Yummy Soup
by mom93821Combined rating
Sadly, I was not chosen to review these yummy soups but have now tried so many of them. I purchased them when they were on special at the local supermarket. I have been very happy with the price of these soups and also with the range of favours and taste of these soups.
Just like homemade soups and so tasty
by mom223151Combined rating
These WOOLWORTHS variety soups are certainly my favourite and no other to beat except my mother's which she took the recipes to her grave with her. These soups are so tasty, great flavours to choose from and of a good sale price when bought in quantities of four. I stock up ever winter every fortnight when I do my shopping. If I do a midweek top up and when they are on sale I will get for sure. Great starter meal or a meal in a hurry.

Good Value, Quick Easy Lunch
by mom115378Combined rating
I have been buying these for my work lunches, they are great filing good variety. A quick easy option for a 1/2 hour lunch break. There is variety in the flavours so I can have something different each day. The fact that I don't need another container for reheating makes it even better. Even good for an afternoon snack when you are on the go and time poor. Highly recommend them

Loved the chicken noodle flavor its was fantastic, fresh, creamy. A explosion on your taste buds. It is now a regular in our pantry.
Malaysian Style Laksa soup
by curlytopsCombined rating
I love the Malaysian Style Laksa soup. It is very tasty and great served over a bowl of pasta too! The colour is a bit bright (yellow) but the flavour is very nice. IT is quick and easy to prepare. I microwaved it and poured it over some left over pasta from the night before and it made a very tasty filling meal for 2 people.
Red Thai chicken soup
by curlytopsCombined rating
I find the Red Thai Chicken soup very tasty and full of flavour. The only disappointing thing is there was one.. yes one bit of chicken the side of a 5 cent piece in it. That was annoying but the flavour made up for the disappointment. IT was a good size too.
Yummy & convenient

Yum & simply devine! I tried the Sweet Potato & Pumpkin Soup. So convenient too. Wish it came in a bigger serving.

We love these soups, great for easy dinner or lunch. My favourite is chicken noodle, the perfect medicine when you've been struck down with the dreaded flu. Great value for money especially when Woolworths have there 4 for $10 deal.
Full of flavour and great value!
by mom121347Combined rating
Yesterday I was excited to try my Asian style Chicken & Corn Soup for a quick and convenient lunch during a busy work day. Wow, so full of flavour and so filling, just what I need to get me through a non-stop afternoon. The balance was great and was pretty close to the style of soup I've had many times before in Asian restaurants. I did however find a small bone in my soup :( there is a warning on the tub, stating there may be small bones left behind even with extreme care taken during processing. Even with the warning I was still disappointed to find a bone in amongst my soup. While this wont prevent a purchase in the future it definitely does push my preference to the vegetable based soups to avoid this again.
Woolworths fresh soups, so much variety!
by mom121347Combined rating
I went to purchase my Woolworths Fresh Soup yesterday and was so surprised to see the variety available in my local store! Not only did they offer traditional flavours like Pea & Ham but I was excited to flavours like Red Thai Chicken and also the Quinoa varieties! Like many working mums, my lunch is usually a quick sandwich, a piece of fruit or quite often, nothing at all. I decided to purchase my old favourite, Asian style Chicken & Corn Soup and I'm excited to see how it tastes. For the $3 price tag this will definitely be a lunch option I try again.
Yum!
by mom198472Combined rating
I was really impressed with the soup. I tried the Asian Chicken and Corn soup. I chose to have it for a fast lunch on a busy day. The soup looked good and you could see lots of chicken and corn in it. It tasted great. It was not too salty but it was really filling. Would definitely buy this soup again and look forward to trying more varieties.
Love, love, love these
by mom143044Combined rating
We absolutely love these soups. We have tried nearly all of them, with the favourites being the Potato & Leek and the Pumpkin. We have found they are convenient and the bigger size packs are perfect for my hubby and I to share. They are great for the nights where we can't be bothered cooking (usually the nights we get home late from after school sports). Great with some fresh bread or rolls. Definitely will continue to buy them. Quick, easy, convenient and tasty.

The Woolworths fresh soup have been my favorite item so far to review. They are now a weekly staple in our home, especially the chicken noodle and minestrone. They are filled with real meat and veges and always taste so yummy. Such a quick and easy lunch for this busy Mum who often didn’t have time to eat properly before.

Woolworths range of soups are perfect for me. They have a wide range of flavours, many of them under 300kcals, which is good for watching the waistline. I enjoy them for my lunch at work, and often stock up to feed my family at home. I'm loving the Thai red curry and the potato and leek. Just two minutes in the microwave with a bread roll and you are ready to go!

Tasted great, was much better than I had expected. Will definitely get them again.
easy to heat
by curlytopsCombined rating
I like these soups as they are very easy to heat up and have as a quick lunch, especially as it is so cold at the moment it is a nice warming meal and filling too. In the asian style chicken and corn soup there is 186 calories in the soup which is really good so they are not high calorie so fit well into a calorie controlled diet as 200 for a meal is really good.

I am currently eating the Asian Chicken and Corn Soup and it tastes like the soup you get at a Chinese restaurant on their set menu. It is nice and warming soup on a cold day. Not spicy quite plain so fussy eaters should enjoy too. Very easy to prepare in the microwave or on the hob. Nice served with some warm crunchy rolls.
tastes delicious like home made soups
by mom72304Combined rating
I had a great opportunity to try Minestrone Woolworths Fresh Soup. I really enjoyed it. I could clearly see and tastes all different vegetables, the taste was like I would cook it myself. Unfortunately having very active boy at home doesn't give me much time to cook soups like that, as it does takes some times. I found this fresh soup a great alternative to everyday cooking, It is quick, good for health, fresh, tasty and enjoyable. I went and bought it another one already and put it on my weekly shopping list.
The best soup Ive had ever from a shop

Soup with meat in it.......
by Maria AinscoughCombined rating
I am not a vegetarian but I generally only purchase vegetarian soup, no idea why I just have always been suspicious of soup with meat in it. However I was so intriqued by pea and ham soup that I decided to go outside my comfort zone and give it a go. I am so glad I did. It was delicious, and is easily my new favourite soup. Just enough salty ham to give it flavour and well if you love peas as much as I do this is the perfect soup. A perfect winter warmer and might be enough to make me consider trying other "meat" soups!
Great winter warmers!

I am extremely happy and satisfied with this new soup range by coles, it's so convenient that it comes in two sizes one perfect for a single serve to heat up at work for lunch or a quick winters dinner on the run. And it the bigger sizes so the entire family can enjoy with very minimal effort on the "cooks" part. Love a great quick meal that is not only easy to prepare but packed with flavour.

