Review: Aveeno Baby Dermexa Wash

I always test products on myself before trying on my son. If it's no good for me then it is definitely no good for my son. Both of us have very sensitive skin and a lot of products cause eczema so I was surprised that I didn't get any breakouts. Dermexa wash and moisture cleans without being harsh and makes the skin feel so soft. If you don't like strong smelling fragrances this is definitely for you as it has a natural and gentle smell of oatmeal.

My son is currently 6 months old, and suffers from some mild eczema on the face and general itchiness on the skin. With using the wash and moisturiser, it hasn’t flared up the skin - in fact I feel like it’s improved the texture and my baby doesn’t seem to be scratching as much. Previously we were using another popular brand of baby wash which was meant to be gentle on skin, however it caused my bub a lot of issues. I quite like the texture of the moisturiser too. I would highly recommend using this Aveeno combo.

I received the Aveeno Baby Dermexa Wash to trial along with the accompanying Dermexa moisturiser. The wash comes in a 236ml with a lid where you depress one side to open it. With the heat of summer, my son’s eczema has started flaring up so I’m excited to try this with him and see how he goes.

I have loved trialing the Aveeno Dermexa on my 9 month old son who has eczema prone skin. We use prescription corticosteroid cream for flare ups and avoid all soaps and regular moisturizers as they irritate his skin. We have had no issues using the wash in his bath, in addition to the QV bath oil and have found it cleans his skin well. There is no scent and feels nice on his skin. After the bath I have been applying the moisturizer all over and his skin feels soft. It has not triggered his eczema at all and I would definitely purchase this product again. I have also been using the wash on my 2.5 year old who has sensitive skin and have also had great results

We have used Aveeno Baby products in the past, along with their other products and the Dermexa range fits in wonderfully. The wash is thick and soothing, without containing lots and lots of soap which can be irritating. This followed by the moisturising cream is a match made in heaven. The cream is thick yet goes on the skin smooth. There isn’t a horrible greasy feeling after and it absorbs nice and quickly.

If your child has rough skin or dry spots! Go buy this now. My daughter has eczema on her tummy these products made it soft in one go. I love them so much. Seriously mums go buy this product 10/10

This product is a life saver specially if your baby has dry skin. It is almost incredible how moistures skin after just a couple of uses! Bit pricey but worth it

Aveeno is a brand I trust to deliver products that don't irritate the children's skin, or our skin. I found the Dermexa wash to be gentle on the skin, gives a thorough clean and doesn't cause any redness it itchiness. The skin is left soft and smooth and well hydrated. I love that Aveeno products are formulated with naturally active ingredients and are soothing and calming on dry or sensitive skin.

My son and daughters dermatitis has gotten so much better after using this over this past week. I’m so happy I got to trial this

Highly recommend Aveeno Baby Dermexa Wash & Aveeno Baby Dermexa Moisturising Cream! My son's skin has been up & down trying to find a gentle & consistent wash & moisturiser.. This is it! It instantly showed results from the first bath & moisturising. My son's skin is immaculate & i constantly get compliments from other people on how clear his skin is. My new go to.. 10/10!

I can’t recommend this highly enough, my daughter has had extremely sensitive skin from 4 months of age; now 2 years old. I was reluctant to try yet another product on her skin as she has been through the ringer with breakouts of eczema and rashes caused by products. However from the moment I laid eyes on the packaging even, I felt at ease. Something about the packaging/design is even calming. Both products smell is subtle, but also really lovely. It does not have the yucky soapy/lotiony smell most other brands have. I tested the moisturiser on myself first, my skin immediately absorbed it. It immediately felt silky and supple. This is when I decided it was okay to try on miss 2. During our nightly shower, miss 2 was excited, opened the wash and lathered it all over her body. She said ‘ niceeee soap ‘ ‘more soap, smell nice’. No reaction. Began applying moisturiser, miss 2 loves being independent so she rubbed it all over and begged for more and more. I honestly have never felt skin so soft. I liken it to a fresh newborn. So perfect. Over the next week it was a daily routine, wash, moisturise, nappy, PJs, bed. Not a single red mark, it actually cleared up some of her existing eczema. I’m incredibly happy with these products. I will continue to use Aveena Dermexa on my children, and recommend to any parent who needs help clearing skin issues, but doesn’t want the nasty chemicals of prescription steroids and alike.

Very often my daughter has a reaction to bath washes and moisteriser, the Aveeno Seemed a has absolutely change our bath time. My daughter no longer rashes after a bath or becomes itchy and annoyed. I now reccomend these products to all my friends and family. My elderly Grandmother now uses it also and it has improved her skin amazingly.

