I love this stroller!
by Yasmina ElkadiCombined rating
Review 3 of 3 I have used this stroller everyday since I had the chance to review it. I don't think I can praise this stroller anymore than I already have. We went away for a couple days and took the stroller with us and it went off road on gravel and then on grass and back to the footpath with ease all whilst manoeuvring through crowds at a carnival. Everyone who sees this stroller is automatically drawn in by its design and love the blue colour I chose. I love it and will continue to use it as long as my toddler likes to sit in it.
Larktale chit chat stroller is amazing!!

Review 2 of 3 I seriously just can't fault this stroller. We went out shopping and hubby was hogging the stroller, he loves it more than I do. This stroller is great, especially during busy days when there's alot of people everywhere at the shopping centres, so easy to manouver around people or ant obstacles. My hubby claims it to be 'his stroller' that's how much he likes to use it. Bub also loves sitting in it and doesn't get agitated like he used to in my other pram. I can't fault this stroller in any way and I will keep using it for as long as I can.

Today we took our chit chat to a birthday party at a very busy play-centre. We received compliments from other parents on our funky new stroller which is something that has happened often and I have given the Larktale web site details to quite a few people who have shown interest. I can honestly say that the chit chat is the best stroller I have ever used and my favourite feature by far is the design of the frame. It feels so strong and yet it is light enough to handle easily. The way it unfolds in one fluid motion is fantastic and when folded down it becomes very compact and easily fits in the boot of a car. The steering is a dream and it's also narrow enough to get into crowded areas and fit on public transport without any dramas. The soft grip handlebar is easy to wipe clean and the footrest is a solid part of the main frame. The basket underneath can be accessed from the front as well as the back and the net on the back of the stroller is handy for things you use frequently. The 5 point harness is very secure but still comfortable and like the seat cover it can be removed for cleaning which is an important feature when you're dealing with messy toddlers! It is a stroller designed for children aged 6 months and over. There is even a handy toy hook in the canopy, they've thought of everything! I am more than happy to recommend the Larktale Chit Chat stroller because as well as having loads of really useful features it also happens to be very stylish. It's intelligent design is both innovative and insightful and it is a product that is clearly designed to last in an age where so many products cater to a 'throw-away' society.
The all important dad test
by mom1501Combined rating
Today we conducted the dad test! It was great to get the opinion of another person who will be using the Lark Tale Chit Chat often. He reported that it was easy to steer, and felt sturdy enough. He liked the fact he could quickly get in and out of places with the stroller. Dad is over 6 ft, and didn’t feel that he had to slouch down to drive the stroller which was a big plus. The best part of this trial was that it prompted him to make holiday suggestions as it is obvious that the stroller is lightweight and compact enough to take to any destination, via any means (plane, car, even boat). Yaaaay!
Quick and easy when you're running late!

It was such a relief to have my new Larktale Chit Chat stroller to use when I got back from my walk only to realise that I was supposed to already be at the doctors (5 minutes down the road). After putting the kids into the car I was able to quickly fold the stroller down and put on the floor in the front- I didn't even have to worry about stowing it in the boot. I certainly could never have managed this with my old pram and in fact, used to have to allow an extra 5 minutes in travel time just so I would have enough time to get the pram out of the boot and put it up. When I arrived at the doctor's unfolding the stroller was just as quick and simple and I was able to put my little one into it and clip him up with such ease, and so light and fast to push into the doctor's too. The Larktale Chit Chat is also great because it keeps an infant/child in a nice position from which they can observe the world which came in handy in reassuring my little guy while I was up on the bed in the doctor's- he could see me easily and knew I wasn't far away. When i was finished in the doctor's it was easy to apply the brake while putting my eldest child into the car- normally it always seemed like too much effort for the short time that it would take so I used to avoid it and try to 'park' my pram in such a way that it wouldn't roll, which I guess isn't the safest. With the Chit Chat there is no excuse to be lazy like that because the brake can be applied or released with a simple rocking motion that can all be controlled by the foot - even bare foot (as I discovered yesterday at the indoor play centre. When I arrived at the indoor play centre yesterday, I was able to carry the stroller under one arm, my nappy bag over my shoulder and my little one in my other arm, and still manage to walk inside fairly easily. This saved a little bit of mucking around so that my eldest child could have a little longer to play, instead of having to wait for mummy to sort herself out. I also found that the Chit Chat was great to be used for a high chair as well - it keep bubs in a nice position for feeding and meant that the food didn't end up all over me and we were mess free for a change! In closing, the Chit Chat is perfect for busy mums/dads because it is so easy to set up and put down, fits anywhere in the car (which is perfect when you need the boot free for groceries, etc), has an easy to apply brake for when you are out and about, is so small it can be stowed anyway in the house (we are keeping ours in a nook behind our bedroom door, it has a handy cup holder allowing me to carry my water bottle and still have both hands free to have full control of the stroller, and it is light enough to be easily carried under arm when needed or lifted upstairs (with a child secured inside), when there is no ramp access (my husband managed to do this on his own without my assistance which was impossible with our old pram. I love this stroller and it is quickly becoming indispensable in our lives.
So easy to use anyone can use it
by KelliCombined rating
So we had a family outing to the park on Sunday and of course we had to take the Chit Chat with us especially wanted to try it on the grass and just as expected was flawless! Even the kids wanted a go and that was a huge surprise because they struggle so much with the pram and they all loved it so we decided to make a video to show that anyone can use the Chit Chat! I don't think I could love this stroller any more but I can't express how easy it is and how light it is I just wish the Chit Chat was around 13 years ago when I had my first would of made life so much easier!
Larktale chit chat stroller reviews - week 2 of 3
by maree9556Combined rating
So today we took our chit chat stroller on a city trip and went to Queen Vic Markets. As always it was very busy but I found it quite easy to navigate the crowds thanks to the stroller's narrow frame and excellent maneuverability. I can comfortably steer one-handed when needed. I even took it up and down some stairs and as it is a relatively light frame I didn't experience any difficulties. The stroller only takes up one seat space in trains and buses and at cafes which is very handy. I really like the way the foot rest is a part of the main frame as opposed to a plastic strap as I found with all of my previous prams and strollers that my son would stand on it to get in and out and they always ended up snapping. Although the chit chat only has a partial recline my 6MO daughter fell asleep in it a few times today and quite happily napped whilst we were walking around so she was obviously comfortable. I was quite relieved when this happened as it was something I was worried about due to the fact that she is used to a fully reclining seat. The handle feels soft and quite comfortable to grip. I'm glad it isn't wrapped in foam like a lot of other strollers because in summer the foam handles can get grimy and sweaty and frankly a bit gross! The only thing I find slightly annoying is the cup holder. I have knocked it a few times and it tends to swing quite freely but as I never use it with open bottles or cups this is not a big issue for me. Overall I am really pleased with the chit chat and would happily recommend it to other people!
Best light weight pram!
by Yasmina ElkadiCombined rating
I received the larktale chit chat pram last week. My first impression of the pram was great! So compact when folded and very lightweight. I couldn't believe how such a small pram could be so great. I have tested it out only a couple times to the park and out shopping. Easy to manouver around especially with one hand. I cannot recommend it anymore. This is my first review out of 3. Will definitely post with more photos.
Best pram
by Shelley O'ConnorCombined rating
So happy with the Larktale Chit Chat stroller. We received it last week and I spoke about how impressed I was with all the features including the cup holder, amazing turning circle, and ease in opening and putting it back down as well as how light and compact it is. One extra thing I forgot to mention was that the straps on the bottom of the seat where you clip it up is not like other standard pram straps as it is wider and won't irritate or slip off to the side where my baby's nappy sits, unlike other prams I have used. I can imagine it is alot more comfier for my little boy. Absolutely love this pram. So very stylish and light and compact that it can even be placed in the trolley if I go shopping or if bub decides he now wants to sit in the trolley seat instead of in the pram while still having room for our weekly shopping. other prams would make shopping and pushing a trolley nearly impossible
Fantastic, light and extremely easy to use
by KelliCombined rating
Only received the Larktale Chit Chat stroller on Thursday and had to take it out for a spin, literally we took it straight out of the box and put her straight in it! I loved it from get go, how simple it was to cut a few zip ties and it was ready to go. I have a little girl but loved the Freshwater blue so much I had to see it in person its so vibrant and bright and definitely stands out in a crowd! The steering is a dream I can't believe how light and easy it is pushing and turning. Miss Tayla absolutely loved it and I didn't hear a peep from her the whole time she was in there. I really love how easy it is to fold down and open and how quick I get it in and out of the car but the space in the boot is amazing I can't believe it hardly takes up any room. The main reason I wanted to review this stroller and try it out was actually my husband, he always complains about our pram when he has to take it to pick the kids up and really didn't think everything he read about the Chit Chat he thought it was to good to be true. He actually enjoyed taking her out in it he said his favourite thing was how light it was and the brake, we both love this feature it's fantastic we've never seen anything like it before and we have 3 other children! Unfortunately it has been the worst weather all weekend and couldn't take bub out to take it for another spin but it didn't stop the kids giving her a push around the house and they found it so easy! So of course we had to take a few photos which will be going on instagram today, as soon as the weather clears up here will be able to review it even more so hopefully by the end of the week we will have another review to post but from what I have seen it can only get better!
So light, yet robust! Loving the Larktale chit chat
by AshleyGCombined rating
Loving this stroller! It is incredibly light making transfer to and from the car/house easy, especially for people like me with a bad back. It\'s a breeze to push due to its light weight and manoeuvrability, it swivels and spins with great ease. It can sit up straight which my 10month old loves, she is able to have a good view of everything during our walks. She has not yet fought once to get into it and that is saying something!
Very sturdy but light, steering is a breeze, beautiful colours, handy pockets

