Review: Dettol Floor Cleaning System

I have just tried the Dettol Floor Cleaning System. It was amazing how much dirt it picked up even though i had swept the floor right before trying it. It took 2 cloths to clean my house and both looked like a hadn't swept first. I love that it is dry 2 seconds later as there are constantly people at home walking over the floor whether its wet or dry. I love that using a clean cloth is the same as using a new mop head so you aren't constantly using the same semi-dirty mop each time. Being that it is just a cloth it makes it easy to clean up a spill and is light enough that my 5 yr old can use when she wants to help with the cleaning and i don't need to worry about the bucket of water being tipped over by accident. This is an item i will continue to use in the foreseeable future. Thank you for giving me the opportunity to try it out.

I am falling more in love with this product, I've had the chance to use it again aswell as my partner and my partner who is OCD loved it, he was a bit dissapointed with the cost of the replacement wipes but he was relieved to find that our baby wipes fit..lol.. Im loving the smell which was refreshing walking into my home this morning with it smelling awesome.

I have been using this for a while now and its fantastic, quick clean of floors when you have kids and no messing around with mops. smells great and works great. love it

I was lucky enough to be doing the trials with the Dettol mop. I can say it's been really great. I've been using it for about a month and I've recommended it for my clients. I work in aged care in the community and the ease of this cleaning system is great. Also, because germs can be deadly to those with a lower immune system I find it greater than doing a normal mop.

Have been using the Dettol Floor Cleaning System not long after it came out and have found it so easy to use to clean my wooden floors and bathroom floor by picking up all the dirt and dust even under cupboards that are hard to get at and they dry so quicky you don't have to wait to walk on them.

The floor cleaning is super light and super easy to use with a nice fragrance and great for floor boards and families with children and pets we found it a time saver and easy to store

I have just tried out the Dettol Floor cleaning system on my living room tiles and the tiles in my bathroom. The mop is easy to assemble and comes with adequate instructions. It is easy to use on tiles and really does come up clean, even on some of the tougher spills/stains on the floor. Love how the floor is dry very soon after using it as it is hard to keep little people off a freshly mopped floor! Smells great too. Easy to dismantle for storage in small spaces. The only thing is though, I wonder how much the refills are in the supermarket - I must check next time. Thanks for the opportunity to review this cleaning system.

I've used my Dettol mop now a second time. The ease of a flat mop head is very appealing. It reaches the hard-to-reach areas with ease. The scent is very refreshing and I enjoy the disposable wipes I use. The feeling is very hygienic. I recommend using this system. As a carer, I've also used it in other people's homes and to me it leaves a great fresh feeling.

I never imagined I would actually be selected for any product trials so being selected was an unexpected surprise that made me feel happy. This product really surprised me - it looked so flimsy that I thought it would be useless when I first opened the box, but after using it a few times now I have changed my mind - I LOVE this product!! It was so much easier than a mop & bucket & especially usefull I found for quick clean ups when my grandchildren spill things. It left my floor smelly clean & fresh while removing all the cat hair.

I use my detol floor cleaner all the time easy to wipe up spills on the floor, kids sticky marks on the floor, picks up dirt grime grease texter shoe marks, its is amazing and also smells amazing, the clever system all screws together which also makes it compact when putting away can fit in the smallest of spaces, also the wipes are in a sealable pouch which means they dont dry out, one wipe does my whole kitchen area, i use mine for everythinf from lino to floor boards to the tiles in the bathroom and kitchen really is versatile and easy to use its a must try for any mum.

I love using the Dettol floor cleaning system. It's not only great to use on floors but I recently came up with the brain wave to clean my bathroom walls that has a tiny bit of mould on them. It was FANTASTIC, easy to use to clean the walls, smelled wonderful and 3 months later no return of the mould at all.

I Love this product and I have been using it for sometime, however I find that I need to use tissue paper (on the same handy mop) after I use the wipes as I get a residue left behind on my white tiles. Otherwise this product is a gem, especially in the bathroom. I have several cats, dogs lizard and two messy kids to contend with and this makes life so much easier. It dries up really quick too.

From the opening of the packaging, the fantastic fragrance, suggested that this cleaning system was different to the rest out there. And it was!! It gives me confidence that the floor is safe for small crawling children with the hygenically clean. Ease storage when not in use, lightweight as well.

This is my third review on this truly time saving and amazing product. I will definatly continue to use it in future as it is cleann,hygenic and easy to do. Excellent job and stays moist and useable for ages. After finished with floor give skirtingboards etc a wipe with the still clean edges. I was a little apprehensive trying out a new product but was pleasantly surprised. It was very easy to assemble and very light to use. The wipes pick up the dust efficiently, I used it on my bamboo floors and it cleaned well without leaving the floor wet. It's a big advantage not to wait for the floor to dry( I have 4 kids so its hard to stop them running around). The tiles cleaned pretty well too. It works well for smaller areas, had to change wipes frequently to mop the whole house. I think its a good cleaning system which would be easy to use by the elderly as well as the kids because of its light weight. I would definitely recommend it to others.

Being a single mum of 3 under 10, this mop is amazing. So quick and convenient and also so easy to use. The fragrance is great and sticks around for ages after use. Amazing how much more dirt it picks up compared to a normal mop. Awesome for floor boards and tiles. Along with even using the wipes to just clean the fridge. Definitely something i will keep using now and after my youngest starts to crawl. Will also be investing in more packs of the wipes. All in all, I love this product.

I just absolutely love the dettol floor cleaning system! The handle is light weight, durable and easy to hold. The swivel action is fabulous to get into many different areas, the ease of the disinfectant wipes to attach is wonderful, however a bit expensive when you have to keep re using them all the time. I like it gives a good sanitary clean and works well on our floors. I would definitely recommend this onto any one else. I am a fan. Thanks.

The first thing I noticed in regards to this product was its light weight, this is also good, for elderly people whom would prefer not to strain with a bucket and mop. It's great for collecting dust particles, and leaves the room smelling fresh and clean.