I have been using this product now and my baby’s skin in no longer dry and is soft again like a baby. I am glad I go to truly this product as it has changed my baby’s skin. The baby wash combined with the baby skin cream in a great combo for my son and even me as I suffer from dry ruff hands until I started using these products

I have always been an Aveeno fan and this works well for my daughter who frequently gets excema patches on her skin. Along with the soothing cream - Aveeno dermexa is gentle on the skin but soothes and relieves itching as well. It is a great product that doesn’t need a prescription and is an affordable option. I always have this on hand to use frequently.

This works great for eczema prone skin.Cleans well without drying out the skin.My babies skin has improved so much after using this.Highly recommend.

It was wonderful to receive Aveeno Baby Dermexa Wash and being able to try on my baby son. Feeling a bit anxious as my son has sensitive skin l started to use it during bath time and l noticed he not only enjoyed it on him but it seemed gentle, soothing and moisturising on him. I then placed the Aveeno baby moisturising cream on him and his skin felt soft and gentle on him. Was quite happy with the results.

This product has been great for my son and even me. My son suffers from eczema and I have struggled to find a product that I can use on him with making it worse but in fact this has helped his skin and has made my skin softer while I bath him. I would and have recommended this product for other mums and bubs that I know.

The new aveeno dermexa baby wash and cream are the bomb! My son's all have eczema, this leaves their skin feeling so Soft and smooth. I will be buying more of this as soon as I run out. A product that I would recommend to anyone.

I remember when Aveeno first broke out into the mainstream market and it’s funny how after trying a few bath washes and moisturising creams, it’s become one of our favourites. Aveeno Dermexa is soft on the skin and effective with daycare and play dirt marks. I also have mild eczema so use the same soft and sensitive washes my three year old does. What I love is that we don’t have to moisturise each and every time as the body wash is so moisturising.

Such a great product, my daughter being half indigenous, has dry knees, and elbows and this was so great for that. She also has sensitive skin like myself, and this product helped her with that too. I couldn't recommend this product enough! All mums should try it!

I was after the product which doesn't have sodium leural sulphate in it and after searching I found aveeno no soap wash. I used it and I am loving it. Not just thing I left my bub skin and scalp soft and neat.

After testing for a week in the bath & home I have found her skin to be smoother & appearing more vibrant! She also seems happy for me to apply the moisturiser as it spreads on the skin with ease. have been using this for a little while now and i find it leaves my child's skin very soft and smelling so clean, he seems to like it to and has a great night sleep after bath every night. Aveeno has always come out with amazing products and i love to use all of them from baby to adult. they feel great on the skin and smell so fresh. i will be recommending this product to all my friends and family so that they can feel as great as us.

Love that it contains natural colloidal oatmeal. Suitable for eczema prone skin. It moisturises and soothes dry, irritated skin which is amazing because my bub has sensitive skin Love that it has no added parabens or phthalates, fragrance and dye free and also soap free

Really impressed. My 6m old and 4yo (with skin issues) currently use a leading brand from chemist, and I was shocked that both the body wash and particularly the moisturiser, actually seen to reduce dry skin more than the one we were using. The cream absorbs so fast and leaves a silky non sticky finish. The smell is natural and neutral, and it rubs in quickly.

This product is amazing, gave my baby soft fresh shin every time!

I have been using the Aveeno Dermexa wash and moisturiser on my 2 year old son and my 6 year old daughter and we have all been loving it! The formula is gentle and soothing on their eczema prone skin and i have found that it has help heal their existing flare-ups. The lotion is a lovely texture-not to heavy- and is very easy to apply and absorbs relatively quickly. Very much recommend and will repurchase.

My baby has a severe eczema and he was on and off using cortisone cream as well as other different range of skin care products with no result. I was a bit sceptical at the beginning but willing to try it and it worked!! My baby's skin started to heal and became smooth every day

Such a gorgeous product. Leaves baby smelling sweet, clean and fresh. That lovely new baby smell. So gentle on baby's sensitive skin, doesn't dry it out at all. Very economical as a small amount goes such a long way. MY older kids use this too as they have particularly sensitive skin and it works just as well for them. Not the cheapest to buy, but not the most expensive either. I don't mind paying a little bit extra for a product and brand name that I know I can trust, wash after wash

We tried so many different products and nothing worked but this. So glad they have it readily available at woolies and chemist warehouse and I don't have to order it online. Very happy with it keeping my baby's skin soft and smooth after consistent use. We use it morning and night and sometimes another coating because his skin is dry.