So Many Nice Varieties

I just had a very bad flu last week and feel that I need some fresh soup for lunch at my first day back to work. I am impressed with the varieties of Woolworth Fresh Soups, from my favouriate Creamy Mushroom to the healthy Pumpkin Soup. I chose Chicken Noodle Soup since chicken soup is good for flu recovery and it's healthy, too. Only 1.6% fat and 0.09% sugar. I am looking forward to try it for my lunch and will post the feel of the taste soon!
Pea & Ham Soup
by mom198450Combined rating
This was the best pea & ham soup I've ever had. The ham was smokey and flavoursom and balanced the peas nicely. It had a nice thick consistency and was easy to heat up. Ready in 3 minutes. The packaging was practical and well labeled.
Completely Delicious

This week I wasn't feeling well and instead of buying takeaway, I went out and bought a few Woolworths fresh soups; pumpkin, minestrone and Malaysian style laksa. The pumpkin soup was so creamy and well seasoned, the minestrone full of real vegetables (and 97% fat free!!!) and the laksa was so yummy with just the right amount of spice. These are definitely staples in our household now.
No bad flavour

I have continued buying these and tried the Laksa and the chicken noodle this week and both were so delicious. They are better than homemade and taste and smell so good. The chicken noodle was particularly good because I was feeling a bit under the weather and it was exactly what I needed that day. I think I have tried all the flavours now, they are all excellent.

Woolworths Microwaveable Plastic Container Soups
by KennethCombined rating
I bought 2 x the small containers and 1 x 1kg which was lamb and Barley which I have to use as it says not to restore in the fridge or reheat. The other two were Sweet Potato, and, Chicken. One removes the small tab on the side of the lid and replaces the lid loosely and then sets the microwave as directed. I liked these soups and will buy again. The idea is good for a quick soup/snack. The Coles ones in a plastic package is not as good of an idea for heating. I can't post a photo at this time as I am yet to get a facility to do that.

We are looking forward to trying the other 2 soups I bought and trying some other varieties.

I went looking for Woolworths Fresh soups in the Deli at the local Woolworths - and couldn't find them. I did the next best thing and purchased 5 varieties of Woolworths snack soups, great value at $1.00 each with my voucher. These will be great for family snacks anyway. Then I discovered the stack of Woolworths Fresh soups at the end of an aisle. I purchased the Sweet Potato and Pumpkin soup and was delighted to see it was "Low Fat". It was such a tasty, full-bodied soup, pleasantly flavoured yet not too spicy for the little ones to enjoy. Good quality and great value for money. If the other varieties are as good Sweet Potato and Pumpkin they will be on my shopping list to try them all.

Woolworths soups are a great lunch option! I work in an industrial area with hardly any options, so it's great to have these on hand when I can't be bothered making lunch. I tried the chicken laksa and chicken and corn - both had a lot of flavour, and we're enough to fill me up to get me thru the arvo. Only thing I don't like is that a lot of soups have a high salt content

Woolworths soups are a really great addition to the Woolworths range. I especially love the chicken and noodle soup. They are easy to heat up and serve as a snack or with bread for a dinner. They are cost effective and an easy go to staple. I would highly recommend the soup range to everyone. Thanks woolies you've done it again, spot on. Awesome
Easy starter for Dinner

I tried the Woolworths Fresh soup of Malaysian Style Chicken Laksa that I bought last Friday as I wanted a quick start to dinner and found it fairly spicy but still very nice to eat and would buy it again. It is so easy to have them in the refrigerator as they have a fairly long life and can be used when in a hurry or just because you feel like it.
Thoroughly enjoyed, highly recommended!

A nice fresh Chicken Noodles soup, with lots of noodles, carrots, chicken, onion, celery and a great tasting chicken soup, great for lunch with some toast and some cracked pepper and a little salt, great for a cold winters day. The price is really good for a fresh soup and very healthy too. 10/10...

Quick start to Dinner
by grayzaCombined rating
Tonight we tried the sweet potato and pumpkin soup which we did not think had enough flavour. I also tried the Creamy mushroom soup which was thick, creamy and had a lot of mushroom pieces in it but I did not like it as much as the Potato and Leek and the Creamy Pumpkin we tried earlier in the week. Today I bought a Malaysian Style chicken Laksa soup and more Potato and Leek ones so looking forward to trying the Laksa and maybe buying and trying some of the other varieties.
Worthwhile

I would purchase this product because they are good value for money. They are better tasting than other brands. They come in a convenient size and a variety of flavors. They are good for lunch during winter and easy to take to work. Yummy in flavor and taste
Closest to home made as you could get!
by Juanita MunroCombined rating
If you love home made soup but just can't nail it on the had then this is what you need to buy! It's the closest to a home made soup as you are going to get.. Woolworths nailed this one on the head & is the best by far from their range of soups I have found! It's creamy, smooth & full of flavour! They are convenient for people like myself that are always on the go & so simple to put together .. Just heat & eat.. It's that simple!
Great Winter Lunch
by Mumma Says SoCombined rating
We buy these regularly in our household as they are a healthy, convenient and warming lunch. My husband enjoys all the Asian inspired varieties but his favourite is Chinese Chicken and Corn. I can't go past the Creamy Pumpkin as it's super creamy and full of flavour. The size of the soups are perfect as a lunch meal for one especially if you add a crusty bread roll. They are so quick to prepare as you just pop them in the microwave in the container they come in and you can eat out of it too. This is great if your taking to work or trying to eat something nourishing on the run with children at home. I highly recommend these as a good lunch or snack in the cooler months.
Very good on a cold night
by mom72072Combined rating
Those nights when you just want something warm and toasty, the Woolworths soups seem to fill the spot quite well. My favourite is the Asian style chicken and corn soup, just delicious! I also had the red chicken curry, and I loved it so much, but I put my mug down and went to the kitchen for less than a minute and found out my dog loved it too!! More than me I think!

Great tasting chicken soup tasting like home made with the nice tasting flavours that are used to when eating chicken.
Hearty, rich and satisfying.
by craftykwCombined rating
I loved this soup. Took a little while to find it in the supermarket as it was near the meat section but once I did find it they were easy to spot. I picked the Sweet Potato and Pumpkin Soup. It was very easy to prepare and I found the finished product thick and creamy and smooth on the palate. It had a rich earthy flavour and tasted natural and not artificial or full of additives. It had a nice hint of spice without being too dominating and was very enjoyable to eat. It was very filling and satisfying and on a cold winter's day was a lovely lunch that hit the spot when I was very hungry and had very little time to stop and eat.