Love this Larktale Stroller, I took it out for a stroll at the shops today and have already had compliments from 3 mummy's, they loved the colour as well. It steers so easily I feel like it glides, baby loves the seat she actually didn't complain like she does in our old pram. Folding down is seriously a breeze and it actually fits in our boot with plenty of room for groceries, I highly recommend this stoller. Even hubby loved it :-) it's a high tick in my books :-)
Larktale chit chat stroller reviews - week 1 of 3
by maree9556Combined rating
I received my stroller on Tuesday 31st May. The first feature to impress me was the ease with which this stroller unfolds! You slide the white trigger and pull the handlebar up and the whole frame just clicks into place in one fluid motion. Considering most of the prams and strollers I have used in the past were so awkward to fold it was like wrestling with a broken accordion this is a very welcome change! When you fold it back down it is both compact and light enough to lift and carry or store in a car boot without any problems. It also comes with a handy shoulder strap. I love the design of this stroller! They have managed to make a frame, (SpaceFrame), that is narrow without compromising either strength or balance. I often use public transport and being able to easily lift this stroller on to a bus or a train without taking up a lot of room is important to me. Style-wise I have already received compliments from friends on the funky pattern, (I chose Longreef Navy), and it's nice to have a range of colours to choose from which gives the chit chat more of a personalized feel. The suspension on the chit chat is quite good, allowing for a smooth ride even when you have items stored in the basket underneath. This is a stroller that is recommended for children aged 6 months and upwards and is not intended to be used like a fully featured pram so it does not have a full recline or a blackout canopy but it does have a sun-safe canopy with a rather useful pop out sun-visor and a partial recline for comfort. This is the first of three reviews I shall do in the coming weeks and I intend to put the chit chat stroller through its paces and will add more photos.
Light weight, stylish, really manoeuvrable
by Shelley O'ConnorCombined rating
Just received my Larktale Chit Chat stroller this afternoon and am very impressed! Very lightweight, easy to open and to put back down, super easy to push around with little effort. First thing I noticed was the awesome turning circle and that it has a cup holder which is out of the way but still close enough for you to put your morning coffee. Bub sits very comfortable and seems to love it as much as I do. I can see me being able to dodge crowds in shopping centres and be able to get through masses of people easily with this amazing pram, and still having the room In the boot to put my shopping in unlike my old pram. Great storage underneath and very stylish and modern. 10/10 we love it
Outings will now be enjoyable!

WOW! The larktale chit chat stroller is amazing! It was wonderful to pull it out of the box and have it set up and ready to go! No need to muck around trying to piece it all together. My just 6 month old daughter fits in it perfectly, as does her 3 yr old brother (who of course wanted the first go). It is amazingly manoeuvrable - one finger on the handle can turn it around. We took it for a walk across grass, roads and footpaths and it remained smooth and easy to push. It was light enough to lift up over the gutters and I am not a very strong person. The handle is so comfortable under hand and is robust so won't wear out. I love that the brake is one that you just push down to put on and release. I have broken shoes on other types before and resorted to using my hands (which really defeats the purpose). The sunshade provided adequate coverage for my daughter which was great for the Qld sun!
Arrived today

Received today received just an hour ago and I excitedly unpacked the light box to have a play. I read the instructions and found how easy it was to fold up. Have placed Bub inside and have done a few laps of the house so it worked well on carpet and tiles. Bub looked comfortable sitting and very secure with the straps. I cannot wait to take it out for a proper test run.
Sleeping Beauty!
by mom145696Combined rating
We have now been using the Larktale chit chat stroller for 3 weeks and I am still in love with it! My only concern was that I had not previously used a stroller for a bub under a year and so had no idea if my 6 month old would sleep in a stroller that did not have a full recline. Well I needn't have worried! The Larktale chit chat is obviously as comfortable as it is stylish and Little Miss 6 months old has had no worries sleeping in it! The lovely padded straps keep her upright and don't dig into her at all. The pram is so smooth that there are no bumps and rattles to wake her up. As it is so light, it is easy to manoeuvre up and over gutters and other obstacles smoothly without waking bub! Thank you Larktale for finally designing a pram that is stylish, comfortable, robust, light, compact and easy to use! This stroller really does tick all of the boxes!
All in all great stroller!
by mom1501Combined rating
All in all I’ve loved this stroller! It ticks so many boxes and has many features that are shown in the video including being sturdy yet lightweight and compact, easy to click into place and dismantle, and glides easily especially around corners, over various surfaces and with either hand. You can also see how easy it is to adjust the stroller from the recline position to the upright position. I would definitely recommend this stroller for anyone that is looking for something for day to day errands, the day care run, and most importantly travel. My baby didn’t sleep in the stroller which could be a disadvantage, but he loved being able to look out and see the world go by! I liked the coffee cup holder as I find it useful for coffee, water, phone, earphones etc, and love that it is included, and easily removed. I’ve had at least three people ask me about it, and any concerns they’ve had (whether it reclines, is it compact enough, is it sturdy) are quickly alleviated. Thank you for the opportunity to review the LarkTale Chit Chat!

Another successful week with this beautiful stroller! It now has a permanent home in our boot AND it can stay there even with a full load of groceries? Just push it to the side and you're good to go. It's amazing how compact it is. No complaints from our toddler when I put her in it, she loves it! And so it seems do others. We get lots of compliments on it.
Plenty of room for the shopping!
by mom145696Combined rating
The Larktale Chit Chat is amazingly compact! With my old stroller, I would be forced to place shopping bags in the car in between the 2 baby seats and on the front passenger seat. It was like a real life game of Tetris (and not a fun game either)! But with the Larktale I can easily fit it all into the back of my Toyota Corolla Hatchback. The stroller was a joy to use whilst out shopping. I was able to easily manoeuvre it through the aisles whilst still holding onto my 3 yr old. The agility and smooth handling of it makes it a breeze! And the basket underneath was big enough to fit my shopping. Great work Larktale. I find more and more to love about my stroller every day!

Tried and tested
by mom186025Combined rating
Now that I have had the stroller for a few weeks I have been able to test it in all sorts of terrain. I live on the south coast of NSW and we don't have curb and guttering in my suburb, it is very hilly and the roads are pretty rough. I have tried the pram on grass, concrete, carpet, tiles and bitumen. As they advertise the stroller is designed for use on flat or gently sloping surfaces however the stroller has done alright around my neighbourhood. Yes it is not designed for pot holes, uneven grass which you are forced to walk on when a car comes screaming past or gravel but for a stroller that is not designed for this it has performed very well. It was a little hard to push up steep hills (again not designed for this) and the wheels did get noisier the further I pushed it (I got gravel stuck in the wheels), but I never felt that my boy was unsafe and I was still able to get it home in one piece without any dramas. Using the pram for what it is designed for is brilliant. This has reduced the room my pram takes in the boot of my car so now I can fit more in and most importantly do more shopping!!!! An example today I went to the shopping centre, we went in bought a few items then went back to the car and I loaded in the items, had plenty of room to put the pram back in however I left Bub in it for a bottle in the sun. We then went back into the shopping centre and bought some groceries and then back to the car, filling up the boot still had room for the pram. We then went to two shops that were not at the shopping centre so again in and out of the car and the pram was so light I could have done this all day and I kept on filling up my boot and still had room, I also have a back seat if I get desperate for room for shopping however I have a cover in the back so I prefer everything to go in the boot. In summary I think this is a great lightweight Stroller and I will definitely recommend this to my friends and I will be using it till Bub grows out of it. Thank you for letting me test your product Bub and I have had fun and will continue to enjoy.
Strolling with Style has never been so Easy!
by Melinda BolithoCombined rating
When this little beauty arrived I was stunned initially at the size of the box. How could a stroller fit into such a small box? Upon bracing to pick it up I just about threw it in the air! This little beauty is lighweight & compact but packs a huge punch in the "tot transporter" industry! Our maiden voyage was repeatedly thwarted with bad weather. Mounting frustration at the inability to take it for a test drive lead us to our local shopping centre. Not really the best way to "put it through it paces".... or so I thought! The Larktale chit chat fits through every tight space, every nook and cranny and even lines up perfectly to a cafe table - no highchair required! No more struggling to squeeze past people in aisles - you can sneak by without anyone even noticing. The chit chat's 2nd outing was with my Husband while I was at work. He took a walk to our local hardware shop (of course). He was impressed! He was able to push the stroller with our 2 year old in it, while pulling our 4 year old behind him on her wagon. Fast forward to today, our 3rd outing. We finally go to the park to test it out on different terrains. We did hills, rocky paths, leafy autumn fields & playgrounds. Tick, tick tick! The large rear wheels and front wheel suspension means this little beauty corners like it's on rails. Criticism wise, when folded the plastic frame does tend to get scratched at the front near the foot rest. Mainly an aesthetic thing but definitely worth looking at some rubber bumpers for future models? Also, the coffee holder didn't seem to want to stay hooked on, and definitely not when folded as the advertising says. The harness takes some time to figure out and master but once you've worked it out it gets easier. In conclusion, this stroller has all the makings of a futuristic version of the simple one your grandparents probably used. The bells and whistles have been trimmed down, keeping only the practical & the stylish. Multiple folding mechanisms have been reduced to a simple trigger release and you'll never be stuck cursing a stroller for 10 minutes in a car park again. Your hands will thank you due to the soft touch handle and you're more than likely to go back to wearing open toe shoes in summer due to the ingenious break pedal that doesn't require any awkward "toe flicking". Larktale, you've set the bar high!
Don't settle for second best when you can have the best