So much easier than mopping and bucket of dirty water. Surprised at how effective it work. It picked dog and cats hair with easily. Its left the floor with a nice smell and dried.

Once I found out I was chosen to review this product, I was so excited! I received it in the mail just a hour ago and have tried it out already! The idea of this product is very smart as it was super easy to clean the wooden floor using this! It left the floor with a nice smell and dried almost immediately! It was super easy, effective and convenient to use and I will recommend it and purchase in the future!

Ive been using this product for a while now and I love it. Ive got young ones and its great. Makes my house smell nice and my floors look clean.

I was given this mop system from MoM in order to review it. I have been using it for more than 6 months now, and it is still going strong. I love that this works on many different surfaces. It is very easy to use, just pop on the wipe and off you go. It is only best to use between mops though to keep floor fresh. I find that half the wipe is wasted, so I take it off, fold it over and continue to clean on my hands and knees. Smells amazing.

The cleaning system allows you to get the floors not only clean, but clear of germs, and heaps easy. I can go from my kitchen floor tiles, to the bathroom floors, and then onto the laundry floors. Very easy to change cleaning wipes. Totally effortless, Superb product I will use each and every day.

My daughter saw me cleaning the kitchen floor and asked if she could clean the bathroom floor! In less than 2 minutes she was busy cleaning throughout the bathroom. The great thing with the mop being wipe friendly is at the end of cleaning you can take the wipe off and then crawl into hard to reach areas. Use the back of the wipe to clean behind the toilet or next to the sink.

since I recieved this gift to try, no longer will I others buy. It cleans and gets the feeling of being hygenic and clean used it on other surfaces too, makes a difference it is true. Then when the dirt is cleaned away I can throw this wonderful cloth away. I must admit I was a little apprehensive about using the Dettol Floor Cleaning System as I just didn't think that it could make my floors shine like my trusty (yet bulky!) steam mop. Setting it up was extremely easy - the lightweight mop connects together effortlessly and attaching the floor wipes is as easy as pie. I used the system on dark grey tiles in our kitchen and dining room and was totally amazed how much dirt the wipes were able to pick up. It's amazing how much dirt you CAN'T see on dark tiles! The tiles dried in a quarter of the time it would using a steam mop and it also left a clean, light and refreshing fragrance. Disassembling the mop looks very easy but I found that storing the mop as is was much easier. It's so light and slimline that it will fit just about anywhere! The wipes were easily disposed off in the bin and I was able to step back and admire my amazing floors without spending another 20 mins draining and packing away the old steam mop. I've definitely been converted!!

I'm really impressed with the Dettol Floor Cleaning System. Having major back problems, I often find it a difficult task to mop my floor regularly with a mop and bucket, and I hate dirty floors! This system is simple to assemble, lightweight, cleans in a jiffy, and is dry to walk on in a couple of minutes. I'm impressed that it even has a swivel head, which helps making it easy to get into those awkward corners and spaces. My floor feels really clean, smells lovely and fresh, and has that "just cleaned look" about it. I've decided to get my elderly mother one of these, as she's finding it too difficult to mop her floors these days. It works just as well on my lino floor in the kitchen as it does on the tiles in the bathroom. I was amazed at how much dirt it picked up. I did vacuum first before I tried it. It's so compact that I can slot it in a tiny space I have beside the fridge and have it on hand all the time for unexpected spills. I highly recommend this product!

when this product came I was quite surprised by how compact it was.After opening it and putting the handle together I was surprised how light it was.The process of cleaning the floors and tiles is so much easier than getting a bucket of water and a mop.This product saved time and energy

I did enjoy using the Dettol Floor Cleaning System. It was very easy to use and so convenient for those small spills that don't require a bucket of hot soapy water and a mop. I love the smell of them too. But I probably won't buy them. While it made things a little easier, info prefer the full on clean of a bucket of hot soapy water and a mop. Sometimes the old ways are best

This product actually came to my attention when it was a review item on mouth of mums. I ended up getting it and was pretty amazed as how easy it was to use, It left a fresh lingering smell whenever I use it and I have found it to be a massive time saver as i can now get my large lino and wooden floor areas withun minutes instead of having to mop every few days. All in all i find it to be Amazing!!

Hubby and I decided to purchase this as we have large porcelain tiles over the majority of our house and needed a quick spot clean device. It works well but the towelette doesn't stay moist for very long meaning we tend to use more than 1 or even 2 sometimes. We have resorted to using disinfectant wipes which come in bulk packs rather and are cheaper than dettol refills!

I found it very easy to use. I didn't realise how much it picks up after using it on my tiles. I love the product and has a wonderful fresh fragrance that makes the whole house smell good.

I love the Dettol Floor Cleaning System. So easy to use so convenient. I bought another Dettol Floor Cleaning System for my upstairs bathrooms. I find the fragrance so refreshing. The cloths work well and the easy of popping another on per room is a great idea for not spreading germs from room to room. Loved that it worked well on the ceramic tiles as well as the vinyl planks in my kitchen. Dried really fast took no more than 5 minutes to dry and we were happy that the floor did not leave streaks.

I have been trialling this cleaning system for about a month now and i'm still really happy with it. No more running hot water and getting the mop and bucket out for small cleaning jobs, I just put on a new cleaning job, before you know it the mess is cleaned up and smelling lovely. This is one of the easiest and most efficient ways I've found to clean floors. It takes a minute to put the wipe on the mop and straightaway you can smell and feel it is working. And best of all, it doesn't leave the floors wet so that you have to wait ages for them to dry. Definitely recommend!!

The Dettol floor cleaning system is so easy to use and cleans very efficiently. It cleaned my tiles quickly with a great result. It is really good for small messy spots and even cleaned off some older dirty spots. It dries quick and has a nice clean scent afterwards. The used wipe is really large and I used it the collect some dirt and rubbish particles, so it worked well as part mop, part broom! Even the kids want to use it.

