Review: Colgate® ProClinical® C250 Electric Toothbrush

Sorry guys just worked out how to put my personal pic story of my trial on so I'll attempt another go of trying to show you how much I love this toothbrush! It has taken over my busy life with crazy pics of a simple yet mundane task and has given everyone of my friends and family a giggle everyday trying to get a pose with it! Hope you've joyed it as much as I did and look forward to many more exciting trials to come in the future!

This ia a great toothbrush, and the timer is fantastic for showing my kids how long to brush for. I didn't even half to tell my 10 year old to brush tonight she did it all by herself.

So its been a few weeks now and im still loving the my colgate electric toothbrush. The sonic wave element is fantastic!! I can feel that it is actually working and getting in all the tricky spots and using it in conjuction with colgates whitning toothpaste has bern working a treat. Ive even had people comment on how clean and white my teeth are which is no doubt the whitning toothpaste aswell. The body is extremely light and easy to handle, it sits well on the dock and doesnt lose any power whilst in use. I would have no problem recommending it to family and friends.

I am normally a bit hesitant of electric toothbrushes as I figure that i can do just as good of a job with a normal toothbrush but WOW!! The sonic wave is amazing, it pulses throughly as im cleaning my teeth and i can feel it flicking any minute bits of food away from my gumline. Its very stylish snd easy to operate. I love the 2 minute timer aswell.

What can I say, it was charged straight out of the box. This is a nice compact toothbrush that is simple to use and not fussy like some other brands. The cover is genius and I plan to use it when we travel. I have already purchased extra brush heads as my two young girls were also desperate to use it. Loving this product.

It leave your mouth feeling cleaner.I would recommend it for everyone to use.

I was really impressed with the Colgate ProClinical C250 Electric Toothbrush from the moment I took it out of its packet. It is unlike any other electric toothbrush: VERY light, small and will definitely be included in my toiletry bag next time I travel. The brush itself is very effective yet gentle on teeth, ideal for people with receding gums like myself. It also has an inbuilt timer for brushing different areas, which is especially great for kids learning how to brush their teeth properly. I am impressed, and strongly recommend this convenient and effective toothbrush. A+

The Colgate® ProClinical® C250 Electric Toothbrush was remarkable it felt like I had just come from the dentist with a deep in between clean, I love the colour black and I love how light it was and easy to move around the mouth. I love the 2 minute timer and how my teeth and gums felt really clean .I would recommend the Colgate Proclinic to my family and friends

So far I am loving this toothbrush. It is much more lightweight and feels like a "real" toothbrush. I love the 30sec timer and the cut off after 2 mins. I think this would be perfect for my children who even though there is a timer on their current toothbrush they still ask "is it time yet?" I also love how it comes with a cover, so much nicer to take with you on overnight trips and . My teeth also feel nice and polished

I missed out on the trial so I spoke to my dental hygienist about its benefits and bought one. She takes measurements and records them. At my next consultation she informed me that my teeth had actually improved, something that many people don't achieve.

I just bought my new electric tooth brush from Coles and have to say I am not a huge fan of electric toothbrushes at all. However this one I have to say I feel is the best I have ever tried! It really does clean my teeth well and it's not too harsh on my gums either. Having sensitive teeth I don't like abrasive things on my teeth but was pleasantly surprised with this brush. I will probably recommend it to others or keep the delight of this brush to myself :)

In the past 12 months I have had four root canals, three extractions and many fillings. I brush twice a day and floss daily. I had used electric toothbrushes before but they felt cumbersome and didn't do a particularly good job. It just felt like the lazy way out. The ProClinical was not at all what I was expecting. In a good way! It was super light and more powerful than anything I had ever tried. In fact, at first, I couldn't brush consistently for the two minutes on timer because I just wasn't used to the vibration, but man did my teeth feel clean! Even the few areas that I find really difficult to reach felt great! While brushing I felt like I was having a professional clean by a dentist. After my raving over the past week, my husband has asked me if I can buy him one. Hats off to this little beauty. Hopefully a clean bill of dental health for me next visit!