Hi everyone. Thank you for reading my review. I've had my gorgeous Larktale chit chat stroller for just under a week and use it every day because We love it ????. Today I wanted to touch on a couple of topics that are important to me and handy to know if you are in the market to purchase a new stroller. When you fold it, it automatically locks the wheels so it doesn't roll about in the boot of your car which is really handy ????. The chit chat handles really well and is well balanced. The seating position is perfect where baby sits, so it doesn't make the stroller front or back heavy even though it is so light. Lots of thought has gone into this clever design! I couldn't wait to do the opening of a gas strut door test because it's always a challenge for me. I tested it with my baby in the stroller and on my hip and in both instances I was able to effortlessly manoeuvre the stroller inside whilst opening the door ... Easy peasy ????. I really like the 5 point safety buckle. It's so secure and gives me that extra peace of mind that baby's going nowhere. I also love the idea that you don't need to feed baby's arms through the straps. You simply put it over either side of baby's shoulders and the other 2 travels along side baby's waist to clip into the buckle. Sometimes miss 9 months misbehaves and arches her back which makes strapping her In difficult (if in upright position) as you have 4 straps in total to secure but that's easily fixed by reclining the seat back ????. Again everything has been well thought through and nothing is left to chance. That's the Larktale Difference! Stay tuned for more ????
Light, stylish and compact...and my husband LOVES it!!

Wow what a nifty little pram! First plus no assembly required just take it out of the box and unwrap and you’re ready to go. We took it for a spin around the shops on Friday and I love how easy it is to get in and out of the car and I couldn't believe how light but sturdy it is. Ruby took to it straight away she loved being able to see everything around her. I love the great range of colours available, made it very hard to choose which one I wanted. Today I let my husband take it for a test drive and he thinks it's great. Our other pram is a well-known brand and has to be broken down into two pieces to put away and is very bulky and heavy, whereas the chit chat folds down with ease and fits nice and tidily in the boot. Stay tuned for more reviews!
Maiden voyage for the Chit Chat
by SamGrayCombined rating
Max and I took the Larktale Chit Chat on its maiden voyage today around our local shopping centres. The Chit Chat was a hit with both mum and bubs. Its light, compact design made it a breeze to get in and out of the car and left more room for the groceries! It took a little for Max to get used to the more upright design of the seat but once we got moving he loved being able to see everything with out having to pull himself forward to look around his usually bulky pram sides. It was great to slide in between cars in the car park to get into the centres, without having to worry about whether we would fit. Love the pocket on the back of the seat - it kept Max's snack on hand and my wallet and bits and pieces - just would have liked it to be a non mesh material so my wallet, phone and keys weren't on display. Other than that it was a breeze to push around and maneuver in aisles. We are looking forward to our next adventure - our usual walk around our local lake.
Last day of June and our Last review.

Today is the last day of June and our very last review for the Larktale Chit Chat Stroller! I would definitely recommend purchasing a Larktale Chit Chat stroller! It had been such a joy and a blessing and has become part of our family. My daughter loves it, my husband loves it and I love it so it is a win, win all round. It's easy to move and recline and decline, it can fit into a small car boot and can be carried easily so whether you are looking for a travel stroller, a stroller for the grandparents or an everyday stroller look no further with all of its sleek and bold designs there is sure to be one that will suit your style! Be prepared to be impressed!
Still loving the Larktale.

I've taken the Larktale out a few more times since my initial review. I still love it! But have a couple of minor improvements that could be made. The release lever/button on my pram is a bit stiff, so it took me a little while to figure out that I needed to pull it further (I was being soft and didn't want to break it). The basket size and access is limited.
My daughter loves it!

We took our daughter to the hospital to get her cast changed. She sat in her stroller like a 'big girl' the whole time and held my hand. It helped keep her calm and keep her still and in one place which was a life saver for me especially because me husband couldn't be there to help me. I don't know where I would be without this stroller.
Great for on the go

We went display home viewing over the weekend and took our Larketale Chit Chat stroller. It was very simple to move in and out of the homes and where there were steps we simply lifted our little girl out and declined the pram and used the strap it came with to carry it like a 'man bag' as my husband called it up the stairs. It's so simple and easy to use and so light weight!

We've taken the Chit Chat with us everywhere these past few weeks. The maneuverability is excellent with a fantastic turning circle making shopping in even the tightest stores a breeze! The stroller works very well on well paved flat surfaces. I have also used it walking down to the local shops on quite uneven footpaths. While it holds up well, I have experienced issues getting back up onto the footpath via driveways and curb ramps that are raised slightly higher than normal -- so that's something to look out for when negotiating streets. Medium length grass doesn't seem to be an issue though. I managed to push bub through the grassy area of a school playground without too much resistance or hiccups.
Grandparents took the stroller out for a spin
by mom184798Combined rating
My parents came over and took Portia out in her Larktale Chitchat stroller. Here is their review; An appealing, light weight, easy to use stroller with plenty of style. Our granddaughter was very happy for the whole journey and even fell asleep on the way back. I like how we were able to lay her her a little with ease. The only problem now is that we want one for our ventures with Portia and our other grandchildren for our home and will be looking into investing in one.
A mini in a field of tractors
by mom1501Combined rating
Today we took the Lark Tale Chit Chat to kindy gym! We were running late as usual but gained minutes back by being able to quickly flick open the stroller, pop baby in and get on our way. It really is super easy to get in and out of the boot. Once inside, it was very easy to navigate a pram parking space – it is like driving a zippy little car in a field of tractors. We then headed to a busy coffee shop afterwards. I love the fact that the stroller can be brought right up to the table as shown in the picture. The little man loved being part of it, and for once we weren’t taking up lots of room! I found the pram quite good over uneven surfaces, and good for getting between cars in car spots which is virtually impossible with our usual pram.
Our big day out in the city with Larktale
by SarahCombined rating
This video sums up how easy it is to manoeuvre around the city using the new Larktale Chit Chat stroller. It is perfect for a day out with the family as it is easy to get in and out of the car, has great storage and is a comfortable resting place when it all gets to be too much for the little ones. It is as light as a folding camping chair and you can easily carry it under one arm, which is great when you have a number of things to pack into the car.
Out and about on a Sunday afternoon

Victorian weather hasn't been the best lately with rain and cold winds. We took out stroller out for a bite to eat yesterday once again receiving plenty of comments on looks. It is easy to move around in resturants where out old pram would have been too big. Our daughter really enjoys sitting up like a big girl and being able to see anything. One again however the down fall has been rain. Without having a rain cover we have had to place a blanket over the opening. We will definitely need to purchase a rain cover for the winter.
Easiest & most practical stroller I've ever used.
by nikkileeCombined rating
The Larktale chit chat stroller is full of surprises! My excitement of the delivery tripled when I opened the box & realised it was ready to unfold & push straight away, no wheel assembly required like other prams I've owned. The quick unfold instruction sheet was very easy to understand so we were ready to go within a few minutes of opening the box. Miss 2.5 was just as excited as me & insisted on jumping in straight away (even though it's intended for Mr 9 months to use!). We only took a quick walk around the house & considering how lightweight it is, I was amazed at the manoeuvrability, even with a 15kg toddler strapped in tight! A trip to Kmart with Mr 9months was a breeze with the super quick set up & fold up. I loved not having to wait for people the pass in some aisles, the compact design is roomy enough for bub but still nice & slim. The basket underneath isn't as large as some other brands on the market, but there is still ample space for all things needed when out & about with baby. One thing I did wish it had was a removable seat liner for quick & easy washing. My absolute favourite feature is the easy peasy brake! No more scratched shoes or sprained toes!! I'm looking forward to taking it for a spin on our local walking track! Stay tuned!
Just testing for our nightly dog walk

We decided to take the stroller out while we took our dog for a walk. Our daughter was happy to sit in the stroller, we had the recliner zipped up. I was really impress how it travelled over grass, it was quite smooth, and didnt make our daughter bounce around! Our daughter did not move in the pram at all. We found it held her in place, in comfort and there were no cries of discomfort. Now lets see how we go shopping and the busy weekend we have! (Have to say the colours are very stylish!)
Last and finally review

