Review: Maggi One Pan Chicken, Leek & Mushroom Risotto

What a great tasty Risotto, all cooked in the one pan. Loved the rich flavours of the Thyme, Rosemary, Parsley & Pepper which really complimented the Chicken, Leek, Mushroom & Spinach in the risotto. The addition of the cream gave the risotto a rich and creamy texture which the whole family loved. I also liked that there was no added MSG, artifical colours or flavours. Very happy with the serving size - 4 per pack. Great product, thanks Maggie

Quick and easy to make, and the taste was simply amazing! It was full of flavor and so yummy, I went for seconds. The younger and more picky kiddies were not really fussed on trying it, but my 10 year old loved it!! I have never made a risotto or even tried one, so for a first timer I was impressed. Will most definitely be cooking this again.

yum yum yum. I love this risotto base. Definately something I will adding to my grocery list from now on. The kids loved it, my nephew loved it (he doesn't usually like anything rice). I actually enjoyed making it and it was so easy. The end result was delicious.

This was such a fast meal with a delicate flavour and it is definitely a winner in my home. It has a nice texture and the fragrance of the dish was delightful.

I have never made risotto before as I assumed it was a pain to get right, well I was proved wrong tonight with this meal base! Super easy instructions to follow and only half an hour to make. During cooking, my daughter called out 'Dinner smells yummy Mummy!' and once it was ready, she demolished it and my fiancé went back for seconds! We all really enjoyed it and I can safely say that I will be grabbing this meal base again in the near future.

I made this tonight. It is a busy night for us as the kids all have swimming, so I needed something quick and healthy. I can honestly say this was perfect. I actually made it in my pressure cooker so I reduced the water to 600mls, and it came out perfect. All three of my kids (11,8 and 2) loved it and the toddler had 3 bowls. I loved the flavor, not overpowering and it was the perfect blend of flavors. I will definitely be buying this in the future. The kids have requested I make it part of my normal meal planning. Thanks so much for giving me the opportunity to try this great product.

We love risotto, and the flavour combination was perfect. We enjoyed trying this new product, and will certainly look out for it again in the supermarket. I am sure that we can substitute some of the ingredients to make it even more delicious, maybe some snow peas or even carrot. Will definitely look out for other flavour combinations too.

this was my first time cooking risotto, I have always avoided ever attempting to cook it as Ive always presumed it would be quite difficult. however I followed the instructions to the T and it took no longer than half hour including prep to have this ready and served on the table. It was the first time my husband (33yrs) and my son (15months) had ever tried risotto and it went down really well. The flavours where extremely tasty, I will definitely be adding this to dinner meal options. Yum!!

I have never tried risotto before, even as a foodie, it was a dish I thought would be too difficult to cook during 'witching hour' and who wants a back up plan ten minutes before dinner time when the kids are already starting to gnaw the table. Without having to buy anything out of the normal, I was able to prepare the risotto with my 9 month old at my feet and Mr 7 starving at the bench. All up it took 'us' 25 minutes from start to finish and less than five minutes for it to be all gone. Mr 7 had a second helping even and Miss 9mths managed it perfectly!! My husband doesn't not get home until after 8pm and the meal was still delicious after being warmed in the microwave and there was plenty left for lunches today. I will be buying more of these to keep in the pantry for the crazy days when we are in a rush from school to sport to homework and still get a tasty, balanced dinner for the family.

What a great product. I was able to whip up this meal in under 30 minutes. I was pleasantly surprised in how great the meal was without adding additional seasonings of any type. The ingredients and cooking times were also accurate, something a lot of packets do not get right. I will be buying this product.

fantastic easy recipe I really cant believe how all of my kids asked for more, My partner even loved it. Maggi makes meal times so much easier for me as generally all kids and adults in the house love the food

Maggi One Pan Risotto is so delicious. It was a huge hit with the whole family and will definitely become a regular feature in our meal plans. It is so easy and tasty. Chicken mushroom and leek went so well together and was gobbled up very quickly. It's great to have easy tasty go to meals in the cupboard for when you want something different for dinner.

Upon trying the risotto base, I was amazed at the flavours packed into it. It had to be the most tasty risotto I have cooked and very easy to prepare. My husband is not a risotto fan but he said he enjoyed it and would have it again. The kids enjoyed it too and will buy it again.

Very easy to use. My whole family LOVED this. Three of my 4 children(#4 is 8 weeks) had 2 big helpings and my hubby also had 2 big helpings. I was left with half of a bowl which I enjoyed alot

I'd never made risotto before, so it was great to try something different. My 14 year old did the cooking, so easy to use, and tasted better than risotto I've had in some restaurants. She cut the mushrooms up really small so my non-mushroom eater would eat it, which he did. He claimed he didn't like it, but didn't leave any in the bowl! Love that it's all in one pan, so not much washing up, will definately but it again, and will try the other flavours.