Malaysian Laksa soup
by mom197147Combined rating
Just wow!! I thought this soup was perfect in every way, except that I could have had much more. Perfect flavour, perfect consistency (not too thin), had the right balance of chunky ingredients to soup and was nicely spicy. You could really taste the coriander and the chilli without it being overvearing. Tasted like an authentic Mayalsian street hawker laksa. I will definitely be purchasing this soup again.
Bowls were almost licked clean.....
by SweetSproutsCombined rating
I will start by admitting that I never purchase pre-made soups...cans or packets, as I was chosen to review the Woolworths Fresh Soup this is a new experience for my family who have only tried home made Mums soup. We were all excited about our new trial. I purchased the larger size Creamy Pumpkin Soup 1 ltr, To say I was surprised by the positive comments is not a fib, I thought they would all have preferred my Pumpkin Soup but looks like I have to take second place. Lovely and smooth and creamy (mine has a few lumpy bits it seems) and very tasty. It was a big hit. Easy to prepare on the stove top or microwave. I think as much as my nose is a little out of joint for only coming second, its has also given me a good excuse to not have to work so hard in the kitchen, cutting up veges to make my Pumpkin Soup anymore. Thankyou for the opportunity to give it a go and find a quick easy replacement meal. Sorry, I forgot to take a photo and post, I didn't think empty bowls, almost licked clean would have the same effect. lol
Tasty and good value for money

I bought the Woolworths pea and ham soup and it tasted home made. It is also good value for money and I would buy it again. I would also love to try all the other flavours as there is a good variety of different styles (creamy, plain). They are packaged individually and I am able to grab a pack easily from the fridge and bring it with me to work. It can be easily heated up in the microwave and finished in one sitting. I will definitely recommend this to my friends and colleagues.

I absolutely love these little tubs of soup. My fav has to be the sweet potato and pumpkin. Ive just finished one for lunch actually lol It has a nice little kick to it and is very thick and creamy. Some days I do wish the serve was a little larger on my hungry days though haha The containers are great for storage afterwards too!

Creamy Mushroom - delicious
by Fiona M - The Hills MamaCombined rating
I've been having these Woolworths soups for lunch at work and slowly trying different flavours. The creamy mushroom was a winner! A delicious flavour, I particularly liked that there were nice big mushroom pieces as well as the smaller ones. I forgot to put the container on a plate to microwave but was able to transfer the container onto a plate before removing it from the microwave. Definitely recommend doing this as the steam from the soup can escape and you can easily lose your grip on the container (and lose your soup too!)

Wow. This is a tasty soup that is thick and full of healthy vegetables. It is great if you are trying to diet as it is low fat but very filling. Quick to heat up in the microwave and easy to eat. There are lots of flavours to. Choose from and they are so handy to have in the colder days.
Store brought soup that tasted homemade, well done Woolies!
by angelbabiesCombined rating
Firstly I was impressed with Woolworths flavour range of soups, there were many to choose from for only $3 a serve. In the end I choose the Lamb and Barley which I won't have picked as being store brought, as it tasted homemade! I paired the pot of soup with a cheesy roll which made it a perfect work lunch and very filling. Only taking a few minutes to heat up in a microwave makes these great for travel, work and being a busy mum or dad always on the go. I look forward to trying more of the exciting fresh soup range.
A great range of soups!
by Fiona M - The Hills MamaCombined rating
I love the convenience of these soups. Just heat in the microwave and eat! My mum bought me the potato and leek flavour to try. I will admit this has been my least favourite flavour. A bit bland for my tastes, but it could be that I'm used to the more robust curry flavours. It was nice and creamy though and the texture was great. Can't wait to try out more flavours!

It's a cold day so as soon as I walked into Woolworths I saw the selection of Fresh Soups & couldn't resist buying another one for my lunch today, i've lost count as to how many i've bought, they are so yummy, my favourite is Creamy Pumpkin (or maybe I shouldn't have said what one my favourite is, I wouldn't want everyone reading this post & there be none left next time I go into Woolworths!!) ;-)
A great work lunch option!
by Fiona M - The Hills MamaCombined rating
I love these soups in winter. A wonderful option to take to work for lunch - just pop in the microwave for 3 minutes and you're set! Bring some bread to accompany the soup if you're feeling extra hungry. I bought the Thai Red Curry for this review. I must say that in previous years there seems the be bigger chunks of chicken in it, but the flavour is still delicious. A hint of spiciness. Definitely recommend heating the container on a plate so that you can remove it from the microwave without burning your fingers and spilling it (speaking from experience, my disappointment was extreme to have spilt half my lunch!)
Quick and easy meal.
by youngoldladyCombined rating
Having a meal that can be heated up that the family all love can be hard at times. We buy the family size one , so that we all can enjoy a good meal together served with fresh bread or buns made at home. Some of the soups are used as a base for an other meal, served over rice can be very interest way to go.
Quite a selection
by princessbelleCombined rating
Further to my earlier review on the Asian Style Chicken & Corn Soup, I note there is quite a selection of flavours available. There seems to be Red Thai Chicken, Chicken Noodle, Malaysian Style Chicken Laksa, Minestrone, Asian Style Chicken & Corn, Beef & Vegetable, Creamy Pumpkin, Lamb & Barley, Sweet Potato & Pumpkin, Pea & Ham, Creamy Mushroom and Chicken & Vegetable. They come in two tub sizes - 300g (which would be perfect for a couple, or one big eatter) and the 1kg (which would be perfect for a family). Would go nicely with a side of garlic bread or hot bread rolls. The 300g tub is about $3 and the 1kg tub is $8 (online prices). I look forward to trialing other flavours in the future.
Surprisingly tasty
by princessbelleCombined rating
As a Eurasian I was skeptical that the Asian Style Chicken and Corn Soup would live up to my expectations - but I was pleasantly surprised! Although it's not fantastic like my Nanna cooks, this soup is one of the only ones that would come close to it. The real chunks of chicken and the corn kernels - it's nice and chunky which like like my Nanna's traditional stuff - not fully blended to be a smooth soup. If not near my Nanna - would definitely buy this soup in the future to fill the gap.

I have bought 2 Woolworths Soups & today had the Creamy Pumpkin soup, I must be honest & say I love the Heinz Creamy pumpkin soup so was thinking this soup has to be pretty good for me to like it & buy it again, at first I thought it was a little spicy but it wasn't overpowering so I really enjoyed it & it didn't leave an aftertaste like what I get with the Heinz so I can officially say I have been converted! :-) I will be buying Woolworths Soups again, have only given 4 stars for the value for money because I think they could probably drop down to say $2.50 for me to class it as value for money I can't wait to try my other soup (chicken noodle soup) so my review for that to follow.... Oh & did I mention I made all my colleagues jealous with the nice aroma from the soup? ;-)

I purchased a Woolworths Malaysian Style Chicken Laksa from the Woolworths Fresh Soups Range, and am so glad I did. I am quite partial to soups and Asian flavours, so this soup immediately appealed to me in the store. Upon heating the soup up, my first impression was that it smelt great. My second impression was that the soup was filled with ingredients. Then, I tasted it, and it was delicious! A little spicy but good! I have now found my new go-to work lunch that doesn't cost the earth (I purchased 4 for $10) and am thrilled.

Woolworths Fresh Soup have a great range of fresh soups that have been giving us more and more options over the years. My favourite is the Red Thai Chicken flavour because it has a great curry flavour that isn't too spicy. They are super easy to heat up and the 300ml size is good for one as a meal or two as a side. For the family the larger size containers are great although they don't have the full range of flavours. I find them great to use when you need to whip up something quick for lunch or a snack as you just whack one in the microwave and follow the instructions. Delicious and great value.