We took our Larktale chit chat stroller out for a lovely stroll today before the rain hit in and the stormy weather started. It was a lovely experience. The more I use this stroller the more I enjoy it! It has been such an ease to use and gets compliements where ever we take it. I am so glad I chose the red one as it seems to suit my little girls personality. She loves her stroller and I'm sure you kids and yourselves will love this stroller as much as we have. I would however recommend also buying the rain cover for additional protection.
Final pic - mum, Bub and stroller

Have loved reviewing the Lark Tale Chit Chat stroller and think it's a great choice! I was luckily to have my mum over to take the stroller for a spin - after three kids and three grandkids she's see many strollers and commented on how light and compact this one was compared to other brands. We had a walk to the park and the stroller didn't disappoint - good around corners and slightly muddy terrain given recent wet weather. Another thumbs up from Grandma!
3 week review
by GreenyCombined rating
We have been using the Chit Chat stroller now for 3 weeks, and I must say it's really grown to be a much loved item in our family. At first l thought my baby was a bit too small for the Chit Chat, being just on 6 month and a small baby but the last few weeks she has grown to fit perfectly in the seat. The stroller is intended for children from 6 months to 3 years, with the maximum weight of 17.5kg. The stroller has replaced my very heavy and not so practical pram. My next child l plan to use a baby carrier for the first 6 months and then move to our Larktale Chit Chat. The Chit Chat is very reasonably price, it's much cheaper then the bulky prams that are very often regretted after being put through the paces. I have grown to love the Chit Chat, it has everything that matters in a stroller. I wanted to put the stroller through its paces, we have used the stroller around the house and around town. The Chit Chat is easy to manoeuvre so getting jobs around the house with my baby safely in her stroller has became much more manageable. For example; I've managed to use the stroller while getting a basket of washing to the clothes line, filling my dogs water and picking fruit from our trees. it's much easier then using a carrier, which can be awkward when having to bend down. The Chit Chat Stroller is light making it easy to lift the stroller to get up and down on steps. One test l wanted to check is the ease of removing the seat in preparation for messy situations. The removal of the seat was easy, l was happy how quick l got the seat removed from the frame and back on again. The beautifully design stroller is not complex and the top quality material is luxury. The Chit Chat is a deluxe stroller that is made with parents and children in mind. I recommend the Larktale Chit Chat stroller to all parents.
This is the perfect stroller

I've had the great pleasure of reviewing the Larktale chit chat stroller for the past 3 weeks and it honestly feels like I've had it for a lifetime. I use it everyday and wonder how I managed before. It's ultra light, compact, it has wonderful manoeuvrability, strong, durable, stylish, quality, comfortable and the list goes on. I can't rate it high enough! I've taken my chit chat everywhere from bumpy backyard parties, on a confined bus to the not so smooth sidewalks. Every challenge I throw at it, it passes with flying colours. My chit chat has given me a new lease on life. I now want to take my daughter out for her daily walk because I need it as much as she does. I love my chit chat and I know you will too. Hop on to Instagram #momlarktalechitchat to view pictures of my adventures and start making your own with Larktale.
I can't live without my chit chat
by GreenyCombined rating
I have had the Larktale Chit chat stroller for some time now and l must say it has grown to be a very loved product. It's handy around the house and perfect to take out. The stroller is small so will fit through anything/anywhere an adult would. I love that l no longer need to struggle with a over large pram. My 6 month old has grown to love the chit chat, she can view the world from a seated position while l get my jobs done. I have recommended the chit chat to my friends and directed to the website. The chit chat stroller is the perfect fit for my family.
Tried on a dirt track.
by mom184798Combined rating
We took our daughter on a lovely family outting to explore nature with this pram. The paths were mainly paved but also part dirt here and there to a picnic table and back. It preformed well especially in the path going up a hill. I am really enjoying this pram and am really satisfied with how it is performing.
Fantastic for zipping in and out!

It was a wet one in Melbourne today! Yet i was not afraid of the wet as i remembered the Larktale Chit Chat stroller has a FANTASTIC cover ! IT was great to pull out the stroller for a quick duck down to the supermarket to top up the cupboards... we were not ducking and weaving to avoid the rain, i was confident that it kept our daughter dry! She was extremely happy and chatty while we were out! Not a droplet landed on her!
Off the beaten track...
by nikkileeCombined rating
Today we finally made it onto our favourite walking track. It's mostly a hard dirt track, but in places there is some gravel & loose dirt. The Larktale chit chat stroller handled most of the track like a dream, as expected, but it did need a bit of extra coaxing through the gravelly sections. It's quite clearly not meant to be the type of stroller that goes off-road, but in saying that, it still does an ok job! Mr 9 months was happily singing & pram dancing all around the track. The visor/hood seems to be the perfect length for him, keeping the sun off his face while still being high enough to not block his view. We love our Larktale chit chat!!
Stroll at the beach.
by mom184798Combined rating
We took a drive to Phillip Island over the long weekend to the beach for a nice relaxing walk. We continued to get comments on the appealing look of the stylish stroller. We used the bottom storage hub for all her nappies and bottles which was plenty of space! This made our day out such a breeze where as before our daughter would have demanded to be carried she stayed in her stroller proudly the whole time. Thank you LarkTale!

A girlfriend of mine babysat for us yesterday and took the larktale for a spin. She said it felt great and she was able to run with it too. They really put it through its paces on a 2 hour walk/ run through the mud and all. Her only 2 criticisms were that her husband kept kicking the break and that mud got stuck under the front wheels. As people without kids or experience with strollers they said they'd look at this model if they had kids which is a great compliment
Chit Chat is a winner with Dads
by GreenyCombined rating
My husband loves the Larktale Chit Chat Stroller. He refers to our first pram as a truck that is the most painfully big, heavy and awkward pram he has ever seen. We we first got the Chit chat stroller he love how light it was. After using the stroller he doesn't want to go back to our first pram. My hubby thinks our 6 month old likes it more than the pram too. I asked my hubby if he would pay the price off the stroller, he had said he would, since it's has good useful value. Larktale Chit Chat stroller is a winner for Dads (and mums and Bubs).
It's a winner at playgroup
by GreenyCombined rating
We took our Larktale Chit Chat Stroller to playgroup today, and it was a hit. I had mums asking me about the chit chat, as they had not seen it before. They loved the big wheels, how sturdy it looked and even commented on the basket being a good size for a stroller. The mums were very impressed with it being so light and how small it folds up. It's now on many mums must have list. I had comments such as when looking for a stroller like the chit chat all they found were the flimsy cheap throw aways or they have been too expensive or they are still too big for what they wanted. At snack time the stroller zipped up to a more sitting up so l could clip my 6month in and give her food, this was very handy and keeping that in mind when going out for lunch (some places there is either no high chairs left or they are so dirty). My baby is loving sitting up in the stroller now and looking around. It was a very windy day and the chit chat was great. There was no fear of a possible fly away stroller. Very little effort in pushing it the 500metre distance each way. Each time l use the Chit Chat stroller l am loving it more, my child is loving it more. The Chit Chat is becoming a valuable asset in our home.
Strong and stable compact stroller
by KuksCombined rating
We opened the Larktale Chit Chat and the older kids couldn't wait to test it out. Upon taking it out my husband noticed the nice grip on the handlebar. It is tactile and feels good. I'm very impressed with the size it folds down to without compromising build and stability. I have used it with my six month old and 2.5 year old and never have I been afraid of the stroller tipping over or to one side. The stroller even stands upright with my nappy bag hung on the back!
Early morning walk
by mom184798Combined rating
The sun was shining this morning so we got ready and went for a quick early morning walk before it started getting cold and rainy. I am very please with this stroller still and still find myself getting comments on its appearance and how small and compact it is. I can easily lift it in and out of the car (which is where I keep it for when we go out) and easily lift it over our door step. This stroller makes going to a walk a breeze whether it is long or short distance. I also tested the brakes this morning standing at the top of a hill. They worked great! No moving or jolting, they can be easily applied and lifted with little force on the break petal. Still rating this stroller five out of five.
Loving this stroller
by dannii2284Combined rating
The Larktale Chit Chat Stroller is awesome! Took it to a local market yesterday and it was so smooth (considering the uneven ground) and very easy to manoeuvre through the crowds. I was surprised at how light felt. My daughter loved it too, so it must be comfortable! The only downfall is the size of the storage basket (but it's probably bigger than many other strollers, so it's not too bad). Looking forward to taking it out again soon.
Shopping Centre Test Drive Review
by mom184798Combined rating
We took our Larktale Chit Chat stroller out for a shopping centre test drive. My daughter was sleepy after a walk during the morning and being Friday night late night shopping it was very busy so a stroller that is light, easy to use and easy to move is important. We were complimented plenty of times on the look of our stroller and asked where we purchased it. I proudly said that I was one of the mums lucky enough to be reviewing the stroller and told them the brand and name of the stroller. So the stroller already has a lot of fans purely based on looks itself. I personally love the way our stroller looks as well. It's sleek and compact whilst also being modern and bold. I also like the fact that no matter what colour your buy out of their range it can be suitable for either gender for your child so it is purely a matter of what colour your child and you choose. The only problem that we ran across is that it was raining last night and the stroller doesn't have adequate cover for those conditions. We had to place a blanket over the front so she wouldn't get wet. However you can fix this problem with a rain cover sold at an extra cost as an option. This is something we may look at purchasing in the future for ourselves. All in all I am very happy with the stroller and this time it was my husband strolling it around. He loves the stroller! Finally a stroller or pram that he approves of.
I need another one for Miss 4 ????