Having made risotto before the hard way this was a super easy to make risotto and very tasty. I left the chicken out of the risotto and increased the vegetables instead. Served grilled chicken breast and small garden salad on the side and the meal was enjoyed by everyone.

So firstly this one had ingredients in it that I don't eat. Never the less, I dutifully cooked it as a side for my partner to enjoy with his dinner. Now its hard to get two words out of him but he did seem to enjoy this one and I quote "It's alright hey". Ha ha - man of many words! It was easy to make and I think he would have it again for sure!!

Our whole family enjoyed this meal, and it was even good for youngest too which I struggle with a bit. Easy, and delicious!

As my husband doesn't like mushrooms I halved the quantity of mushrooms and it was very tasty. I added some extra parmesan cheese at the end (we are cheese lovers!) and it was so delicious! This will definitely be made once a week. I am keen to try and make it in the rice cooker. Love this risotto!!

WOW! I have always been too scared to make a risotto, watching all those cooking shows hasn't helped! So I was very eager to try MAGGI's One Pan Chicken, Leek & Mushroom risotto. As luck would have it my teenage daughter made one at school that same day, so she volunteered to 'show me the risotto ropes' so to speak. I liked how easy the recipe was to follow. It was quick to make, and the flavour was AWESOME!!! :) Congratulations MAGGI you have changed my mind about risotto! :) We will definitely get this again. ps. You even got hubby to eat baby spinach! :) So that is an extra star in itself! :)

My kids loved this. It's hard getting them to eat rice and vegetables at the best of times but I made this and it was gone in a flash. They even asked for it again.

I couldn't believer that this dish was literally a one pot dinner. I don't like pumpkin, so I used potato instead. The dish was so tasty and more-ish - I felt like I could've sat down and eaten the whole bowl myself! I will definately be buying this product with it being so quick and easy to make.

Was a pleasant surprise to get the Maggie one pan mix in the post last week. I was looking forward to giving it a try as I'd never made risotto before. It was so easy to use and it only took 30mins in total to get the meal on the table. The kids loved the meal and it was an easy way to get extra veges into their meal. I would definately recommend the product and will be trying the different variations when I next go shopping!

Very impressed with this simple to make Risotto. It was great to come home from work and be able to cook something so delicious without taking up too much time. The kids aren't big Risotto fans but they all loved this dish. I know what I will be buying next time I want a quick simple dinner. Would definately recommend to anyone - 10/10 for me. :)

The taste was great, The kid loved it and being packed with veg made it a great family meal ,the only complaint was that there was no leftovers !! "YUMMY!" Is what I heard when I cooked this meal for my 3 year old and hubby. So very easy to use and made even better by the fact there is only 1 dish to wash up after! We have loved it so much that a packet now lives in our cupboard for those dinners that creep up and you have nothing prepared. Hubby took the left overs to work the next day and said after sitting in the sauce overnight it was even more delicious!

Risotto can be become a weekly favourite with Maggie One Pan Chicken, Leek & Mushroom as we always have these ingredients on hand. Fantastic how you can just leave it to cook. Usual method of cooking risotto was off the menu due to the effort of constant stirring but Maggi have come up trumps again with this one pan wonder. Everyone loved the taste and I have another winner to put on my weekly menu planner.

I was a little worried about making a risotto, I have previously tried a risotto with another brand and didn't turn out well. I was so amazed how this turned out it was creamy and all the flavour combinations worked so well together. I am not a god cook so I love the idea of the one pan to cook a meal quick and easy to make. My little 14 month old really dg into it and so did my partner, I of course loved it also. Will definitely recommend to friends and family to make and will buy this again too!

Risotto is something I have never mastered at home - either its too dry or too gluggy wet. So long as you buy the right kind of rice (arborio) it usually comes out 'OK' I love Chicken and Leek soup so I gave this a try. Oh my it was delicious. You could tell as soon as you opened the packet how yummy this was going to be. The good part about this recipe base is that it is ONE PAN... just pop your ingredients into a pan and off you go. I have already bought this again and its so yummy - do not hesitate to buy!

Normally risotto is too hard and time consuming to make so it gets put in the too hard basket but with Maggi one pot wonder we now can make risotto a weekly staple in our house. My son loves to cook and he had no problem making this one and we all loved it. I loved the night off in the kitchen so thumbs up on this one now I want to try the whole range. Thank you Maggi for making dinner time more fun.