The dettol floor cleaning system works beautifully on my brand new laminate floors. Having 2 small children plus a dog, the fact that it's quick and easy for me to use everyday was a huge selling point. I would still do my weekly mop and bucket on the floor, but the dettol floor system is fabulous for spills and an everyday once over killing germs and providing a please read odour. Very happy with this product and will definatly be continuing to use the product on a regular basis

Dettol floor cleaning system has been a life saver and a time saver! Spills & general mess from our 18 month old toddler (and unfortunately our 14 year old puppy) are easily cleaned up, the fresh scent erases any memory of what we had to clean up and our whirlwind life can continue again!

So I woke up this Sunday of a morning To find my 4 year old using my wonderful Dettol cleaning system. It made me laugh because her response when she saw me was you were sick so I came to help you. I walk into the kitchen now and my tiles dazzle with shine. The smell is just so healthy. I love my Dettol-clean kitchen. Instead of filling up a bucket of water and waiting 20 minutes for the floor to dry, it’s dry in under 2 minutes and it only takes me 2-3 minutes to clean.

This product is fantastic... Works amazingly on my laminate floorboards with little effort. the house smells clean after using and with 3kids and a dog it's fantastic.... I absolutely love this Floor Cleaning System! It was so easy to unpack and assemble the mop that even my 6 year old helped to push the wipes onto the mop head. Our little man also wanted a turn at mopping the floor and he liked it, commenting that the floor will smell so nice. This mop is extremely lightweight and easy to move along the floor. I was pleasantly surprised at how much was picked up as I only had lightly swept. I love that the wipes smell so good, are antibacterial and so easy to change over for a fresh new one. I used two wipes each for our kitchen and bathroom as it picked up a lot. I was happy not to have to wring out a mop bucket and carry it through the house. It was so easy to use, and my floors came so clean in less time it would take to take out the mop& bucket. There was no mess to clean up after cleaning my floors.. Which would normally be the most tedious part. And my whole room smelt great, in the process

No sooner have I mopped the floor something gets spilt on it. I love that I can grab a cloth, chuck it on and away with the spill no sticky mess etc left behind. The only thing I did find was mine curved a little so I have to press a bit harder than I use to but really not a huge problem. I also made the mistake in not securing the bag properly after use (nearly empty packet) so the last couple went a bit dry. I love that you can buy the refills at a reasonable price.

I bought these wipes to clean my kitchen tiled floor specifically. Its summers now and before any insects/cockroaches start coming in, I wanted to make sure that I save my kitchen. My little one loves to come inside the kitchen and play on the cool floor. I'm so happy with this product. My kitchen floor is so clean and shining, I love being inside the kitchen. NIce product.

Loved the Dettol cleaning system. It's quick and easy to use between major floor washes. It's amazing just how much the wipes pick up. I will continue to use in the future.

The dettol floor cleaning system is great for me. It is perfect for cleaning up the spills and messes my children create every day. In my house there is no carpet so I have a lot of floor boards and tiles to clean in my 5 bedroom home in my case I have found its not great as a total floor cleaning system. I would certainly recommend it for cleaning 1 or 2 rooms, and it's also really good for cleaning the kitchen floor after dinner. All in all I think it's great and would recommend to others

Love this product, so easy to use, leaves a great scent, so easy to use my 10yr old can use when she has an accident in the kitchen or her bedroom, the disposable wipes are great just knowing it\'s clean every time you use. It\'s so lite and I store it in my kitchen for easy access.

I used the dettol floor cleaning system to refresh the bathroom and toilet between mops. It is easy to use and refreshes the whole area, particularly when the little people in my house "miss the spot". It is also great for giving the kitchen a once over after a messy cook-off.

What an absolutely tops idea. it is so simple and quick to set up, the first time I used it was to clean up a spill of watermelon and I then realised that you needs a dust and particle free floor for it to be used to it\'s full potential, so the next time I vacuumed I quickly ran over it with the Dettol Mop and it was amazing how much dirt it picked up, just fantastic, highly recommend this system. I tried this on my tiles floors and not only did it leave a lovely smell it also cleaned a few stubborn marks off the tiles. The smell was really nice and the handle long enough for us tall people, as well as being flat enough to go under low furniture. When it was dirty, I turned it over to the other side then used that also. When the cloth is dry it is also good for picking up lint and dust. I will keep using

I think this is great, does its job effectively, works very well and cleans fantasticly. Its convenient for the days where you dont need to do a big clean also great because I have two boys who sometimes their aim is off and you need to do around the toilets pretty often.

When I found out I was picked to review the dettol floor cleaning system I was excited to try something that could make my cleaning easier. I have cleaned my vinyl laundry floor and my tiled bathroom floor it did a great job on both! It smelt really nice and it dried quite quickly, the mop head is a good size to get into those small areas, the wipes are a good size and nice and thick probably not as wet as I would like them to be though. I would buy this mop again it's great for a quick freshen up of the floor but I defiantly think you will still need a proper mop to get the floor really clean. Overall great product thanks for letting me review it ????

The mop was easy to put together, 4 parts that screw into each other the wipes are large & push into mop head easily & just pull off to remove & put in the bin . Fragrance is lime & mint which leaves a lovely fresh fragrance. I used on wooden floors & ceramic tiles with excellent results .old marks were removed without too much scrubbing . Stairs were super easy to clean, just one wipe over with mop & all dust disappeared. I love this detox mop system & will continue to use

I was skeptical about its ability to clean properly but it is a great and easy way to clean up spills and even everyday cleaning I used the cleaner on my kitchen, bathroom and toilet floors. It left my kitchen with a clean fresh and shiny lino I had to use a spray on a dried out spill but it cleaned and softened it first, a extra positive for me was that half the mop fitted nicely under my oven to pick up the dust and also my fridge. The bathroom and toilet were well cleaned and again left nice a shiny I found that it picked up hair and dust perfectly. All in all I would continue to purchase the wipes as they make clean ups quick and easy assembly of the mop is simple and can be taken apart again for compact storage and once you finished you don't need to touch the dirty edges of the wipe to dispose.

