ish kg. Will DEFINITELY be buying another

To be honest, I think I got more of my hair on the carpet. That's how badly I'm shedding. This brush is so easy to use and very effective!

This product is awesome on fabric lounges and in the car! It grabs the pet hair so well for an easy clean up

This pet hair brush I was impressed at how it removed pet hair very quick and easy. It can be used on all surfaces. I used mine mainly on the couch. Its reusable and good quality. The brush is soft to use. You rinse it to re use it again. It doesn't scratch surfaces. I recommended this product.

Chloe, our little pup, loves the pet hairbrush! And it strokes her fur so nicely too. She felt so spoilt. Now it might be an afternoon routine to brush her fur when we come home.

Cheeky loves it and so do I! It picks up the hair from any cloth based surfaces! Couldnt find any that removes pet hair that easily! Its going to be a regular here at Cheeky's household!

I have thick hair & plenty of it. I also loose a lot of hair everyday with it on the back of the couch, car seat, pillow, floors, it just seems to be left behind everywhere. So when I received this brush I thought I should try it out for my hair and I'm so glad I did. Removing my hair from everywhere is a breeze Now thanks to this brush. Happy to highly recommend it to others who have the same problem. The family still call me a wool mammoth though.

Definitely does the job advertised, it was a little harder than usual for me to review this one as my dog had just been groomed and shaved. I have a labradoodle and despite what most thing they still shed their hair the same as we do so not much but still sometimes is missed by the vacuum cleaner. This got it off the rug quickly and effectively and have already recommended it to a few friends with animals that shed a lot. My friends with a husky LOVE it! I personally would likely not replace when this eventually wears out as its just not something I need often with my own dog but its sturdy and does a great job.

Cliche' bit true, our cat has been coughing up horrible hairballs and this oates pet hair brush has helped resolve that issue as we have found it cleans the hair off of her bedding, our furniture and, even her! She really enjoys being groomed with this rubber brush, it helps remove all her loose hair which means less hair to go on anything else and less for her to lick up into her mouth, ewww. Definitely recommending to friends and family, I wish I knew this existed sooner!

When you have a Golden retriever, you have a lot of dog hair, these brushes are great the soft bristles don’t scratch and are perfect for removing the hair from my can and couch. I would recommend them.

This brush surprised me at how good it works I didn’t think we had a lot of pet hair around but what come out of our rug was kinda grosse.

Very effective and great for removing pet hair from various surfaces especially our clothing and rugs in the house. The rubber bristles are scratch free and long lasting. Extremely versatile, easy to use and highly recommended. The pet brush is easy to clean after each use. Every family home with a pet should have one of these brushes on hand.

I found the Oates pet brush to be great at getting our cavaliers hair out of our rug and also on the couch, nice and easy to use

Did a good job of dehairing the lounge of our dogs hair and funnily enough mine as I have long hair ......its easy to yse and to wash out.#laughatthemess

We have a three legged inside house cat who sheds so much fur, this brush picks it up with ease. I was amazed at how much it had picked up even after I had vacuumed. Definitely recommend if you have fur babies living at home.

This brush is amazing if you live with pets, I thought our couch was fairly clean but this brush was still able to bring out so much hair I was amazed.

Excellent! Worked exactly as described! I truly like that the hair remover brush is reusable and you don’t have to spend a lot of money on different lint rollers. This brush is definitely the best by far, and easily removes all the hair! It's the perfect size for easy storage as well. Can't recommend enough and won't ever use any other type of brush again.

Unfortunately I wasn't able to try the Oates pet hair removal brush as I don't own pets but from other reviews I've seen it looks fantastic and does a great job at removing pet hair. I was amazed at some of the pictures I've seem of how much hair they collected. They are of great quality and strong brush look well worth it if you own pets

I dont own a pet, however my sister has a puppy so I asked her to trial the Oates Pet Hair Brush for me. She loved the scratch free rubber bristles, which were gentle on her puppy's fur and skin. She mentioned how easy it was to washes and clean the brush. Just a rinse in warm soapy water, and it is ready for its next use! I love how effective the brush is in removing pet hair from all surfaces including my sofas, carpet (i have black carpet - what was i thinking!), car interiors and clothing. I think I might have to buy another brush to keep at my place for when puppy visits!

Oates pet hair brush is amazing in cleaning pet hair from all the surfaces, specially on couch and mattress, I love it's design, it is very easy to hold and have enough space between rubber bristles. My son is diagnosed with autism and I don't know why but he loves that brush, the plastic bristles gives him a sensory relief and he is more eager to use it in cleaning than me. It is a perfect handy cleaning brush and I would recommend this.

Having struggled with pet hair, and tried many ways to remove it, for many years.....I was sceptical about this little rubber brush. Then I was surprised, it does a pretty good job. Works well on your lounge suite, on your couch cushions and covers. Does brilliantly on your clothes and amazing on the car upholstery. It was so good, I loaned it to my daughter for a bit and have let several friends use it. Pet hair removal has never been so easy! And the clean up of the brush after cleaning up the pet hair is so easy too. A couple of my friends have bought one already and another couple have said they plan to buy one. Such an impressive gadget !!!