We are not into Leek so I replaced it with pumpkin, and we all just adored it. The ease of making it is incredible, my hubby did the cooking for me, I can't cook anymore due to chronic pain. He is a bit funny about new recipe's, but using all 3 of these Maggi products were fantastic, he now has 3 more meals to add to our dinners, and even the Maggi One Pan Chicken, Leek (pumpkin) & Mushroom Risotto was absolutely delicious. Even though we don't eat Leek, I still gave it a 5 out of 5 because it is easy to change from Leek to another ingredient. I was so impressed how much Mick enjoyed cooking the Maggi meals. The smell was incredible wafting into the lounge room and he was outstanding, raving and ranting about how easy it is to cook with Maggi easy meals. Thank you for giving us the opportunity to review these products, I enjoyed every single one, other than the stir fry being a bit too spicy for me, but we are trying to work out what we can put in the recipe to soak up the sauce so it isn't so spicy. That is another thing about Maggi, you can play with the recipe, alter it a bit and it still doesn't take anything away from the initial meal and recipe. YUM YUM YUM. Thank you sooooo much. He is buying some to put in our pantry for other meals in our next big shop on Saturday week. We are also going to try other Maggi meals. We have had some in the past, but we will have more now we have tried these three. I will post a picture next time. Ive never made risotto before, so this was a complete gamble! plus im not one to like an over powering mushroom flavour either, but this was so simple and easy compared to how hard I thought it would be and the flavour was just terrific, there was no overpowerment and it all blended in together to make a great dish that even the kids asked for seconds for!

excellent I used leftover chicken and mushrooms too. Can use it with rice and diced vegetables too. Good to have Maggi packets in pantry too, lots of exciting things you can create too.Add to other dishes for extra flavour too. A winner for our family, I have never attempted a risotto before thinking it was all too hard but with this pouch it was a cinch. Tasted great and the rice was cooked to perfection. The kids who are usually really picky eaters finished their plates which was great to see. I have added this to my shopping list as a staple now for the pantry. It will also be handy when extra guests pop in for dinner as it certainly makes a fair amount.

This risotto was easy and we already had all the ingrediants. Our teenage son who has been learning cooking this year at school wanted to try it and he was super successful with it. We added a little creamy feta at the end. This is most definately something we plan to buy regularly in our shopping.

Easy to prepare and clean up after making maggi one pan, the risotto had a nice flavour which the whole family enjoyed. But as I had none of the ingredients it was a little expensive to buy everything that was required

Well my title says it all! We don't eat a lot of risotto in our house because it is a long dish to prepare and often the flavour just isn't there. I found the Maggi One Dish Risotto super easy to put together. All in one pan is suck a cinch!! My hubby is fussy when it comes to rice dishes...he was peasantly surprised! Good one Maggi!

This recipe was absolutely divine and demolished by everyone in the family. It was soooo easy to make and the flavours were just delicious. I really enjoyed the Maggi One Pan Chicken, Leek & Mushroom Risotto. Simple and so easy to make, and only one pan to wash up!! I also added capsicum to give it a bit of colour. Could easily add extra veg to make it stretch a bit further. Very yummy and will be buying this in the future. Two thumbs up.

I have never cooked a risotto before so it was fun to do. It turned out perfectly and tasted delicious. My partner isn't a big fan of rice but he loved it and my three year old practically inhaled it. It was lovely and creamy and full of flavour. I found it quite easy to cook and not a lot of preparation required

This has got to be the easiest risotto ever. Even I couldn't ruin it. I read some of the other reviews prior to making it myself and, taking note of some of the comments about it being a little bland, added a decent teaspoon of crushed garlic as well when cooking the leek & mushrooms. It was really tasty. If I had to be critical on one point, the taste of rosemary in the sachet mix was a little strong and overpowered the other herbs but it was not so strong as to ruin the dish. We will definitely be having this meal again and looking to see if there are other flavours in the Maggi risotto range.

We enjoyed Maggi One Pan! I slightly modified the recipe adding onion and peas (instead of mushrooms and leak) to suit my family's tastes! The parmesan cheese and cracked pepper added at the end really worked well with the flavours of the dish!! My hubby is a bit fussy, but he was first finished and went back for seconds!! A success here!

Definately a winner in my house everyone loved it my 4 year old son had seconds. Added bonus that it only had one pan to cook it which is less washing up. Also easy to prepare & follow directions. As a lover of risotto will definately buy again.