So I was pretty excited to be picked to review this, I'm a cynical person and it takes a little bit of special to impress me, this mop done it! The smell that it left was so clean it made you happy and content, not the best for stubborn bits but great for that quick clean

Since receiving my cleaning system yesterday, I've already had to try it out twice. This time on my bathroom floor the mop system was much more effective (than the kitchen). It continued to clean after more than one swipe (not the case yesterday), and also collected random hair and fluff. My bathroom floor is left clean, and smelling great. It was quick and easy to use. I will continue to try it to see if the wipes justify their expense.

I LOVE this product, so quick and easy to use. but i did find it more so just to clean up spills and hard marks, it was costly to buy more wipes so i didn't end up using it past the first pack of wipes that come with it. i would use it again if the price in refills wasn't so high!

Hello! This morning I was up early and I've just super-cleaned my kitchen tiles with my wonderful Dettol cleaning system. I walk into the kitchen now and my tiles dazzle with shine. The smell is just so healthy. I love my Dettol-clean kitchen. Instead of filling up a bucket of water and waiting 20 minutes for the floor to dry, it's dry in under 2 minutes and it only takes me 2-3 minutes to clean.

Apartment living is short on storage , this is easy to store, works well on hard surfaces and perfect for between cleans .

I love this easy to use system. It cleans well and love that it's antibacterial! With little ones, it's good to know we can clean quickly and germ free!! Leaves the floors shiny. Love it!! I like it very much because it's disposable as well. It suits our needs very well.

I was sent the dettol floor system and love it so easy to use no drips and easy enough for my daughter to use also when she has an accident , leaves a fresh smell in the room. It's also compact so I leave it nice and handy in my kitchen,.did I say I love it thank you for sending me one

Love it, when I need to do a quick clean of the tiles I just use get my Dettol cleaning floor cleaning system out and tiles are clean in just a few minutes. Then I throw the wipe away and I'm done. It's perfect when kids have dropped something sticky on the tiles, walked in with dirty shoes or just to give the tiles a quick refresh. Fast, simple and effective.

I wasn't a lucky winner to review the dettol floor cleaner this month, so with a little persuasion I convinced my partner that we needed it, my house is all tiled and the tiles are white so we see every little bit if muck that gets around. I had a hunch this product would be great and it was, dried straight away and left a beautiful smell throughout the house. Not keen on the price of the refills but if they were cheaper I'd give it a higher rating.

Rapid cleaning after spills from meal times with toddlers in high chairs. Clip on a new cloth wipe over the floor and dispose. Easy

I had seen this product in the shops and on tv and was a little sceptical to be honest which is why I had never bought it. I was excited when I discovered that I had been selected to try the product - who doesn't love free stuff, right??? The mop is very easy to put together. I don't think I would bother pulling it apart and putting it back together every time I used it although that would make storage easier. I would've liked a hole in the top of the handle so I could've either hung it up or added some string to make a loop to hang it up. The kids were asking what was in the box and if they could have a look once it arrives so I got it out that evening after dinner and put it together and attached the wipe which was all very easy. I showed the kids how to use it. and to my surprise they asked if they could have a go. Of course I let them each have a turn and they loved using it. They have taken turns cleaning the floors every night since - my floors have never been so clean! I found the wipes moist enough to do my kitchen and family room with the one wipe and another wipe to clean the bathroom, toilet and laundry. They were able to get the few marks that were on the floor off with ease and they left the tiles nice and shiny. The wipes have a pleasant smell that leaves the room smelling nice and clean. I usually pull out the mop and bucket and clean the floors once the kids have gone to bed but the Dettol floor cleaning system has changed that as it has become part of the kids chores and they are loving it! I also found that the floors dry faster than they would with the regular mop and bucket clean so the floors can be walked on not long after they are cleaned which is great considering they are now cleaned before the kids go to bed. The mop itself is very easy to use and super quick to grab and attach the wipe to and it does make my floors nice and clean. I will be added the wipes to my shopping list and will continue to use this system in my household. The only negative I have found is that the rectangle head can't reach everywhere my mop can, like around the base of the toilet so I won't be throwing out my mop and bucket completely but this system is definitely worth buying and I would highly recommend it!

The Dettol Floor Cleaning System is pure genius...I love how lightweight it is,how was easily it does skirting boards and how it can be manouevered in all kinds of directions ie under the fridge and in those tight spaces mops can't reach.The smell is great yet not overpowering.Makes the dreaded clean of the kitchen floor less of a chore

I used my trial of Dettol floor cleaning that arrived yesterday. It was easy to set up and get going immediatly. So much easier than mopping and bucket of dirty water etc. Very efficient though had to give a few areas a hand scrub (a spillage that left stain. Overall was very impressed and when I took wipe of still clean parts gave cupboard doors a wipe. It stayed moist and usable for time needed and more. So have to say cut my usual work time down and smell was lovely fresh and clean. With more experience in how really tough wipes are think it will be a must for me in future.

I found this system much easier than the old mop and bucket as there isn't as much preparation plus I can change it with every room so I know I'm not spreading any germs. Definitely with continue to purchase this one.

I love love love this mop. So easy for small spills on my floorboards. My son is forever leaving his bottle on the floor after finishing it and always manages to leave it on the sides that spill. The clothes are a little on the expensive side but definitely worth it for a quick solution to mess. Best for the kitchen or when the kids have finished eating there dinner. I also have one in my bathrooms

I used Dettol Floor Cleaning System on tiles. The system was very easy to assemble and to attach the wipes, which had a pleasant odour. On my tiles, I had some stains from pomegranate, which were easily removed. I would suggest to vacuum the tiles first before using the cleaning system, which I didn't do so I had some dust accumulate on the wipes. However the tiles became all shiny. I would recommend to use the DFCS, especially when dis-infection is needed, eg with babies and animals in the house.

I loved using the dettol system! Great for bathrooms, toilets and my kitchen, hallway and other parts are Lino or tiles! It takes half the time to clean these areas now but I know they are clean and sanitised! Very easy to use and leaves a beautiful fresh scent throughout the home. Highly recommend this product.