This is my second review and 11 days later I'm still loving this electric toothbrush .It's very compact( including the charger) , light and easy to manoeuvre. My teeth feel so much cleaner I wish I made the switch a long time ago. Love the 2 minute timer. I must admit I probably wasn't doing quite 2 minutes of cleaning before I trialled this.So I particularly love this feature .All in all I can't fault this product and I would say yes go out and buy one. You won't be sorry.

I was so excited to receive this in the mail. I must admit I've been cleaning my teeth about 4 times a day as I love the clean, shiny feel I'm left with afterwards. It's nice and light and easy to manoeuvre. The charger is also nice and compact . I loved it so much I bought new heads at the supermarket for the family to also try it. Never had kids so keen to brush their teeth. So easy to quickly change heads for the next user. I noticed it retails for $60 and $17 for two head replacements. Well worth the money in my eyes. I've only had it a few days but believe my teeth are already whiter. I think you could definitely not clean your teeth as well with a Manuel toothbrush. Would definitely recommend it to anyone.

After trialling this product for a week and a half, and deciding that it was a great toothbrush for the whole family to start using, I decided to purchase some additional brush heads during a recent trip to Coles. After researching the options online first, I was hoping to get two of the 'sensitive' brush heads for our two eldest daughters (6yrs & 4yrs) and then another two of the 'Triple Clean' brush heads (the one that comes standard with the unit) for my husband and myself. When I got to the dental section of the supermarket, I was disappointed to find that there was only one option to purchase when it came to the Colgate ProClinical range (and numerous options for the Oral B range). Although the toothbrush is marketed as having two brush head options, there only seems to be one available to purchase (the sensitive brush head is not a stocked product). And although the toothbrush is also marketed as having 4 different coloured brush heads (blue, green, light grey & dark grey) to enable multiple family members to use the same base, the replacement brush head packs do not allow you to see what colours are in the packet (of 2). So my $17 spend on a two-pack of the Triple Clean brush heads resulted in me getting a duplicate of the light grey colour we already had (along with a new green colour). I think that Colgate have done well to manufacture and market different brush head options & to have different coloured brush heads for various users, but there seems to be a problem in the availability of the products for consumers. Our local Coles stock both the black and the white model of the C250 (as well as two other Colgate ProClinical electric toothbrushes) but don't currently stock the full range of accessories. This is a little frustrating from a customer point of view, as it limits our potential use of the electric toothbrush to two members of the household only. So I would encourage Colgate to be pushing for the big supermarkets to stock the 4 pack of replacement brush heads, and also the Sensitive brush head which is better suited to children. Perhaps just a local issue.....not sure.....but worth the feedback nonetheless.

I have never used a electric toothbrush before and I am really happy with the results :) Felt like I had just been to the dentist for a scale and clean . My teeth and gums have never felt so clean, I loved the2 minute timer and the soft bristles and it was so light to use I will be recommending the Colgate Proclinic to family and friends and I love the colour Black

We have been actively reviewing this toothbrush for a week now. Three people in our household are using it on a daily basis, and we are still yet to recharge it!!! As per the instructions, it was charged overnight when we first received it, but it hasn't needed to be plugged back in since. This has been a nice surprise, as now I know that we can take it away on weekends or short breaks without the need to cart the charger around with us (or be in the vicinity of a power outlet). Another note-worthy aspect of a great product.

The more we use this toothbrush, the more I like it. I have noticed that this electric toothbrush is more effective at removing food stuck between teeth than a manual toothbrush. We try to get our kids to floss as well as brush, and I have noticed that the toothbrush is removing things that normally only get dislodged by dental floss. As an example, our daughter found that the electric toothbrush removed strands of pineapple that she didn't even realise were stuck in her teeth. She usually finds she needs to use dental floss after eating pineapple, but perhaps not now that the toothbrush she is using is more effective at cleaning between her teeth.