Loved how simple the instructions were, although I did add more cream as it needed a tiny bit more, The flavours weren't overpowering and the kids ate every mouthful, one came back for seconds which is odd, he's usually a picky eater. I'm not a very creative cook and have never tried to cook with leek before..upon asking my partners mum what part if the leek to cut every other part if this recipe was a breeze. The meal was prepared and served all in 30minutes! My son who is 9years old on first glimpse of the mushrooms screwed his face up and said he doesn't think he will eat it as he only likes his mushrooms raw.. I told him to please try this digs for a good review.. Let me tell you his plate was completely empty!! My entire family loved it and I will definitely be busting this product again!!!

Very yummy. I left out the leek as I'm not a fan, but was very tasty. I found the leftovers the next day were even better as the flavours had absorbed even more into the rice.

We love risotto in our house, but the thought of making it from scratch is what stops us from making it much. But using this packet mix with extremely straight forward instructions made it easy for us to make it a midweek meal if we really wanted to. The risotto was cooked in the one pan, making it less washing up afterwards too. A win-win all 'round if you ask me.

I love the taste of the risotto and my fussy daughter ate them all up with no problem. However I do worry about the salt content and whether if it is such a good idea for me to continue using these in my cooking because I am also feeding a little toddler :( I would definitely consider it as an emergency meal helper but I won't be using it everyday :(

I love cooking things in one pan. Usually means something is quick and simple and less mess to clean. The One Pan Risotto was all that. The instructions were simple and it was easy. No standing around adding small amounts of water/stock and almost constantly stirring this Risotto pretty much cooked itself. Tasted good as well. I found it was just the thing for mid week when want something nice but cant be bothered with to much effort. THis ones going on the shopping list.

I love risotto and am quite fussy when it comes to it being cooked correctly. I thought to get a smooth and great tasting risotto you had no choice but to watch over it, stirring it all the time. I was so pleasantly surprised that Maggi have taken that chore away and still manage to produce a wonderful creamy meal with lots of flavour. Highly recommended.

I like risotto but have always been too scared to try to make one myself as I know how easy it is to mess them up. I was skeptical at first about how good a risotto could possibly be out of a packet. Wow was I impressed. Super easy. No fuss, no messing around adding a ladle at a time of liquid. It was truely amazing and incredibly tasty. Will so be buying this again, even better was the fact that my 4 year old ate it as well and liked it so winner in my books

Even on the stovetop I knew this was going to be a super quick and easy meal to cook but I decided to try it out in the Thermomix. Not having to stir left me completely hands free and it was so simple. I really liked the dish, my hubby LOVED it and has already requested it again. The kids aren't so used to risotto and took some convincing that it wasn't just gluggy! They ate most of the rice and the chicken so I'd say it was a success.

This was a lot yummier than we all expected! I have never even attempted to make a risotto before but this was so easy I couldn't fail. The flavour was great and I even had to share with my 1yo. I think the biggest hurdle was going to be my hubby who doesn't like mushrooms or leaks but actually liked it (while pulling out the mushrooms he could see). In the end I would most highly recommend it and I am definitely going to make it again.

I was cooking chicken and mushrooms other day and put in rice uncooked and packet of risotto mix and lit milk let it simmer was delicious and easy to do. Like packets of mixes in my cupboard it is true. To add a different flavour and something new

The family absolutely loved this one pan meal which was fantastic for me being the only one who cooks ,it was easy to prepare and delicious ,the youngest wasn't so thrilled with the spinach but still ate it !would recommend for busy Mums

We loved this, it was easy to cook, super tasty and everyone had empty bowls when they finished so it was a hit all round. We don't tend to eat much risotto but hubby said after we finished this one that he was going to check what other flavours they sell - and he probably eats the least rice of all of us so for him to enjoy it was a huge plus). Fantastic flavour, simple to cook, tasty balanced meal, what more could we want? Certainly one that will be added to our shopping going forward.

The Maggi One Pan Chicken Leek & Mushroom Risotto was so loved by the whole family that it has become a regular on our menu. I love the whole One Pan concept & it's easiness to cook that I had to try the other Maggi One Pan Chicken, Pumpkin & Baby Spinach Risotto. This one was equally great & the kids didn't even complain that it had pumpkin in it. The pumpkin certainly added a sweetness to the dish which got balanced out once I added the cracked pepper & feta cheese. I hope Maggi continue to make more in this risotto range.

I really liked the ease of this meal, I cooked it in my rice cooker. I have a household of fussy eaters and in particular my husband doesn't like rice however he actually ate this meal. I added extra vegetables as well.

Loved it. Really easy to make unlike when we make it from scratch you don't have to consistently stir it. loved the flavour just added some peas and corn. Going out to see if I can find and buy the Maggi One Pan chicken, pumpkin & baby spinach risotto. We all love risotto and are always looking for a quick meal on nights that the kids have sport or work and can heat up without losing the flavour.