I found the Dettol Mop Fast and efficient however I used quite a few pads and the refills are expensive

So..... My Dettol Floor cleaning System arrived by mail at my workplace, as I was working at a different store that day the girls rang and said I had a parcel to collect. Being excited I asked them if they could please open it to tell me what it was. The girls asked me what I was expecting and I said that I was hoping it was the Dettol mop...... When they had opened it and say the mop they thought I wasn't going to be impressed, but I was so excited. I had wanted one for a while but hadn't gotten around to getting one yet. After picking it up from work I took it straight home and gave it a whirl. Its so easy to use, just gab a wipe and attach it to the base of the mop then once your done just throw it away. I have found it best for the small spills etc that easily happen in a family of 4. I wouldn't be able to do my whole household weekly mop with it though (As I do have a very large tiled area) as the wipe that attaches to the end loses it life reasonably quickly. I had never wanted it to replace my usual mopping, just for the accidents and it is perfect for that because its so quick and easy to use. I have stored it beside the fridge so its easy to access when there accidents happen. LOVE LOVE my Dettol Cleaning System.

When the package arrived I couldn't wait to try it and it wasn't long before I got the chance as I have a 5 year old boy and a 2 year old (toilet training) boy.. Need I say more! The detol floor cleaning system was easy to use, smells fresh and clean and I know that whatever surface I use it on will be disinfected in no time. I found the Dettol Floor Cleaning System incredibly easy to put together and use. It is light and compact and I love the fresh smelling floor wipes. The kids were really keen to have a go and loved the swivelling mop head which lakes it easy to get into small areas around furniture and cupboards. The only things I would improve are the mop handle which I felt was a little flimsy and I am not sure how long it would last. The wipes also dry fairly quickly on my timber floors and I found I needed to give the floor a spray of water for extra moisture. Overall I think it is a great product and I love the fact that there is no mess to clean up after use!

My ten year old put the whole thing together for me and washed the floor last night on her own, so it's very easy to use. It's fantastic for cleaning around places like the toilet or the cat food bowls, because you can throw it away afterwards. Much less fuss than getting out the mop and bucket every time the floor looks a bit dirty. I'll keep using it.

This little mop was easy to assemble, slimline, easy to store, and surprisingly, the wipes stayed firmly in the grip tabs. The wipes were moist enough to clean the whole bathroom with one wipe. Very impressed.

I thought these were fantastic especially for those oopsie moments with spills and for quick clean ups! Not great for a large floor area but fantastic for bits and pieces.

I was lucky enough this week to pick up my Dettol mop and wipes in the mail. After spending time working in Aged Care, I smell a multitude of unpleasants all the time. Hygiene is drilled into us as carers. After I set up my mop I was so relieved because the clean was so easy. Previously, I was a mop user. I knew after I'd dunked my mop in the water the result was instant contamination of the water. With the Dettol wipe system I can use 2 wipes on my floor and dispose of them easily. Ringing out a mop is hard work. Dettol wipes are quick, efficient and leave a fresh clean healthy odour.

I found the Dettol Floor Cleaning System very easy to assemble and quick to set up and use. The wipes that attach to the head are really moist and pick up quite a lot of dirt, they are easy to attach to the head. I would not really recommend this if you have a large floor area like mine as it took quite a few wipes to do the entire floor. The fragrance is refreshing and leaves the room smelling clean. Overall it is a great product and I will be using it on a regular basis in my smaller areas.

I love the ease of use in cleaning my floors, Its easy to use and theres' no residue. I also have found another use for mine. I hate it at the moment with the cold weather, that the walls in the Bathroom drip, so I have used my Dettol Floor Mop to wipe over my bathroom walls. I use three wipes and I have to say that my bathroom looks fresher and cleaner, and no more running down the walls.

Product looked flimsy when first opened but it works great for general cleaning & quick mop-ups jobs - I even used just the sponge part to clean the outside areas surrounding the toilet bowls, another I used to clean bathroom surfaces. The only problem I've discovered is that when I went to buy more of the sponges I decided they were too expensive for me being a disabled pensioner now so I ended up buying my usual cheaper cleaning products.

The Dettol Floor Cleaning System is a handy way for a quick clean of the floors. I'm amazed and the dust and dirt that it picks up, even though the floor might look clean. For stubborn stains, you might still need to use a bit of elbow grease. This wouldn't replace a regular mop, but for a quick spot clean, it's great. And the scent. I love love love it! Not your usual chemical cleaner smell. I'd buy it just for the smell.

It is the best cleaning system i have ever used. Cleaning was a breeze with this product. Ease of use and the feeling of the floor being clean and fresh gives you a lot of satisfaction specially when you have kids in the house. I would definitely recommend this product to all my friends.

I love this system. Have used other brands before but nothing beats this. No sticky residue, foolproof to use. Just stick the wipe on the mop head and go. Even my kids can use this. I like that it's anti-bacterial so I know it doesn't just clean the surface but actually *cleans* the surface.

I really loved how easy to use the Dettol mop is, the swivel head action makes it great for getting into those hard to reach places! It has a subtle fragrance which means it didn't affect anyone's sinuses. The wipes are great for cleaning up quick spills and cleaning in between the big mopping sessions. However, the wipes left a bit of a sticky residue on my floor that I had to wipe off using a Chux wipe (which I was able to use with the Dettol mop!) The wipes are a bit pricey, but I love that the mop can be used with other cleaning things (chux wipes were a great fit). I used the Dettol mop for cleaning my bathroom and kitchel floors, as well as using a chux wipe for helping to dust. Overall it was a great product, just not happy with the sticky residue left on my tiles.

I decided to buy the dettol floor cleaning system after reading the reviews. I probably wouldn't have brought it of l hadn't read the review yet, l thought it would be like the other flimsy cleaning rods that l have used before. I'm please that it isn't! When l opened up the pack l thought there was a lot of plastic, everything was wrapped up and l though, well at least l know it hasn't been used. I was in a hurry to get the floor cleaned after another messy meal. I was happy with the result. The floor cleaning system worked very well. I had cleaned very quickly and was able to move on to more fun activities with my baby. I am very please that l purchase the dettol cleaning system.