As a first time mummy I had to resort to lots of trial and error with lots of brands and products just to see what would work on my lil bubba. I finally found it using Aveeno, the Dermexa Wash and moisturizer have been a lifesaver for my lil bubba's irritation and redness on his skin. Especially on his face and neck it has done wonders to help reduce and remove the redness and lil pimples!

Totally loved this for my baby and my eldest daughter also used it . She loved it also . Definitely would by again when doing the shopping

The Aveeno baby dermexa has been really easy to lather on my bubs skin and washed off nicely without irritating her skin and/or eyes. It did not dry out my bubs skins either. It has no added parabens and is soap free. However the wash does contain sodium trideceth sulfate, citric acid, sodium benzoate, and a couple of other ingredients so make sure you research what suits your bubs skins. This worked for us so far so good and will keep another review once we have consistently used it for a week ????☺️

We love Aveeno and they are the only skincare products we have tried that do not irritate my eight month old baby. They are so gentle on the skin and smell really good too! We love that we know what all the ingredients are and where they come from. We have used both the dermexa wash and moisturiser and love both!

Having received my trial Aveeno Baby Dermexa Wash I was super excited to try on my little one. I found the wash lovely to use and seemed super soft on bub,s skin. Having suffered from some minor skin issues in the past I was excited to see if Aveeno would be sensitive enough to use everyday. So far I’m very impressed and love giving little massages with the Dermexa moisturiser after the bath. I even think Bub,s is sleeping better!

I love all aveeno products I was lucky to win samples a few years ago and I have purchased it ever since. It leaves a soft creamy feeling on ones skin. When my grandkids were born I was so pleased to purchase Aveeno Baby lotions. The ingredients in this product is safe for all types of skin,young or old.

After almost 2 weeks of using them on my bubs, happy to report it's going well no sensitivities or allergies and I love smelling them so much after their wash..???? hoping to see it go at a reasonable price on supermarket shelves!

My little one's favorite part of the day is definitely his bath time. Apart from making sure water temperature is spot on, I only use products that cleanse and moisturise but gentle for my baby's skin. Having used Aveeno Baby Lotion before on my first baby, I am confident that Aveeno Baby Dermexa Wash can be trusted. After a week of use, I must say it worked really well on my bub's skin and I would recommend this product to other mums out there!

I love how there is no overpowering smell with the body wash and moisturiser. With only having to use a tiny amount of the wash it leaves my baby’s skin feeling so soft. I love how I can use the moisturiser as I get my baby ready for bed and all his flaky baby skin is now gone. Great products that I trust using on my precious baby.

Having used Aveeno Baby Aveeno for the last week I’m more than happy to recommend this to other parents especially those who’s babies suffer from minor skin irritations. I found it gentle on Bub,s skin and had so flare ups while using Aveeno. Soft and gentle. Happy Bub happy Mum.

I was really impressed at the texture which doesn't slide off bub as soon as applied, and the way it didn't dry our bub's skin. My only suggestion for improvement is the scent. It's natural but I'd prefer it smelt more neutral like the cream does. Overall a brilliant product for sensitive skin.

Love and recommend the dermexa wash from Aveeno, so gentle and natural. Love it use it daily on our baby. It's a bit expensive but well worth the price. We were at Dr lately who recommended aveeno dermexa wash and bath oil. Also said getting as much oil in their diet is good. So i definitely will recommend to all the new mommies as i really see my baby skin smooth and silky and no rash or flaring up. Thumbs up and i have always trusted Aveeno with this. If your baby has sensitive skin trust this product and you wont regret it. Im product to choose this product worth every penny.

Aveeno Dermexa Wash provides the gentle car my Daughter’s sensitive skin needs at bath time. The product takes the stress out of the decision of what to use on delicate skin and coupled with moisturiser ensures some defence against nasty irritants. The Dermexa range is a welcome addition to the Aveeno brand for our family.

Great for babies skin and even it own relives irritated skin and softens dry skin would recommend to any parent to try I would purchase this product again and use cleanses without drying and comes in a moisturizer lotion as well

Aveeno baby is a great product. Gentle for babies , provide moistures for my baby irritated skin. My baby has eczema since she was very young and i have been trying different products including strong hydrocortizone. This aveeno maintain the healthy skin without drying the skin out.

Wasn’t the best on my kids compared to other brands.