Really liked this base, it made the risotto quick and easy to prepare.. I love risotto, but dont make it often as it does take a fair bit of time.. This made it much quicker, and the taste was good.. Quite strong bold flavours, but I like that sort of thing, as does my partner.. Kids were not overly keen to try it, as they dont really like mushrooms, but they were pleasantly surprised..Will use again!

The kids find the taste to be equally nice as their is no complaints about what's for dinner and they leave their plates clean. Maggi One Pan Chicken, Leek & Mushroom Risotto is a breeze to use, no tiresome adding of stock and stirring every few minutes. Just everything together and away you go. Maggi One Pan Dinners are winners!

When I first received this product, I thought "I'll never make this - risotto is too hard". I put off making it for a few days, but when I did I was pleasantly surprised! It was so easy and tasted great. I don't normally make packet stuff because the tasted is usually bland, but this was really nice! I loved that it was all in the one pot. I will definitely buy this in the future. I took a photo to share but the file size was too big :(

The younger children did not really take to this. All the more for the older ones and the parents. My 2nd oldest who hates cooking loved making this and even made it for the girlfriend. She went looking for the take away containers. So yes it has a place in the pantry.

This was very easy to make and hubby and the kids loved it!! Unfortunately as I'm allergic to mushrooms I couldn't try it, but everyone else enjoyed it...

I loved this dish. Out of the three I trialled it was my favourite, and my family agree. Even my daughter who is 16 months old like this dish. It was so easy to make, and only having to clean up one pan is a definite bonus. I would certainly buy this one again.

Just finished cooking up the ONE PAN Risotto chicken, leek and mushroom and oh my....never tasted any thing like it. The taste was to die for and the kids thoroughly enjoyed it as much as the adults. Easy and convennient to whip up in no time. I love packets like that for busy mums!

Making a risotto have to be easy, flavoursome and turn out just right, and this one ticks all 3. This would be one thing added on my shopping list for nights that I want a quick meal made without comprising flavour!

I'm always hesitant making Risotto, possibly because I haven't had success. Maggi Risotto Chicken, Leek & Mushroom proved to good to be true. After browning the chicken, leek and mushroom, I simply added the mix & rice for 10 mins. After adding the remaining water, I held my breathe, didn't take my eyes of the mixture and stirred. The cream really added to that creamy flavour. WOW! it was easy, I nailed it! ;) & converted my husband to a risotto lover.

I've never tackled a risotto before but it was so easy. My kids ate it begrudgingly, but their preferred meal is a sausage sizzle haha... Hubby and I loved it! Added a grating of parmesan before serving too. Would buy this regularly!

Another great one pan dinner for my little family.

I loved the ease it took to prepare this dish tonight. It was easy all in one pot and allowed me to take some out for my son who is dairy free, before we added the cream. It was delightful and definitely something I will make again

Served 2 adults, 4.5yr old and 2.5 year old. Positives - Adults loved the taste and enjoyed the meal. Our 4.5 yr old described it as "The rice is really, really yummy and the chicken is too." We all ate a good sized serve. Negatives - Would have been a stretch to feed 4 adults. Yes only one pan was required but you also need a couple of measuring cups and the jug to mix the recipe base. All up, would definitely use this again. It makes a nice change to the usual work night dinners but without the time usually required for a risotto and a great flavour.

This arrived today which helped me decide on tonights dinner :) It required me to add: leek, mushroom, chicken breast, cream, baby spinach & water. My son is lactose intolerant so I served his before adding the cream (which is luckily the last step along with the baby spinach) so that was really easy to adjust to suit his needs. Everybody in our family had seconds (incl 1 and 4 yo). I changed the recipe slightly as I added 6 slices of shortcut bacon & therefore a little extra water. It was delicious , easy to follow and packed with fresh & healthy veg.

I bought this product at the supermarket after trying the Maggi one pan dinner risotto with the pumpkin and baby spinach that you add the chicken to [ I was given this via mom to review.]This one with the leek and mushroom was equally as nice to eat and very tasty. It is such a handy item to have in your pantry for those quick delicious meals and the great thing about this risotto is that you use only one pan so no huge piles of washing up!

It was quick and easy to make & the whole family loved it. Especially my fussy two year old. I loved the one pan thing, it meant less dishes after a long day.

My family and I enjoyed it quite a bit, it was just the taste I didn't really like but my kids really enjoyed the taste of it. I really enjoyed how easy and quick it was to make.