Oh my goodness, help me, since receiving this product I have become a serial mopper. My floors are going to shine. This is my third review. The more I use this system, the more it grows on me. I absolutely love the smell of the wipes. It is quick and mostly easy to use. It is not suitable for all floor surface - really dirty kitchen floors are not good for example. But a quick wipe over of the house entrance areas works a charm.

Very easy to use, and clean floor very fast!

I have a busy household, work full time and usually leave most of the mopping until the weekend because it\'s so time consuming. Usually it involves vacuuming to get the dog hair off the tiles and wood floors, filling a bucket with hot water several times to get all the floors done or dragging the steam mop from room to room and filling it up constantly. I often end up then having to clean up the water I slop while trying to move the bucket from one place to another or washing the steam mop pads out so I can continue cleaning. I received the Dettol floor cleaning system in the mail today so decided to give it a go, I didn\'t vacuum because I thought I\'d just mop over a coffee spill on the floor but I ended up mopping everywhere. I was really surprised at how effective it is, it picked up and held the dog hair, dirt, the coffee spill and even a piece of a leaf that had been walked in on someone\'s shoe. In the bathroom it fits in around the toilet (somewhere the steam mop won\'t go) and no rag mop cleans well. I\'m sold on the Dettol floor cleaning system, it\'s light weight but feels strong, no washing steam mop pads or a stinky rag mop.

I find this is very easy to use . No mess at all . Easily disposed of . But not hugely great for big areas . Its a bit of a stiff around in that sense . I do live the fragrance in the wipes and they can be used as just wipes. I think it would be a great in a kitchen spray bottle to make the benches smell and look nice

I LOVE this product, so easy to use, but i personally found it great for small spots, not whole floors. by the time you keep buying the actual wipes it all adds up. i loved it, but trying to keep my budget low wasn't able to keep up with the restocking

Yes dettol works and cleans great but its a big but After my cat got dettol on her skin she started having breathing problems she needed ventolin all night it saved her life. I thought she was going to die she is still not well she is having really bad reflux problems and possibly kidney problems and will need to be on medication for the rest of her life.but alot better than she was I found out from reknowned vets and websites that pine oclean and any dettol is toxic to cats and dogs even if they just have skin contact and will no longer be using this product.Google it is all over the internet it needs to come with a warning not pet friendly in thge USA the poisons hotline even will tell it is toxic.

The more that I use this product, the more it grows on me. It is so simple and easy to use. Just put it down, strap on the wipe and off you go. It smells great too. It is only really good for cleaning up small easy to clean spills/areas though. If you have a dirty floor then best ot mop, so I'd say that this is only really good for those in between moppings

i usually use soapy water wash and follow with a rinse of eucalyptus i n water. This worked extremely well, left a pleasant fragrance and cleaned tiles and timber flooring, i even tried it on a tea stain on the rug and it Worked! definately will be buying this for use in my home, it has the added bonus of peace of mind knowing my floors are safe for my little people when they visit too.

The best thing about it, is that I can store it anywhere as it folds right down. The next thing it was so light to hold in your had and swish around the floor, with the swiveling head, it got almost anywhere. absolutely loved it and will definitely be buying more wipes for it.

As I've had a shoulder procedure I was looking forward to trying the cleaning system. It ws easy to put together and I was most impressed with how the head swiveled. It easily got close to the fronts of the cupboards at the kick boards and was thin enough to go under the fridge. It's light and easy to swivel and I was impressed how it went into the space between the toilet and the wall. The cleaning sheet material remained affixed to the body of the mop. The cleaning sheet was easy to remove and I was impressed how the raised under surface aided in removing stuck on foodstuff on the kitchen floor. I was extremely pleased with the overall effectiveness of the system.

Dettol floor cleaning is the easiest floor cleaning product I have used. It saves time and effort.It left a beautiful fresh smell in my house. I had no worries or second thought about my 14 month old grandson playing on the floor. The cleaner worked well on the floor boards, tiles and lino in my house. A great surprise as I have just received and tried the Dettol Floor Cleaning System. I found it to be so light, effective and easy to use. The dirt I picked up from my kitchen was a joy to see as the grease and grime tends to stick to the lino. Now I know it's clean.

I haven't owned one myself but have used my mums one and it was perfect great for when little fingers get into things and make a mess it's fast and very convenient to use just grab it out and clean when you don't have the time to fill a bucket and then mop

I first got this a couple of years ago when my son had started crawling . Great to quickly grab out and mop up spills . The scent is awesome . Often woolies will have them on special and thats when I got mine . I've used the wipes just by themselves to wipes up spills and spots . Works ok on different surfaces

The detol mop is easy and fast to use. I loved that i didn't need to wash and dry the mop once i was finished. Being able to throw away the wipe is really convenient. I found the handle was a little shorter than my other mop and i was bending over quite a bit. On a positive note it wasnt as heavy to push around. Also the moisture in the wipe dried out before i could complete mopping my kitchen and dining area. Overall a good mop but it may become costly having to use so many wipes to get the job done.

The dettol floor cleaning system is effective for small spaces at a time. It is great to use as a quick mop over the kitchen and bathroom floors to ensure that there is a clean floor.

Enjoyed using the dettol floor cleaner, didn't realise how dirty my floors were. Also the smell wasn't overpowering, will be using this on a regular basis.

Found this mop very easy to open and put together which was a great start. First thing that hit me opening the packet was the lovely smell of the wipes! I had left a few spots when I was confirmed as a reviewer so I could test this mop out on them and I have attached the pics of before/during/ after. The black tiles are just a before and after. For stubborn spots it took a bit of elbow grease to remove them but this mop eventually did remove the marks. Along with the dust as you can see on the top row. I do however find that I probably would not use it for a full mop of my house as id probably go through too many wipes. I'm not sure what they resell at though so think this mop would be best kept for those spot cleans or isolated messes the kids make. Thanks for giving me the opportunity to test this mop out!

great product-although with a small family I waited for it to be on sale, the floor wipes I found to be a bit thin, I tried the Coles brand floor wipes, they are considerably cheaper and work just as well

Easy to use, and the wipes you attach are quite big, so can be moved up on the mop to be used again. Its nice to not be dragging a bucket of hot water around either, for little fingers to spill! And no need to hang out the mop to dry afterwards also, just pull of the wipe and throw it in the bin. I had a look at the wipes in store and they seem abit expensive though.