Ok. So we're now 3 days into trialling this product and these are my observations so far: 1) The standard toothbrush head that came with the unit seems too big for our daughters. Our 6yo has a narrow jaw, and the width of the head makes it difficult for her to brush her teeth effectively without dribbling all down her front. This is quite possibly due to her still 'learning' how to brush with an electric toothbrush, and may improve with time. I also recall there being two different head options, so perhaps the alternative one is better suited to little mouths??? 2) I have had a mixed reaction from our 4yo who wants to use it one day, but not the next. I think we are experiencing issues with it being "ticklish" on her gums & a sensation that she needs to get used to before it becomes a preferred method of brushing. 3) I have personally been very impressed with both the design and the clean that I get from this product, as an adult user. It is much lighter & less bulky than previous electric toothbrushes I have used in years gone by. 4) The only thing I'm undecided on is the timer function. Whilst I understand the reasoning behind encouraging people to brush for longer & more thoroughly, I have found that the children need to spit into the sink numerous times during brushing and the 30 second timer intervals just don't help. Time is lost in them starting & stopping the brushing process, so the end result doesn't end up being 30 second per quadrant & a full 2 minutes of brushing. And if you need to stop the unit temporarily during brushing, the timer resets itself. So I find this an annoying, rather than helpful, feature.

This toothbrush is brilliant. It is such a little pocket-powered device. I just took it away on holidays with the kids over the holidays and I didn't need to use the charger once. Although I did take it just in case. I had to go get another one as the kids were fighting over it. It seems that this brush is a definite game changer for our household. Miss 5 and 9 love it. I have also seen my hubby eyeing it off and he has been a fan of a competitive brand for years.

A little terrifying using the Colgate ProClinical the first time as the vibrations were so powerful, I couldn't actually feel where the brush was on my teeth. It took a week to learn how to get an effective clean as I found that the vibrations distracting, causing me to miss spots. I really have to look in the mirror as I am brushing and concentrate closely on the task. After a week of use, I seem to have less plaque and I'm getting that just cleaned by the dentist feel. The 30 second beep is good, although I wish there was a double beep for the last 30 seconds, as once again, I really have to concentrate more than a regular toothbrush. A full charge of the toothbrush lasted at least a week, and I actually preferred that the vibrations became slower as the battery ran down. My only gripe is that the toothbrush is so wobbly on the charging stand, I know I'm going to be forever knocking it over accidentally. I will definitely continue using the toothbrush, and continue with my new regime of brushing for 2 minutes and more effectively removing plaque.

I have used an electronic toothbrush before but not for a few years. They have improved so much and leave your teeth very clean and smooth. They work in between and i would highly recommend this Colgate ProClinical C250 Electric Toothbrush. It looks nice and neat on my bathroom cabinet and even has a handy cover for when you go away. Highly recommended, next is to teach my youngest son about an electronic toothbrush to help get his teeth clean twice a day.

This toothbrush is the best I have ever used. The timer is very handy and my teeth feel exceptionally clean afterwards. I can also easily brush while taking care of my 1yr old.

I have probably purchased about 5 electric toothbrushes in the past two years. I have always struggled trying to make my teeth feel clean and I finally tried the pro clinical and it's a lot easier than any other electric toothbrush. My teeth feel a lot cleaner. The price wasn't the cheapest but I'm glad I purchased it.

I bought this product being sceptical at first. After the first use I immediately noticed the difference. The brush has nice soft bristles which are perfect for sensitive teeth and gums. The product itself is lightweight and slim in design making it an ease to hold and control. I also thought the two minute timer was a cool feature to include.