So today I took Sienna out in her brand new Barossa Red Chit Chat Stroller to the park, coffee shop and grocery store. The Chit Chat stroller is fabulous on flat surfaces and it handles sloping surfaces like a dream. This stroller is not designed for running, jogging etc, so it's just perfect for my lifestyle ????. Sienna enjoyed being upright but I could easily adjust the seat rest position to recline using the zippers on either side so she could have a snooze... Genius! I love the fact that the canopy (sun visor) comes down quite far because it blocked out the wind which was rather strong today. There are accessories you can purchase in addition like the rain cover (it would really have come in handy because it was drizzling on our way home), Insect shield, transport bag and footmuff. I then proceeded to the coffee shop which I knew was going to be tricky having to manoeuvre around the tables and chairs but the Larktale chit chat stroller did it was grace and ease! It is so compact that I wasn't in anyone's way like normal strollers where your having to move tables and chairs just to accommodate its size. What a pleasure and it will make my coffee catch up sessions a breeze ????. I then went to the shops and got a couple of bits and bobs which I was able to stow away easily in the storage basket under the seat. I kept my purse, keys and phone in the handy storage pocket behind the seat for easy access (again Larktale have thought of everything). There was only one problem the entire time we were out... Miss 4 (Holly) wanted to have a ride in it too. She didn't want to ride her bicycle or scooter because that's so yesterday, lol. Unfortunately with the weight requirements of 19.5kg total (15kg max seat unit, 1kg max seat back pocket and 3kg max in basket) as listed in the manual, I didn't deam it to be safe so she wasn't able to do so. Maybe there's a market for a stroller for older children like mine who doesn't like to walk? ????. I gave it a quick wipe down when I returned home using mild soapy water, so it's good to go in the morning ready for our next adventure ????
I don't think I'm going to drive in the car anymore. I want to take this stroller everywhere ????

My first impression when the box arrived,"are you sure my stroller is in there cause it's so small?" I was expecting a million pieces and an instruction manual but no, it slid out easily and with 2 clicks my stroller was good to go (tick). The first thing I said 'ahhhhh' too, was when I held the handlebar. I was expecting just a bit of cheap foam but the quality rubber used is luxurious and the grip is fantastic (tick)! I like the tether strap too for that extra piece of mind (Tick).Miss 4 helped me take Miss 9 months for a walk indoors last night and she's not very coordinated but she was able to keep it in a straight line and easily manoeuvred it back without bumping into any walls (Tick). The stroller is so light yet the is frame is super strong which leaves to too believe it will be around for many years and still be in good knick. The interior is super comfy (tick). The whole stroller just sings out quality, quality, quality which doesn't surprise me as it was designed here in Australia! Time to take this bad boy for a spin ????
What a stylish stroller
by SharnaCombined rating
We recieved the stroller today! It was really compact, light and the colourway.... really different. I found it really easy to use ( was only around the house at the moment) Daughter was quite happily sitting in the stroller. Yes even with the canopy open :) I was really impressed with the belting mechanism. As my husband said, it is a racing strap. I found it sat well, was sturdy and supported our child where it was needed. As it is a stroller, i think that you cannot say it really reclines, it is only slightly, if it was a "pram" you would expect it to decline backwards a little more. We will see after using it on the weekend how our daughter goes, as she is six months old.... so her sleeping basically sleeping up, will see if it happens or not.

Today is the second last day for reviewing the Larktale Chit Chat stroller. This has been and is the best stroller I have ever used and owned. It's sleek style and bold colour it's such a pleasure to stroll it around. It had made my husband and I both bolt to get the stroller out first to see who pushes her proudly around. Before we both took turns as it was lug and heavy to push

It is almost the end of the month and out reviewing period. The Larktale chit chat stroller has to be the easiest stroller I have ever used and the lightest. It is so convenient to take with us on the go and my little girl loves it. I can't believe we have had it nearly a month. It has become more than a stroller to us. It had become part of our family. Everyone that had seen it had been impressed with it and I have family and friends that are looking into purchasing their own!
My favourite out and about pram

So we went out last night to a food festival and had a great time getting through the crowds while I watched other mums struggling with their big prams! Awesome little pram, best feature to me is how agile it is, and light weight. Also seen a friend who lived on the top floor of units with stairs and the light weight of it and the compact size made it sounds much easier than other prams you may find around the place. Very good pram! Love it. You could do your shopping and fit it right in the trolley while bub sits in the front of the trolley and be able to still do your weekly shop it's that compact.

We got so many compliments and comments on it from the clients in the waiting room, the doctor and the admin staff. My daughter loves her pram so much she even makes me take her around the house in it! We had my parents and sibling over and she pushed her pram over to the kitchen table and asked to go for a ride. With the rain we could only go for a stroll indoor and she loved it. She's so proud of her stroller! Finally she will sit and stroll inside of a stroller instead of her mummy's arms.
Our first walk in the Larktale Chit Chat Stoller
by mom184798Combined rating
We woke up to a rainy dark morning yesterday but after a couple hours the sun kindly decided to come out and bless us with some nice sunny weather so we did what any other Larktale Chit Chat stroller owner would do; we took it for a stroll around the neighbourhood. I found it very easy to manoeuvre in and out of the house (we have a step down from our door) where our other pram was difficult and had to be lifted. My daughter loved being able to sit up but I also loved the function where I can lay her back a little as she fell asleep halfway through the walk. She is just over a year old now and this stroller is a perfect match for her ago group. It is very easy to move on the sidewalk as well. You can push it using only one hand and not lose any control. It also has a safety strap for extra security for your baby. Being pregnant and having the new baby only a few weeks away it's hard for me to push a pram or stroller that puts weight on myself and my arms however this stroller doesn't even up a hill it's easy to move. All in all I would give this a five out of five star experience.
So excited to receive our Larktale Chit Chat Stroller!
by mom184798Combined rating
We received our Larktale Chit Chat stroller just in time for Portia's bed time last night. We let her stay up a little late tonight so she could help open it as she was so excited. The box was quite small and light and easy to unpack. Everything was already assembled and ready to go. The stroller comes with very clear and easy to read instructions and a two year limited warranty which covers the time period we would be using this for. The accessories it comes with are a cup holder and a carry strap which can both be easily removed and attached. You also have the option to purchase additional accessories such as a rain cover, insect shield and transport bag. I love the bright boldness of the red, making it a very fashionable stroller without being too girly for my husband to use. He quite proudly told me that he's strolling our daughter around from now on! We have only gone for a stroll around the house so far as it was a very cold night and has been a cold wet morning but we plan on going shopping tonight just to take it out for a spin. So far I am very pleased with the stroller and I shall post another review tomorrow with an update as to how our test drive goes tonight.
Taking our stroller out for coffee
by mom184798Combined rating
My husband, myself and my little girl went out for coffee and morning tea which was much needed after the cold morning we had. The cafe was small and quite cramped however we were able to fit my daughter in next to us in her new stroller which would have been impossible before. She even ate her Cookie Monster cupcake in her stroller sitting up like a big girl by zipping up the two zippers. Lovely stroller.
Packaging review
by mom184798Combined rating
The packaging the stroller came in was almost as stylish as the stroller itself! My old pram came in a huge heavy box that had I be lifted in by the courier. Not the Larktale Chit Chat stroller! The box was light and easy to manoeuvre which is so important to me because as I've mentioned before I'm expecting a baby in the next few weeks. It was extremely easy to unpack. Just cut off two foam pieces from the pram and remove two others and some plastic. The pram itself is all installed and ready to use. The instructions are placed at the top of the box so you don't have to climb inside of it or do any reaching. I haven't thrown the box out and plan to use it for storage as I really like the look of it.
Coffee with the Girls
by SharnaCombined rating
Thought that seeing as the weather was so lovely today that maybe a coffee with the girls was in order! I was happy how easily it was to take the stroller out of my boot. It was set up within seconds. I was able to easily move around the shopping centre. It stood up on the escalators. I found that it wasnt a heavy weight unlike our pram. I got a lot of comments regarding how different the stroller was and the unique colourway. I have to say it is quite unique and really different, unisex colour way. Was surprised that our six month old did drift away to sleep in the stroller. I was not expecting for her to do that as she was so use to drifting off lowered in the pram! Cannot wait for the next trip with out Larktale Chit Chat Stroller!