Unfortunately for me, I don't eat onion - makes me sick. Sadly one of the ingredients in this was onions :( My partner however loved it. It was easy to cook and turned out deliciously creamy. He had no complaints and loved being able to eat something with onion for a nice change, ha ha!!

I love one pan meals, they are quick and easy and always delicious. This risotto was all that and more. The instructions were so easy to follow and I didn't have to spend ages constantly adding water and stirring to get the right consistency. This was delicious and was enjoyed by all.

The has now become a weekly meal in our house. The kids love it. I add some more vegies in it and different ones each time I make it and both the kids gobble it down so quickly. Since trying the ones I was sent, I have also branched out and tried quite a few of the different ones in the Maggi selection. Thank you for the introduction MoM.

I regularly make Chicken and Mushroom Risotto from scratch which my family really enjoys. I was not sure how this product would taste but it was actually really yummy. The inclusion of the leek, baby spinach and cream, which was different to my usual risotto, was really tasty and made the product nice and fresh. The instructions were easy to follow and also I didn't have to stand there the whole time stirring as a large amount of liquid was added after two 10 minute intervals and absorbed in with the odd stir.. I was worried that it may be gluggy but the texture was great. I will definitely buy again.

Let me start by saying that my Husband Hates risotto. He thinks it should be a side dish or mushroom stuffer only, and not a main meal. So it took some convincing to even consider the dish for dinner. It was quick and simple to prepare. Eventually my husband tried it and actually liked it. He still thought it would be better as a side dish rather than a main, but I would be happy with it either way. My son absolutely loved it and I would make it again just for lunches for him.

This is so easy to cook. Hubby and I loved it.....The kiddies not so much. We would buy it again for the adults

This meal is very appealing. It's easy peasy! I love the concept of the one pot wonder. Exactly what a busy mum is looking for. The flavour was a little mild for me, however my toddlers both loved it. I'm looking forward to trying some other flavours.

At first glance I was a little underwhelmed. It didn't appear to be anything I wouldn't ordinarily make myself... The end result however was incredibly tasty. Sophisticated enough for a foodie adult, but not overwhelming for my 3yo who wolfed his down. Great addition to the cupboard for days where inspiration is lacking.

I used Maggi One Pan Chicken, Leek & Mushroom Risotto flavour base and was surprised at how much flavour is packed into the powdered stock. Once it is mixed with warm water, the flavours and herbs combine to give an authentic and rich broth that brings out the full flavour of the chicken, leek and mushrooms. A quick and easy meal thats enjoyed by all.

This product was easy to cook and didn't take much time. My 20 month old loved it and will definitely want to try this product again! Never tried a product like this before so I'm very thankful I got to try this product for free. Thankyou so much !!!!dont like pumpkin though so didn't add it!

This was really yummy and the kids liked it too. The only thing I didn't love was the amount of cream, I felt that it could have been halved and some parmesan cheese added instead. I had enough left over to make arancini balls for the next day by adding an egg and rolling in bread crumbs. I love risotto and this one is yum and easy to make. thanks

Love the Maggi Risotto Chicken, Leek & Mushroom mix. Surprised at how easy the risotto was to make & that it actually turned out, considering risotto is hard to make. Loved the fact that you all you use is 1 pan, meaning less washing up. Nice flavour & would definitely make again.

This is something that I normally wouldn't even try as I am not a fan of Leek. But as I got it to try I thought why not give it a go and I did. I went and got the ingredients that were needed, prepared and cooked it with help from my 3yr old. One very easy meal to do that with. Dished up and sat down to eat a bit hesitant but hey what did I have to lose? As it turned out nothing it was delicious all bowls polished off. A definite do again.

Hubby took charge with this one. We weren't able to find a leek at Woolworths so we used onion instead. He cooked the chicken separately to the risotto and served on top. The risotto was lovely and silky, we didn't need to add all the recommended cream either as it was creamy enough with just a small amount. Would be interested to see if they bring out different flavours of risotto.

I normally only do oven baked risottos, but this one was so easy to do and so delicious. We added slightly more cream to ours and everyone loved it. Kids were a bit hesitant, but myself, husband and mum absolutely loved it. Will definitely be buying this one in the future.

OMG this stuff is AMAZING....... I have never cooked a risotto before and now i am HOOKED. I had no idea how easy it was or how delicious. I followed the instructions to a T and VOILA!! i created a masterpiece. I would recommend that anyone who loves to cook give the Maggi one pan chicken, leek and mushroom risotto a go.... You cant go wrong :)

I did not use mushrooms as one family member doesn't like them, but even with just the chicken and leak, there was a lot of flavour. It was an extremely easy dish to make and quite filling. We also had lots of leftovers for the next day! It was great not needing to constantly stir the dish so that I could do other things while the rice cooked, and it still turned out perfectly.