A big WOW to my first proper electric toothbrush! Thank you Colgate for making it so slim, easy to use & powerful.....actually maybe a bit too powerful. The first time I used it, I was surprised by how strong the vibrations were. It was great when the brush was brushing my teeth, however when I went to move it from top teeth to bottom or anywhere else in my mouth, if the brushes missed & I got the hard part on my teeth instead, it really was quite hard Have given it a few goes now & gotten used to the speed of it. It's great how you don't have to re-charge it all the time! Cute toothbrush! I'd always wanted to try electric, but had always been put off by the price of the brush initially + subsequent refills

Having used the electric tooth brush now for a couple of weeks now, I am getting used to the vibrations & not knocking my teeth on it nearly as much now. The battery stays charge for a long time, a week or so, which is fabulous! The clean mouth feeling that I am left with after I brush is truly amazing, it just feels so much cleaner than with a manual brush. I will never go back ! LOL I am very happy with the toothbrush and would highly recommend it to family & friends alike. It is an amazing product that will leave your mouth feeling so much more cleaner after a brush. It's light, portable, with a long battery life so you only need charge it once a week or so, a fabulously powerful brush that leaves a fantastic smile behind!

It's taken a little while to get used to not having to put so much effort to brushing my teeth. Having used a manual toothbrush for so long, the automated are the way to go! Highly recommended!!

Yesterday we went to the dentist for a checkup and she was impressed by how clean ny daugters teeth were. Some medication she is on causes an increase in build up and discolouration to her teeth but since she's been using the Colgate ProClinical there has been a huge visible improvement. I can't recommend this toothbrush enough.

I opened this package and was a bit dubious that it would give me a complete clean. I charged it, took no time at all. Put my product on it and I was amazed. I observed the result after the clean - I was surprised by the reflection. Everyone had to wear sunglasses when I smiled. I trialed he good old fashioned way - manual. This literally blew it out the water. Highly recommended.

Unusually never used an electric toothbrush, I was pleasantly surprised at he effort needed to use it, or the lack of effort. If you use the same amount of effort that you're accustom to you'll notice a distinct difference. The small head and narrow design make it easy work to brush. No removable batteries are a welcome feature as is the simplicity of charging dock. Small issue to be noted the stability of the "docking port" could be improved with a wider base and the replacement heads in a variety of quantity, rather than a single choice of 4 per pack,slightly pricey: and different head sizes would be a positive move. Other than that no issues a positive experience, and aesthetically pleasing as well.

whilst the design is slim and sleek, I felt the untrasonic vibrations too much for me and ended up using it like a normal tooth brush with out it switched on. the noise in my mouth was a bit too loud. maybe I am too sensitive to it. The charge was quick so was ready to use without too much of a wait.

I was seriously so excited when my toothbrush turned up in the post. I can't tell you how long o have been looking for a decent toothbrush and I have never actually used an electric toothbrush myself... Plus I hate the dentist. With a vengeance! So this could be for me :) On first appearances the toothbrush is unassuming. Definitely light, easy to manoeuvre, comfortable. I turned it on and it seemed to have a good strength but not overwhelming. Good first impression! My 10 year old was my first Guinea pig which in hindsight probably wasn't the wisest move but it just happened his bedtime was first. He jumped a mile and screeched when I turned the toothbrush on but was laughing.... Took a minute and we had another hour but he couldn't stop laughing! Strangely he said he liked it even though he couldn't bare it for more than a few seconds at a time. I washed and dried the toothbrush for my own use and in a split second I got where he was coming from. That toothbrush is not comfortable on initial use- the best way I can describe it is a "nails on a chalkboard" type feeling... It's hard to take initially, especially on the front teeth. It's cringe worthy. With a bit of perseverance I managed the prescribed timeframe but wow. Your cheeks vibrate and buzz and the feeling is unnerving. On a positive there is no doubt this toothbrush cleans well and whilst my gums bled on the first use it wasn't ongoing- I think my mouth just went into shock! Used regularly I'm sure I would get used to it and I doubt there could be a better clean and polish outside a dental surgury My son LOVES this toothbrush and given he has sensory issues I'm suprised but he says he loves how "shiny" his teeth are! I might need to buy a couple of these brushes and fingers crossed its worth the cringe factor in the long run!

The toothbrush was ok for a cheap to average priced electric toothbrush. When i compare it to other electiric toothbrushes i have used it was not the best. I just didnt get that 'just from the dentist clean' feeling. I felt that the bristles were too soft and would have prefered harder ones.