I loved the Dettol Floor Cleaning System. It is so easy and light to use. It smells great and gives a good clean leaving me peace of mind that when my little one crawls and eats off the floor I feel that its as clean as can be.

I love this. I use it not just for my floors, but also for my walls when inspection time comes around. The only real complaints I have are that the wipes come out with any really vigorous cleaning, and that there is no Apple scent. I am really not a citrus fan.

We have seen all the advertising about this product and thought we would give it a go and found that the handle is very strong as some products are flimsy and feel like they are going to break which impressed me. We also have small children, so having time to do anything is impossible so it didn't take very long to put the wipe on. I started cleaning dried on marks off the tiles and it didn't take much effort to clean it. So no mixing up floor cleaner or using the hot steam mop.

The cleaning system was easy to assemble and use. Wipes had a very fresh and clean scent. The cleaning system is great to use for a quick clean or freshen up of floors. Unfortunately the wipes do dry out quite quickly so you do need to use numerous wipes to clean a large open area. It would be quite expensive to use this system routinely if you have a large floor area to clean. However a great idea and concept if you need to clean a small area.

Using it after washing the floors gives that extra shine and smells great. I used it on floorboards and my first reaction was wow, it really does work on all types of surfaces. My son goes around the house now giving the floors a quick once over with the dettol floor cleaner. He thinks its great fun.

Great product but not suitable for large open spaces. The napkin doesn't stay moist for long enough. Would need to use a whole packet of these to do your whole house.

I was so excited to be chosen to review this product and receive it in the post as I had seen it on TV and been wanting to give it a go. With a crawling 7 month old, I am constantly cleaning the floors so found this great as its so easy to take out and use compared to preparing a mop. However after a small space, the wipe doesn't seem as effective so I feel it could get quite expensive to use as you'd need to replace the wipes quite often. I'd use this for a quick clean in between mops for the main traffic areas of the house

Very easy to use, nice fragrance not too strong but pleasant I found that after use the floors were a bit sticky, we were checking our footwear to find any foreign wetness or anything else that may give reason for the stickiness but found nothing on soles of the footwear unless I needed to wait longer after using the cleaning system for it to completely absorbed into the wooden floors Happy to have used and very pleased with the ease of use

The floor cleaning system is extremely easy and convenient to use. It's great to spot clean inbetween mops without getting all the other cleaning gear out. Love that you can throw the dirty wipe in the bin rather than swishing the mop through dirty water. Unfortunately it's not great at cleaning large areas. The wipes seem to dry and you need to put a lot of elbow grease into the clean. It's also another product that needs storing. I'd consider purchasing refills depending on the cost.

I love that it dries so quickly especially when I have a crazy infant running around. Its great to know I can do a quick clean up and floor is safe for him to crawl on. I didn't find it cleaned much other then light mess and dust I would still have to mop after I think

The wipes did a fantastic job cleaning my floor - I had only mopped the day before, but the dettol wipe still picked up quite a bit of dust and grime from the floor!!! Unfortunately, one of the metal pieces to the mop handle won't connect properly, so I can only use the mop with a shorter handle, which makes it a bit difficult and uncomfortable! However, the wipes can still be used with a normal broom, so I can still make good use of the wipes!

This is my second review. I have use the product a few times now and it is the best floor cleaning product I have used. It is so easy to use and reduces cleaning time. My floors are shiny and my house smells fresh I would recommend this product to my family and friends

This is the second review i have written for this product. This time i used it in my bathroom. I found it easy to get into the small spaces around the toilet which was great. Conveniently comes apart for easy storage in kitchen cabinet which makes it handy for quick clean ups. Still found the actual wipes to be not moist enough but otherwise ok for cleaning bathroom floors. I actually just sprayed the floor with something first to add moisture.

I was so excited to be chosen for this review, and couldn't wait to use it when the packaged arrived (a short time ago, and after my 15 month old had played with the box first). The mop part came in four individually wrapped pieces. Assembly was quite easy. The wipes easily go onto the mop head. I worry that the slots that hold the wipes in place on the top of the head are not built for longevity, but only time will tell. It was easy to put the wipe in place. The first swipe with the system was amazing, good cleaning power, but after that, I found that I had to apply a lot of pressure to get the wipe to work on subsequent swipes. In fact, I had to put more pressure than I would a normal mop. Thus I am not sure that this is a useful system at all. I was disappointed by this. If however you only had a small area to clean up, then perhaps this is beneficial to you - rather than the entire room for example. I then took the wipe off and continued to clean by hand as there is much more wipe that you don't use on the mop head. And wow, these WIPES are amazing. Great cleaning power and smells absolutely amazing. I found the wipes to be very good at cleaning, but on the mop head not so effective after more than one swipe. Time will tell if this will grow on me.

great for spot cleans but i found the pads a little dry. i have had to squirt cleaner on the floor to assist. it may be that my pack was a little dry I am not sure. but i do still lvoe the product.

Our house is mostly tiled with slate, and this product was of no use on this surface at all (you said to be honest) .. however we had great results on the ceramic tiles bathroom floors!

I found this product quick and easy to use. It was lightweight and left the floors looking fresh, clean and smelling great. The only drawback for me was that the napkin did not stay moist for long enough. I have large floor areas of both cork and tiles and I needed several napkins to complete the job. I have always liked using Dettol products for my home as they are good value and safe for my family - however I would prefer to use this cleaning product via a mop, rather than a napkin-wipe system.