My local WW didnt have a lot of choice only 5 but on reading MOM site there are quite a lot.
Authentic Thai Taste

I love the distinctive taste of Thai food so it stands to reason that my first taste of Woolworths soup was Red Thai Chicken. Easy to heat in the microwave and it can be eaten straight from the container if you are at work for instance, or can be served in a bowl and garnished with a couple of slivers of red capsicum for a more sophisticated look! The flavours were delicate and authentic, not too spicy so good for all the family. Love the chicken and vegetables . This soup satisfies hunger pangs and it contains only 200 calories. I added crusty bread for a great lunch.

The container was very hot when getting out of the microwave so extra care and an oven nut helps. There is enough in the container for a good cup of soup. Add some toast as nd it's a good quick meal.

The Beef & Vegetable Soup Fresh Soup by Woolworths is a hearty delicious winter meal, it comes in a convenient container ready to be heated in the microwave. The package is a good size for one serving. The Beef & Vegetable Soup had a hearty and delicious flavour, the soup was filling with winter vegetables and small pieces of beef. Highly recommended for a fast and easy winter meal

Today I tried the Chicken and corn soup and I must say it was fantastic! I am still shocked at how yummy and how the chicken pieces are real and a decent size, not tiny and hard but real chicken pieces! It is not often you can say it was better than home made (and I can cook haha) If I had to pick something to improve it would be the heating instructions, I can't read them, I wear glasses and still struggled, maybe instead of the big corn picture on the top the instructions could go there?

I was so surprised to be chosen to review a Woolworths Homemade Soup Tub. This came at just the right time as I have a cold & feel terrible.I could even taste how tasty this was with a cold. I was expecting it to taste a bit mass produced but it is so like a home made soup,I wish I had the recipe. My only complaint is the ease of opening the tub,it hurt my fingers lifting the tab ,but I guess things cant be made to suit Retired people ,young at heart but loosing some strength in my hands. The cost is a bit high for someone on a limited income but certainly a better & healthier choice than most take away.

I love it. My 2yr old loves and actually asked for more. I also used the red curry for thai curry and rice and added steamed potatoes to the mushroom for my partner. They have sooo much flavour. Couldn't be happier considering my extremely tight budget! Why go anywhere else!

My family ate the Sweet Potato & Pumpkin Soup for dinner the other night by fluke. We were rushing home and stopped in to pick up milk and bread intending to have toast and an egg for dinner when I spied their fresh soups range. My kids picked the sweet potato and pumpkin soup and we all found it very fresh and tasty. It only lasted one meal between us as they asked for seconds but I was more than happy with them eating more of a vegetable soup!

I decided to try the Woolworths Fresh Creamy Pumpkin Soup - First off, I'd like to say that the name completely matches the product. It is creamy (albeit not too much so) and lovely. It's light (not heavy like some 'creamy' soups can be), tasty (not bland like a lot of pre-packaged, supermarket branded soups), and definitely great value for money as $7.99 will get 1 litre of soup - enough to feed the family when you pair it with some fresh buttered bread! The kitchen smelt like I'd made my own soup and it left the family feeling snuggly and warm on the inside, just like soup on a winter's evening should do.
GEE!!!! I HATE DECISIONS

I've been away from home for a few days lately. I know my partner is no slick hand in the kitchen and lucky to boil water correctly, so having to leave him with super easy to prepare meals was a no brainer with the help of Woolies Fresh Soup selection. These yummy soups are just perfect for any Meal and Easy as to prepare, just wack in the Micro and hot delicious soup in no time. (A baby could almost cook its own food) A multitude of flavours to suit all taste buds, and a real home made look and appeal. My biggest decision is 'what variety to choose" gee! I hate decisions, lol

I was pleasantly surprised by the freshness and quality of this soup. I tried the Asian style chicken and corn. It contained actual chunks of chicken and sweet bits of corn, it wasn't salty like some of the other soups I have tried before. Definitely will be buying this again.

So, I enjoyed the Beef & Vegetable so much, I decided to try the Minestrone! As with the previous soup, I was impressed with the overall smell, taste and texture and, Minestrone being an all time favourite of mine, I was not disappointed! However, I will reiterate that I don't feel these soups are filling enough for a meal on their own - with a pile of crusty bread, maybe, but otherwise, they are more like a snack to me. Great variety though, so good to keep a few on hand!

This soup is really tasty, full of flavour and such good value. I love the way the container doubles up as a bowl it makes it easy to take to work without washing dishes afterwards. I think there was more corn than chicken but considering the price I wouldn't expect much more. These soups will certainly be on my shopping list for winter.

AWESOME / PRACTICAL / CONVENIENT / TAaaaasty/Easy to use/have, reeeally Goood Experience, I realy did enjoy the pumpkin and sweet potato, once I mixed it with marinara mix, yuuuummy, so easy and practical cause I had two full days of training workshops and took one with me, and just put it in the microwave for 1.5minutes and voilà had a yuuummy tasty delicious soup for lunch, actually there whore a few people there that ask me what was smelling so nice and I show them the pack and quite a few said they were going to buy it, and surprise/surprise next day there were 3 lady's that actually were having the chicken/veggies, my sister also like it a lot lot cause of same reasons, the small size is so good to take to work and just heat it up, one of the other reasons is all the varieties, different flavours, and they're quite good value for money, very pleased with this soups, very good product/ experience, definitely will continue to buy it, and recommend. (I tried several times to post photos, but not able cause always says size to big, I actually took quite a few photos of how I cooked it/use it, and also on the shops and as well made a little recording video but unfortunately not able to post it for some reason)

Sweet Potato and Pumpkin Soup - Yum!
by mom177208Combined rating
For today's lunch I had the Sweet Potato and Pumpkin soup. I was really looking forward to it as it's generally a flavour I go for in a soup. I used the microwave to heat it up...a few minutes and it was ready - super easy! I toasted some bread to dip into my soup too :) The soup was rich and creamy and a good balance of sweet potato and pumpkin. The ingredients list showed that there was also carrot in it, and I could taste a hint of carrot - just enough to enjoy. It felt like a healthy soup...the vegetable flavour was strong, and the gingery spicy zing was really pleasant. Not too spicy, but enough to give the soup a good kick! I'd definitely try other soups in the Woolworths range as the two I've now tried have both been excellent and I've been left feeling really impressed with a store labelled brand of soup that tastes as good (if not better) than the labelled brands that are more expensive.

Plenty of variety
by mom120171Combined rating
After deliberating for quite a while I went with the Woolworths Lamb & Barley Soup. There was so much variety it was hard to decide! In terms of pre-packaged soups lamb and barley isn't a flavour you often find, plus it was low in fat which was another draw card. I love that the soup was really simple to prepare, just pop the lid and microwave. You can even eat straight from the container if you don't fancy washing up! The soup had a really lovely flavour, with a good consistency and plenty of yummy chunky bits. I can't compare the Woollies soup to other supermarket soups, as I've not tried any, but I'm definitely up for trying more of the flavours in the Woollies range. The price is comparable to other pre-packaged soups and there was also a promotion running whilst I was in store, making them even cheaper. I'd definitely recommend giving them a go, perfect for the cooler weather and a quick, easy meal for the busy mum.