Chit Chat exploring Melbourne
by SamGrayCombined rating
Well I have to say the Chit Chat made our little family getaway a breeze. The Chit Chat was super easy to fold up at the airport and check it on its way. It arrived safe and sound and was a breeze to pop back up at the airport. It was also very easy to get on and off the trams in Melbourne. We love catching the trams everywhere they were so easy before we had our little man and just as easy now with our little man. And off course we looked the part in our very modern Chit Chat. Max loved having naps on the go in the Chit Chat - the only thing I would love to have is a window in the top of the roof so I can see what Max is up to. A universal wind/rain cover fitted perfectly as well on the Chit Chat to keep out the Melbourne chill. Overall the Chit Chat is a compact, stylish stroller that is easy to manoeuvre around Melbourne and is a breeze getting on and off trams.
Larktale Chit Chat Stroller

My sister in law came to visit last night and my daughter took her to see her lovely Larktale Chit Chat Stroller. I wanted to share her comments about it as well; She said the stroller was an "awesome colour" and was surprised by how "easily it popped up and down". She also loved the fact that my little one actually likes being in it. She hated her previous stroller so we hardly ever used it. My little one made her push her around it for fifteen mins. This is clearly an amazing stroller with no negative reviews so far!

When the Larktale Chit Chat stroller is folded it is so small it can fit in a tiny boot. Like my parents small Toyota Yaris' boot comfortably. Our previous pram would not fit! This is a great stroller for when you are out and about and on the go. Perfect for holidaying as well.

Hubby has had the passed two days off work so thought that it was the perfect opportunity for him to test out the new stroller! He found it extremely easy to unfold. He was impressed that he did not have to "burn a sweat" setting it up. He found the harness easy to use, very sturdy and he was impressed it was a "race car" kind of harness! He was impress how easy it was to walk with the stroller, the easy of the easy foot break. Have to say you have won over a very hard to impress man!
Great for day to day errands
by mom1501Combined rating
Today saw us take our Lark Tale Chit Chat stroller on an errands run via the coffee shop. It was the first time ‘on road’ and Mr 6-months appreciated the smooth ride. We easily navigated the tight spaces in our favourite coffee shop, and he was able to ‘sit up’ and be a part of everything without taking up too much space. I would say that the coffee cup holder does not full secure 600ml water bottles however not impossible as shown in the picture. It is also slightly flimsy than other cup holders on other prams however I like the fact that this is included as standard and is easy to remove. We then headed to the supermarket for essentials. There is ample space between the base of the pram and the basket. You can fit a number of small items in the basket (on this trip, we bought the basics like bread and milk) and I can imagine you could also throw in beach towels, a few toys, small bag for other outings. I wouldn’t attempt to overload the basket nor put very heavy items in it. Perhaps one suggestion would be a drawstring pouch to enclose items in the basket. I really liked the mesh holder at the back of the stroller – good for placing my phone and wallet. I have been asked a few times about how the seat reclines. The seat reclines approximately 45 degrees. To recline the seat, you simply unzip the back section. You do need to push up the back part of the seat to zip it up again which is easily done but two hands are required. Overall we continue to be impressed by the Lark Tale Chit Chat stroller – have received many compliments and questions!

I love the Larktale. It's so light and zippy, yet still feels strong and secure. Bub loves it too! I've found the cup holder falls off pretty easily when folding/unfolding. Also, the frame scratches/scruffs really easily- potentially due to the type of plastic used.

The stroller is light, easily moveable, compact, great in all of those aspects. However there are a few things: even thought it light, I have found that it gets stuck on footpaths bumps & cracks, which makes it quite jolty. The smoothness of the ride overall is quite jolty. The reclining capability I don't find that great. I would prefer if it went back further, and also when the zipper is undone I find that if my son sits up the whole back moves with him, which has caused a few heart stopping moments. The shade canopy doesn't extend far enough for it to be useful for the sun, and it would be great to be able to have some sort of flap to be able to see through to my little one from above. The storage space underneath is also limited, we were able to fit in approx 1 x 4lt milk, but that's about all. On the positive side, the straps to clip them in are really easy to use & stirdy. The blue camouflage print isn't my style, but has gotten a lot of compliments. It's compactness is incredible, however for my very tall 1 yr old (86cm) the length is an issue. All in all, it's a good stroller, not a great stroller, and not worth its retail cost compared to other options out there on the market.
Chit Chatting along

So Max and I have been using the Chit Chat now for 2 weeks and it has fast become Max's favourite stroller. It is the perfect stroller for maneuvering around the shopping centres and Max loves the fact that he can see everything (he sits pretty upright in the chit chat compared to other strollers) and loves to have a good old Chit Chat with mummy as we go around the shops. However it is not mummy's favourite when we head out on our 7km walks around our local area using the lake cycle way. It handles the paths okay but when we have to head off the paths and onto the road its not the smoothest ride. It is definitely one for shopping and staying on footpaths and smoothish surfaces. Don't get me wrong it does handle off road okay, and I know its not built for the tougher terrain, it just is a very bumpy and rough ride for Max. A feature I also miss when we are headed outside is a viewing hole in the top of the canopy. With the canopy down for sun protection you cant see what Max is doing inside the stroller. Overall we still love the Chit Chat for its light, compact and easy to fold capabilities, its good looks and fantastic maneuverability. But if you want a stroller for off road you might need to look at a pram that suits that need.
Very Easy to Manoeuvre
by mom184798Combined rating
Elevator rides use to be a tight squeeze and very hard to get in and out of but with the Larktale Chit Chat stroller it's a breeze. You can easily turn around and move even when there are other people in it. So happy with this stroller.
Perfect for busy mums and dads!

It was a wonderful surprise yesterday getting a knock on the door and receiving this cool new stroller! What first struck me was that it was such a small box and it said on the side that there was no assembly required. I opened the box and sure enough- all I needed to do was remove a small amount of packaging and unfold it! It was ready to use straight away and I loved how easy it was to unlock and unfold- it was just a matter of pushing down on the handle bar and unclipping the lock and it almost unfolded all on it's own! Another thing that I noticed straight away was how sturdy the stroller is, it has the same build as a pram but is lovely and compact and light. Pushing it on our first walk was a breeze- I am used to using a double pram and while it has been lovely to use, is so heavy even when folding it down and trying to lift it into the car, whereas I could easily carry this stroller one handed (which will definitely come in handy having an active 3.5yr old and an 11 month old), and even carry it under one arm. I also love the gorgeous vibrant colour, which isn't an essential feature, but it is nice to have something a little different. My little girl was also very excited she kept saying repeatedly 'and it's only got one seat so I can walk because I'm a big girl!' On our first walk I noted how much easier it was to get up the big hills around my area (normally I palm this off to hubby). The only thing that I noticed was that like most strollers the Chit Chat is not a 4WD and you need to be careful to lift the front wheels when going from road to driveway, whereas my old pram I could bulldoze my way through things a bit more. But, that is a small price to pay for having something so lightweight and sturdy. Not that I can actually ask his opinion, but I think that my little boy loved it too, he seemed very content and happy sitting in the stroller and we look forward to using it for our big weekend adventure- more to come soon!
Let's chit chat.