I have a small kitchen ,outdoor balcony laundry and bathroom all have different surfaces bathroom is tiled ceramic kitchen has vinyl tiles laundry is ceramic tiled balcony is cement just been painted on my balcony i have a air con compressor which water dribbles from i have to clean it up.I found dettol floor cleaning system smells great makes me feel i got rid of all bacteria dust and marks on all surfaces it is so handy to use and easy also.you wont be disappointed if you invest in one .I dont mind the cost of refills as i know it do's a great job on all my floors thank you so much i was able to reveiw this product and once again dettol is number one in my eyes.It just zipps around corners fits under washing machine so i can keep under neath clean and smelling great thank you

Overall its okay. Its great for quick spills but not for mopping your whole floor. The wipes dry up within seconds. cant go wrong with it though for a quick clean tiny up and a nice quick clean smelling shine but don't expect to use it to actually mop your kitchen floors without having to reverse or change the wipe itself often (which becomes expensive!) The handle is okay in length not the greatest for anyone around 5'7 or taller the bending can get to your back. i still own one and will still use one, but only for a quick clean, or keep to help teach my children to help out with chores around the house, They love it! and actually fight over who's turn it is! i will say for that it is great as if you have little ones wanting to help clean up you can adjust the handle to make it little kid size appropriate and they can involved with ease!

I have been using this system for a few months now. I really love the ease and convenience of this for small spills/cleans. Works much better on tiled floors than lino. It is not good for those stubborn caked on floor stains, nor for doing large areas. Smells great, spruces up a room quite quickly before guests arrive.

I find it good for very small areas. I have cork floors and a crawling baby, so I like to keep it hygienic and clean for him. I found the wipes not wet enough and the floor has to be mostly clean before use. If you had mopped earlier that day, it is perfect for touch ups but only for a small circumference, and my home is a big open space and all cork flooring. I add a little water to make the wipes more moist and it worked a lot better. The smell is amazing and fresh. I feel at ease letting my son crawl on the floor after a quick touch up with the dettol floor cleaning system.

Hi I didn't get picked for this review but decided to buy and give a try. I was please to but the system for half the normal price at 10 dollars thought I would see if it actually works. It was simple to put together and the cleaning wipes are easy to access and actually smell great leaving the house smell great although I would suggest use for small areas and smaller homes as the wipes do dry out fast and really expensive changing wipes to get the whole house done and the wipes are to expensive and it's not something you could afford to use on a daily basis great for quick clean ups as I found it doesn't work well on the wooden floors better on the tiles and a choice of different scents in the wipes would be good and to be able to buy bulk pks to bring cost down

We used this while staying in a holiday house. On vacating we were required to mop floors and this was what we were required to use. I found the system easy to operate and it glided along the floating floor boards with ease to start of with, but i found the more it was used the drier the wipe got which made the mop stick and not glide easy. It appeared to clean well and left no horrible residue that we could see. It was easy to dispose of the dirty wipe.

I liked this product, thought it was a fantastic idea especially with young childern in the house. Unfortunately it didn't live up to my expectations. I found the wipes to dry out extremely quickly & would have to replace 3-4 for each use.

I have had this system since they first came out. I do believe that I have reviewed it before on here but I am lost as to find my review. Any how I DO FIND THIS SYSTEM GOOD FOR FAST CLEAN UPS but I am a little surprised that they have not changed the workings of this unit...ok well maybe not that surprised as that would mean a total over haul and scrapping their design and that's something I can't even see happening with a large company like Dettol (Reckitt Benckiser.) I find that when using the (mop) system for a considerable amount of time, swivelling around the actual handle unscrews and I have to stop and tighten it which I find annoying. Also if you hit a really dirty in-bedded stain you actually have to push very hard on the unit or actually use another cloth by hand to remove the mark/mess. These wipes are also very expensive and I have found out long ago that I can use my no name brand anti bacterial wipes in their place even if they are smaller I simply use two and still the cost is cheaper than the dettol ones.

Did not work well on timber floors nor tiles at all. Does not pick up dirt well and dries too quickly. Leaves dust ans dirt as it touches the surfaces.

i did find they lost there stick after a while and to do our floor i needed about 78900082 packets. get for tidy ups but id rather buy the coles $5.00 packs of 1000 wipes and use my hand

On first impression of the mop it was easy to put together and attach the wipe. I liked that the handle broke down into smaller pieces so storage in a kitchen cupboard was handy. The wipes also smell relatively nice not chemically. Upon using the mop I found the wipes to be not moist enough and couldn't mop more than 4-5 floor tiles before it was dry. This meant I either had to constantly replace wipe with new one or wet the wipe with water which then would reduced its antibacterial qualities. I also found the dettol mop to be not very good at getting marks off the floor without hard scrubbing. I found it far easier and less time consuming to get out my steam mop to be honest. My tiles are Matt large floor tiles so maybe this is the issue. My next test will be bathroom floor and see how it goes

I didn't like the wipes they we're quick dry I would wipe the floor and a second later it was not wetting the floor .It works OK if u add more liquid and it is east to glide but I wouldn't recommend them

It does a great job of cleaning up the odd spot, but really it's not worth the money! It's cheaper to just buy a mop and do the whole floor. If however, you need something that is easy to grab and clean up a quick spot, then this is the product for you. I got it cause I was inspired at the thought of being able to just whip something out and clean up a spot the minute my daughter had made a mess, but I honestly found it an expensive wet wipe. I would suggest putting stronger wearing wipes in the product and making them useable for more than just a small area, also the pole needs to be a bit stronger and maybe a little longer? It just did not have a great feel, maybe a swivel head? That would be great. A product for a mum who has money to spare and likes throw away items that she can use quickly, not for me!

have received product my first mistake after using scissors to open postal pack, remove plastic pieces from the handle bits then I cut across floor wipes bag then read directions for floor wipes usage - 1 Pull back the resealable cover - looked at the mop green rubber cushioning and thought why would you pull that back. If the white pull back area of the wipes bag was outlined in a different colour to the actual bag I may have noticed it. I have folder back the top area of the wipes bag and sticky taped it closed. Have never used anything before that you have an area to peal back then reseal I am learning to ask someone else their understanding of the wording When I get to use them I will give my honest opinion as I love Dettol products