The whole family enjoyed this quick to prepare Chicken, Leek and Mushroom Risotto with brown rice. Its a great feeling when you get some vegetables in your little ones tummies.

I made up this meal a while ago. Whilst I did have to stand over it a bit it was still a quick and tasty meal. It is the first time that a risotto has turned out good for me lol. The kids absolutely loved it and would have it again. I have it in my pantry as a staple now.

Easy to use, tasty and healthy. Something different to what we're used to which was a nice change. Leftovers for hubby's work lunch = win win!

Having never made risotto before I was apprehensive to start as I have heard risotto can be tricky to cook, I did feel it needed more liquid to absorb as the rice was slightly under done but overall I enjoyed the taste and the ease of which it was to prepare. I'll certainly try it again :)

Love the ingredient that are used in this recipe sachet. It was easy and quick to prepare. Cooking time was definitely shorter that standing over the stove. The kids enjoyed and that the main thing in our household.

This was a quick and easy midnight meal. We did find it funny that you had to add virtually everything, so it's basically a flavour sachet. My oldest son and husband absolutely loved it, the younger two weren't fussed. I would buy it again for my son, although I do make a bake in the oven risotto from scratch that is just as easy.

I loved the taste of this rissoto sauce it was very interesting as it reminded me of a meal that I had once in Fiji that I absolutely loved It was quick and easy to use and less washing up to do which is an added bonus I found my little one didn't enjoy it as much because I think it was a little bit peppery for her but the hubby and I really enjoyed the taste and would definitely purchase it to use again

This was a very tasty dish and easy to make! With a newborn and a toddler to contend with, this risotto was perfect for me as there wasn't the need for constant stirring. I had all the ingredients on hand and the family loved it! (Except the fussy toddler) I will be buying this product again and recommending it to all my time poor mummy friends!

for a quick alternative to risotto made from scratch ladel by ladel of stock I was pleasantly surprised the aroma of the thyme and rosemary was lovely I did add a half cup of parmesan cheese when I added the cream and the sauce was lovely and rich in flavour and consistency, a pleasant easy meal that I would recommend especially when you may be time poor in the kitchen yet you still want something healthy and satisfying. thank you.

My partner and I really enjoyed this meal, it was quick to prepare and easy to cook ( so I let him do it). The only down side was that our 2 little ones weren't very keen on it as a main meal but they did enjoy helping their dad prepare it.

Maggi One Pan Chicken, Pumpkin & Baby Spinach Risotto was very easy to make, the recipe called for a few easy to obtain ingredients that added texture to a delicious meal that satisfied my families varied tastes. The recipe was easy enough for my teenaged daughter to create a family meal that appealed to the whole family.

This was a tasty meal that was super easy to make. My toddler daughter loved the taste. After a long week at work, Friday is normally our takeaway night. Instead of takeaway last week, I thought in would make this Maggie One Pan meal. It tasted better than takeaway, was an absolutely no fuss meal to make and got the thumbs up from my husband and daughter. This is a product that I will be buying again.

This was a great ' what can I cook tonight? ' meal and the best part my 5 year old is very fussy eater. It was a little too salty for me though! The instructions were also very easy to understand and follow...it also works with regular long grain rice as I did not have any risotto rice grain on hand...the sample came only within 2 days of submission due date!

I was surprised at how tasty it was and my fussy daughter ate the whole lot! I loved that l could make a dinner meal so easily but next time l would include some meat as we were hungry later that night.

Both my husband & I really liked the flavour of this risotto. Easy to prepare and all done in the one pan. Adding the liquid in two halves was time saving, but almost thought there was going to be too much! To be honest, if you love risotto make it the old fashioned way. This is good for a quick packet meal. I would make again though.

Maggi one pan risotto was so easy to use! I've never had a good track record with risottos, so I was very surprised at how easy it was to cook and cook well. It only took a few easy steps to create a big meal that was the perfect texture and a hit with my kids. (It made enough for 5-6 decent serves) the only downside, I found the flavour to be a bit bland but salty and lacking some punch. (maybe a bigger hit of garlic would have helped?)Otherwise a great meal for the whole family that was easy to make.

I didn't know that is it so easy to cook risotto on the stove. I like it, think is very tasty and delicious but my husband and son didn't like it. They said is too peppery.

Yum, this was a very tasty meal creation! I absolutely loved it, my 11 year old complained about the mushroom and wanted more taste & my 3 year old ate the whole bowl without any complaints!! That was surprising! I can't wait to eat the left overs tomorrow & will definitely be purchasing this to cook for my family again… next time i will make sure my husband is home too!