The woolworths range has great variety and is affordable at $3.00 currently, It is on par with competitor brands with the most similar being the coles fresh soup, I tried the pumpkin one for luch today and found it to be far better than the tinned variety but not quite as nice as if you made it from scratch. My daughter loved it to and she is very picky. All around a great affordable lunchtime item, I served it with some turkish toast and a dollop of sourcream.

Woolworths Fresh Soups are delicious! They have that home made taste unlike most other shop bought soups and have already become a favourite in our household and the children like taking them for school lunches warmed up in their thermos mugs. Served up with warm buttery bread this is an easy meal for those cold winter nights.

I have tried most of these soups and they are all have great flavour. Great for taking to work for lunch or for a quick meal at home. Just heat in the microwave and have with some buttered bread. My husband likes to eat these when I'm away as there's no effort involved in heating and eating.
Easy to cook soup

The Asian style Chicken and sweet corn soup was very easy to cook tasted just like I would make it had plenty of chicken and corn very filing for lunch and it does come in a very handy container, I would buy again if you need to have something quick and healthy for lunch.
It's convenient, the kids love it

It was convenient quick easy to use and find in Woolworths. The kids loved eatting it for afternoon tea. The texture and the flavours were better than other brands that I have tried previously. I would recommend these soups as they are delicious.

I bought the Chicken laksa soup as a last minute for dinner one night. I was expecting it to be okay but not fantastic so I was incredibly surprised by the wonderful flavour. Was also impressed with how filling it was. Definitely will try more flavours.
Soup was yum

I found that the soup was rather nice and I loved how the container is microwave safe, so it saves on extra dishes (those dreaded pots haha) I would definitely recommend the chicken noodle soup. All in all, my score would be 4/5 stars, only because I can't say if it's any better or worse than other shops and I feel that the price is mediocre.
Delicious!!

After trying the Malaysian Chicken Laksa & The Chicken Noodle soup I just had to try the Red Thai Chicken soup. I thought this one was amazing, the flavour was awesome and will have to say that it's my favourite so far. Will definitely be purchasing this one again. Next on my list to try is the Creamy Mushroom.

I tried the chicken, wild rice and quinoa soup and thought it was delicious. It was such an easy lunch to pack for work, and was quick to prepare. It was a great warm lunch and saved me from venturing out of the office on a cold day. The soup was hearty and filling and kept me going all day. Yum! Will definitely purchase again.

I tried Woolworths Fresh Soup today and I admit it was better than I initially thought it would be. Firstly, I was seriously impressed by the variety they had; secondly, they were on special – 4 for $10 – which was a very attractive offer; and thirdly, the taste was considerably richer and fuller than I expected – some snack style soups are so bland and watery. I chose to have Beef & Vegetable today and it had a good selection of vegetables, as well as a slightly spicy taste which was very nice. I ate it for lunch but must admit, it didn’t fill me up - it’s more of an in-between meals snack. I’m going to try the Minestrone next!
Pleasant surprise for a store brand soup!

My review is for the Malaysian Style Chicken Laksa. I decided to choose a soup that I wouldn't normally pick, just for something different. I have to say I was so surprised at how nice it tasted! I cooked it in the microwave - super quick and easy preparation for lunch time! The smell, when I took off the lid, was really nice. I sprinkled some extra crunchy noodles on the top. The taste was great....really coconut-y with just enough zing, a good amount of vegetables and a nice creamy taste. I would say it could have done with a few more pieces of chicken in it, but otherwise, I really did enjoy it. The serving size was just enough to fill me up. I will definitely buy this soup when I'm out shopping again. Really glad to have had the opportunity to review this one!

Just buy, warm up and serve! Doesnt get any easier than that. Pair with some toast soldiers to keep the kids and hubby happy and noone needs to know how easy it actually was to prepare. Tasty and with a homemade vibe, I can surely say I would reccomend for an easy dinner or a quick work lunch anytime!!
Woolies soup great value for money
by angw1983Combined rating
I recently tried the chicken and veg woolies soup. It was a good sized serving and tasted great. It is quick and easy to heat up in the microwave. It filled a decent sized bowl quite nicely so it would make a quick dinner with the help of a dinner roll or bread. My only criticism would be that the potatoes in the soup do not soften all that much and were too hard for my liking so i didn't eat them. Overall great product for a great price.

I tried the second of two soups which was potato and leek, which is always a favourite of mine anyway. It definitely packed with flavour and my 2 year old also enjoyed sharing it with me. The potato chucks were a little disappointing, but overall I would buy again. After doing this trial I have gone back and bought more soups to have in the fridge.

I tried the low fat Chicken & Vegetable and the Minestrone soups. Other than a packaging issue with the opening tab sticking on one side on the Minestrone, the soups were delightful. Lovely flavour! A really inexpensive option for lunch time. Rather than spending$10-$20 on lunch, $3 soup (bread roll for 30-50c optional). Perfect winter lunch and healthy too!

I bought the Malaysian Style Chicken Laksa and although the taste was very tasty it did lack chicken pieces. I prefer a more spicy laksa myself but would recommend this to those who can only take mild laksa. It has a lovely smooth coconut milk flavour and is a satisfying soup. Thanks for the trial.
Tastes like home made
by mom210653Combined rating
This time I found the Woolworths Fresh Soups range easily in the deli section. The range seemed to be skewed towards classical soup flavour combinations. I chose the creamy mushroom soup to try. I heated it using the microwave directions rather than stove top to save on dishes. The soup was enjoyable, with chunks of mushroom evident and a pleasant aftertaste of thyme. The serving size was good for a small appetite, for a more substantial meal I would recommend eating it with a bread roll or similar. It would be a great option for taking to work for lunch. I would buy this type of soup again, particularly if it was on special because I think the price is a little too high.

I used to make my own soup but when you're the only one in the household that eats it, you stop bothering. I would definitely buy again. Tins are too large so this is a great size (and lets be honest it tastes better than the tinned stuff!) I felt fulfilled after eating it, not like cup-a-soups that leave you still hungry. I tried the pumpkin but would like to try other ones that are available. The taste is unique and rather like homemade without the hassle. Will definitely buy again in the future.
Lots of flavour!!

When I went to Woolworths to purchase my soup, I was surprised to see so many different varieties which made choosing very hard!! I eventually chose the Red Thai Chicken soup. As soon as I opened the lid to my soup I could smell all the herbs and spices and I couldn't wait to dig in!! The flavour of the soup was so yummy and i really enjoyed the soup. My only complaint was that the soup was quite watery and I would have preferred a thicker soup, but this isn't enough to stop me from buying the soup again.