There is so many prams and strollers, we are spoilt for choice. The pram l chose is heavy, bulky, difficult to manoeuvre, not to mention folding and putting it in my car makes me feel like l have just worked out. Today we got our Larktale chit chat stroller, and it's the opposite to my pram. When we opened the box the stroller was all put together, there was no frustration in building the stroller at all. I loved how light the chit chat stroller is, you really can carry it like a bag with the shoulder strap that the chit chat comes with. I did think that a little clip or something to hold the strap in the basket or on the stroller when the pram is up would be helpful and more secure. The look of the Chit chat in the pictures do no justice the chit chat has the feel of luxury, even my 6 month old was feeling the fabrics and frame. The wheels are great for a stroller, when looking at our strollers l notice how big the chit chat wheels were. The 5 point safety harness is easily adjustable and feels very secure. houdini wouldn't be able to escape from this stroller. At first the clips can be difficult to use but the instructions are helpful, other people getting your child out will probably need help. Although it did feel strange having my 6 month old face out, she seemed to really enjoy looking around and sitting up, it's such a great zippy stroller. The pram is very easy to move and the good gives great sun protection without hiding the child's view. The best part is how perfect it fits in my hatchback. I have so much more room now. My first impression of the chit chat is that it is light, easy to move and compact and comes with a cup holder, bonus. Larktale really did listen to Mums, Dads, and caregivers about what is really needed in a stroller. The pram is from 6 months as the seat is developed as a sit only (larktale are currently developing a pram). once you are done with the bulky huge pram for your newborn, chit chat is heaven as the stroller for your grown baby. The recline isn't as down as l would prefer but in saying that if they had made a bigger recline the stroller wouldn't be as compact as it is. My baby is 6 months and l don't think she will sleep in the stroller, however as she grows into a toddler l think she will easily fall asleep in it. The chit chat is zippy, light and great to get those quick errands done.
Passes the Daddy/Husband Test
by SharnaCombined rating
My husband cannot stop raving about this stroller. It is easy, light, a "chick magnet" and something that he has found suits our needs. It does not take up the whole of our family car book, meaning we do not feel that we are overloaded. Our daughter also happily naps in the stroller. So we do not worry about her being flat to sleep (she is almost 7 months) I would definately recommend this product. Fantastic durability for the price point!
A stroller that suits
by zettaprojectCombined rating
Had been using the stroller for a numerous of events - afternoon walk, grocery shopping, shopping trips, park trips etc. Is definitely a great stroller and suits me well. The few great highlights of the Larktake ChitChat stroller are lightweight, very easily manoeuvrable, 'shoe-saver' brake (so easy), quick folding down (LOVE LOVE THIS... as I feel that is not any hassle using a stroller which previously at times I avoid using my bulky pram unless needed). Also with the space left in my car boot after storing the stroller makes it so easy to place my shopping bags in the sufficient space. Bonus: Is always such a wonderful accessory to push round. With the great features comes with just a couple of cons.. once my older son gains a couple of kgs, he wouldn't be able to share this stroller with his little sister and my daughter has not attempt to fall asleep in the stroller - this could be just used to the fact she prefers the sling when napping. Not too good on rough roads/surface, and the cup holder seems to be a little shaky and have to take it out when closing the stroller. Despite the few cons, the pros outweighs them and ChitChat is my one main accessory I always bring out nowadays.
Compact Practicability - two prams to review
by mom150983Combined rating
We had two new strollers arrive in our house to Review on the same day! Miss One liked the light, compact maneuverability of the chit chat stroller, though when pushing she preferred the height of the Tinkers stroller. Mummy liked that the chit chat had walking space without a low crossbar to kick whilst pushing. She said that once you got the hang of it the chit chat was very easy to fold and expand. Miss One preferred the colour of the Tinkers but mummy loved the Chit chat colour range and was very happy with the colour she had chosen- Cottesloe Cream is so very stylish. The chit chat has a small basket below which mummy found was too small for an average nappy bag to fit into. But being a stronger type of stroller the bag hung at the back without tipping the stroller over. Mummy said that the chit chat was so light and easy to move about. Miss One and mummy agree that they want to take their strollers out for a proper test as soon as the rain clears up.
New stroller in my car
by zettaprojectCombined rating
I have replaced my existing pram to Chit Chat stroller as it is so much lighter, compact and easy to use, and most of all - more space in the car. Previously, I had the Chit Chat indoor (e.g. going grocery shopping). Recently just took a walk around the lake/park. Obviously the feel was slightly different. With the bumps and uneven grounds outdoor, the stroller still works well, but definitely not as smooth as travelling on indoor grounds. Credits on it are; it is still very quick to manoeuvre, light and easy to open/close it. Speeding on this stroller is definitely a 'no-no' as it is not cater to take high speed, otherwise all great. We still getting attention from on-lookers which proven the stroller is stylish :) Have to highlight that is EXCELLENT for shopping trips - went for a few and love the stroller. Narrow space - no problem!
Light, compact and versatile

Love this stroller, it is everything they claim it to be and so much more! It folds down to a neat, compact little bundle that is super easy to pick up. Very manoeuvreable when bub is in it, makes it a whiz cruising around busy shopping centres or busy streets. The colour range is superb, very stylish fabric designs to choose from, bub will be the trendiest in a pram. Love the shoe saver break and the cup holders are a bonus, some would say a must
Part 2 - Test Drive
by princessbelleCombined rating
So after Part 1 - First Impressions, this is my review on taking this stroller for a test drive. Being nice and compact when folded down, it fit easily into the back of my 4wd. Once at the shops, was easy enough to take out and open up. The lever to open the stroller is still a little stiff, but not too bad. I did wonder that over time, when getting the stroller out and putting it on the ground to open out - whether the frame would get scratched too much - I guess time will tell. Once all set up and bub strapped in, the stroller is super easy to move around, and has a tight turning circle which is great for zipping down aisles and in and out of tight doctor rooms. Bub seemed happy to be riding in the stroller. Was happy to read in the instructions at home, that there are optional extras available to purchase eg. rain cover. If you were to use this stroller outdoors such as plenty of walks etc where there are no undercover section, then the rain cover would be a good purchase to have.
Part 1 - First impressions
by princessbelleCombined rating
I haven't been able to take this stroller out for a test drive as yet, however, these are my first impressions upon opening the box. The stroller is lightweight when collapsed down, is easy to carry with either the shoulder strap OR with the hand strap on the lower end of the stroller seat. It does fold down neatly (in half length ways) and is smaller/more compact than other prams, but not quite as compact as say an umbrella stroller. The unlock/open lever (to unfold the stroller) on the one I received, took a bit of a pull to get open, hopefully after using it a fair bit, this will get easier/looser as it's worked. The basket is small, however it's great to have one on a stroller! I really like the section on the under side of the chair, will be useful for wallets or extra toys/wipes etc. The seat itself doesn't recline much, which makes sense as this stroller is for 6-36 month old bubs. The drink cup is also an added bonus, just have to remember to take it off before folding the stroller, otherwise it just pops off anyway. Rubber handle is ideal as shouldn't wear as much as foam ones. The hood is a good size and feels like good material, so should last a long time. Next up, I look forward to taking it for a test drive! Will keep you posted.
Still Chit Chatting away
by SamGrayCombined rating
Well what can I say Max is still loving the Chit Chat. He even fell asleep in it the other day so it must be comfortable! I still think it is great for shopping centre and path strolls but a bit of a rough ride if heading off a pathway. Love the back of seat pocket - so much so I wish our other pram had one now! I do wish though that the material wasn't see through so my wallet wasn't always on show. Can't wait to put it through its paces on our upcoming Melbourne trip.
Tested with the morning drop off!

I thought finally my day off from work so why not take the Larktale Chit Chat Stroller out for it's 1st test! I was really happy how small it was in my boot (see photo) I had plenty of room left! I had to make the huge transition from a nappy bag to a backpack because the stroller cannot take anything hanging off the handles and the under storage was not big enough for our nappy bag After i finally worked out how to set it up (silly mummy didnt realise how easy it was!) I found the stroller was easy and light... easy to move around. Although it did not fair too well when it found cracks in the side walk :( It was a little struggle. Was very happy how easy the breaks were, too easy! I almost forgot! Our daughter Ellie was very happy sitting in her stroller, we also did not loose her jellycat bunny marshmallow as i was a little worried it may drop out. Have to say so far i am impress with the stroller so far, it is a little getting use to from a transition from a pram.
Lots of Ticks – Life Made Easy with a Great Stroller
by mom1501Combined rating
You’ve only got a few seconds to make a great first impression, and I was definitely impressed upon first meeting my new Larktale Mornington Grey Chit Chat Stroller! The first feature that struck me was just how light the stroller was. I could easily lift it with one hand, doubling as a bicep work out. It’s also incredibly compact and would easily fit as hand luggage on a flight – my mind immediately drifted to all the holidays I could have with this stroller. A stroller made in tropical paradise heaven! Ease of assembly was my next test. Handling baby equipment has been a great challenge for me, however with only a few logical clicks, the stroller was up and ready to roll. While it is very light, it is also very sturdy. I practiced putting the stroller down – I could do this super-fast, again with just a few clicks. I then put my 6-month old in for a spin around the backyard. He sat very comfortably in the stroller and despite being only 7kg, was securely strapped in with the harness. There is plenty of space between the seat and the good-size basket underneath. This stroller has a footbrake which is handy and can be applied quickly and without a great deal of force being required. The Larktale Chit Chat Stroller is easily manoeuvred – I would say it actually glides, and can be steered one-handed. We did wheelies using both left and right hand - important to know it can be managed when you don’t have both hands free to navigate crowds and tricky corners. The canopy provided sufficient coverage as well though does not come right down like other larger prams. The UPF50+ protection is better than my current pram and essential for those summer holidays we’ll be taking. I found the stroller to be the right height for me at 166cm, my husband at 185cm and grandma at 160cm who all had a quick push as well and commented just how smooth and sturdy the Larktale Chit Chat Stroller was. Next up will be my out and about test (a.k.a the coffee run), the car boot challenge, the dad test and the all-important baby opinion!