It was a lot easier to cook than normal risottos, smelt delicious and tasted yummy, although a little overpowering. I had to add extra cream. I found that unless I was constantly stirring it, it would stick to the bottom of the pan quite easily, even on a low heat, so I needed to add extra water. All in all, it was easy to make and we would add it to our fortnightly menu. Two thumbs up from our 14 month old daughter, she kept wanting more!

Great smooth texture and beautiful flavour. I actually didn't make Risotto, I just used as a base sauce and added chicken and veg. Would definitely use again. Bigger pouches are needed I think to cook for larger families

i love making risottos, and never thought to use a packet mix, but this was delicious, not a fan of pumkin, so i used mushrooms instead, i think this mix is one of those products that you can customise to suit your taste and this is why i will definately be using it again.

Found this extremely easy to use. The flavour did taste somewhat 'artificial' though but as far as following the steps and making an easy risotto goes, this is a winner. One pot cooking is always a favourite in my household. Will buy and keep in the cupboard 'in case of emergencies' or whenever I need something to cook quickly.

I really liked the Maggi One Pan Chicken, Pumpkin & Baby Spinach Risotto. It was very tasty and hit all the right taste buds! I really enjoyed the flavours that came through. The flavours were not over powering they were just right. My children enoyed the dinner aswell but not as much as what I did. My children are not fans of pumpkin which put them off somewhat.

My family really enjoyed this meal. It was easy to make and one pot as stated. My husband and I found the flavouring to be a bit strong and would increase the rice and water when making again. The children cleaned their plates and asked for more...best recommendation I can give.

Liked that I didn't have to put a bit of stock in stir and repeat over and over again. I always have chicken mushrooms and leek in the fridge. So it was quick and easy.

For a quick, easy and tasty meal MAGGI ONE PAN CHICKEN, LEEK & MUSHROOM RISOTTO ticks all the boxes. I usually like to make my meals from scratch but use packet mixes when I'm feeling a bit slack. This was a simple way to make risotto and I have to admit, I'll probably make risotto like this from now on.

Congrats MAGGI, this was an easy quick meal to prepare, great for us working mums. Smelled and looked and most of all tasted great. My 4 year olds were not to excited about it but gave it a go. They are slightly fussy 4 yr olds so will keep trying. Overall great job and will most certainly be putting this in my shopping trolleybagain.

Risotto would often be featured in cooking shows. It looked hard to prepare, until Maggi's one pan risotto came into the picture! This truly is a one pan wonder. It was flavourful and really yummy, you can't help but get seconds! Looking forward to more varieties to come out in the market. Must buy!

This was awesome, easy to make and yummy. I had never made a rissole before, but i found the instructions easy to follow and the meal was very easy to put together. Everyone loved it, and it was one of the better packet mix flavor bases i have tried over time.

I had never actually cooked risotto or leek before! This was amazing and so easy to make. Having little kids it's handy just being able to throw everything into the one pan and have a quick, easy meal that still tastes delicious

I substituted nearly everything in the recipe! My husband doesn't like mushroom, and I didn't have any leek or cream - so this risotto became chicken and avocado risotto with Philadelphia lite cream! And I must say it turned out BRILLIANT. I added the avocado at the end like you'd normally do with the spinach, and the only thing I found while cooking it was I needed to add a bit of extra water (may have had it cooking at too high a temperature) but it still turned out perfectly.

Very easy to use, and created quite a yummy risotto that was a hit at home ... but when I checked the nutrition guide, one serving has a third of your daily sodium requirements! But at least there's no MSG!

So quick and easy! I love risotto but its so painstakingly slow that I am put off of making it. But with this pack it I can cook it during the week night. We did find that the cooking time on the packet to the real cooking time was a little out but not a huge problem at all. All up it was just really really good

This product made risotto much easier. It's still a bit of work but for a risotto it was quick and easy. Everyone loved it and came back for more. We would definitely buy it next time. The leek flavour might be a but much fir young children or people who don't like leek. But my kids ate the mushrooms and didn't even notice that's what they were eating. Win!

I made a few changes to this recipe, using quinoa instead of rice and corn flour to thicken rather than cream. It was delicious!! I managed to make dinner while bathing my 3 kids - that's how easy it was! Just threw everything in the pot and let it simmer. My only concern, as a family that tries to eat clean, was that the second ingredient is sugar. Not super keen on something with sugar right up there on the ingredient list, but great for a quick fix if I'm in a hurry.

Adults likes the flavour more than the kids... Good option for easy to prepare meal