Not only does the soup look good, it tastes good too. There were so many choices, but I chose the Malaysian Laksa, (next perhaps the red curry, as I love the strong flavours), and this was smooth and had the right texture and taste. Perhaps I should try the pumpkin too, but they have come just in time for a quick, warm lunch.

Well after trying the Malaysian Chicken Laksa soup a few days back I thought I'd give the Chicken Noodle Soup a go. I found it quite average, my 2 girls enjoyed it which surprised me. I really enjoyed eating the Sweet Potato and Pumpkin soup with thick crusty bread, it is a great meal to have when everybody else is out and don't want to spent time cooking. But I have also discovered how great then can be when used to add flavour to a meal. The two men are still battling with the sneezing season. Although this soup in my view is not as good as homemade it comes in a good second. For lunch over the weekend I heated up a tub of beef and vegetable and a tub of minestrone and mixed them together. The vegetable content in one tub alone is not that great but mix things up a bit and add other variety and you come up with a healthy brew.

OK. Here I go again! I just submitted a review but after typing for quite a length I was "dumped out" by the Mum's website. Anyway, I just tried the Woolworths Chicken and Vegetable Soup. It is chilly here tonight and I was looking forward to hot soup and toasty bread. Although the soup is very low in fat, it still delivered on taste. It is also low in salt so I added a little salt and ended up with a nice tasty light meal. I had the 300g size but if you need to feed a crowd there is a larger family size available.
Sweet Potato and Pumpkin Soup

I tried this soup today. It was ok, but not as nice as other brands I've had. There wasn't much flavour to it, apart from onion and pepper overpowering the sweet potato and pumpkin. What a great range! Red Thai Chicken Soup review
by Mum of 1Combined rating
Wow what a wide range! Flavours to suit everyone in the family. I didn't know which one to choose. My first soup is the red Thai chicken. I heated it up in the microwave as per direction. Visually: the soup split with the heat but other then that the colour looks great. Smell: wow this smells amazing!!! Great hit of lemongrass, ginger and kaffir lime. Taste: lovely "thai" and capsicum taste. The capsicum is a little overpowering but hey there is a big capsicum image on the lid. Texture: lovely. Smooth liquid with some capsicum pieces and spring onions but ... not a lot of chicken. Overall a lovely soup for a quick lunch at home but not great if you love your meat and don't like capsicum. However I'll buy this again as a beautiful comfort soup on a rainy day.

Tried the Malaysian Chicken Laksa soup for lunch and thought the flavour was great, however like most soups you buy it was spot the chicken. Have also purchased a chicken noodle soup so I'll advise later in the week how that one goes.

I am yet to try the Woolworths soups but so far I am impressed with their range. They have Asian Style Chicken & Corn, Red Thai Chicken, Beef & Vegetable, Chicken Noodle, Creamy Mushroom, Potato & Leek, Pea & Ham, Malaysian Style Chicken, Sweet Potato & Pumpkin, Minestrone, Lamb & Barley, Checken & Vegetable and Creamy Pumpkin. I did not see all the varieties in one store but the larger stores will stock most of these. I think they are reasonably priced at $3 for a 300g soup and I like the health rating on the lid. I will provide an updated review once I have tried the soup myself as taste is the key factor when I purchase food.

So.......I much prefer to buy these on special I must admit, because that makes them great value and I am always on the lookout for a bargain. There is a wide range of flavours to satisfy those in the family that eat/drink soup. Teenage male not a fan of any soup! Teenage female is vegetarian and I feel guilt when I buy those with meat. So on this occasion for the reviews the soups were veg ....... and went down very nicely thank you. I have had different flavours in the past and possibly enjoyed these a little more..... as I like chicken. But in short......all were tasty.....none were dodgy!

I had the chicken and vegetable flavour this time (had beef and vegetable before and loved it). Again there was a good amount of meat and vegetables. and it really tasted like I had made it myself. The only thing I thought was that it definitely needed seasoning. Unlike the others which were perfect on their own. It is not hard to add a little salt and pepper though so I would totally recommend these soups . Great for a quick, easy and healthy lunch (especially in this weather)

Had the chicken noodle soup and have to say that the laksa I had previously was much tastier. There was lots of carrot in the soup and I liked the consistency of it as well as the celery. I was fortunate to be selected to review Woolworths Fresh Soups by the Mouths of Mums site and selected the Roast pumpkin one. Whilst it was a relatively small portion size for the price ($3) I found it to be satisfying but I added sliced cooked sausage to it to bulk it up a bit. All in all it wasn't a bad choice, but as I said, the portion size was very small for the price charged.

It became a thick soupy and coconut creamy laksa. It would have been better if there were more chicken pieces and chilli so I added chilli paste for a hotter flavour.
A healthier option than canned soup
by redfroggirlCombined rating
I tried the sweet potato and pumpkin soup and found it to be less salty than canned soups. the flavour was good and the texture wasn't too thick or watery, however for me it was a bit too much pepper. I would buy this again if i didn't have time to make my own soup as it is handy for a healthy lunch at work etc.

I tried the Chinese chicken and corn soup. Had real chunks of chicken and fresh tasting corn, adds a real oriental element to the meal. Great as an entree or a main meal. The size was great value for money and spread between 3 people. Would definitely recommend to others considering purchasing!
Mushroom 1/10 - Pumpkin 10/10
by Mum of 1Combined rating
Mushroom was my number 1 choice. Oh boy, what was I disappointed. The first ingredients on the list should have been thyme followed by the rest. It was simply too overpowering for my liking. The minute I opened the lid it smelled "funny". Visually it looked really nice with some small little pieces. It didn't split when heating up. I did had some "bigger" pieces of mushrooms which was a nice surprise but unfortunately I just couldn't it eat the rest due to the thyme. However if you like this particular spice I'm sure you will like this soup. I bought soup in the 1L container for a family dinner. YUMMMY! Just great. I tend to do my own pumpkin soups but this is a winner and will probably be a soup I would buy every now and then. Just great, it smelled nice, it tastes nice, it looked nice and my toddler ate it which is the bonus

i tried this one and it was very nice, much better than canned varieties of soup. I found it to be a bit too peppery for me. However i would recommend this soup for a quick and easy healthy lunch. Very convenient and the price was great! Both pumpkin and sweet potato are absolute favorites of mine...so a combo of the two was heaven.