I have 3 cats that have a lot of fur and it just seems to stick to everything - was a bit skeptical of using a brush because have used others that weren't as efficient. But last night I tried it on my boys bed as the cat likes to sleep there and it was so quick and easy to use! Would recommend for sure.

I even didn't know how much i need this brush. Very easy to use and is picking up cats hair very easy ( and our hair as well) no longer hair attached to furniture. Highly recommended to every animal owner

Oates Pet Hair Brush can help remove hair on most surfaces from the couch, from the carpet, from the car etc. You’ll be surprised how much the brush can pick up. I use this to clean up dog hair around the house before I do a vacuum so it doesn’t clog up the vacuum cleaner. You can also use it as a brush to use on the pet to remove excess hair and it seems my dog quite like the feeling of a massage as he wags his tail in delight when I run the brush over him.

Unfortunately, this product wasn't useful to me as I don't own a pet. I plan to gift it to a friend for her to try and look forward to hearing what she thinks about it. As yet, I haven't seen her to pass it onto and may not do so before this trial is finished.

That brush is amazing, the handle is long enough to hold easily, The rubber bristles are strong and easily removes pet hair from all areas, I told my friend about Oates pets hair brush and she borrowed it for 2 days and totally loved it (she has 2 furry cats). It is not only good for cleaning but also good for scrubbing the pets because they love the feel of the soft bristles.

Not only does the brush remove pet hair from the carpet but the dog likes to be brushed with it. It has a firm grip and soft bristles. Very happy with the product

With one stroke most of the fur and hair is gone. Even if its used fof ejust human hair on carpet.. it works a treat

I tested out this pet hair brush on an armchair that our little pug x jack russell likes to sit in. She is currently shedding a lot so the Oates Pet Hair Brush was really put to the test. It did a fantastic job on removing the majority of the hair, but just took a little time and a bit of elbow grease. I also tested it on a jacket that had been sitting on the back of the chair. It came up pretty clean as well and meant when it went through the washing machine it did not have to be washed separately. My daughter gave it a go and she managed to handle it pretty well too. The only downsides were the effort level to get it clean and also all the hair was on the ground when I finished. I guess it needed somewhere to go. I have seen some reviews that used the brush on the dog and they enjoyed it...I might give that a go as well.

I was sceptical about this brush until I used it. My dog does not shed much but was surprised how much gunk it got out of my carpets. Especially human hair. My carpets look clean and got a lot of material out of my carpets in my car as well. Will be using this in my routine

The Oates Pet Hair brush did better than I expected (first impressions weren't high) and did get most of the dog hair off the sofa. Recommend but others may be better.

While it was super easy to use, it just isn’t something we would use on a daily basis as our dogs don’t shed very much, but would be great for those that do

My dog has longer wirery hair (Maltese Schitzu poodle) so this tool was not as effective in her. But for short haired dogs trying to brush off excess hair I’m sure it’d be great. I also tried it to see if it would take hair off clothes etc but looks like it’s meant for brushing the dog directly only

This product was really nice to use, as it was easy to grip and felt ergonomic in your hands as you try to remove pet hairs from the sofa and carpet. I found it was effective at doing its job (the electrostatic rubbers grab the hairs well) and it is also easy to rinse clean if you need to. I would recommend this to pet owners.

The pet hair came of my lounge with ease i also used it on my bed it worked ok but not as good as i would have liked. However i will recommend the pet brush to family and friends as it works really well on the lounge. Not sure if i would purchase in the future.

I used the pet brush on my short haired dog and it didn’t really do much ! Was more like a massage for her ! I do think it would work for other people with cats and long haired dogs effectively though as it did work to remove my human hair off the couch and out of the rug !

This brush is a wonderful idea! There’s only one thing worse than pet hair on furniture... pet hair on CLOTHES! Unfortunately I found this brush to be no match for border collie fur. It worked great on the cat fur so maybe it might be better suited for short hair fur. It took quite a few goes with the brush to get the fur off the cushions. It is a very sturdy brush and the bristles hold a lot of fur. But I found it to be no better than the gloves you can buy to remove the fur. But like I said it was great for cat fur and could be just as good for short hair fur.

I have a gorgeous white persian - only bad side is Summer and moulting. The Oates Pet Hair Brush is a very sturdy brush though it wouldnt pick up barely any hair off any surface. Just left sweeping white "super fine" hair across my carpet, Doona, lounge etc........ But on the flip side it was the best "Hair Brush" to brush my cat with. It collected truck loads of hair of her, better than any pet brush i have ever used.. So i would totally recommend for a Pet Hair Brush - before it reaches the rest of the house

U have 2 short haired dogs that do malt alot but they are not allowed on our couch. I did test this brush on my childrens fold out couches whilst it removed some hair most was left. From the feel of it this brush would be great for a family that has long hair dogs or cats that would be grabbed easier by the brush

I didn't find this worked well on our lounge, we also have floor boards and no carpet. maybe it works better on carpets