Sale shopping trial!
by SharnaCombined rating
Today we took the Larktale Chit Chat Stroller to our local shopping centre, Eastland. While i found it easy to get out the car (VERY EASY!) The challenge i found was trying to stroll on carpet based floors.... it was hard to maneuver, and i found the challenge at times trying to take corner in H&M aisles ... warning the wheels can kinda lock up if you try to take a sharp left or right. I was really worried if our daughter would actually sleep in the stroller. If you can see from the photo no issues regarding comfort for her sleeping. No issues she was sound asleep. Overall really happy with this stroller, something that has now made our trips out in the real world a whole lot easier!!!
Lightweight & Stylish
by zettaprojectCombined rating
Finally got the Chit Chat stroller. Pretty excited when I got it. Unbox it and there it go, just a one piece item with no extra assembly required. Nice stylish design. As it was late night when i unbox it, I only manage to give it a walk around the house and will give it a go with my 8mth old in the morning. First impressive were light weight, easily manoeuvre & stylish. Explored the features; quick to set-up and keep, great that it has only a one-lock brake, cup holder, sufficient storage space (at least I think), a strap to sling the stroller etc. The only thing unsure is how stable it could be until I put my little one in for a stroll; will leave the actual testing tomorrow and review again. Pretty excited about giving her the first ride,
compact, easy to use, hardly reclines
by roms14Combined rating
I love everything about it but has a major down fall.... It hardly reclines!! Don't mind so much for a toddler but for a 6 month old they will practically be sitting up when sleeping . To recline it's quite noisy too so will wake a sleeping baby. It's light, compact, easy to use which I love but a bigger canopy would have been great also. Don't think I'll be using this for my baby but great for toddlers. A bit dissapointed
Move like a 'speedcar'
by zettaprojectCombined rating
Took the ChitChat stroller to the shops today - first time to the outdoor. Highly impressive on how manoeuvrable it is in the supermarket; with people and trolleys around, I was able to move around narrowly anywhere and able to 'slip' around corners :) I tried to do 'U-turns' at times and move around the aisles in a quick pace at times and it does the job well. Even my 3yr old is able to push his little sister well in it. Little one was pretty content sitting in it during my shop (noticed a few people looking at baby/stroller - not sure is it at cute baby or stylish stroller (perhaps both, haha..) I did tried to use the cup holder but when I tried to close the stroller, the holder seems to 'pop' out (not sure if I hook it well) hence I did not really use it. The seat incliner is fine, but if baby is tired and would want a nap, it is not going to go all the way down for baby to rest. My another concern would be how lasting the zipper for the incliner would last - if we chose to incline up and down numerously. I definitely like the lightweight of the stroller. Just that at times subconscious I was unsure if I accidentally trip over it, would it take the balance and not topple side/over, otherwise the easy handling of the stroller is great. With my first usage, I do love the stroller and think that ChitChat is a great stroller when used for certain outings/situations (like doing shop, or dinning in a small cafe etc.) and bub is not sleepy and wanting a sleep during the time on the stroller. It works so well when they are awake and is interesting for them to look around and for you to move around easily. I am going to go on more outings with it and review it again. Till then.
Like a beemer
by mom70876Combined rating
This is really the luxury of all luxury prams. I am rather bummed that I did not get to review this pram unfortunately. However, one of my good friends has it, and I got to test drive it the other day. Wow, it really is great handling (possibly as I am used to my cumbersome 50 year old pram). It turns on a 50 cent piece, handles corners amazingly. It really is like the BMW of prams. I do think that it is a little overated. It might be easy to fold down, but takes some time to figure it out in the beginning.
6 month old needs to grow into it.
by GreenyCombined rating
I took our chit chat stroller for a walk today and found that maybe my 6 month old isn't quite ready for a forward sitting stroller just yet. She got very sleepy and she isn't at the stage of sleeping how a toddler can. I think the stroller is great, it's compact, it's light and very easy to manoeuvre around. I love the straps perfect to hold in an energetic toddler. The chit chat stroller is advertised for babies 6 months plus, however l believe it is better suited to older children from 1 year and up. My reason is my baby still falls asleep to the motion of being pushed around and instead of falling asleep she was uncomfortable and unsettled and she wanted to be facing me. I don't think l would discourage anyone one purchasing the stroller for a 6 month old, we will still enjoy short quick trips in the stroller around town for the time being, and allow our baby to grow into the stroller before we completely replace our bulky pram. I also plan on using the stroller around the house while hanging the washing etc. this stroller will be very useful in our family and will be used for many years.
Practical and fun
by mom150983Combined rating
We have found using the Larktale Chit Chat that it is very practical and fun. My toddler particularly likes the delivery box which has adorned our lounge room after its renovation into cubby house :) (see the picture). I don't think that I will be able to get rid of it anytime soon! I love how easy the stroller is to open up (when the button works first time- some times it sticks a bit) and easy to fold down. For a stroller it is very sturdy and doesn't tip over- even with a bag hanging on it which is awesome. I have found however that the wheels didn't take long before they were quite worn. This stroller is great for quick trips to the shops as the smooth floor surface is good, but as soon as you hit a rough surface it becomes a very bumpy ride for bub! The Small storage basket below the stroller is quite hard to access and doesn't fit a great deal in it so we usually just hang the nappy bag on the back of the handle bar. An ideal pram for small trips or stores but not ideal for being outdoors or going over rough terrain (even slightly rough)
Making shopping a breeze!
by mom150983Combined rating
As a mumma I have always found grocery shopping with a pram and trolley near impossible! Until I discovered that my chit chat stroller fit perfectly as a carriage to the smaller size trolley at my local supermarket. My toddlers feet still had space for active toddler movements and I found that by steering the trolley I had such control as the chit chat front wheels fit in perfectly to the trolley wheel base. I will definitely be using this train style shopping set up again! As a side note I have always found my chit chat to be difficult to unfold as the switch to release seems to be stiff and difficult to use, which can be frustrating and detracts from the compact and easy to use product promise. Other than this difficulty I have really loved trying out the chit chat and love being able to use it regularly.
It’s not a case of ‘one size fits all’ for the Chit Chat
by DowntongirlCombined rating
Enough folding and unfolding; enough adjustments of the straps; enough pushing up and down the hallway and testing the turning circle in the kitchen – it’s time to take the Larktale Chit Chat stroller into the field. The trouble is, my daughter isn’t ready. And I’m guessing she’s about 3-4 months away from being so. The recommended use of the Chit Chat stroller is 6 months +. My daughter has just reached 6 months – she fits in the seat, and the straps fit over her shoulders snuggly on the lowest setting, but she seems uncomfortable with the upright positioning and appears to be straining to sit even further forward. She’s also not used to facing forward and grizzles as soon as a walk behind her to push. So, in order to conduct the field test, we recruited some help: in the form of my niece and nephew, aged 3 and 4. We took the stroller to our local netball courts, and the kids argued over who would be “Mummy” (push the stroller), and who would be “Baby” (sit inside). The three-year-old lost initially (as the youngest usually does), and took his place in the seat. And he wasn’t happy about it. Without any prompting his presupposition has that the Chit Chat was a baby’s pram, and he was just too big. And he did look too big for the Chit Chat. Admittedly he is tall for a three-year-old, but the extent that his legs stretched out of the seat surprised me. They dangled far below the footrest and almost scraped on the tar. Of course it was the same for his four-year-old sister – but she was so tall that it was uncomfortable for the sunshade to be drawn over her head. She looked comedic with her head nestled within the centre of the dome, just touching the roof, and the black shade obscuring her vision. So the window of opportunity is small for the Chit Chat it seems… Six months is far too early, and four-years is far too late. The kids did have fun pushing the stroller around the courts. Aside from a few reminders to look forward to avoid running into the netball hoops, the kids managed the stroller fine on their own. They took turns pushing and running alongside, and had no trouble maneuvering or lifting the Chit Chat. My only other observations were that the wheels seemed to click and rattle whenever the kids picked up speed, and did seem a little flimsy. I also tried zipping up the backrest while one of the kids were in the seat, and it was difficult – I needed to ask them to sit forward and remove their weight from the backrest, otherwise the zipper would stick. Despite these picky criticisms, I can see myself using the Chit Chat when my daughter has grown into it. So long as your child is the right size, I can see that the advantages of the stroller being so lightweight and compact would outweigh the minor downsides.
Compact, light, but practical for daily life?
by DowntongirlCombined rating
There are so many expenses when you have a baby – it’s so nice to be given the odd freebie! Thanks so much to Mouths of Mums and Larktale for the opportunity to test and review the Chit Chat stroller. When the courier arrived, I was surprised by how small the box was. I was sure that the stroller would need to be assembled, because the proportions were cardboard was so small. But no – the stroller is that compact, it folds down into a neat, suitcase-like package. I don’t think I’ll have any issues fitting this little number down the narrowest of shop aisles. And it’s light too! One of my pet hates with prams is the strength that is needed to haul some of the heavier models into the boot of a car. Not with the Chit Chat stroller – this thing could easier be swung over the shoulder, and stashed away in a hatchback. I must admit though, the general weightlessness of the Chit Chat does make me a little nervous. I’m worried that a gust of wind would send it toppling over. I’ve only wheeled it around the house so far and it does feel a little flimsy, and very plastic. It reminds me of the pink toy pram that I used to push around the local netball courts as a kid. I’ll reserve judgment until I take it out for a real spin, but I’m also wary of some practical elements of the Chit Chat. The instruction manual states that 1kg maximum can be stowed in the seat back pocket and 3kg max in the basket – I carry around so much baby junk on a daily basis, I doubt that will do for me. It also specifically warns against placing “parcels or accessory items” anywhere else on the pram – so I won’t be able to hang our nappy bag or shopping bags from the handle. From this perspective, the Chit Chat might not be suitable for the grocery store – but is it suitable for a walk? The instructions advise against “running, jogging, skating or rollerblading” (not an issue for me, I’m more of a casual stroll kind of gal) – and it also warns of “the possibility of tipping… on higher sloping and uneven surfaces.” So the clear message being: the Chit Chat is more urban than off-road. I’m looking forward to testing it out, but in the meantime here’s some early feedback from the Dad in this equation: The cup holder is a big tick, but the circumference is too snug for a can in a stubbie holder.