I really liked the creamy pumpkin soup It was lovely & smooth. Tasted home made. You could taste the pumpkin & it was very tasty. Quick to heat up, it would make a great small meal with some bread if you needed to eat in a hurry. The price was very reasonable too. I would definitely buy it again.
Value For Money
by ChristieCombined rating
The soup was a pleasant surprise. The flavour was good and I enjoyed the consistency of the soup. It is a good option for mums who are time poor however I still prefer a home made soup. For the soup to be properly to my liking I need to add some additional flavour. Still, value for money and a good option for a quick and easy meal.
Red Thai Chicken Soup
by mom69881Combined rating
The Red Thai Chicken Soup had a touch of spice but not too hot. It would have benefited from a little bit more bulk to the mixture but overall quite tasty. It was a handy size, easy to heat up and good for a quick lunch, and value for money.
Winter comfort food
by georgieandfourCombined rating
Being a bit under the weather I picked up a pack of the new Woolworths Fresh Soups chicken noodle flavour - because who doesn't like chicken noodle soup when you have a cold? There were lots of other flavours that looked yummy but I was after some old-fashioned comfort food and couldn't be bothered making it myself. Have to be honest, I couldn't smell it while I was heating it, because I have a cold. But it's not so bad that I couldn't taste, and the soup was really yummy. It also looked like real soup, some supermarket soups just don't look 'right' to me but this looked like what I expect from a bowl of soup. It tasted good, and the chicken to noodle to vegie ratio was good too. The only reason I didn't rate it higher for 'would purchase again' is that I am a major cheapskate and thus $3 on a single serve of soup is more than I often spend. If I'm sick and tired again, or when I go back to work as a better option than buying lunch from a cafe, I probably will end up picking up a pack again as I did enjoy it.
Great price for an easy and tasty soup

Woolworths soups are a wonderful price and have some great flavours to choose from. Most flavours tasted great and the best part is that they come in easy to heat up packaging. Some flavours were a little bland but most were tasty. I enjoyed the chicken noodle best!
Sweet potato and pumpkin lunch.
by mom186986Combined rating
I have just tried Woolworths soups thanks to MoM. I was surprised by the choice available. I like taking soup to work so I was impressed with the firm fitting lid and serving size. The soup is thick and not over seasoned so you can address to your own taste. Great snack food or addition to dinner. Label states 2 serves but it's a one serve portion. Would be great for kids as well.

Chicken without chicken
by mom112567Combined rating
Alright so maybe i asked for it because when i make my own chicken and veg soup i add a lot of shredded chicken and a ton of veg... so the soup wasnt bad persay it was just a bit loght on good ingredients. Flavor was fine. And it did say low fat however there was a distinct fat film on the top ( those who make soup from whole bone have probably seen this). Also there were carrots and celery but i would say the majority of the little container was broth and barely there potato. If the veg content was just upped a bit it would have been a wonderful soup! Great spices garlic and basil and light chicken flavor not too much salt... but not enough veg.
Great Taste
by mom57665Combined rating
This soup had a nice taste with a lot of flavor. But to be honest I love home cooked soup better but if your on the go and don't have time to cook this is very convenient especially because of the packaging It tastes a lot better than other canned and ready made soups I have tried in the past. The price was also decent for a packaged soup. It may be a good option for my husband for work on the morning I don't have the energy to cook.
Woolworths Beef & Vegetable Soup
by mom75925Combined rating
The Beef & Veg soup contained a reasonable amount of tender beef chunks. It also had fresh veges. The vegetables were a little more crisp than I expected. I would have preferred them to be a bit more tender but they seemed to be very fresh and I would expect them to be quite healthy. Overall, I enjoyed the soup and found it very easy to heat in the microwave. The 300g size was selling at 4 for $10.00 which represents fairly good value. I also bought Chicken Noodle, Sweet Potato & Pumpkin and Chicken & Vegetable flavours which I am still to try.

Red Thai Chicken Soup
by mom197147Combined rating
Smells and tastes like an authentic Thai red curry, could really smell the lemongrass. Wasn't very thick, could probably have a few more "bits" in it. Mild in spiciness, I would like a little more spicy kick in the soup. Soup has shredded chicken, I would have preferred chunkier chicken bits. You could cook up a little rice and add it in to give it a bit more thickness. Was yummy, but was left not feeling full.

Tastey but a bit expensive
by mom112567Combined rating
I tried the minestrone and was pleasantly surprised. A very distinct tomato taste! It also had a nice thick, chunky texture with heaps of veg. I would definitely say it was healthy and had lots of good wholesome ingredients. I appreciated that there was no pasta as i often find that pasta ruins texture. If you need something quick this one would not disappoint in terms of low cal low fat options.

Asian style Chicken & Corn Soup
by CarolinebCombined rating
This soup is very convenient for a quick weekday meal at work and is a steal for $3. I love chicken and corn soup but wasn't a huge fan of this one, I think it needed to be a bit thicker and was lacking something. I also found it left a strange after taste in the mouth. I would purchase a soup from this range again but probably not this flavour. Looking forward to trying some other flavours.
Small but very tasty

I purchased the Roast Pumpkin soup and although the portion was quite tiny it was better than the canned soups. The only recommendation I can make is perhaps make the portions larger, but it is easily augmented (as I did) with fresh vegetables and/or meat of my own, or even served with pasta.
Red Thai chicken
by mom213729Combined rating
Taste is good. But not thick. For some reason I didn't feel like having soup. I rather felt if I am having a red thai curry gravy which had to too much of water. Overall I would say Red Thai chicken is not upto the mark.

What I love about these soups are that they are simple, easy, nutritious, and delicious. I absolutely love soups as a go to in winter because they are filling and healthy. These Woolworths soups are great tasting and flavourful. The only downside is that they have some sugar and corn starch or cream in them, which I try to avoid.
Sweet soup

I quite enjoyed not having to make my own soup. It was very enjoyable as the combination of sweet potato and pumpkin was something unique and the vegetables were pleasant to eat together. I also liked the fact I could easily warm it up and eat it. No cooking from scratch. I would purchase from Woolworthes again.

Asian Style Chicken & Corn Soup review
by kuzbuzCombined rating
I tried the Woolworths Asian Style chicken & Corn Soup today. The instructions for heating the soup on a 1000W microwave was to heat for 2 minutes, stir and reheat a further 1 minute. I thought the soup was then too hot to eat so I had to wait for it to cool a little so if you are in a rush and want to eat straight away, reduce the extra 1 minute time at the end to accommodate how hot you want it. My initial impression on my first taste was that it was not like the chicken and corn soup I would buy at the Chinese Shop. There was some aftertaste which I could not identify. However after a few more mouthfuls, you just enjoy the warmth of some hot soup and you can see the chicken and corn pieces. I did enjoy this soup but did not love it enough to rush to get more. I would definitely try some of the other varieties. As I have not tries other supermarket branded soups it is difficult for me to compare but it is definitely better than the tinned soups, but not as good as homemade.
Pea & Ham Soup review
by kuzbuzCombined rating
This is now the 2nds soup I have tried in the Woolworths range. I like the star rating on the top of the package and the fact that is states how may serves of veggies are included. What I don't like is the fact that the heating instructions are tiny. This information in critical to heating this product yet it is so small it puts even those with the best eyesight to the test. Anyway, after getting the instructions I tries the Pea & Ham Soup. There is nothing like a warm soup on a cold winters day to make you feel better. This was the same, although I must admit it did not taste like my mums homemade version. It was thick and chunky and quite filling. However it obviously has ingredients in it to make it last longer than the fresh homemade soup so perhaps this is what may be giving me the unusual taste. Nevertheless, it is edible and nice comfort food if you don't have time to make your own soup and definitely value for money but if you have the chance, nothing beats your own homemade version.
Tasty!
by sarahr6Combined rating
There's a lot of choice when choosing soup from this range, but having a vegetarian daughter limits the options somewhat. I opted for the potato and leek. It was very tasty and went well with pesto parmesan bread. My 18 year old thought it was okay......which is saying something. I would probably buy this for a quick work lunch to heat up

I tried the Chicken and Corn soup this time as a quick and easy lunch. I enjoyed the soup as it had plenty of corn and chicken pieces in it and was thicker then the version I get from the takeaway place down the road also cheaper. Will be purchasing again as it is just the right size (300 gm) to take to work for lunch as it is easy to heat in the microwave.

My second review I saved the soup for master 5/fussy to try i had a few spoonfuls whilst checking the temperature it wasn't to my taste. Master 5/fussy happily ate it. Though if it didn't have noodles i doubt he would have tasted it. Price wise i think a can of soup which you csn keep on had is a lot better value for money. The woolies soups are a single serve & a can of soup served with toast is sufficient for myself & my son

The new Woolworths range of fresh soups has so many different varieties to choose from that it was so hard to decided which ones to try. The packaging is nice and bright with lots of colours and the pictures look enticing, they are full of vegetables and the smell is amazing but i found the taste was not so great.
Tasty but works out expensive
by azp74Combined rating
We enjoyed the soup but the problem with soup is that we generally go for it as a cheap meal and unfortunately buying soup like this doesn't work out cheap at all. It is cheaper for us to do a big batch and freeze in smaller portions. This is something we would save up as either an emergency meal or one that we would use if we only needed to feed one adult.

I asked hubby to pick up two different flavours of Woolworths Fresh Soups to trial whilst he was out. He ended up coming home with 4 flavours because he said it was more cost effective to purchase 4 for $10 this week. We have firstly trialled Sweet Potato & Pumpkin Soup and Asian Style Chicken & Corn Soup. We heated them in the microwave as per package instructions before decanting them into soup bowls. I believe these soups would be ideal for someone needing a quick nutritious meal - especially if you were home sick. However we both agreed the 300g serve was too small as a meal for an adult. You would need to serve this with toast or something similar to fill you. Perhaps a Pea & Ham variant so you can add your own pie for a Pie Floater. Sweet Potato & Pumpkin Soup: It is a dark orange colour with small black flecks which I am assuming is either pepper or undisolved spice. I started with this variety but found it a little bitter. I would have preferred a more creamier consistency however this would not be Low in Fat as promoted on the packaging. I ended up swapping my bowl with hubby. Hubby normally isn't a fan of pumpkin soup but he really enjoyed this. He scraped his bowl clean. Asian Style Chicken & Corn Soup: This soup tasted like it was homemade to me. Even a little exotic. It contained plenty of corn and real chicken. Not mushy at all. It was hard to believe it is a supermarket brand. Hubby in turn didn't enjoy this variety. It was a bit like baby food to him. I would purchase this product again in a larger serve. I would suggest 400g is more suitable for an adult. In conclusion these soups are a hit and miss. Some people will love them, some won't.
Okay but not great
by mom73552Combined rating
This soup was okay but not great. I felt it needed seasoning or more flavour. The small amount of lamb in there was a bit fatty and grissly. For the price it wasn't too bad but I wouldn't rush to buy this flavour again.
Chicken noodle soup.
by Naomi PerumalCombined rating
I decided to try the chicken noodle soup as my daughter loves noodles and soup so I thought we might be on to a winner. When I opened the container the first thing I noticed was the lovely smell and that it had lots of vegetables in it and I though this might be good, unfortunately the smell was the nicest thing about it. I found that it didn't have much flavour and my daughter who normally eats everything took an hour to eat half the small container and she didn't like the celery in it. I am willing to try another flavour as it was a simple meal to end a busy day, I hope the next one is better.

Good soup for the price. It's great for winter when you can be bothered cooking. It's also good when you want something healthy but don't feel like salad when it's cold. It's is an easy meal for the kids and babies. Just add some torn up bread so it's less messy.

I had the creamy pumpkin soup and it tasted very heart warming. It was creamy and even though I bought the small size I felt very full as the product was very wholesome. The heating instructions stated two minutes but it probably needed 2.30 or 3 minutes really as it was luke warm at two minutes. The soup was indeed so creamy it was perfect for dipping toasted cheesy toasts into it too!

But have definitely had better soup come from a can.

Just finished my thai red chicken soup. My boys and I ate it all. So its not bad. About half way there in my eyes. It's rated 2 chillis out of 3 I don't like spice but didn't taste one ounce of it, nor would my kids eat it if they did. So the soup is missing some spice and lacking the punch of flavour thai soups have. I would have liked to have thinly sliced chicken in it and baby corns to add texture. As there was probably only 20gm of chicken all up very minute sizes. Probably won't buy again. Sorry woolworths. For $3 its good. I understand the fine balance of flavour and price is hard to get right.

I bought two tubs of Red Thai Chicken soup. The tub size was good for a one person lunch. As soon as I opened the lid, I was hit but a revolting smell of fish! I was really put off but I tipped the soup into a ceramic bowl and heated it in the microwave. As it heated, all I could smell was fish! It was a good consistency...nice and thick... and a good colour. As for the chicken....well I found ONE piece! It was incredibly chewy and stringy and I would not have known it was chicken unless I read the ingredient panel! Overall, the soup tasted like spicy fish. Yuk. It really needs renaming 'Red Thai Fish Soup'. The fish oil ingredient over-powered the whole dish. I wont be buying that flavour again. I may be tempted to try a different flavour though. Very disappointed.

30% of daily salt intake in one snall 'snack' size serve
by mom176887Combined rating
I'm writing about the sweet potatoe and pumpkin soup that might interest vegetarians. Unfortunately there was 699mg of sodium in a single serve. That is 30% of the daily upper limit (for average build person; smaller people will have an even lower upper limit recommendation). You only get 133 calories from this item, so it is more a 'snack' than a meal. Woe betide you if you think of having 2 servings to make it more substantial because you're sodium limits will be through the roof. Can't recommend until they cut the sodium and will have to blend the pumpkin and potatoe myself to make sure don't get the extra sodium. :( ...

However i heated up my soup to try (yes its in date.. still a week before it expires). I am very disappointed i cant even describe what it tastes like nothing like chicken or the variety of vegetables you can see inside. It must be one of the unnamed spices or something that has over powered the whole soup. There is also next to nothing chicken in the soup.
Chicken Noodle Soup

Needs noodles!! There weren't many in the soup I had. Was more like a chicken broth. The vegie content was good, but the balance wasn't right, not enough vegies or noodles in it. I didn't overly like the flavour, I thought it could have used more capsicum perhaps, or other vegies, to give the soup less of a broth feel and some sweetness and taste. Not my favourite in the range.
